Abstract

ABSTRACTTourism is a strategic sector that has the potential to drive regional economic growth and increase Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD). However, its contribution is often not optimal due to weak governance and the lack of implementation of Good Governance principles. This study aims to analyze the influence of Good Governance principles (participation, transparency, accountability, effectiveness efficiency, and responsiveness) on the governance of the Batee Puteh Beach tourism area development, as well as its implications for increasing PAD. The method used is a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis of 63 respondents selected purposively. The results show that all Good Governance indicators have a positive and significant effect on governance and PAD, with the strongest path being the responsiveness indicator. Governance also acts as a significant mediator that strengthens the influence of Good Governance on PAD. The main conclusion emphasizes that increasing PAD does not only depend on tourism potential but is highly determined by the quality of tourism governance that consistently applies the principles of Good Governance. Keywords : Good Governance, Tourism Development Governance, Local Revenue ABSTRAKPariwisata merupakan sektor strategis yang berpotensi mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah dan peningkatan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD). Namun, kontribusinya sering kali belum optimal akibat lemahnya tata kelola dan kurangnya penerapan prinsip Good Governance. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh prinsip Good Governance (partisipasi, transparansi, akuntabilitas, efektivitas efisiensi, serta daya tanggap) terhadap tata kelola pengembangan kawasan wisata Pantai Batee Puteh, serta implikasinya pada peningkatan PAD. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) terhadap 63 responden yang dipilih secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua indikator Good Governance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tata kelola dan PAD, dengan jalur terkuat pada indikator daya tanggap. Tata kelola juga berperan sebagai mediator signifikan yang memperkuat pengaruh Good Governance terhadap PAD. Kesimpulan utama menegaskan bahwa peningkatan PAD tidak hanya bergantung pada potensi wisata, melainkan sangat ditentukan oleh kualitas tata kelola pariwisata yang konsisten menerapkan prinsip Good Governance. Kata kunci: Good Governance, Tata Kelola Pengembangan Wisata, Pendapatan Asli Daerah

Abstract

Penyebaran hoax melalui media sosial seperti WhatsApp telah menjadi masalah serius yang memerlukan kemampuan literasi yang baik untuk mengatasinya. Penulis menggunakan metode library research, Artikel ini membahas tentang pentingnya literasi media sosial dalam mengatasi penyebaran hoax dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengatasi penyebaran hoax dan strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan literasi media sosial. Literasi media sosial ialah kemampuan untuk memahami dan menggunakan media sosial secara efektif dan bertanggung jawab. Dalam konteks penyebaran hoax, hal ini sangat penting untuk membantu pengguna media sosial memilah informasi yang benar dan menghindari penyebaran informasi palsu, dalam artikel ini kami juga mengikutsertakan pentingnya peran generasi z dalam mengatasi tantangan literasi dalam penyebaran berita hoax melalui whatsapp, generasi z tumbuh di era teknologi dan media sosial, sehingga mereka memiliki pemahaman yang lebh baik tentang penggunaan media sosial, generasi z dapat berperan sebagai agen perubahan dengan membagikan informasi yang benar dan menghindari penyebaran berita hoax. Mereka juga dapat berpartisipasi dalam kampanye edukasi dan pelatihan literasi medi sosial untuk membantu penggunaan media sosial lain.

Abstract

Islam is a religion which, in general understanding, is a universal religion. Islam is a teaching with broad dimensions, not just in one aspect, but covering several general aspects. Including the political aspect is an important part of Islam. In QS. Al-Taubah verse 7 contains a discussion of history and how, during the time of Rasulullah SAW, he solved a problem using politics. So that Islamic politics can regulate a good state and society. Apart from that, there is a discussion regarding the aspects of a leader who has good principles as a leader in the world of politics, contained in QS. Ali Imran verse 159, so that it can be a role model and guide in determining all decisions in politics. The position of women in the public sphere is also important in the world of politics, how a woman can become a leader but still maintain her dignity and position as a woman.

