Abstract

A quality product is obtained from good cutting conditions. One of the deviations caused by the cutting conditions is the cylindrical process of the process, therefore in this study the effect of the feed motion (f) and the main cutting angle (Kr) on the cylindrical results of the workpiece surface on the cylindrical lathe process was carried out. The machining process is carried out with a depth of cut of 0.5 mm by varying the feeding motion (f) and the main cutting angle (Kr) with a constant spindle rotation (n) of the ST 37 workpiece which has a diameter of 30 mm and a length of 150 mm and is turned along ± 120 cm. mm using an HSS chisel. After the workpiece is turned, the cylindrical size of the workpiece is measured using Block – V and Dial Indicator. The results of this study found that, in the use of Kr = 90° (β = 60°, = 3°, = 27°) cylindrical value = 180 – 390 m, Kr = 70° (β = 50°, = 13°, = 27°) cylindrical value = 370 - 480 m, and Kr = 60° (β = 34 °, = 24°, = 32°) the cylindrical value = 510 – 860 m. Feeding motion has a great influence on the cylindrical surface, because the greater the feeding motion, the greater the cylindrical value. This is due to the less cylindrical in the workpiece during the machining process. The main cutting angle (Kr) also has a big influence on the cylindrical surface, because the smaller Kr, the greater the cylindrical value. This is because the use of a small Kr is not profitable because it will reduce the geometric accuracy of the product, in this case it will also affect the cylindrical result and cause the workpiece to become non-cylindrical (the cylindrical size is getting bigger).

Abstract

This study develops an econometric model to predict corporate financial performance. The goal is to improve the accuracy of predictions by analysing relevant economic and financial variables. The model combines statistical and econometric analysis to identify significant input variables such as asset turnover, firm size, capital structure, and liquidity. The study also highlights the importance of external factors, such as environmental policies and knowledge management, that affect corporate financial performance. Using ARIMA and VAR models, the study shows that selecting the correct parameters, such as the number of lags, is critical to improving prediction accuracy. The developed model is evaluated based on RMSE, MAD, and MAPE metrics, which show that the econometric model offers more accurate predictions than the classical statistical model. These results contribute significantly to understanding corporate financial performance dynamics and can be a reliable tool in strategic decision-making across various industry sectors.

Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of the manual potato washing process and explores the use of an electric motor-based washing machine as an alternative solution. The machine was designed to improve washing efficiency and ensure the potatoes reach a predetermined standard of cleanliness. The focus of the research was to determine the duration required for the machine to wash the potatoes clean. The methodology used included direct observation and literature study. Data analysis was done quantitatively, with the application of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to assess the consistency of the measuring instruments used. A 5 kg sample of potatoes was washed in three test iterations. Washing quality was measured using a nominal scale that included three key characteristics of clean potatoes. Results showed that 5 kg of potatoes could be washed to cleanliness standards within 10 minutes. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) yielded a P value of 0.787, indicating no significant difference between test iterations. Meanwhile, Gage R&R indicated a Repeatability value of 0.270833 and Reproducibility of 0.010417, indicating minimal variation between tests conducted by different testers.

Abstract

Egg shell and soil is a combination that can be used to make organic fertilizer. The purpose of this research is to make organic fertilizer from the basic ingredients of egg shells and soil determine its suitability with the fertilizer standard, namely SNI 7763:2018. Fertilizer design begins by determining 4 sample formulations with different ratios between egg shells and soil. The four comparisons of soil and eggshell samples were S1(80%: 20%), S2(50%: 50%), S3(60%: 40%), S4(40%: 60%). The standards and parameters that are used as benchmarks in this research are SNI 7763:2018 and 4 parameters, namely water content, pH, grain size, and co material. Based on the assessment with the SNI standard, only the fourth sample met the SNI standard. Meanwhile, based on the results of statistical tests with the response surface method, it shows that the ratio of soil and egg shells effect the parameters of moisture content, pH, grain size, and co-mingled material.

Abstract

This research analyzes Monsieur Spoon's influencer marketing strategy through collaboration with Tasya Farasya in promoting cromboloni. Additionally, the study highlights several key aspects influencing Monsieur Spoon's success in the Indonesian culinary market. This research adopts a qualitative method utilizing secondary data as the primary source. Findings indicate that by employing suitable influencers and integrating their competitive advantages, Monsieur Spoon effectively reinforces its position as a market leader in the premium bakery industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

Medical records are essential to health services. In Indonesian hospitals, RME is utilized to a degree of 65%. The Bhayangkara TK III Hoegeng Imam Santoso Hospital in Banjarmasin has RME filling completeness rates that range from 42% in the inpatient room to less than 60% between August and December. evaluating how well nurses performed in filling out electronic medical records in the inpatient room of Bhayangkara Hospital TK III Hoegeng Imam Santoso Banjarmasin by looking at knowledge, tenure, work motivation, and job design. This study used a cross sectional design. The research subjects consisted of 42 nurses in the inpatient room of Bhayangkara TK III Hoegeng Imam Santoso Hospital Banjarmasin Data analysis of chi square test and multiple logistic regression test. The results of the analysis with chi square showed the p value of knowledge (p = 0.000), tenure (p = 0.4390, work motivation (p = 0.032), and job design (p = 0.004). Knowledge variable is most associated with nurse performance (Exp(B)= 14.993. There is a relationship between knowledge, work motivation, and job design. There was no relationship between length of service and nurses' performance in filling out electronic medical records in the inpatient room of Bhayangkara Hospital TK III Hoegeng Imam Santoso Banjarmasin. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether firm size, leverage, and profitability have an effect on firm value. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method, which is a sampling method with certain criteria. The type of research used is quantitative. The results of this study indicate that firm size has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value, leverage has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value, profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Abstract

