Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan dasar, terutama terhadap kebiasaan anak dalam menggunakan gawai. Meskipun teknologi membuka peluang pembelajaran yang luas, penggunaannya masih didominasi oleh aktivitas konsumtif tanpa arah yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan digital anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola penggunaan gawai oleh siswa SD Negeri 1 Bocek serta mengidentifikasi strategi pemberdayaan keterampilan digital yang berlandaskan nilai budaya lokal. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus pada sekolah dasar yang memiliki karakter budaya pedesaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa menggunakan gawai untuk hiburan, seperti menonton YouTube (konten lokal, pertunjukan Bantengan, tari Sanduk, pencak silat dan kuda monel) serta bermain game daring (Roblox, Block Blast, Sakura School Simulator). Meskipun aktivitas digital bersifat konsumtif, muncul potensi kreatif dalam pembuatan konten digital sederhana. Peran keluarga dan sekolah masih terbatas pada pengawasan dasar tanpa panduan khusus untuk pengembangan keterampilan digital anak. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pemberdayaan digital yang kontekstual melalui integrasi nilai budaya lokal sebagai filter moral dan sumber inspirasi belajar. Integrasi tersebut diharapkan mampu membentuk karakter digital anak yang bijak, kreatif, dan beridentitas budaya, serta menjadi dasar pengembangan model kolaboratif keluarga dan sekolah berbasis budaya lokal guna mendukung literasi digital kontekstual di tingkat pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Early childhood education must be designed meaningfully and child-centered to foster creative thinking as a fundamental 21st-century competency. Creative thinking in early childhood is reflected in children’s capacity to generate diverse, flexible, and original ideas, as well as to develop concepts grounded in their learning experiences. The Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is considered relevant for nurturing this competency, as it engages children actively in learning through contextual, project-based activities. When integrated with the Deep Learning approach, instruction extends beyond activity completion to encompass meaning-making, experiential reflection, and purposeful understanding of learning objectives. This study aims to analyze and synthesize findings from prior research on the implementation of the Project Based Learning model integrated with Deep Learning in developing creative thinking ability in early childhood. A qualitative approach employing a literature review method was applied, examining 20 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025. The findings reveal that Project Based Learning encourages children to develop ideational fluency, cognitive flexibility, and simple problem-solving skills through meaningful learning experiences. The Deep Learning approach strengthens children’s cognitive processes by emphasizing comprehension, reflection, and the connection between learning experiences and generated ideas. The integration of both approaches has been shown to create learning environments that are not oriented toward a single correct answer, but instead accommodate the diversity of children’s thinking.

Abstract

General Background Character education in early childhood is a critical foundation for developing prosocial behavior, particularly helping behavior as part of social-emotional development. Specific Background In Indonesian early childhood education settings, many children aged 4–5 years still demonstrate low initiative in sharing, cooperating, and assisting peers, partly due to the absence of structured and systematic learning media. Knowledge Gap Although the Indonesia Heritage Foundation (IHF) 9 Character Pillars Book is widely recognized in practice, empirical studies focusing on its use as a single, structured medium to instill the value of helping others remain limited. Aims This study aims to analyze the implementation process and outcomes of using the IHF 9 Character Pillars Book to cultivate helping behavior among Group A children aged 4–5 years in a formal early childhood education context. Results Using a descriptive qualitative case study approach at RA Al-Falah Tuban, the findings indicate that staged implementation of the IHF book—integrated into daily learning activities—was associated with observable improvements in children’s willingness to help, share, and participate in cooperative tasks, with the proportion of children demonstrating spontaneous helping behavior increasing from initial observations to the end of the intervention period. Novelty This study provides in-depth evidence on the use of a standardized character education book as a focused medium for instilling helping values in early childhood. Implications The findings offer a practical, structured model for teachers to integrate story-based character education into routine classroom practices, while highlighting the importance of consistency between school and home environments.Highlights: Staged classroom integration of character storybooks supported observable growth in children’s prosocial actions. Teacher-guided reflection and role play facilitated the internalization of care and cooperation values. Consistency between educational settings and home practices emerged as a key supporting condition. Abstract

