Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penerapan model Learning Cycle 5E pada materi Getaran Harmonis di kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi-Eksperimen dengan desain Post-test Only, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis (post-test) yang dibuat sesuai dengan aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis menurut Ennis. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil inferensial dari data pada penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa kedua kelas terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh bahwa persentase rata-rata aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 73,61 % dengan kategori tinggi sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh persentase sebesar 60,00% dengan kategori sedang. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Learning Cycle 5E dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi getaran harmonis di kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru

Abstract

Abstract: The learning devices developed are learning devices based on the cooperative type teams games tournament on solar system material in improving cognitive learning results of VII grade junior high school students, consisting of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD). The purpose of this research was to design, develop, and validate learning devices based on the cooperative model type teams games tournament on solar system material. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model design. The research instrument used was the RPP and LKPD’ validation assessment sheets which was used by the validators to assess learning devices. Data analysis in this research used descriptive analysis, by calculating the validity score of each learning indicator. Based on the results of the validity data analysis, the average value of the validity of the RPP for meeting 1, meeting 2, and meeting 3 is 3.39, 3.42, and 3.4 with a very high category. The average validity of the LKPD components of solar system, planetary movement, and rotation, revolution, & eclipses is 3.27, 3.3 and 3.34 with a very high category, so that the overall average of learning devices is 3.35 with a very high category. Thus, the learning devices based on the cooperative model type teams games tournament were declared valid and suitable for use in solar system material in improving cognitive learning results of VII grade junior high school students.Keyword: Learning Devices, Cooperative Model Type Teams Games Tournament, Solar System Material, Cognitive Learning Results.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan kuis liveworksheet untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Desain yang digunakan yaitu quasi eksperimen: Posttest only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Tempuling tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dengan sampel berjumlah 46 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 24 siswa dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 22 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa 7 soal tes pilihan ganda pemahaman konsep materi getaran dan gelombang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif melalui nilai rata-rata siswa dan analisis inferensial melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol dan terdapat perbedaan signifikan pemahaman konsep siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan kuis liveworksheet dengan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional

Abstract

This research aimed to develop high order thinking skills  workheet in momentum, impulse, and collision topic for senior high school This type of research is Research and Development  follow 4D models, includes : define, design, develop and disseminate. Data collection instruments used validation sheets for given to 5 validator, Aspects assessed include graphic, presentation, language, and the contents of workheet. Based on the result of data analysis showed that all aspects got average score in the range of 3.4 to 4 with categories of  very high. Thus, high order thinking skills was valid. For the purposes of testing the worksheet is given on 68 students. to measure the effectiveness of worksheet used  Higher Level Thinking Ability Test that amounts to 12 items. Based on the result of data analysis indicate, There is difference of higher order thinking skill of students who use HOTS worksheet than who are not use HOTS worksheet, where the average Higher Order Thinking Skill on students who use HOTS worksheet higher