Abstract

​​Objectives: Covid-19 pandemic affected all sectors, including health. Stunting prevalence in Indonesia by 2019 is 26.67%, above 20% of Indonesia’s target. This study aims to review the implementation of specific interventions for the 1st 1000 days of life to prevent stunting in Padang City during Covid-19 Pandemic. Method: The design in this study uses mixed methods. This study took place in August 2020 – February 2021 at two health centers (Belimbing and Seberang Padang). A systemic approach was made for a qualitative method, and there were 11 informants required in this study determined by purposive sampling. Data collection uses in-depth interviews, observations, and document review, with data source and method triangulation. The quantitative method was analyzed using univariate analysis to observe the differences in 2019 and 2020 specific interventions for stunting. Result: This pandemic affected two study health centers. Most interventions did not reach their targets, such as exclusive breastfeeding, complete basic immunization, health promotion activities, vitamin A and folic acid intake, and pregnancy visits to healthcare facilities. Puskesmas Seberang Padang distinguished Covid-19 task force and stunting interventions team, and in Puskesmas Belimbing add more days for immunization. Diarrheas increased from 92 to 101 cases in 2018 and 2019 at Seberang Padang, while decreased from 101 to 56 cases at the Belimbing. Conclusion: Both health centers have different strategies and priorities for tackling stunting during the Covid-19 pandemic. In short, many interventions did not reach the target. The trend of diarrheal in 2018 and 2019 at Puskesmas Seberang Padang decreased and increased at Puskesmas Belimbing. Both health centers need to maximize the intervention for stunting during the Covid-19 pandemic by sticking to health protocols.

Abstract

Sarana pembelajaran seperti laborotarium kimia, merupakan salahsatu sarana yang dapat menunjang tingkat kepahaman siswa akanmateri yang disampaikan di kelas. Akan tetatpi,. kurangnya saranapembelajaran, seperti laboratorium ini,merupakan salah satupermasalahan yang umumnya dihadapi oleh satuan pendidikan diIndonesia. Oleh karena itu, pemanfaatan sumber daya alam danbahan-bahan yang mudah ditemui di sekitar lokasi sekolahmerupakan salah satu jalan yang dapat ditempuh oleh penyelenggarasatuan pendidikan. Pada kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat(PkM) ini, berusaha disajikan alternatif kegiatan praktikum yangdapat dilakukan dilakukan di ruang kelas, dengan menggunakanperalatan dan bahan-bahan yang dapat ditemukan di sekitar siswa.Kasus pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah pembelajaran kimia,yaitu materi asam-basa yang dipelajari pada tingkat SMA kelas IX.Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan pada SMAN 1 Wonosari, Klatenkelas IX-IPA. Siswa diberikan pelatihan tentang pembuatan larutanindikator dari ekstrak sayuran kol ungu (Brassica oleracea L.,)dengan menggunakan metode ekstraksi panas. Larutan ekstrak yangdihasilkan mengandung antosianin yang sensitif terhadap perubahanpH larutan sampel bahan kimia yang umum ditemukan di rumahsiswa, seperti, air berkarbonat, air mineral, larutan soda kue danlarutan pemutih pakaian. Dari kegiatan yang dilakukan, larutanindikator berbahan dasar ekstrak kol ungu, merupakan indikatoryang sensitif untuk mendeteksi pH larutan, baik larutan dengan pHasam, netral dan basa. Dengan diadakannya kegiatan PkM inimembuktikan bahwa dengan bahan, peralatan dan langkah-langkahyang sederhana, metode pembelajaran praktikum dapatdilaksanakan, sehingga pemahamann dan minat siswa akan materipembelajaran di kelas dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak gadget terhadap minat anak belajar anak, untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi belajar anak. Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang suatu dampak dari gadget terhadap minat belajar anak, karena dengan gadget akan membuat anak menjadi tidak disiplin dan pemalas. Jenis artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan penelitian berupa studi pustaka yang diambil langsung dari sumber seperti buku, jurnal yang ada di google scholer.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of social deixis in the film "Avengers" and its influence on character interactions, narrative development, and audience engagement. Social deixis, a linguistic phenomenon involving the use of language to establish social relationships and navigate social contexts, plays a vital role in shaping the dynamics of communication within the Avengers team. By closely examining the dialogue and language choices of the characters, this study aims to identify the types of deixis employed and explore their implications for character development and plot progression. Through a qualitative analysis of selected scenes, the findings reveal the diverse range of social deixis strategies utilized, including personal deixis, honorific deixis, politeness deixis, demonstrative deixis, and more. These linguistic choices contribute to the establishment of power dynamics, the formation of group identity, and the conveyance of emotional and interpersonal nuances. Moreover, they enhance the audience's understanding of the characters' relationships, motivations, and conflicts. This study enhances our understanding of the intricate interplay between language, social interaction, and narrative construction in the context of a popular film franchise. It provides valuable insights into the significance of social deixis in cinematic storytelling and opens avenues for further research in the field of discourse analysis, linguistics, and film studies.

