Abstract

The study was conducted to measure the effectiveness of the Snakes and Ladders of Diversity media on the learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of class III of SD 3 Menawan. The study used a quantitative method of the Pre-Experimental model with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. Determination of the sample using the saturated sample technique. The sample used all students of class III of SD 3 Menawan with a total of 28 students. Data were obtained through multiple choice written tests and essays on the pretest and posttest. Data analysis used SPSS 26 with the Shapiro-Wilk Technique normality test as a prerequisite test and hypothesis testing with the Paired Sample T-test and N-Gain tests. The normality test showed that the pretest and posttest values ​​were normally distributed. The results of the Paired Sample T-test showed a significant value of 0.00 <0.05, meaning that there was a difference in the pretest and posttest values ​​of the Pancasila Education learning outcomes. The results of the N-Gain test showed that the Pancasila Education learning outcomes increased by 0.6259 with moderate criteria. The results of this study imply that the learning process using game-based learning media such as Snakes and Ladders of Diversity can be a fun and effective learning strategy in improving learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. Teachers are encouraged to utilize similar media to increase active student engagement in learning. Furthermore, schools can further develop other innovative learning media to support more optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang motivasi belajar anak usia Sekolah Dasar di Desa Keling serta metode peranan orang tua yang diterapkan terhadap motivasi belajar anak usia Sekolah Dasar di Desa Keling Ngasem RT 1/RW 7. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif sebagai tahapan dalam melaksanakan penelitian. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Keling Ngasem RT 1/RW 7 Kecamatan Keling Kabupaten Jepara, dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 6 orang tua dan 6 anak usia Sekolah Dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua di Desa Keling Ngasem berperan sebagai korektor, informator, motivator, organisator, dan fasilitator. Fokus peranan orang tua dalam penelitian ini meliputi pembentukan jam belajar anak, pendampingan belajar anak, dan pemberian reward. Penerapan peran tersebut mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak, menjadikan anak lebih disiplin dalam belajar, serta mengatur waktu bermain dan belajar dengan lebih baik. Adapun saran dalam penelitian ini adalah agar orang tua tetap memberikan peranan yang positif sehingga anak tetap memiliki motivasi belajar yang baik, baik di rumah maupun di sekolah.

Abstract

Religious character education embedded in elementary school-aged children in Desa Kragan was still found to be low, such as the low motivation of the children to recite the Al-Qur’an and the lack of children’s politeness. This research aimed to describe the impartment of religious character education as well as inhibiting and supporting factors in the impartment of religious character education in elementary school-aged children through religious activities in the Bajigur House, Desa Kragan, Kabupaten Rembang. The research was conducted in Desa Kragan, Kecamatan Kragan, Kabupaten Rembang. This research utilized descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were elementary school-aged children ranged from 7 to 11 years old. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. Then, the data were analyzed through the following steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The validity of the data were examined by using triangulation. The results of this research confirmed that the religious character in elementary school-aged children was imparted through religious activities in the Bajigur House, including the practice of the congregation fardhu prayer, BTA activities, and reciting sholawat and yasin. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors found in this research were that students still needed guidance due to their various background. Other factors were the lack of supervision from teacher and parents due to the lack of awareness of the value of religious character, and the lack of enthusiasm for children in participating in these activities due to the social factors of students both at school and at home. At last, the supporting factors included getting support from parents and the surrounding community as well as adequate facilities.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve students’ critical thinking skills through make a match model assisted by puzzle media for elementary school students in the even semester of the academic year 2019/ 2020. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles by using make a match as a learning method and puzzle as a learning medium. The subjects of this study were 26 students at grade V SD 3 Adiwarno, which consisted of 14 male students and 12 female students. The research data were collected by using the learning outcome test in the form of description question and non-test technique (interviews, observation, and documntation). The data from the test were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. At the precycle stage consisting of PPKn and Social Science, the result of critical thinking test obtained an average of classical learning completeness of 1846 with a percentage of 44% (fairly good category). Then, the result of classical learning completeness obtained in cycle I was 2025 with a percentage of 73% in good category. Moreover, the result of classical learning completeness in cycle II was 2125 with a percentage of 85% in very good category. Thus, it could be concluded that make a match model assisted by puzzle media improved stuednts’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Background: Integrasi teknologi informasi dalam bidang pendidikan memiliki peran penting sebagai pendamping guru dalam melaksanakan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Selain itu perlunya pengetahuan TPACK kepada guru perlu dikembangkan, karena integrasi antar kemampuan pedagogi, konten materi dan teknologi sangat diperlukan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis literasi digital untuk pengembangan keterampilan TPACK guru di SD 3 Peganjaran, meningkatkan kompetensi dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis literasi digital untuk pengembangan keterampilan TPACK guru di SD 3 Peganjaran, dan guru mampu menyusun dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis literasi digital untuk pengembangan keterampilan TPACK guru di SD 3 Peganjaran. Metode: pelaksasnaan kegiatan menggunakan teknik Service Learning. Teknik ini guru diajak untuk aktif, kreatif dan inovatif dalam merancang dan membuat pendampingan merancang media pembelajaran berbasis literasi digital. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan interaktif dengan studi kasus, tanya jawab, diskusi, curah pendapat, ide, praktik pembuatan produk dan observasi lapangan dengan mitra. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan PKM ini berupa pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis literasi digital dan diaktifkan dalam penerapannya untuk mengembangkan keterampilan TPACK guru sehingga memberikan hasil yang optimal pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah, produk media pembelajaran berbasis literasi digital diterapkan secara terprogram dan produktif oleh guru. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) para guru. Kesimpulan: Guru tidak hanya memperoleh keterampilan teknis (Technological Knowledge) dalam mengoperasikan platform Quizizz, tetapi juga mampu mengintegrasikannya dengan pemahaman pedagogis (Pedagogical Knowledge) dalam merancang evaluasi yang menarik, serta menyesuaikannya dengan materi terbuka (Content Knowledge).

