Abstract

Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP) as a replacement for the Dutch Criminal Code has been passed and is currently undergoing a socialization period until 2026. The new Criminal Code, which is considered to be in accordance with the character of the Indonesian nation's spirit, is still reaping pros and cons among society. The expansion of the principle of legality by accommodating existing laws in society and Article 411 concerning adultery has become a polemic among society, especially the Minangkabau indigenous community. According to the beliefs of the Minangkabau indigenous people, the benchmark for the act of adultery is not only the presence of sexual intercourse outside of marriage, but more so the presence of moral norms that are violated by the perpetrator. Article 411, which is an absolute complaint offense, indirectly closes the role of the Minangkabau indigenous community in eradicating and resolving adultery cases. The Nan Salapan Law, which is the basis for enforcing Minangkabau customary criminal law, is overridden by the national criminal law because as long as an act has been regulated in the national Criminal Code, the laws that exist in society can no longer be applied. This research uses normative research methods, namely research that focuses on statutory regulations or research based on norms that apply in society.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review empirical evidence on the role of corporate culture as a strategic driver of employee performance. Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework, this study analyzed 40 peer-reviewed open-access articles published between 2020 and 2025 and indexed in reputable databases. The findings reveal that corporate culture significantly influences employee performance through shared values, leadership behavior, communication climate, and learning orientation. A strong and adaptive corporate culture enhances employee motivation, work engagement, productivity, and organizational citizenship behavior. This review also identifies gaps in existing research, particularly the limited use of longitudinal designs and the lack of focus on digital and hybrid work cultures. The study contributes to the literature by providing an integrated understanding of how corporate culture drives employee performance and offers strategic insights for organizational development and human resource management

Abstract

One effort to reduce bycatch in togok is to modify the togok by creating a vent to reduce bycatch by BRD. The BRD installed on the togok was a rope BRD vent made of Polyethelene (PE) with a diameter of 2 mm. The rope BRD vent is attached to the top of the cod-end as an escape vent 25 x 50 cm. The escape vent and the stash cod-end are covered with a net with a mesh size of 5 mm. The cover net aims to collect data on fish catches that pass through the rope BRD vent. The percentage of fish that pass through the rope BRD vent can be calculated, and measure the size of the fish caught in the cod-end and covered as an indicator of the effectiveness of the rope BRD vent on togok. This experiment was carried out for 20 days of fishing operation and 40 hauls. The results showed that the catch of togok without rope BRD vent (conventional) and togok with modified rope BRD vent were different (p 0.05), where the catch of conventional togok was 468.34 kg, and the catch of modified togok was 305.235 kg. The fishing catches in the cod end and cover sections the most are bycatch with 51% and 54% of the percentage of the total catch, and the least in the cod end is the discarded catch, which is 21% of the percentage of the total catch and on the cover is the main catch (main catch) with 19% of the percentage of the total catch. The average size of the catch of togok species of fish is there are many immature sizes, and the average size of the catch of togok species of shrimp is there are in maturity size. Keywords:BycatchBycatch excluder device (BRD)DiscardMain catch

Abstract

Data on bycatch in the fishing effort required to manage fisheries resources. Unfortunately, the data on small-scale and traditional fisheries is still lacking. It makes it challenging to make fishing policies and regulations. Survey activities and experimental fishing were conducted to determine and analyze the composition of the main catch, bycatch and discarded by the local fisher's bottom traps in Sibolga, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Five units of the trap with a size of 150 cm x 100 cm x 50 cm (length x width x height) were used to collect fish data. These five trap units operated in the fishing ground, where local fishers usually operate their fishing gear. The fishing operation carried out within 1 mile of the coastline with water depths ranging from 7-10 meters. The duration of trap setting around 5-7 days for each fishing operation. A motorboat operated with a weight of 5.8 GT. The results showed that the total bottom trap catch consisted of 329 individuals with a total weight of 151.4 kg and 12 demersal fish species. The main catch was 148 individuals (88.9 kg), or 44.7% of the total catch during the experiment i.e. Chepalapholis urodeta, Ephinephelus areolatus, Epinephelus chlorostigma, Plectropomus leopardus, Ephinepelus coioides, Lates calcarifer, Lutjanus malabaricus, and Lutjanus erytropterus. The bycatch was 151 individuals (57.1 kg) or 46.1% i.e. Lethrinus obsoletus, Lutjanus ehrenbergii, Acanthurus auranticavus, Platax teira, Nemipterus japonicus, Scarus rivulatus, Lutjanus johnii, Siganus canaliculatus, Caesio cuning, and Taeniura lymma. While the discarded catch amounted to 30 individuals (5.4 kg) or 9.2% i.e. Naso brevirostris, Diodon holocanthus, and Diadema setosum. The bycatch utilization obtained by fishers was 83.4%, and the unutilized was 16.6%. The percentage of fish sizes worthy for consumption was 135 individuals (74.6%), and the size unworthy for consumption was 46 individuals (25.4%).Keywords:Fishing groundFishing gear Fishing operation Main catchTrap

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to optimize the use of digital technology in video content creation for employees of PT Reghas Global Education. Digital transformation in the education sector requires institutions to possess creative and professional video content production capabilities; however, employees’ technical competencies remain limited. The activity was implemented through technical training, hands-on practice mentoring, and the strengthening of digital branding strategies. Evaluation was conducted using questionnaires administered before and after the activity. The results showed a 60 percentage-point increase in participants categorized as understanding/very understanding, shifting from an initial condition dominated by the less understanding category to a dominant level after the training. In addition, the less understanding category decreased to 0% at the end of the activity. These findings indicate that practice-based training methods are effective in improving employees’ competencies and self-confidence. This community service activity is expected to support service quality improvement, institutional image strengthening, and sustainable utilization of digital technology at PT Reghas Global Education.
