Abstract

This research is a research with a descriptive approach method and a type of qualitative research conducted at MTs Nurhasanah Balai Jaya. This study aims to determine how to implement accountability and transparency in the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds in 2022. The benefit of this study is to find out whether MTs Nurhasanah has implemented accountability and transparency in managing BOS funds in 2022. The data collection methods used were interviews, observations, and documentation studies. In this study, researchers interviewed several resource persons, namely: School Principal, Treasurer, Administration Staff, School Operators, Teachers and Parents. The results show that the implementation of the principles of accountability and management of BOS funds at MTs Nurhasanah Balai Jaya has been running well in accordance with the BOS 2022 technical guidelines, accountability of BOS funds is carried out every semester, but the implementation of transparency has not run well as shown by the absence of socialization about the planning and use of BOS funds to parents/guardians of students and the absence of installation on information boards regarding the realization of the use of BOS funds.

Abstract

Manajemen risiko adalah aspek krusial dalam industri asuransi, terutama bagi perusahaan yang mengelola dana tabarru seperti PT. Prudential Life Insurance Cabang Binjai. Penelitian ini menggali mendalam tentang strategi dan praktik manajemen risiko yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan ini dalam mengelola dana tabarru, yang merupakan dana yang diperoleh dari premi asuransi dan digunakan untuk membantu peserta yang mengalami musibah atau keadaan darurat. Dalam analisis ini, kami membahas metode identifikasi risiko, evaluasi risiko, serta langkah-langkah mitigasi yang diambil oleh PT. Prudential Life Insurance Cabang Binjai untuk melindungi keberlanjutan dan keberlangsungan dana tabarru. Kami juga menilai dampak kebijakan manajemen risiko terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, reputasi perusahaan, dan pertumbuhan bisnis jangka panjang. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang praktik manajemen risiko yang efektif dan relevan dalam konteks industri asuransi, memberikan panduan berharga bagi perusahaan asuransi lainnya dalam mengelola dana tabarru dan membangun kepercayaan peserta asuransi.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Risiko, Dana Tabarru, Asuransi Prudential

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy of halal tourism objects in Medan City. This study uses SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis method to evaluate the internal and external factors that affect the development of halal tourism in this city. The analysis results show that Medan City has significant strengths, such as rich cultural potential, nature tourism, accommodation and ease of communication. However, there are weaknesses such as halal services that need to be improved, service quality, and less effective promotion. Significant opportunities were also identified, including the rapidly growing halal tourism market and the potential for increased international cooperation. However, threats such as competition from similar destinations, security issues, economic fluctuations, and related policy changes need to be addressed. The results of this study indicate the need for a targeted and sustainable development strategy to capitalize on the potential of halal tourism in Medan City. Therefore, the Medan City government undertakes a strategy that involves improving service quality, effective promotion, and stronger cooperation with stakeholders. This strategy is expected to develop Medan City as an attractive and sustainable halal tourism destination.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of agents in increasing public understanding of fire insurance products at PT. Askrida Syariah Insurance. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, using primary data obtained through interviews and secondary data from important documents and previous research. The method of data collection is done by interviewing the administrative staff at PT Asuransi Askrida Syariah. Then the author collects some previous research related to the author's research, which is usually called documentation. The method of analysis that the author uses in this research is descriptive, that is, by reducing the data or summarizing important data in the research, displaying the data and concluding the research results. The result of this research is that the method used by the agent at PT. Askrida Syariah in educating the public regarding fire insurance products is by creating events, seminars and promotions from social media. Then the obstacles faced by agents are the lack of public knowledge regarding fire insurance products, and many people think that insurance is not important. The large number of competitors from other insurance companies is also an obstacle in marketing fire insurance products. However, the development of PT Askrida Syariah is very good. It can be seen from 2019 to 2021 that there will be an increase in the number of premiums and also customers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the Malaysia Shariah Gold Index (FTFBMS) and the Jakarta Islamic Index, the relationship between the Dow Jones Islamic Market Index Japan (DJIJP) and the Jakarta Islamic Index, the relationship between the Dow Jones Islamic Market Index Europe (DJIEU) and Jakarta Islamic Index, Relationship between the US Dow Jones Islamic Market Index (IMUS) and the Jakarta Islamic Index. The research method used in this research is secondary quantitative by taking weekly time series data for the period 2018-2022, the data sources used are from the websites www.investing.com and www.idx.com. This research uses vector autoregressive analysis with the Eviews 12sv application. The results of the research are: The short-term VECM estimation results show that in fact there is a significant short-term relationship of the variables that affect JII, namely DJIJP because it has a t count value that is greater than the t table. The short-term VECM estimation results show that in fact there is a significant short-term relationship of several variables that affect FTFBMS, namely the FTFBMS itself, and DJIEU because it has a calculated t value that is greater than t table. The results of the short-term VECM estimation show that in fact there is a significant short-term relationship of several variables that affect DJIJP, namely DJIJP itself, JII, DJIEU, and IMUS because they have a calculated t value that is greater than t table. The short-term VECM estimation results show that in fact there is a significant short-term relationship of the variables that affect DJIEU, namely JII and IMUS because they have a tcount value that is greater than t table. The short-term VECM estimation results show that there is no significant short-term relationship with the IMUS variable.