This study explores the integration of AutoProctor-enabled Google Forms to enhance English listening comprehension in large EFL classrooms. The research aims to address challenges of academic integrity and scalability faced by university instructors in technology-limited contexts. Employing a descriptive mixed-method design, data were collected from 95 undergraduate students and one lecturer through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The results indicate that the integration of AutoProctor in listening activities improved students’ motivation, confidence, and comprehension, while also ensuring a fair testing environment through automated proctoring features. Participants appreciated the platform’s automated grading, immediacy of feedback, and accessibility for independent practice. However, technical limitations such as unstable connectivity and restricted access to premium features occasionally constrained learning efficiency. The study highlights that AutoProctor-based Google Forms constitute a viable and integrity-oriented innovation for large-scale English learning, supporting both learner autonomy and sustainable digital pedagogy. The findings also offer implications for the broader use of AI-assisted assessment in EFL instruction.

Abstract

Objective: This study analyzes the implementation of Kaizen in building an industrial work culture in Vocational High Schools (SMK), across three dimensions: training, habituation, and the reward and punishment system. Methods: A qualitative multiple-case embedded design was employed at two purposively selected sites, namely SMKN 2 Surabaya which has implemented the T-TEP program since 2014 and SMKN 1 Mojokerto which has implemented the N-KGTS program since 2022. The research was conducted over five months, from October 2025 to February 2026. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis, and analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña interactive model through first-cycle coding (initial coding) and second-cycle coding (pattern coding), followed by within-case and cross-case analyses. Results: Findings reveal that Kaizen training is sustained through multi-layered institutionalization covering formal legality, curricular integration, budget allocation, and industry-based instructor certification. Habituation builds student work character through three synergistic pillars of environmental engineering, formal institutional structures, and daily procedural routines that progressively shift internalization from compliance toward cultural ownership. A reward and punishment system grounded in a corrective-educative philosophy, reinforced through differentiated academic and industry recognition, sustains work culture consistency beyond momentary compliance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas multimedia interaktif berbasis Case Based Learning (CBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan analisis dan penyusunan menu gizi seimbang siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengacu pada tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan. Sumber data diperoleh dari database Google Scholar, Scopus, dan ERIC dengan rentang tahun 2016–2025. Hasil penelusuran awal diperoleh 320 artikel, kemudian melalui proses seleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi diperoleh 22 artikel yang dianalisis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara mengelompokkan dan mensintesis temuan penelitian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterlibatan, dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Sementara itu, Case Based Learning terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan analisis dan pemecahan masalah siswa. Integrasi kedua pendekatan tersebut memberikan hasil yang lebih optimal dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, kontekstual, dan bermakna. Dalam konteks pembelajaran gizi, pendekatan ini juga membantu siswa memahami konsep gizi seimbang serta menyusun menu makanan secara aplikatif. Dengan demikian, multimedia interaktif berbasis CBL dapat menjadi inovasi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren, efektivitas, dan tantangan integrasi Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Learning Management System (LMS) dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Sumber data diperoleh dari artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan pada rentang tahun 2018–2025 melalui basis data Google Scholar, Scopus, dan jurnal nasional terindeks SINTA. Seleksi artikel dilakukan menggunakan metode PRISMA dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang ketat, sehingga diperoleh 10 artikel yang dianalisis secara mendalam. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi pola, tren penggunaan platform, serta dampak implementasi PBL berbantuan LMS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa platform LMS seperti Edmodo, Chamilo, dan LMS berbasis e-modul paling banyak digunakan dalam mendukung pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Integrasi PBL dan LMS terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, literasi sains, serta keterampilan abad ke-21 lainnya seperti kolaborasi dan komunikasi. Namun demikian, implementasi masih menghadapi kendala berupa kesiapan guru, literasi digital siswa, dan keterbatasan infrastruktur. Dengan demikian, integrasi PBL berbantuan LMS memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sains di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Fun Math Adventure media in developing early childhood numeracy and problem-solving skills through a phenomenological qualitative approach. Data were collected through participatory observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The credibility of the data was strengthened through technique triangulation and member checking with teachers to ensure the consistency and accuracy of the findings. The results indicate that Fun Math Adventure enhances children’s focus, persistence, and engagement in numeracy activities, while also encouraging the emergence of independent problem-solving strategies. The digital environment further enriches social interactions by facilitating collaborative discussions and shared exploration among children. In addition, the use of this media provides teachers with opportunities to design more adaptive, varied, and child-centered learning experiences. The study contributes new insights into the effective integration of play-based learning and digital media in early childhood education, and offers practical implications for teachers implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Background: The rapid transformation of education in the Society 5.0 era requires teachers to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into pedagogical practices while maintaining professional and ethical standards. In Mojokerto’s Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT), teachers face challenges such as digital anxiety, administrative burdens, and limited managerial support, which hinder their ability to adapt to AI-driven learning environments. Purpose: This study investigates the influence of AI literacy, coaching, and work motivation on teacher professionalism in SDIT schools across Mojokerto, both individually and collectively Method: Employing a quantitative causal design, the research involved 114 SDIT teachers selected through total sampling. Data were collected using validated Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed with multiple linear regression via SPSS, supported by classical assumption tests to ensure model reliability. Findings: Results demonstrate that AI literacy, coaching, and work motivation significantly and simultaneously affect teacher professionalism (F-value = 28.452; Sig < 0.001). Among these, work motivation emerged as the most dominant predictor. The findings underscore the necessity of a holistic approach that combines technological proficiency, managerial empowerment through coaching, and psychological reinforcement via motivation to enhance teacher professionalism in Islamic elementary education.