Abstract

Siswa yang dapat bersaing dan mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi abad 21 adalah siswa yang memiliki kemampuan diantaranya berpikir tingkat tinggi dan berpikir kreatif, sehingga siswa dapat melatih kemampuan berpikirnya untuk berpikir dan menalar mencari solusi untuk menjawab permasalahan rumit yang akan datang. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kemampuan kognitif dalam indikator mencipta. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut perlu diterapakan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan berorientasi kepada high order thinking skills salah satu pembelajarannya ialah pembelajaran berbasis proyek STEM (Pjbl-STEM). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa pada indikator mencipta dengan Pjbl-STEM. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian non equivalent post-test only control group. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara memberikan tes dengan instrumen penelitian berupa soal kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada indikator mencipta. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan rata-rata kelas dengan menerapkan Pjbl-STEM dan kelas yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional bernilai positif.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of Science and Technology has led the word to the industrial revolution 4.0 which requires a teacher to be able to keep up with the times. In addition, the lack of use of innovative and interesting leanring tools for students, so it is necessary to develop practical and interesting teaching materials based on scientific investigation. Thare are also learning tools used in the form of lesson plans and LKPD sheets. This study aims to develop scientific investigation-based learning tools to train science process skills on static fluid material for class XI SMA. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using a modified ADDIE model consisting of only 3 stages, namely the analysis, design and development stages. The types of date obtained in this study are quantitative date in the form of validity values and learning tools and qualitative date obtained form criticism and suggestions from the validator. The date collection instrument used is in the form of a learning device sheet. The tade were alalyzed descriptively to determine the validity of the learning device using the Likert Scale formula. The results of the validation assessment from the validator were alalyzed on each assessment indicator so that the level of validity of ecach learning device was obtained. Validation was carried out 2 times, the results of the validation of I learning device contained an average ratingof less than 3 and was invalid. Then the learning device is repaired according ti the suggestions for improvement. The results of the second validation of the learning device as a whone are in the good category and are declared valid. The average result of the II RPP validation as as whole is 3,59, the average result of the II LKPD validation as a whole is 3,47. So it can be concluded that from the assessment scores that have been described, scientific investigation-based learning tools to practice science process skills on static fluid material for class XI SMA are valid and svitable for use in the physics learning process.Key words: Device Learning, Scientific Investigation, Static Fluid.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was carried out with the aim of determining cognitive learningoutcomes of students who apply the Game Based Learning (GBL) learning model usingoodlu, especially in the learning material of Global Warming Symptoms in class X SMA.Quasi-experimentation is a type of research used with the Posstest Only NonequvalentControl Group Design design. The population used was all students of class X SMA Negeri1 Tanah Putih as many as 150 people, with research samples, namely class X1 as a controlclass and class X5 as an experimental class. The instrument used to collect data is acognitive learning outcome test of class X students on Global Warming symptom materialwhich is then analyzed descriptively and inferentially. This study showed the results thatthe cognitive learning outcomes of students between the two classes had differences, wherestudents who were in the experimental class obtained higher cognitive learning outcomescompared to students in the control class, and also obtained the results that the GameBased Learning (GBL) learning model using oodlu was effectively used in improving thecognitive learning outcomes of class X SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Putih students on the materialSymptoms of Global Warming.Keywords: Game Based Learning Model, Oodlu, Cognitive Learning Outcomes, Symptoms ofGlobal Warming.

Abstract

Abstract : One of the problems facing education today is that the ability of students to solve problems when working on questions is still very low. Students still have difficulty solving problems and steps to solve problems given in the form of questions. Students' problem-solving abilities can be trained and improved by carrying out learning activities that invite students to explore, investigate, find problems and solve problems. One of the learning models that can develop these abilities is the Problem Base Learning learning model. This study aims to analyze students' physics problem-solving abilities in Sound Wave material after the application of the problem base learning learning model. The type of research used was the Pre-Experimental Design with the One Shoot Case Study design, namely a group was given treatment in the form of applying the PBL learning model and then the results were observed. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The sample in this study were students of SMAN 1 Ukui with class XI MIPA 2 as the experimental class. The research data was collected by giving a test in the form of a posttest which totaled 3 questions which were analyzed descriptively for each indicator. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that students' absorption after learning with the PBL model was already in the good category because most students were able to complete the problem-solving ability test successfully.Keywords: Problem Solving, PBL model, Sound Waves.

Abstract

The use of Vascak physics animation learning media aims to find out students' understanding of concepts by using Vascak physics animation learning media on optical instruments class XI SMA Negeri 3 Bangko Pusako. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with pretest posttest, nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of an experimental class and a control class which were determined randomly from homogeneous data. The data is determined through tests that are arranged based on seven indicators of understanding the concept. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially to find out the categories of students' conceptual understanding explanations. the results of the study show that the average understanding of students' concepts is higher than the class that applies conventional learning. This is shown in the experimental class the average percentage of students' understanding of the concept reached 77.6% and 58.4% in the control class. Thus, the use of Vascak physics animation learning media is effective in increasing students' conceptual understanding of optical instruments for class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Bangko Pusako.

Abstract

A graph is a type of representation that is useful in summarizing data, and processing and interpreting new information from complex data. One of the reasons why it is important to understand graphical representation is because graphs can provide quantitative information that is easy to understand. Kinematics is the science of dealing with the movement of an object. Learning can not be separated from pictures and graphics. This study aims to see the initial ability of prospective physics teacher students in interpreting graphs. This mapping is useful for making policy plans for lecturers in planning future physics lessons. This type of research is descriptive research involving 79 respondents. Data collection is done by giving a graph interpretation ability test which consists of 3 indicators, namely graphs interpretation to mathematics, graphs interpretation to descriptions, and graph interpretation to images. From the results of data analysis using descriptive statistics, it was found that the student's ability to interpret graphs was in a low category. This gives information to lecturers that training and strengthening graphic interpretation skills still need to be a concern