Abstract

The study explains the effect of Sharia financial literacy and trust on customer decisions with the aspect of religiosity in online loan applications in South Jakarta. The study uses multiple regression analysis with 2 variables (X), 1 variable (Z), and 1 variable (Y). This research was conducted to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of each variable (Sharia financial literacy and trust). The results indicate that the Sharia financial literacy variable does not have a significant effect on customer decisions. The trust variable has an effect on decisions, the religiosity variable has an effect on decisions, and the Sharia Financial Literacy variable does not affect the Religiosity variable as a moderating variable for decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze how inflation, unemployment, and government expenditure affect economic growth in Indonesia in the 2000-2022 period. To project the economy in Indonesia in the short term (next 10 years) and in the long term (next 20 years). This type of research uses quantitative methods. The data used are secondary data sourced from the official website of SEKI-BI, the Central Bureau of Statistics, the World Bank, and SIMREG (Regional Basic Data Management and Information System) from 1990 to 2022 so that the number of samples in this study was 128 samples using a purposive sampling technique to determine information. While technical data analysis uses Vector Autoregressive Analysis (VAR) and Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). Based on the results of the Impulse Response Function, we can see that the shock resulted from the previous period's GDP, the GDP Deflator, TPT and GE were very volatile and unstable in the short term, the biggest shock was found in the early period of year 1 to year 20, then the shock subsides from the mid to late period (25th year to 50th year), in the final period the shocks are still starting to stabilize.

Abstract

This research attempts to analyze problems, and solutions by looking at opportunities and challenges in implementing halal tourism destinations in the Parapat area of Lake Toba. This is in order to increase tourist visits to increase local revenue, because the large potential for halal tourism has an impact on the regional economy, especially for the Simalungun district government. The qualitative approach through the research method used is the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method. The results of this study conclude that the most influential opportunities for the advancement of tourist destinations in the Parapat Lake Toba area are implementing cashless payments so that they are practical and efficient. Seeing the progress of fintech, such as digital wallets, makes non-cash payments even more advanced. And several opportunities can be utilized for progress in halal tourism destination businesses in the Parapat Lake Toba area, Simalungun Regency, namely the growth of the tourism industry in the Parapat Lake Toba area, Simalungun Regency, is very high, the Parapat Lake Toba tourism destination has great potential for regional economic development, Cooperation between tickets tour with lodging around the Parapat Lake Toba destination, Simalungun Regency, integration with a digital transaction storage system to increase tourist visits and the government strongly supports halal-based businesses in the Parapat Lake Toba area, Simalungun. The challenge faced in implementing this halal tourism destination is that there is an understanding that halal tourism is not a large market share so that its application is less than optimal. Furthermore, the challenges faced in implementing halal tourism which are referred to in the results of the SWOT analysis are the lack of public or visitor awareness of the importance of preserving culture, art, and history.

Abstract

Islamic banking in Indonesia has grown rapidly in recent years. However, along with its development, Islamic banking also faces various risks, one of which is credit risk which can result in Non-Performing Financing (NPF) or non-performing loans. NPF is an important indicator that can affect banking stability. Therefore, it is important to control the factors that can affect the level of NPF in Islamic banks. This study aims to examine the effect of inflation, BI Rate, and exchange rates on Non-Performing Financing (NPF) in Islamic banking in Indonesia. NPF is an important indicator that can affect banking stability and inflation control, the BI Rate, and the exchange rate is the factors that can affect the level of NPF in Islamic banks. This study uses a method with a quantitative approach and with a sample of 264 and removes outliers to 141 observational samples using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The partial and simultaneous results of the research on inflation, the BI Rate, and the exchange rate on Non-Performing Financing (NPF) have a significant influence. The importance of controlling inflation, the BI Rate, and the exchange rate in managing credit risk and preventing NPFs. Inflation has an inverse effect on NPF, meaning that when inflation rises, NPF tends to fall. The BI Rate has a significant impact on a bank’s ability to manage credit and credit risk, the higher the BI Rate, the greater the possibility of an NPF. Furthermore, changes in the exchange rate can affect the credit risk that must be borne by banks in managing credit, the lower the exchange rate, the greater the possibility of an NPF.

Abstract

Unit link adalah suatu produk yang menggabungkan antara proteksi dengan investasi. Perusahaan asuransi berbasis syariah yang memiliki produk baru unit link, dalam praktiknya menggunakan akad wakalah bil ujrah. Dalam akad ini nasabah bertindak sebagai muwakkil yang memberikan wewenang kepada perusahaan untuk mewakili kepentingannya dengan imbalan pemberian ujrah (upah) selama batas waktu tertentu dan terdapat larangan yang tidak boleh dilakukan perusahaan asuransi sebagai wakil yaitu tidak berhak memperoleh hasil dari investasi karena akad yang digunakan adalah wakalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan serta dampak akad Wakalah Bil Ujrah pada pengelolaan produk asuransi unit link di Prudential Syariaah cabang Binjai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian literature review yaitu mengumpulkan informasi atau karya tulis yang bersifat kepustakaan. Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan dengan cara menelaah dari beberapa sumber tertulis yaitu jurnal, buku, dan sumber - sumber lainnya yang tentunya sesuai dengan objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan akad Wakalah Bil Ujrah pada pengelolaan produk asuransi unit link selain nasabah mendapatkan manfaatnya, nasabah juga dapat menolong sesama nasabah lain yang terjadi risiko sakit. Dampak penerapan akad wakalah bil ujrah untuk pengelolaan produk asuransi unit link juga memberikan keuntungan bagi nasabah dan perusahaan sebab nasabah yang tidak mengalami klaim selama pembayaran premi, maka premi tersebut akan dikembalikan berupa surplus sharing, sehingga perusahaan tidak mempunyai beban atas premi nasabah yang tidak mengalami klaim.