Abstract

Abstract: This study presents a systematic literature review examining the effectiveness of Management Information Systems (MIS) in improving the efficiency and accountability of elementary school management. The review followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. A structured search across Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar identified 186 records. After duplicate removal, screening, and eligibility assessment, 24 empirical studies published between 2015 and 2025 were included. The findings indicate that MIS implementation consistently enhances administrative efficiency, improves data accuracy, accelerates reporting processes, and strengthens managerial accountability. Integrated MIS platforms were associated with streamlined workflows, reduced documentation redundancy, and improved institutional transparency. However, the effectiveness of MIS adoption remains influenced by system integration, technological infrastructure, digital literacy, leadership support, and organisational readiness. Persistent barriers include limited internet connectivity, inadequate hardware, user competency gaps, and resistance to technological change. Overall, MIS functions as a strategic enabler of evidence-based governance in elementary education. Sustainable benefits require integrated system design, infrastructure readiness, and continuous capacity-building initiatives. Abstrak: Penelitian ini menyajikan tinjauan pustaka secara sistematis yang mengkaji efektivitas Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan akuntabilitas pengelolaan sekolah dasar. Tinjauan ini mengikuti pedoman PRISMA 2020. Pencarian terstruktur di Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, dan Google Scholar mengidentifikasi 186 artikel. Setelah proses seleksi duplikat, penyaringan, dan penilaian kelayakan, 24 studi empiris yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2015 dan 2025 digunakan dalam proses analisis. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) secara konsisten meningkatkan efisiensi administratif, memperbaiki akurasi data, mempercepat proses pelaporan, dan memperkuat akuntabilitas manajerial. Platform SIM terintegrasi dikaitkan dengan alur kerja yang lebih efisien, pengurangan redundansi dokumentasi, dan peningkatan transparansi kelembagaan. Namun, efektivitas penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) tetap dipengaruhi oleh integrasi sistem, infrastruktur teknologi, literasi digital, dukungan kepemimpinan, dan kesiapan organisasi. Hambatan yang terus berlanjut meliputi konektivitas internet yang terbatas, perangkat keras yang tidak memadai, kesenjangan kompetensi pengguna, serta penolakan terhadap perubahan teknologi. Secara keseluruhan, SIM berfungsi sebagai pendorong strategis bagi tata kelola berbasis bukti di bidang pendidikan dasar. Untuk memperoleh manfaat yang berkelanjutan, diperlukan desain sistem yang terintegrasi, kesiapan infrastruktur, serta inisiatif pengembangan kapasitas yang berkelanjutan.
