Abstract

Part stamping is a result of a production process called sheet metal forming, which is needed to produce the press part sheet metal plate or sheet , pressing dies as molds and pressing machines to produce it. This study aims to extend the use of masa stiper plate die plate by modifying the engine block cross pieces cutusing analysis response surfaces methodology ( RSM ) in the data analysis to optimize the value of the, punch and air pressure ( pressure) , modifications done on the tooling plate striper at block cutting machines cross pieces cut, from the modifications made previously discarded die platecan be reused in the production process without, opservasi of data processing with application minitab 16 , there is no influence between the mass use of the die plate against three fariasi parameters used. The modification process performed at striper tooling plate is on the right side of the bottom with a width of 26 mm and a gradual depth of 0.5 mm - 1.5 mm, modified subsequently assembled and used on the observations taken on the production line next if the value obtained using the program minitab 16, from the data obtained is used to find the optimum value on an analysis of response surfaces.

Abstract

The research was conducted in a material storage warehouse where some items were placed outside the warehouse due to space limitations. Storing items outside the warehouse can lead to a decline in product quality and financial losses. Therefore, this study aims to redesign the warehouse layout using Shared Storage method to optimize storage capacity. By analyzing storage needs and capacity, this research seeks to develop a new layout to enhance warehouse storage capacity. This study employs a quantitative approach, collecting data on material demand frequency, the existing warehouse layout, and the number of materials. Calculations were performed to determine the required aisle width and the total storage area needed for each type of material, considering forklift usage and pallet dimensions. The research findings indicate that the proposed warehouse layout increases storage capacity from 810 pallets to 1,298 pallets, representing a 60.25% increase. This improvement not only addresses space constraints but also contributes to better product management. The study provides practical implications for warehouse managers looking to implement space-saving strategies and improve operational efficiency. The Shared Storage method has proven to be a viable solution for warehouses facing similar challenges in maximizing storage space.

Abstract

The mangrove ecosystem plays a vital role in maintaining environmental balance, making it one of the most productive ecosystems. In addition to functioning as a natural barrier against coastal abrasion, mangroves also serve as habitats for marine organisms and provide economic resources for local communities. Batam City, as an archipelagic region with approximately 13,000 hectares of mangrove potential, is facing a significant reduction in mangrove forest areas due to development and land-use conversion. In response to this condition, a community service activity was carried out in the form of mangrove tree planting as part of efforts to conserve the mangrove ecosystem. The activity took place in Kampung Terih, Batam, involving students and lecturers, and was supported by the local community. The implementation method consisted of three stages: pre-activity (location survey, stakeholder coordination, and logistical preparation), core activity (environmental education and seedling planting), and post-activity (monitoring and scientific publication). The activity resulted in the planting of approximately 200 mangrove seedlings of the Rhizophora stylosa and Bruguiera gymnorrhiza species. In addition to contributing to environmental rehabilitation, this activity had a positive impact in raising participants’ environmental awareness and providing experiential learning for students. Evaluation indicated challenges in reaching the target number of seedlings and limited information on alternative planting locations. This activity is expected to serve as a sustainable initiative for mangrove conservation in Batam’s coastal areas and to strengthen the role of educational institutions in environmental preservation through community collaboration.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai Perencanaan dan Pembuatan Dry Cabinet Menggunakan Konsep Internet of Things. Penelitian ini merupakan penggabungan dari Dry Cabinet sebagai alat penyimpanan dan Internet of Things sebagai alat komunikasi jarak jauh untuk sistem monitoring dan controlling. Dalam penelitian ini sistem dapat mengatur dan memantau suhu dan kelembaban melalui web diawan.io. Sistem ini dibutuhkan sebagai alat penyimpanan untuk menyimpan barang elektronik yang rentan tehadap kelembaban. Penelitian ini menggunakan sensor suhu dan kelembaban tipe HTU21D, ESP32 yang berfugsi sebagai penghubung antara perangkat dan jaringan internet dan modul WFi, Thermoelectric sebagai pengatur suhu dan kelembaban, dan LCD sebagai antar muka. Hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa alat telah bekerja dengan baik dan mampu melakukan pembacaan suhu dan kelembaban serta melakukan monitoring dan controlling jarak jauh.

