Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to found out the role of parents in motivating junior high school students' learning at Desa Malo Jelayan Bengkayang. The research problems were: 1) how did the parents' role in motivating junior high school students at Desa Malo Jelayan Bengkayang from the view of providing education; 2) how did the parents' role in motivating junior high school students at Desa Malo Jelayan Bengkayang from the view of practicing patience; 3) how did the parents' role in motivating junior high school students at Desa Malo Jelayan Bengkayang from the view of knowing students' difficulties in learning; 4) how did the parents' role in motivating junior high school students at Desa Malo Jelayan Bengkayang from the view of providing learning facilities. The method used was qualitative descriptive. The source of the data was five parents. The research tools were observation guideline, interviews, and documentation. The result showed that the parents' role in motivating students from the view of providing education was poor, parents' role from the view of practicing patience was good, parents' role from the view of knowing students' difficulties in learning was excellent, parents' role from the view of  providing learning activities was poor. Keywords: Parents' Role, Motivation, Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know the implementation of E-learning based learning that have replaced the face-to-face learning method toward the tenth grader students of IPS at SMAN 1 Sungai Raya in Geography subject during Covid-19 pandemic. The type of the research had been used is descriptive with qualitative method with case study form research. The procedures of data collecting in this research are interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The result of research reveals that the implementation of learning by E-learning in the Geography subject learning process during Covid-19 pandemic for the tenth grader students of IPS at SMAN 1 Sungai Raya is synchronous due to simultaneously learning (Real Time). The assignments that had been given by the teacher not Real Time or carried out delay basis so means that asynchronous. The was synchronous because after the students had sent the assignment on Google Classroom, they directly saw their score in Real time or simultaneously. The suitability to basic competence and the achievement of the basic competence’s indicator for chapter I is about the Basic Knowledge of Geography and chapter II is about the Basic Mapping Knowledge, the students are understand enough about those material.Keywords:Geography Learning, Implementation E-learning, and Pandemic Covid-19

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the SWOT in CU BanuriHarapanKita Batang Tarang Kabupaten Sanggau.Theresearch method used is descriptive with a qualitativeapproach. The data sources in this study were oneadministrator and nine members of CU Banuri HarapanKita Batang Tarang as respondents for interviews. Datacollection was obtained through interview and thedocuments obtained were then analyzed through datareduction, data presentation, and verification/drawingconclusions then checking the validity of the data usingtriangulation techniques. Researchers conducted twointerviews. The reseach show that the strength of CU hasthree factors, namely capital capital growth, determinationof education level and managerial ability and there are fivestrategies to maximize strength. Weaknesses factors are theunvailability of ATM machines and infrastructure and thereis a strategy to minimize weaknesses. CU Banuri HarapanKita have several opportunities, namely governmentregulations that support credit cooperative businesses,technology, the majority of population are farmers, youngpeople who have the potential to enter Cuand there arethree strategies made to take advantage of theseopportunities. The threat of CU Banuri Harapan Kita thereare two factors, namely competition and Covid19 Pandemicand there are three strategies made to minimaze threats.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the suitability of the Lesson Plan (RPP) with the learning implementation of Social Studies teacher of SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak in class VIII A, VIII B, and VIII C. This research was conducted from April to May 2019. The method of this research was the qualitative descriptive method. The techniques of this research were observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the research on the first problem showed that in the implementation of the lesson plan with learning, it was carried out with the percentage of 86.6%, it categorized as very good. While the second problem regarding to the components of the Lesson Plan made by the teacher which consists of 13 components was very good, based on the Curriculum 2013 that applied, with the percentage of 85%, and the result of the third research problem about constraints experienced in the implementation of the lesson plan in learning Social Studies to the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak related to facilities and infrastructures, improper of the time allocation, the different characteristics of students and schools, and the certain other unexpected conditions.Keywords: Analysis, Implementation of Lesson Plan (RPP), Social Studies (IPS).

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the potential for attractions, accessibility, andamenities, the development of Datok Island coastal tourism on the socio-economic conditions of the community, and the appropriate strategy to beapplied. Descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Dataobtained through observation, interviews, documentation and SWOT analysis.The results of the study showed potential attractions, namely white sand, hills,mangrove forests, the Karimata strait sail monument, the Dutch heritage pond.Accessibility is the condition of the road that has been paved. Amenity, namely,there are already built facilities such as gazebos, lodging and others. Theproblem of attractions is that there is no cultural tourism and lack of supportingattractions. There is no map or map of the beach location for accessibility.Amenity lack of facilities. The social economic level of education around thecoast is mostly elementary to junior high. The strategy is to develop otherpotentials such as cultural tourism (customs, handicrafts, arts and others),human potential (local cultural arts dance performances), building adequateinfrastructure facilities (souvenir shops, rides for games, sports venues, foodstalls). traders who are clean and tidy, make maps or plans for the location ofthe Datok island beach, carry out socialization of the development of good andcorrect tourist destinations, form POKDARWIS groups, conduct comparativestudies with more advanced tourist objects, promote maximum tourism objects,and empower all the community around the coast of Datok Island to promotelocal business.Keywords: Strategy, Tourism Destination Development, Social Economic

