Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)  in the revision of the Sorong Regency Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) for 2012-2032. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to achieve two objectives: (a) Provide a comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon being studied, and (b) be sensitive in collecting descriptive qualitative information while maintaining the unity of the research object, which means the data in the case study is studied thoroughly. The results of the research show that (a) In the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) in the 2012-2032 Revision of the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) of Sorong Regency, it was identified that there were 8 KRP Spatial Structure Plans and 6 Spatial Patterns that had the potential to influence environmental conditions, based on analysis of the impact of sustainable development issues on spatial planning policies; (b) The results of the analysis regarding the influence of sustainable development issues on policies, plans and programs show that of the 9 KRPs analyzed, only 3 items require a study of SEA content, while the other 6 items do not require a study of SEA content. In addition, of the 6 Spatial Patterns in the KRP, all require a study of SEA content; and (c) The purpose of the alternative formulation is to agree on improvements to the KRP based on the results of the alternative formulation, supporting follow-up steps will be formulated as a result of the implementation of the KRP.

Abstract

Sorong Regency is inhabited by around 188,6779 people in West Papua Province. At this time, Sorong Regency is starting to develop infrastructure to support economic activities in Sorong actively. It has become one of the districts focused on development in the eastern part of Indonesia, with examples of infrastructure projects including the improvement and creation of several roads, bridges, irrigation and the construction of Sorong Special Economic Zones (SES). This research aims to determine the sustainable infrastructure development of Sorong Regency, especially in the Aimas, Mariat, Mayamuk, and Salawati Districts based on environmental and technological criteria. The research method used is Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) with the Rapinfra (Rapid Appraisal of Infrastructure) method. The results of the research regarding the status of infrastructure development in the Aimas District area with an index value of 48.74% and Mariyat District with an index value of 58.92% in terms of environmental criteria are considered less sustainable. In comparison Mayamuk District with an index value of 68.56% and Salawati District with an index value of 60.00% are considered sufficient. Meanwhile, in terms of technological criteria, the Aimas District with an index value of 65.07% and the Mariyat District with an index value of 60.22% are considered not or not yet sustainable; meanwhile, the Mayamuk District area with an index value of 84.64% and the Salawati District with an index value of 91.55 are considered to be quite sustainable.

Abstract

This article examines and analyzes political communication strategies in legislative elections in East Kalimantan province using an ethnicity approach and the implementation of the Legislative election system according to Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning general elections. The research method used is the normative legal research method. The results of this research show that the communication strategy implemented by the legislative branch has been successful in its main form, generally in its form, namely focusing on the aspects of communication, mediation, competition/issue, and khailaiyaik saisairain. This fulfills the four components of kaimpaiye communication, namely; communicator, competitor, mediation of audience data. The factors that influence the success of the legislative pair's success include the ability to self-image, the player's ability to socialize with family/friends, the support group, the availability of the campaign, the performance of the legislative election and the success of the candidate's election. Furthermore, the implementation of Law Number 7 of 2017 in the 2019 elections in East Kalimantan, especially Samarinda City, the election organizers have implemented it in accordance with the Election Law.

Abstract

Communicating activities in everyday life must pay attention to aspects such as the interlocutor, the context of the conversation, and the place and time of the speaking activity. To make sentences effective and efficient, speakers can use deixis in communicating. Deixis is a word that moves depending on who is speaking and the context of the conversation. The use of deixis can be helpful in direct or verbal and indirect or written communication activities. Examples of indirect communication can be realized in literary works like novels. The researcher chose the novel Muara Rasa as the subject in connection with the research to be conducted. The research objective is to describe the types, forms, and functions of persona deixis used in the Muara Rasa novel by Devania Annesya and the use of persona deixis in the novel “Muara Rasa by Devania Annesya learning Indonesian in junior high school class IX. The data in this study are dialogues containing persona deixis in the novel Muara Rasa by Devania Annesya, which was published in December 2015 with 186 pages. The data analysis technique used in this research is the matching method. Based on the research that researchers have done in the novel Muara Rasa. Three types of personal deixis are used in the novel Muara Rasa: the first-person deixis, the second-person deixis, and the third-person deixis. Judging from its shape, the form of persona deixis found in the novel Muara Rasa, is the first single form of persona deixis, namely the form of me, with 244 uses. The form of the first persona deixis is plural, i.e., our form has 40 usages, and ours has 13 usages. The form of the second persona deixis is singular, the form of you as many as 179 uses. The second form of persona deixis is plural; your form has 27 uses. The form of third person singular deixis is the form of dia as many as 57