The joining of ASTM A36 carbon steel plates using the Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) technique is influenced by the tensile strength and hardness of the joint. To improve the quality of ASTM A36 carbon steel plate joints in the future, prediction methods are used. The prediction results play a significant role in determining the quality of the material connection.The method used in this research was descriptive quantitative, by predicting linear regression and non-linear (quadratic) regression models. The purpose of the discussion in this article was to determine the best prediction model for current variations on the tensile strength of future material connections. The analysis of the correlation coefficient showed a strong relationship in both models discussed. This indicates that the current strength variable had a strong relationship with tensile strength. Meanwhile, the highest R-square score was obtained in the non-linear regression model. The determination of the best prediction method was found in the non-linear regression model on tensile strength, with a MAPE value of 3.57%. These results indicate that the non-linear regression model better describes the relationship between current strength and tensile strength in ASTM A 36 carbon steel plate joining.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the beauty industry demands effective digital marketing strategies, including optimal website UI/UX design. This study explores the UI/UX design of the Bellina Studio website using the Design Thinking method to enhance user experience. The main issues identified include difficulties faced by customers in accessing service information, making reservations, and finding nail art references and promotional offers. The objective of this study is to design a more intuitive and efficient UI/UX interface to support Bellina Studio’s marketing strategy. The Design Thinking method was implemented through five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Usability evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) on 105 respondents. The results show that the developed UI/UX design significantly improved user satisfaction and ease of access, achieving a SUS score of 82 from general users and 85 from expert users, both categorized as “excellent usability.” By applying the Design Thinking approach, this study aims to deliver an innovative, user-centered solution relevant to the digital beauty industry.

Abstract

AbstrakMasalah gizi pada balita masih menjadi tantangan serius di Desa Sungai Pinang Lama, terutama akibat kurangnya pengetahuan ibu terkait pola asuh dan pemenuhan gizi yang tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan ibu dalam pengasuhan balita serta pengolahan makanan bergizi. Program ini menggunakan pendekatan intuitive parenting, yaitu pola pengasuhan yang menekankan sensitivitas orang tua dalam mengenali dan merespons kebutuhan anak, khususnya saat pemberian makan. Sasaran kegiatan mencakup 15 orang ibu serta dibantu 5 orang kader yang berasal dari RT 01, 02, 03, dan 04 di Desa Sungai Pinang Lama. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi pembentukan kader RUMI SAGI, penyuluhan materi edukasi, dan demonstrasi memasak. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur perubahan pengetahuan dan sikap. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pada kegiatan pembentukan kader RUMI SAGI, tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan sikap kader sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan (nilai signifikansi uji Wilcoxon masing-masing 0,180 dan 0,257; p > 0,05). Sebaliknya, pada kegiatan penyuluhan edukasi, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan baik pada pengetahuan maupun sikap peserta (nilai signifikansi masing-masing 0,03 dan 0,005; p < 0,05). Pada kegiatan demonstrasi memasak, tidak terdapat perubahan signifikan pada pengetahuan kader (p = 0,273) tetapi terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan peserta (p = 0,013). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan edukatif berbasis praktik langsung dapat mendorong perubahan positif dalam pola asuh dan konsumsi gizi anak di tingkat keluarga. Kata kunci: gizi buruk; intuitive parenting; demonstrasi memasak; edukasi ibu. AbstractMalnutrition in toddlers remains a serious challenge in Sungai Pinang Lama Village, primarily due to mothers’ limited knowledge regarding proper parenting and nutritional fulfillment. This community service activity aimed to enhance mothers' understanding and skills in childcare and nutritious food preparation. The program adopted an intuitive parenting approach, emphasizing parental sensitivity in recognizing and responding to children's needs, particularly during feeding. The target group consisted of 15 mothers, assisted by 5 community health volunteers (kaders) from RT 01, 02, 03, and 04 in Sungai Pinang Lama Village. The activities included the establishment of RUMI SAGI cadres, educational counseling, and cooking demonstrations. Evaluation was conducted using pre- and post-tests to measure changes in knowledge and attitudes. The results showed no significant difference in knowledge and attitudes among the RUMI SAGI cadres before and after the counseling session (Wilcoxon significance values of 0.180 and 0.257, respectively; p > 0.05). Conversely, significant improvements were observed in the knowledge and attitudes of participants following the educational counseling (significance values of 0.03 and 0.005, respectively; p < 0.05). In the cooking demonstration activity, no significant change was found in the cadres' knowledge (p = 0.273), but participants demonstrated a significant increase in knowledge (p = 0.013). These findings indicate that educational approaches based on hands-on practice can promote positive changes in parenting practices and children's nutritional intake at the household level. Keywords: malnutrition; intuitive parenting; cooking demonstration; maternal education.
