Abstract

It is important to take the use of elderly posyandu seriously since it is a component of a strategy to enhance the welfare of the elderly through preventative and promotional measures. Just 147 senior persons who utilize health services receive fewer visits from posyandu. This study aims to investigate the relationship between family support, health professional attitudes and knowledge, and accessibility to health services, and the usage of elderly posyandu at Puskesmas Landasan Ulin Timur, Banjarbaru City. A cross-sectional design was used for this investigation. The research subjects consisted of 174 senior adults. In data analysis, chi square and multiple logistic regression tests were employed. The results of the chi square analysis showed the p values for family support (p = 0.000), healthcare professionals' attitudes (p = 0.000), health resource accessibility (p = 0.001), and knowledge (p = 0.000). The knowledge variable and nurse performance had the strongest correlation (Exp(B)=4.456). At Puskesmas Landasan Ulin Timur Banjarbaru City, the use of senior posyandu is associated with family support, health staff attitudes, knowledge, and the availability of health services. Abstract

ABSTRACT Occupational safety in the maritime industry relies heavily on the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the understanding of risk perception by ship crews. Despite this, there is still a gap in a comprehensive understanding of research patterns and developments in this area. This study aims to map and analyze research trends related to the use of PPE and risk perception in the maritime industry using a bibliometric approach. The research method used the Publish or Perish application to identify 50 relevant articles from the period 2014-2024, which were then analyzed using VOSviewer with the application of occurance 4 and term 23 criteria to produce network, overlay, and density visualizations. The results showed the dominance of Scandinavian countries in publications, with Sweden (9 publications) and Norway (7 publications) as the main contributors. Analysis of publication types showed a predominance of empirical research articles (34 publications), with peak productivity in 2018. VOSviewer identified three main clusters of research: operational aspects of PPE, regulation and compliance, and analysis and evaluation. The highest keyword frequencies were found in "safety" (21), "ship" (17), and "personal protective equipment" (16), indicating a major focus on safety aspects. Research gaps were identified in the aspects of integration of modern technologies, harmonization of international standards, and longitudinal evaluative studies. This study concludes that although the field has grown significantly, there are still substantial opportunities for more comprehensive research development, especially in the aspects of research methodology, impact analysis, and compliance evaluation of PPE use in the maritime industry. Keywords: Personal Protective Equipment, Bibliometrics, Maritime Safety, Risk Perception, VOSviewer

Abstract

Background: Puskesmas is the spearhead of health services in Indonesia. In order to improve its services to the community, Puskesmas (public health center) must continuously increase their performances. Budget constraints make puskesmas must make improvements according to priority scale. Puskesmas have difficulty to determine priority as expected by society. Objective: This study aims to analyze the satisfaction of the Puskesmas visitors based on the level of performance and the level of importance which is then prioritized in accordance with the service attribute. Method: This research use cross sectional method with simple random sampling at Ngaglik 1 Sleman Yogyakarta Public Health Center visitors. Data were collected by using questionnaire based on likert scale with measured parameters including tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. Data processing uses the method of Important Performance Analysis (IPA) and Potential Gain in Customer Value (PGCV). Data sufficiency uses a 10% accuracy rate, a 90% confidence rate, and a margin of error of 0.1 (10%). The subjects involved were 45 patients who were present at the Ngaglik Community Health Center at the time the research took place Results: Satisfaction analysis shows that the level of respondent satisfaction is spread so uneven in every service attribute. Values for attributes considered to be important by the respondents averaged 3.14 while the average performance score of 4.18. There are different priorities that need to be improved according to IPA and PGCV. The five priorities that have to be fixed by IPA are the bathroom facilities, the speed and accuracy of the service of the officer, the completeness and the sophistication of medical equipment, drug security, and timeliness of service, while according to PGCV is the right JKN card service, knowledge and job mastery of the officers, completeness and sophistication of medical equipment, fast service when visitors arrive, and administrative length. Conclusion: The priority of service improvement according to IPA and PGCV differs from one to another. In general, researchers recommend the use of IPA method because this method saves time and cost. In general, puskesmas should improve services to match the expectations of visitors.

Abstract

In Indonesia, in 2021, the number of PLWHA found (419,551), adherence to taking antiretroviral medication (ARV) is the key to successful prevention of loss to follow-up (LFU) in people living with HIV (PLHIV). This research aims to comprehensively describe the factors that encourage and hinder adherence to ARV treatment in South Kalimantan from a stakeholder perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and in-depth interviews with 27 subjects from stakeholders, health workers, and non-governmental organizations/community organizations working in the field of HIV and AIDS in Banjar Regency, Banjarbaru City, Banjarmasin City, and Province. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman approach with the help of NVivo. The results of the study show the level of influence on ARV treatment adherence in PLWHA so that non-adherence is not only predicted at the individual level but is also known from the interpersonal, community, organizational and policy levels. For this reason, various intervention models are needed to increase adherence to ARV treatment in PLWHA. The conclusion shows that the most significant factor inhibiting adherence to ARV treatment in PLWHA is the organizational level.
