Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the peer tutor learning model on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. The form of this research is pre-experiment design with research design one group pre-tets post-test. The subjects in this study were class VII F in Pontianak, totaling 29 people. Data collection techniques in this study were direct observation techniques, measurement techniques, and documentary study techniques. The data collection tool is in the form of observation sheets or lists check note sheets and learning outcomes tests in the form ofpre-test and post test. Based on the analysis of the data studied, the normality results state that the residual values ​​are normally distributed with a significant value of 0.200,> 0.05. While the results of the hypothesis test stated that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the significant value of the results pre-test and post-test, a value of 0.000 means it is smaller than 0.05. From testing the hypothesis it can be concluded that there is effectiveness in using the peer tutoring model on the learning outcomes of class VII students in Pontianak, and there are differences in the learning outcomes of students before and after using the peer tutoring model with an average scorepre-test 64,14 and post-test 76.90. From the calculation results effect size the results obtained were 0.883 in the high category. This means that the peer tutor learning model has a major influence in improving student learning outcomes in social studies class VII F in Pontianak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak keberadaan wisata pantai Tanjung Batu terhadap perubahan sosial ekonomi pada masyarakat lokal di Kecamatan Pemangkat Kabupaten Sambas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data yaitu perpanjangan pengamatan, meningkatkan ketekunan dan triangulasi Terdapat enam orang informan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa (1) Dalam aspek perubahan sosial adalah terdapat perubahan sosial pada masyarakat lokal Tanjung Batu Pemangkat yaitu berkurangnya nilai sosial yaitu solidaritas sosial dan kesadaran dalam menjaga lingkungan, hal ini terjadi karena semakin berkembangnya usaha pariwisata membuat masyarakat sibuk mencari usaha sampingan dengan berdagang makanan dan minuman di sekitar wisata pantai Tanjung Batu, lalu dengan adanya usaha pariwisata ini membuat masyarakat luar sering berkunjung ke pantai Tanjung Batu sehingga sering terjadi interaksi sosial pengunjung dengan masyarakat loka sehingga terjadilah interkasi dengan orang-orang baru, hal ini yang membuat masyarakat dusun Tanjung Batu dikenal oleh masyarakat luar dengan keramahannya terhadap para pengunjung . (2)  Dalam aspek perubahan ekonomi adalah dengan adanya wisata pantai Tanjung Batu membuat masyarakat lokal menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan baru seperti berjualan makanan dan minuman ringan, petugas parkir, penginapan, dan lain sebagainya sehingga adanya wisata pantai Tanjung Batu ini memberikan dampak pada meningkatnya perekonomian masyarakat lokal sehingga masyarakat memiliki penghasilan tambahan dan dapat mengurangi angka pengangguran yang ada pada dusun Tanjung Batu.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an effect of problem-based learning on the social studies learning outcomes of seventh grade students. This research used quasi experimental design method with nonequivalent control group design. There were 31 students who became research samples in class VII B as the experimental group, and 31 other students in class VII C as the control group. Data were collected through multiple choice tests consisting of pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used is the normality test with the shapiro wilk formula and the hypothesis test using the mann whitney u test. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that class VII B as the experimental group obtained a score of 77.25, while class VII C as the control group amounted to 43.54. There is a significant inequality in both data. The normality test results on the pretest and posttest data of the experimental group and control group were not normally distributed with a value of 0.000. Based on hypothesis testing on the mann-whitney u test of 0.000 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. In addition, the calculation of the effect size test resulted in a value of 0.41 which shows problem-based learning has a positive impact on student learning outcomes compared to conventional social studies learning with a medium category

