Abstract

Forecasting is a process of predicting future events based on past event data. One of the time series models that can be used for forecasting is the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). The advantages of ARIMA are in the accuracy and flexibility of its forecasting in representing several different types of time series, but the main limitation is the linear form of the model which causes ARIMA to be unable to capture non-linear patterns in the data. An alternative model for time series modeling is Artificial Neuron Network (ANN). ANN can overcome the weaknesses of ARIMA, but cannot handle linear and nonlinear patterns of the data simultaneously. As an effort to improve forecasting accuracy, Hybrid ARIMA-ANN is carried out by taking advantage of the supremacy of ARIMA and ANN. This study aims to obtain the best model for forecasting the export value of Bengkulu Province, a model generated by the time series data of export values issued by Pulau Baai Harbour from January 2014 to June 2022. The result shows that the best model for predicting the export value of Bengkulu Province is the ARIMA-ANN hybrid model with MAAPE of 0.5289 and MASE of 0.7664.

Abstract

Internationalization has grown from an insignificant challenge to a crucial priority in recent decades, becoming a vital part of global higher education systems. The key objevtive of this study was to investigate the relationship between physical activity and life satisfaction among international students attending Indonesian institutions in Java. Importance to promoting their overall well being and adaptation in a foreign academic evironmentThis study included 220 foreign students (121 (55%) male, aged 18 to 52, mean age 26.7 and SD = 5.9 years old) from various countries who were studying at several institutions in Java, Indonesia. Physical activity data were collected using IPAQ(International Physical Activity Questionnaire), and life satisfaction was measured using the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). The non probability convenience sampling method used to collect the data and pearson statistical used to analysis the correlation between life satisfaction and physical activity. The findings showed that life satisfaction and physical activity were strongly positively correlated, with a Pearson correlation coefficient (r) of 0.806, the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.63, indicating that variations in physical activity levels account for 63% of the variance in life satisfaction. A p-value of 0.002, well below the conventional threshold of 0.05, validated the statistical significance of this association. Regular physical exercise was associated with better levels of life satisfaction among international students. These results emphasise how important it is to include physical exercise in daily routines in order to increase foreign students' life satisfaction. To further understand the basic processes and show how physical activity and life satisfaction are related in this student population, more study is required.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between online disinhibition, perceived anonymity, and cyberbullying behavior among adolescent TikTok users through a psychological and educational discourse lens. As social media becomes increasingly integrated into youth identity formation, understanding how digital environments shape speech patterns and behavioral norms is crucial. The research surveyed 297 adolescents aged 13–20 using validated psychometric scales and analyzed results via multiple linear regression. Findings reveal that both online disinhibition and anonymity significantly predict cyberbullying behavior, with anonymity (β = 0.670) exerting a stronger influence than disinhibition (β = 0.173). These results suggest that adolescents are more likely to engage in aggressive digital discourse when they feel untraceable or emotionally disconnected from their targets. TikTok’s unique algorithmic environment, pseudonym options, and asynchronous comment features reinforce this behavioral pattern. From an educational discourse perspective, these findings demonstrate that cyberbullying is not merely a behavioral outcome, but also a discursive shift where ethical communication norms erode under perceived invisibility. This study highlights the need for digital literacy programs that go beyond rule-based safety education to address the discursive realities of online interaction, emphasizing moral reasoning, identity accountability, and empathetic speech. Schools and educators should integrate reflective tasks that analyze online comment culture, encourage discourse analysis of aggressive digital speech, and cultivate a sense of online moral agency. Future research should investigate how specific language forms (e.g., sarcasm, mockery, tag-chaining) evolve in anonymous platforms and affect adolescent behavior. This research contributes to both cyberpsychology and education by providing a nuanced understanding of how digital speech patterns fueled by anonymity and disinhibition construct and normalize cyber aggression among youth

Abstract

The percentage of poor people in Bengkulu Province is high from year to year. The poverty rate in Bengkulu Province also tends to fluctuate. If there is a decrease in the poverty rate, the decrease is relatively small. Poverty in the regions of Bengkulu Province also varies from district to district, subdistrict, and village to village, because poverty data is spatial data that varies regionally. The diversity of poverty data in Bengkulu Province is influenced by spatial effects, namely spatial dependency and spatial heterogeneity. Spatial dependency occurs due to spatial error correlation in cross section data, while spatial heterogeneity occurs due to random area effects, which is the difference between one region and another. Therefore, classical methods are not qualified enough to analyze the resulting diversity. This research will model the poverty of each district/city in Bengkulu Province using Mixed Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR), because this method is quite complex in modeling data that contains spatial heterogeneity and variations in geospatial data. This modeling aims to identify and analyze poverty indicators in Bengkulu Province spatially, namely based on poverty data in each district/city in Bengkulu Province. The results showed that by using the MGWR method, the variables that locally influence the percentage of extreme poor people in each district/city in Bengkulu Province are Female Household Head Gender and not having a waterheater . Meanwhile, the variable that has a global effect on the percentage of the extreme poor in each district/city in Bengkulu Province is not having a flat screen television ().

Abstract

In carrying out the task of completing community reports, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia is not only known for providing recommendations but also the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia has the final product of completing the report, namely the Final Report of the Examination Results. Therefore, this study aims to: explain the legal review of the Final Report of the Examination Results as part of the series of examinations of community reports that have a relationship with providing recommendations if corrective actions in the Final Report of the Examination Results are not implemented by the Public Service Provider in the findings of mal-administration. The method used in this study is the normative juridical method. The results showed that the Final Report of the Examination Results is a whole series of processes for receiving and verifying reports with formal and material requirements which will then be followed up in the examination process, the product of the Ombudsman's supervision service is the Final Report of the Examination Results. So the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia does not just provide recommendations, because of the position of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia as a state institution that exerts influence in a persuasive approach in handling community reports related to mal-administration. One of the main concerns of this study is that the Final Report on the Results of the Examination has not been included in the Ombudsman Law of the Republic of Indonesia so that hierarchically the power of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia is in the recommendations. However, the existence of the Final Report of the Examination Results as an effort by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia to encourage the improvement and improvement of public services at the encouragement of independent public service providers