Abstract

Timely positive feedback to students pursuing a Ph.D. program motivates completion.  Drawing upon Skinner's Reinforcement theory and Lakoff and Johnson's Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT), this study aimed at uncovering metaphors employed in feedback practices by exploring the linguistic expressions of supervisors and peers, which encouraged students to complete their Ph.D. studies in Australia. The methodology employed the use of a semi-structured interview to delve into the lived experiences of two Indonesian Ph.D. students (currently EFL lecturers) during their studies in Australia. The results that the use of positive expressions from supervisors and peers strongly motivated the students to complete their Ph.D. programs. The four types of expressions used served to praise, give hope, give direction as feedback to support completion, and reminders to keep the student on track. The following expressions were commonly used to motivate completion: "Do not worry, mate, you will get there," and "Wow, it's great work! I understand it is not easy to write academically in such good English, but you did." These expressions metaphorically imply that:  "PhD study is a journey," and "Work speaks louder than words." These findings suggest that positive verbal feedback from supervisors' and peers' can motivate PhD students' completion.

Abstract

Semarang city, as a metropolitan city, has not escaped the development of online transportation. There are several online transportation that are often used, namely Gojek, Grab and Maxim. The existence of online transportation can provide additional choices of transportation modes that can be used. Choosing online transportation to carry out daily activities cannot be separated from the push and pull factors for each individual which are definitely different. Therefore, this research aims to determine the factors that influence Semarang University students' preferences for using online transportation. This research was conducted using quantitative methods and multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Overall internal factors influence USM students' preferences in using online transportation, namely (0.720) or 72%. However, the main factors that influence this are feelings of stress, difficulty getting parking and not having a private vehicle. Meanwhile, external factors as a whole influence USM students' preferences for using online transportation, namely (0.680) or 68%. The main factors that influence this are punctuality and ease of using online transportation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak metode pengajaran terhadap prestasi siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMPN Kabupaten Tebo, Indonesia. Enam sekolah menengah pertama dengan status negeri, yakni: SMPN 01, SMPN 10, SMPN 22, SMPN 24, SMPN 28, dan SMPN 46 sebagai sampel. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 418 kuesioner diberikan kepada responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Pada bagian analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif berbantu SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pengajaran ceramah paling banyak digunakan oleh guru dibandingkan yang lain (44,6%). Hasil penelitian juga mengungkapkan bahwa 31,58% siswa yang menjawab mengatakanmereka tidak mengetahui metode guru yang sebenarnyadalam mengajar mereka. Penelitian ini hanya mencakup SMP berstatus negeri yang berada di Kabupaten Tebo, provinsi Jambi, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini tidak dapat digeneralisasikan untuk tingkatan yang lebih luas. Disarankan untuk penelitian berikutnya mengambil responden dalam lingkup yang lebih besar seperti provinsi, ataupun negara. Manfaat penelitian ini membantu Kementerian Pendidikan yang bertanggung jawab pada pendidikan menengah dan semua pemangku kepentingan untuk memahami realitas keadaan pendidikan menengah di wilayah studi untuk meminimalisir masalah tersebut. Selain itu, penelitian ini dapat direplikasi di wilayah studi lain yang memiliki karakteristik serupa.

