Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged various sectors, including non-formal education, to utilize digital technology as a medium for improving services and strengthening institutional branding. According to APJII data in 2024, 79.5% of Indonesia's population has accessed the internet, making the use of websites as an information medium increasingly important for training and course institutions (LKP). LKP Berlian Education continues to face challenges in providing adequate digital facilities, including the absence of a website as a platform for publication and information services. This community service program aims to enhance the competencies of LKP participants in creating and managing websites as an effort to strengthen branding and deliver information quickly, accurately, and online. The implementation methods include technical guidance, training, mentoring, and forum group discussions. Evaluation was conducted through pretest and posttest using a nominal scale, as well as a service satisfaction questionnaire using a Likert scale. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ abilities to understand basic website concepts, use the WordPress CMS, and manage digital content. Overall, this community service activity has proven effective in improving the digital competencies of LKP Berlian Education participants, particularly in the creation and management of websites as a means of institutional branding and information services

Abstract

Palu Bay, which is developed as a tourism area, is in the ring of fire with a history of repeated disasters. This tourism was able to increase tourist visits to the city of Palu. However, the 2018 earthquake and tsunami resulted in a decrease in tourist visits to the city of Palu. In addition to determining the interaction patterns of the Palu city population, this study tries to pinpoint the key factors the government used to transform Palu Bay into a popular tourist destination. This is accomplished by identifying the key factors that make Palu Bay a popular tourist destination and figuring out how to boost tourism there in the wake of the 2018 earthquake and tsunami disaster. Schutz analysis was employed with post-positivist paradigm and transcendental phenomenology approach. Triangulation was used to collect data, while content analysis was used to process it.Key factors used by the local government of Palu City in developing Palu Bay as a tourism area included: 1. The potential of Palu Bay's natural resources with its natural beauty and unique five-dimensional city (sea, bay, valley, mountain and river); 2. Strategic location on the coast of Palu city with easy access for tourists, 3. Market share of domestic and international tourists; 4. Of the nine existing sub-sectors, Palu Bay has the potential to become the mainstay sector of the city of Palu to support the regional economy because the agricultural, mining, fisheries, industrial, housing and financial sectors lack the potential to be the mainstay sector. The development of tourism in the Palu Bay area is carried out by prioritizing disaster emergency mitigation and response with proper governance and principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). Collaborative Multidimensional reconstruction of the private sector, local communities and local governments (triple BCG) as well as patterns of disaster mitigation and emergency response to stimulate tourism in the Palu bay area affected by the 2018 earthquake and tsunami.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of the pedagogical Deep Learning (DL) approach, specifically the Meaningful, Mindful, and Joyful (MMJ) framework, within the traditional educational system of Indonesian pesantren. The aim is to analyze the compatibility, challenges, and operationalization of DL to enhance learning outcomes and prepare students for the demands of the digital era. A qualitative case study approach was employed at pesantren Darunnajah in Bogor, involving in-depth interviews with 12 participants (3 teachers, 6 students, and 3 administrators), observations, and document analysis. The findings highlight a strong theoretical alignment between DL and pesantren's core educational values, such as Fahm (deep comprehension), Ijtihad (critical reasoning), and Adab (moral development). Empirically, teachers reported improved student engagement and reflective learning practices, with one educator noting, "The MMJ framework helps students connect religious lessons to their daily lives, making learning more relevant." However, the study identifies key challenges, including infrastructure gaps, diverse levels of digital literacy, and the need to balance digital innovation with the preservation of moral guidance. Strategies such as blended learning models and focused teacher training are recommended. The integration of DL within pesantren represents a strategic pedagogical evolution, empowering students to develop both religious and modern competencies. Future research should focus on the longitudinal impacts of DL on student outcomes.

Abstract

Kata kunci: Transformer, GRU, LSTM, TF-IDF, word embedding, bag of word..

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 03 Baras on pantun (traditional Malay poetry) material through the implementation of the make a match learning model. The study was motivated by the low cognitive absorption among students, attributed to several factors, including inadequate instructional content delivery and the use of inappropriate learning models. This classroom action research (CAR) was conducted over two cycles. Cycle I was implemented on May 17, 2023, while Cycle II was carried out on June 7, 2023. The pre-cycle results indicated that the classical learning mastery rate reached only 38.10%. In Cycle I, an improvement was observed, with the classical learning mastery rate rising to 50.00%. In Cycle II, student learning outcomes further improved to 78.57%. These findings demonstrate that the make a match learning model, when applied to Indonesian Language instruction—particularly in the context of pantun material—is effective in enhancing student learning outcomes, enabling students to complete tasks more readily through collaborative group work.

Abstract

Law that regulates human activities in daily life is one of the essential aspects to be studied, including Islamic law. This is particularly relevant for students of the Islamic Religious Education Program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Alauddin Makassar, who study fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), especially jinayah (crime), and are therefore considered to have sufficient understanding and are expected to practice this knowledge in the form of observable behavior. This study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods within a single study to obtain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the research phenomenon. The quantitative data were collected from questionnaires, while the qualitative data were derived from interview results and relevant literature related to the research focus. The findings indicate that students’ practice of their knowledge falls within the moderate category, with a percentage of 66.67%. The effectiveness of law enforcement depends on legal norms, legal structures, and legal awareness. In this context, however, legal awareness becomes the primary aspect, as with legal awareness students are able to behave properly without engaging in actions that contradict or violate the law. Therefore, within the context of Islamic law, public awareness, more specifically students’ awareness, serves as the key factor determining whether the law operates effectively or not. In addition, in the context of Islamic education, an individual’s knowledge plays a significant role in shaping legal awareness.