Abstract

Gampong Mee Tanjong Usi is located in Mutiara Timur District, Pidie Regency, Aceh Province, and has residents whose main livelihood is as farmers. The dense population makes agricultural land scarce. Aquaponic cultivation system is an innovation offered as a solution. The Aquaponics system combines a hydroponic system and an aquaculture system. This PKM activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the “Mee Meuhase” group from Gampong Mee Tajong Usi in managing aquaponic systems, producing local food products and increasing income. The implementation method begins with observation and outreach, training and assistance in creating an Aquaponics system, application of technology as well as monitoring and evaluation of program sustainability. The fish seeds cultivated are tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) and the vegetables grown are spinach (Amaranthus sp) and pokcoy (Brassica rapa L.). As a result of the implementation of the activity, the activity went well with high enthusiasm from the participants. Education and training that assembles, manages aquaponic systems, produces environmentally friendly products, increases environmental awareness and helps increase income.

Abstract

The Islamic non-bank financial Industry (NBFI syariah) plays an important role in supporting the growth and strengthening of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The existence of NBFI syariah, such as Islamic insurance, Islamic financing, Islamic pension funds, and Islamic capital markets, is an integral part of the national Islamic financial ecosystem. This article aims to analyze the strategic contribution of NBFI syariah in supporting the development of Islamic banking through a descriptive-qualitative approach based on literature reviews and secondary data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Bank Indonesia, and other relevant institutions. The findings indicate that Islamic non-bank financial institutions expand the reach of Islamic financial services, enhance financial literacy and inclusion, and provide alternative financing and risk mitigation options in line with Islamic principles. Synergistic collaboration between Islamic banking and non-banking financial institutions is considered capable of strengthening the overall stability of the Islamic financial system. Therefore, strengthening regulations, improving institutional capacity, and product innovation are key to optimizing the role of Islamic non-bank financial institutions in promoting inclusive and sustainable Islamic banking growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the performance of Civil Servants within the Road Transport Sector of the Riau Province Transportation Service in fulfilling their duties and supporting Organizational Commitment. Employing a qualitative approach, the study involves direct observation and in-depth analysis of existing phenomena using a descriptive method. Key findings include: 1) Civil Servants' performance is generally rated as satisfactory, but falls short in optimizing adherence to Riau Governor Regulation Number 61 of 2021 due to issues such as low work discipline, inadequate competence in task completion, and ineffective inter-employee communication; 2) Competency among Civil Servants is hindered by low engagement in technical training initiatives; 3) Organizational Commitment is notably low, reflecting insufficient awareness of the significance of their roles. Additionally, suboptimal work motivation and inadequate working conditions are evident. Furthermore, the relationship between leadership and staff is characterized by inadequate guidance and motivation, posing challenges to achieving the objectives of the Road Transport Sector of the Riau Province Transportation Service.