Abstract

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has precipitated a paradigm shift in numerous facets of life, including educational institutions. In response to these challenges, governments have adopted online learning systems as a means to continue educational activities during periods of lockdown or social distancing. The implementation of online learning has been accompanied by a range of both advantages and disadvantages. As the rate of new infections began to decrease, the government permitted the resumption of in-person classes, albeit with a limited number of students. In response to this shift, Maitreyawira Junior High School Batam swiftly transitioned to a dual -shift learning model, effectively dividing students into two groups to ensure uninterrupted education. The objective of this study is to assess the mental load using the NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index) method and the level of fatigue using the SOFI (Swedish Occupational Fatigue Index) method. The objective of this study is to assess the mental load experienced by teachers during the period of remote learning due to the pandemic. The results of this study indicate that the level of mental load and mothers at Maitreyawira Junior High School Batam is in a very high category with a NASA-TLX score of 87.5 and the SOFI dimension of fatigue was moderate with score of 62,57.

Abstract

National parks (NPs) have become a rapidly growing segment of nature-based tourist destinations. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted tourism activities across Indonesian NPs. While existing studies have scrutinized the impact of COVID-19 on tourism, studies that focused on clustering residents adjacent of NPs to support tourism amidst the COVID-19 pandemic remain underexplored. To unveil how residents are clustered, we assess residents in Ngadisari and Wonokitri villages based on their distinctive opinions of perceived benefits (PB), perceived costs (PC), perceived health risks (PHR), and support for tourism (ST). Totally, 354 respondents were obtained. We found that residents are clustered into two clusters named tourism supporters and cautious supporters. Tourism supporters are identified by their high agreement on PB and ST, and low agreement with PC. In contrast, Cautious supporters hold lower agreement in PB and ST, and higher agreement on PC and PHR. Our findings revealed that residents are heterogeneous and constitute a distinctive group of opinions and interests. Therefore, the design of policies and interventions should be adjusted based on those clusters. Key words: national park, perceived health risk, social exchange theory

Abstract

ABSTRACT Efforts to improve the quality of health services are carried out by measuring quality indicators. One of the quality indicators measured is compliance with the clinical pathway. Given the large role of clinical pathway, the implementation of clinical pathway is important in hospitals. However, from the RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman Quality Committee report from 2017-2023 compliance with the clinical pathway at RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman has not yet reached the national quality standard. This is considered to be related to individual factors, organizational factors, psychological factors, and knowledge of care professionals. This study aims to analyze the relationship between individual factors, organizational factors, and psychological factors with compliance of clinical pathways in professional caregivers at the Outpatient Unit of RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman. This study is a quantitative study using an analytic observational method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were Professional Care Givers in the Outpatient Unit of RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman. The sample size was taken with a proportionate stratified random sampling technique of 83 respondents, consisting of 32 dental asisstant, 29 dentists, and 22 specialist dentists. The results of the statistical test show that there is no relationship between individual factors (age, gender, education, tenure, marital status) with compliance of clinical pathway. There is a relationship between organizational factors, namely leadership (p=0.019) with compliance of clinical pathways, but other organizational factors, namely human resources and rewards have no relationship with compliance of clinical pathways. There is a relationship between psychological factors, namely attitude towards clinical pathway (p=0.003), work motivation (p=0.008), and perceived benefits of clinical pathway (p=0.008) with compliance of clinical pathway. From multivariate results, it was found that attitude towards clinical pathway (p=0.013) had a significant relationship with compliance of clinical pathway. So, there is relationship between leadership, attitude, motivation, and perceived with compliance of clinical pathways. And attitudes towards clinical pathways have a significant relationship with compliance of clinical pathways. Keywords: Individual Factors, Organizational Factors, Psychological Factors, Compliance of Clinical Pathway  ABSTRAK Upaya peningkatan mutu pelayanan kesehatan dilakukan dengan pengukuran indikator mutu. Salah satu indikator mutu yang diukur adalah kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway. Mengingat besarnya peranan clinical pathway, maka pelaksanaan clinical pathway menjadi penting di rumah sakit. Namun, dari laporan Komite Mutu RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman dari tahun 2017-2023 kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway di RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman belum mencapai standar nasional mutu. Hal ini dinilai berhubungan dengan faktor individu, faktor organisasi, dan faktor psikologi para profesional pemberi asuhan.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan faktor individu, faktor organisasi, faktor psikologi, dan pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway pada profesional pemberi asuhan di Unit Rawat Jalan RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah Profesional Pemberi Asuhan di Unit Rawat Jalan RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman. Besar sampel diambil dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling sebanyak 83 responden, yang terdiri dari 32 terapis gigi dan mulut, 29 dokter gigi, dan 22 dokter gigi spesialis. Dari uji statistik pada penelitian ini didapati tidak ada hubungan antara faktor individu (usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, masa kerja, status pernikahan) dengan kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway. Ada hubungan antara faktor organisasi, yaitu kepemimpinan (p=0,019) dengan kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway, namun faktor organisasi lain, yaitu sumber daya manusia dan imbalan atau reward tidak ada hubungan dengan kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway. Ada hubungan antara faktor psikologi, yaitu  sikap terhadap clinical pathway (p=0,003), motivasi kerja (p=0,008), dan persepsi manfaat clinical pathway (p=0,008) dengan kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway. Dari hasil multivariat, didapati sikap terhadap clinical pathway (p=0,013) merupakan variabel yang paling berhubungan bermakna dengan kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway. Jadi, disimpulkan ada hubungan kepemimpinan, sikap, motivasi, dan persepsi dengan kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway. Dan sikap terhadap clinical pathway memiliki hubungan paling bermakna dengan kepatuhan terhadap clinical pathway. Kata Kunci: Faktor Individu, Faktor Organisasi, Faktor Psikologi, Kepatuhan Terhadap Clinical Pathway