Abstract

The monotonous learning process and rarely using video media causes low student learning outcomes. This often happens considering the constraints of video media support tools. The purpose of this study is to measure the improvement of students' understanding of science using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Interactive Video Media for science subjects. This type of research uses quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental design approach with the type of One Group Pretest-posttest Design. This research was carried out in class V of SDN Kutoharjo 01 pati with a sample of 26 students. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews and tests. The results of this study using the paired sample T-test obtained a value of 0.000 where (0.000<0.05) so that H0 was rejected where the learning outcomes of students after the application of the PPT-assisted video-based problem based learning model were better than before the use of the model. The increase in the average pretest results was 65.4 for the pretest and 78.3 for the average posttest score with a t-8.457 value and an average N-Gain value of 0.36 in the medium category. The video-based Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by PPT media is effective for improving student learning skills, so that it can be a solution for teachers to create more active, effective learning so that learning outcomes are good.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of DEKASI (Location Plan) learning media to improve understanding of location and direction in grade 1 elementary school students. The background of this study comes from the need for concrete and fun learning media so that students can understand the concept of space visually. The phenomenon raised in this study is the low understanding of students regarding the direction and position of objects in space. This study has an element of novelty in the development of interactive media based on location plans, presented in an interesting and easy-to-understand manner by students in early grades.  Research Methods: This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative and quantitative approach, involving a validation process by experts and limited trials on grade 1 elementary school students. The instruments used in the study were validation sheets and student response questionnaires. Finding/Results: The validation results showed that this media was very feasible to use (90% feasibility), while student responses showed high enthusiasm and ease of understanding of the concept of direction and location. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that DEKASI media is effective and interesting to use in learning the topic of location and direction in grade 1 elementary school. The implication of this study is the need for integration of visual and interactive media in basic learning to improve students' spatial understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the achievement of IPAS learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD 3 Wergu Wetan through the implementation of the Think Pair Share Learning Model Assisted by Lapbook Media. The Think Pair Share Model is used because it is considered to be able to encourage student collaboration and discussion, while Lapbook Media has the potential to present IPAS material visually, interactively, and easily understood, which is relevant to the characteristics of fourth grade students. This study is included in the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 23 fourth grade students of SD 3 Wergu Wetan. The results of the study revealed that the use of the Think Pair Share learning model with the help of lapbook media was proven to significantly improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in science. There was a progressive increase in the level of student learning completion, starting from 22% in the pre-cycle stage, increasing to 48% after cycle I, and reaching 83% in cycle II. This increase was supported by an increase in the average class score from 62 in the pre-cycle stage, the score increased to 72 in cycle I, and reached the highest score of 83 in cycle II, as well as improvements in the distribution of student scores as a whole. This study concludes that the use of the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by Lapbook media is an efficient and promising approach to improving students' academic outcomes in science lessons in elementary schools. Therefore, this model and media are recommended as an alternative teaching strategy that is innovative, fun, and able to activate student involvement more optimally.

Abstract

It is very important for teachers to provide learning while simultaneously honing students' creativity. As in SD 6 Jekulo in the fine arts subject of recycling material. The class teacher encountered a problem that the majority of fourth-grade students were not optimal and had difficulty expressing their creativity. Due to this, the fourth-grade teacher provided learning with the Project Based Learning model to hone students' creativity. The purpose of this study was to analyze the creativity values of fourth-grade students in fine arts learning using the Project Based Learning learning model at SD 6 Jekulo. The research method was narrative qualitative. Data collection was in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SD 6 Jekulo. The research data collection techniques were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that learning using the Problem Based Learning learning model made it easier for teachers to hone students' creativity. The values of student creativity that were seen based on student behavior when creating works were the values of student independence, student curiosity, and student imagination. These creative values encouraged students to express their imagination. The conclusion of the study with the Project Based Learning learning model used by teachers to teach made it easier for students to hone their creativity in creating works.

Abstract

Kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan kurang minat belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS. Hal tersebut menjadi permasalahan yang menghambat proses siswa dalam belajar, maka agar tercapanya proses belajar siswa yang meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa, dapat diterapkan model dan media yang inovatif Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS kelas V SD menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis kearifan lokal menggunakan media misteri amplop. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan 2 siklus, setiap siklus dilaksanakan 2 petemuan dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari guru dan siswa kelas V SD 1 Sadang. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan obsrvasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian adalah Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan rata-rata siklus I sebesar 57,21 dan siklus II sebesar 62 ketuntasan klasikal prasiklus sebesar 42%, siklus I sebesar 52%, dan siklus II sebesar 63%.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat menyimpulkan bahawa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis kearifan lokal media misteri amplop dalam pembelajaran IPAS kelas V SD 1 Sadang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kritis siswa.