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the relationship between entrepreneurial behavior and the quality of the Small and Medium Industries of Pontianak City Handicrafts. The method used in this research was descriptive method with a form of quantitative study of relationship studies (interrelationship studies). The population in this study is Pontianak Small and Medium Industries consumers. The sampling technique uses incidental sampling. Which respondents are sampled for research are; (a) consumers who are at least 17 years old, (b) consumers who have made a repeat purchase of the product at least 2 times. The data collection tool used uses direct and indirect communication techniques, namely observation of owners of Small and Medium Industries. Pontianak City Hand, questionnaire to Pontianak Kota Small and Medium Industries  consumers and documentation. While data processing techniques use Pearson correlation. The results of the research in the field can be concluded that that there was a positive relationship between entrepreneurial behavior and product quality. The significance of the calculation was 0.001 <0.05, the alternative hypothesis was accepted and the correlation relationship in the table was known to be 0.520 which means that the variables of entrepreneurial behavior with the quality of the products of the Small and Medium Industries Pontianak City have a moderate relationship.Keywords: Entrepreneurial Behavior, Product Quality

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the tourism potential of Piantus, the factors inhibiting the development of Piantus tourism, and the efforts to develop Piantus tourism. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The informants of this research are the community and managers, as well as people from the tourism and culture office. The methods was used in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model and to check the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of this study indicate that 1) the potential that exists in this piantus such as a) Bukit Piantus, b) the site and the grave of the datok kullup, c) the sampan bedar competition, d) the ngamping festival, e) handicrafts. 2) factors inhibiting tourism development, namely a) lack of knowledge of the manager or the community, b) incomplete facilities and infrastructure, c) lack of promotion, d) the role of the government has not been maximized, e) high community enthusiasm can lead to inappropriate actions. under control. 3) development efforts to be carried out, namely a) holding annual events, b) websites or social networks, c) installing billboards or directions, d) working with service providers and the government.Keywords: Barriers, Potential piantus, Tourism development efforts.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aim is to learn how much the influence of entrepreneurship course towards interest in entrepreneurship for economics education student in FKIP UNTAN Pontianak. The research method used is an explanatory method with a form of causality research. The object source of this research is from PPAPK Semester IV economic education students and the form of data in this study is a questionnair, guidelines and results of interviews with lecturers of entrepreneurship courses. The results of research showed that the influence of entrepreneurship courses on the interest of student entrepreneurship was 52%, which meant that the entrepreneurial course is  "Rather Strong " affected the interest of student entrepreneurs.  Keywords: Entrepreneurship Course, Interest In Entrepreneursip Student, Economics Education

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to know “the effect of classroom management towards 8th grade students learning outcomes in MTs Tradisul Ulum Kubu Padi.” This research addresses two problems: how are the 8th grade students’ social science learning outcomes in MTs Tadrisul Ulum Kubu Padi, does classroom management significantly affect the students’ learning outcomes in Social Science class, The methodology implemented was descriptive quantitative in a form of correlational study. The variables of the research included independent and dependent variables: classroom management as the independent variable and students’ learning outcomes as the dependent variable. The data of this research were taken from social science learning outcomes of the students taken from 40 students of the 8th grade who acted as the population of the study. The data were collected by using indirect communication and documentary study technique, using questionnaire as the tool. Based on the data analysis, the regression equation was Y = 57.641 + 0.342 X. From the T-test, it can be identified that the significance level (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05), and the normality test determined the significance value of 0.769 > 0.05, meaning the residuals are distributed normally, and the percentage of the effect being 3.5% (low). Keywords: Classroom Management, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out the effects of applying Numbered Head Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model with classes that apply conventional methods to geography subject.  This research is quantitative with experimental research type.  The population in this study were all classes of XI IIS which consist of six classes.  The sample in this study was class XI IIS 3 as the experimental class by applying Numbered Head Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model and class XI IIS 2 as the control class with conventional learning method, with the sampling technique using purposive sampling technique.  The results of the research in the experimental class obtained an average score of final knowledge test of 82.06 and in the control class an average score of final knowledge test obtained of 75.26.  Hypothesis testing conducted was T-Test using the Independent Sample T-Test, with the calculation result obtained is Sig.  (2-tailed) of 0,000.  In conclusion, there is a difference in student learning outcomes that apply Numbered Head Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning method compared to those using conventional methods in learning geography in class XI IIS SMAN 1 Sungai Raya. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Numbered Head Together Models