Abstract

Flip top cap tube merupakan tutup botol yang terdiri dari 2 bagian yaitu tutup dan topi, dibutuhkan gaya untuk melakukan gerakan membuka pada flip top cap tube yang disebut dengan lid opening force. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya nilai lid opening force pada produk cap tube 35 mm, dilakukan penelitian pada parameter yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai lid opening force yaitu tekanan tahan, waktu tahan, dan waktu pendinginan. Tekanan tahan yang diteliti memiliki nilai 25%, 30%, 35%, dan 40%. Waktu tahan dengan nilai 0,8 detik, 1 detik, 1,2 detik, dan 1,4 detik dan waktu pendinginan dengan nilai 11,5 detik dan 12,5 detik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Taguchi dan ANOVA. Analisis dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa parameter tekanan tahan memberikan persentase kontribusi 72,42%, waktu pendinginan dengan persentase kontribusi 15,35%, dan waktu tahan dengan persentasi kontribusi 4,33%. Untuk mendapatkan nilai lid opening force terbaik dengan nilai 1,73 kgf, maka digunakan parameter setting tekanan tahan dengan nilai 40%, waktu tahan dengan nilai 1,4 detik, dan waktu pendinginan dengan nilai 12,5 detik.

Abstract

The development of technology-based learning platforms and media has been widely carried out; however, most of efforts primarily focus on increasing student interest, while less attention is given to enhancing skills and scientific thinking processes. The purpose of this research was to develop a technology – based learning media, namely a Virtual Reality (VR) laboratory integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support students’ scientific thinking skills and processes. The AI - integrated VR laboratory was specifically  developed for the implementation of acid-base titration practicums. The research followed the ADDIE development model. During the implementation phase, the product was tested on 31 students from Chemistry Education Study Program at UKI, selected using a random sampling technique. Data collection, particularly for product evaluation, was conducted using a non-test instrument in the form of a Likert scale questionnaire. The instrument consisted of indicators of usefulness, efficiency, and interest which were share via Google Form link. Before being distributed to student, the instrument has been validated by an expert validator with a background in chemistry learning media. The results of the analysis indicated that the AI-integrated VR laboratory received positive response from students with a percentage level of 80.79% for the usefulness indicator, 77.06% for the efficiency indicator, and 79,45% for the interest indicator. Therefore, the result of the development of VR laboratory integrated with AI can be considered as a viable alternative learning media for conducting acid-base titration practicum.

Abstract

Indonesia faces dual challenges in the form of high dependence on coal and increased volumes of leaf and ranting organic waste. This study studied the development of biomass pellets from leaf litter and ranting as renewable energy (EBT) initiated by PT Building Solutions Indonesia (SBI) Cilacap together with Cilacap State Polytechnic. Analysis includes technical concepts, environmental impacts through a life cycle approach, as well as implementation potentials and challenges. Results show the use of biomass pellets can decrease net greenhouse gas and methane gas emissions from leaf burning and ranting by the community, as well as supporting the circular economy model. The main challenges include production energy consumption and particulate emission control. The concept is technically and ecologically feasible with optimization and policy support as a prerequisite for commercialization.
