Abstract

This article aims to explain the epistemology of science. The method used is library research in the form of references from various ready-to-use library data sources so that it can be used immediately and is not limited by space and time. The main data of articles comes from library data from various sources such as books, journals, articles, official websites, and other internet sources in the form of basic material to the main material about the nature of scientific epistemology. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that epistemology is related to the way understanding and knowledge are obtained in the context of Islamic education. It includes sources of knowledge, methods of knowledge, and truth. By understanding the sources of knowledge, knowledge methods, and truths in Islamic education management, it is hoped that educational institutions can make a positive contribution in forming individuals who are knowledgeable, moral, and able to make a positive contribution to society and Muslims as a whole.

Abstract

An ontological understanding of science is crucial to building solid theories, relevant methodologies, and scientifically accountable concepts. As a branch of philosophy, ontology aims to explore the meaning of existence and examine the basic characteristics of everything that exists, both concrete and abstract. Islamic education aims to form character, morals, and knowledge based on comprehensive Islamic teachings. The application of ontology in Islamic education management not only helps in formulating educational goals, but also provides direction in the strategy and implementation of education that is in line with Islamic values. This study uses the literature study method to review and analyze information from various relevant literature sources, such as scientific journals, books, research reports, and academic articles related to the topic discussed. Based on the results of the research, there are three well-known ontological theories, namely: Idealism, which teaches that there is something real in the world of ideas, The real reality is not what is seen, but what is invisible. Materialism, argues that there is something that is actually material or completely dependent on the material. Ontology helps scientists in determining what is the object of study and how they understand the existence of the object

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the positive impact of group guidance using a muhasabah approach on improving students' learning attitudes. A strong learning attitude is considered crucial for individual success, and a lack of a good learning attitude can be a hindrance to achieving academic accomplishments. In this context, the study focuses on students identified with low learning attitudes. The research methodology employed is quantitative with a one-group pre-test-post-test experimental design. The sample consists of 15 students selected randomly using simple random sampling. Data collection is conducted through non-test techniques using a Likert scale to measure students' learning attitudes. The results indicate that group guidance with a muhasabah approach has a significant influence on enhancing students' learning attitudes. These findings contribute to our understanding of the effectiveness of this method as a strategy to boost motivation and improve students' learning attitudes in the pursuit of academic success.