Abstract

Dalam menentukan kerusakan jalan dibutuhkan pemeriksaan kinerja fungsional jalan dengan menggunakan metode yang dikeluarkan oleh Bina Marga, metode ini adalah sistem penilaian kondisi perkerasan jalan berdasarkan dengan pengamatan visual dan dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dalam usaha pemeliharaan SDI (Surface Distress Index). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi kerusakan jalan berdasarkan metode SDI (Surface Distress Index). Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh adalah kondisi jalan yang baik yaitu 6,3 km pada arah normal dan 4,2 km pada arah opposite, kondisi jalan sedang yaitu 2,9 km pada arah normal dan 700 m pada arah opposite, kondisi jalan rusak ringan yaitu 400 m pada arah normal dan 100 m pada arah opposite, kondisi jalan rusak berat 700 m pada arah normal dan 0 m pada arah opposite dan jalan cor beton sepanjang 700 m. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari tingkat kerusakan jalan yang menggabungkan antara ruas jalan arah normal dan ruas jalan arah opposite Kabupaten Sorong dari Tugu Pawbili s/d SP2 Sta 0+000 – 11+000 yang menjadi objek penelitian terdapat 4 jenis kondisi jalan berdasarkan metode SDI (Surface Distress Index) yaitu kondisi baik sebesar 66%, kondisi sedang 23%, kondisi rusak ringan sebesar 3%, kondisi rusak berat sebesar 4% dan jalan cor beton sebesar 4%.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a review of the effect locus of control and organizational commitment on whistleblowing intention . The research object in this study was in the State Financial Controller (BPKP) West of Sulawesi. Total population was 98 auditors and the technique of determining the sample uses simple random sampling and the sample is choosen randomly regardless of the level in the member of the population with a total sample of 78 respondents. The data were analyzed using moderated regression analysis (MRA) by means of SPSS version 26 software. The results of the research indicate that locus of control has a positive and significant effect on whistleblowing intention and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on whistleblowing intention. Keywords : locus of control, organizational commitment, Auditor’s intention, whistleblowingABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan ulasan pengaruh profesionalisme dan komitmen organisasi terhadap intensi auditor melakukan whistleblowing. Objek penelitian adalah auditor Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan Perwakilan Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Populasi sebanyak 97 auditor. Penentuan sampel teknik simple random sampling, yaitu penelitian yang pengambilan sampel bersumber dari anggota populasi yang dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata (tingkatan) dalam anggota populasi tersebut dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 78 responden. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan dengan analisis data menggunakan moderated regression analysis (MRA) dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 26.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme berpengauh positif dan signifikan terhadap intensi auditor melakukan whistleblowing dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap intensi auditor melakukan whistleblowing.

Abstract

Proses tempering merupakan  proses pemanasan kembali baja yang sudah dilakukan hardening dan quenching. Penelitian kali ini memiliki rumusan masalah tentang bagaimana dilakukan pengujian heat treatment dengan variable  tempering yang berbeda, dampak terhadap struktur mikro dan kekerasan, serta pengaruh media pendinginan. Tujuan dari dilakukan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses mana yang memberikan hasil terbaik setelah dilakuakan tempering dengan variable berbeda. Pada penelitian ini digunakan material aja karbon S55C untuk diberikan perlakuan panas kemudian menganalisa perlakuan panas terseut terhadap nilai struktur mikro dan kekerasan pada baja S55C. Komposisi dari Baja Karbon S55C terdiri dari 0,55% C, 0,15% Si, 0,6% Mn, 0.02% P, 0,03% S, 0,2% Kr, 0,2% Ni, 0,3% Cu. Standarisasi pengujian kekerasan menggunakan metode Rockwell D dan untuk pengujian metalografi menggunakan stamdar ASTM E3. Pada pengujian ini, perlakuan panas divariasikan dengan metode quenching menggunakan air dan oli, kemudian adanya perlakuan tempering terhadap material pada suhu 300⸰C dan 600⸰C. Pengujian ini mendapatkan hasil Pada pendinginan menggunakan air struktur yang terbentuk dominan martensit, sedangkan pada pendinginan menggunakan oli struktur yang terbentuk ferrit, perlit dan sedikit martensit. Hal ini karena laju pendinginan menggunakan air lebih cepat, sehingga struktur martensit terbentuk. Kemudian perlakuan tempering menunjukan adanya penurunan kekerasan yang sebanding dengan kenaikan suhu tempering. Dengan demikian didapatkan hasil urutan terbaik untuk perlakuan panas material S55C pada pada spesimen B, dengan perlakuan quenching menggunakan oli dan tempering pada suhu 300⸰C. Menghasilkan struktur mikro dominan Perlit dengan kekerasan 36,3 HRD.Kata kunci : Baja S55C, Perlakuan panas, Kekerasan, Metalografi