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) type cooperative learning model at SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency. This study uses a quasi-experimental quantitative experimental method. The research subjects were 74 people (37 students in grades VII, C and E). Multiple-choice objective tests in the form of pretest and posttest are used as data collection techniques, and observation guides are used as data collection tools. The hypothesis was tested by paired sample t-test, and Shapiro Wilk's normality test was used in the data analysis method. Empirical evidence shows that the STAD model has been effectively applied in an educational environment. The results of the analysis showed that before and after the test of the normality test of the experimental class. After that, a parametric hypothesis test was carried out, and the results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance level (asymbiotic growth) of the asymptotic sig of 0.000<0.05 for the type of 2-tailed cooperative learning type which represents the 2-tailed asymptotic sig cooperative learning model. The STAD model influences students' learning goals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's role in the learning process for third-grade students at MI Syuhada Nanga Jajang, Pengkadan District, Kapuas Hulu Regency. The method used is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. This study's data sources were teachers and students of class III MI Syuhada. The data were the observations and interviews with teachers and students of class III MI Syuhada. The results showed that the teacher's role as an educator had been carried out well. It has been proven that it has been found that the teacher provides an example and the teacher guides students during observations and in the results of interviews with teachers and third-grade students of MI Syuhada. The teacher's role as a motivator has been proven to be good, and it has been found that the teacher is a motivator and motivator at the time of observation which is supported by the results of interviews with teachers and third-grade students of MI Syuhada. The teacher's role as a facilitator has been carried out well. It has been proven that it has been found that the teacher provides learning methods and media during observation, and is supported by the results of interviews with the teacher and third-grade students of MI Syuhada.

Abstract

AbstrakPada era industrial revolution atau revolusi industri 4.0 saat ini pekerjaan dapat menjadi lebih mudah dikarenakan adanya bantuan teknologi. Begitupun dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dimana generasi saat ini yang disebut sebagai Generasi Z dapat dengan mudah mengupdate dan mendapatkan informasi dengan bantuan teknologi. Di tahun 2022 ini, kami akan melaksanakan PKM yang masih berkisar pada dunia pendidikan, khususnya pada pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital di SMPN 7 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Program tahun ini dirancang sebagai upaya memfasilitasi dan membekali guru-guru di SMPN 7 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital untuk menggali potensi dan mampu bersaing secara global di era revolusi ini. Program pemanfaatan Canva sebagai media pembelajaran digital terinspirasi dengan maraknya perkembangan teknologi terutama media pembelajaran digital di bidang pendidikan. Terfasilitasinya guru dengan pemanfaatan media digital Canva diharapkan untuk menggali potensi dan meningkatkan kreativitas guru yang akan berpengaruh pada peningkatan kualitas guru.Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Canva, Kualitas Guru

Abstract

AbstrakSemakin ketatnya persaingan di era global dan tuntunan persaingan di dunia kerja, sangat dibutuhkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki ketrampilan dan mampu membangun dirinya sendiri serta bersama–sama bertanggung jawab atas pembangunan bangsa. Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview and information about the factors causing the decline in learning motivation among 9th-grade students at SMP Negeri 17 Satap Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya Regency. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive method. The data sources for this research are 9th-grade students at SMP Negeri 17 Satap Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya Regency, class teachers, and parents of students. The data collection techniques used in this study include interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the factors causing the decline in learning motivation among 9th-grade students at SMP Negeri 17 Satap Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya Regency are based on internal factors, particularly the lack of interest in learning, laziness in studying, feeling sleepy in class, being preoccupied and not paying attention to the teacher. External factors include the students' family environment, where working parents lack the desire for further education, a lack of motivation and attention from parents, as well as the teaching style of the teachers, who use lecture-based methods that make students bored and uninterested in learning. Overall, this research provides an overview of the factors causing the decline in learning motivation among students, which include interest, family environment, and teaching style

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi peserta didik terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui angket yang dibagikan kepada peserta didik kelas VII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi peserta didik terhadap model pembelajaran TGT berada pada kategori sangat baik. Peserta didik merespons positif penerapan TGT dengan lebih antusias, termotivasi, dan aktif dalam pembelajaran. Model TGT juga terbukti mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, kompetitif secara sehat, serta meningkatkan interaksi sosial di antara peserta didik. Selain itu, TGT memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar, rasa ingin tahu, tanggung jawab, dan keterampilan kerja sama dalam kelompok. Dengan demikian, TGT dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the interest of eleventh-grade Accounting students at SMKN 3 Pontianak in continuing their education to the Economics Education Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Tanjungpura University, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors influencing such interest. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. A total sample of 105 students was randomly selected from the overall population of 141 students. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of seven indicators of interest: enjoyment, desire, attention, need, expectation, encouragement, and willingness. The findings revealed that students’ interest in pursuing higher education in the Economics Education Study Program remains relatively low, with only 5.7% categorized as very high, 9.5% high, 19% moderate, 48.6% low, and 17.1% very low. Supporting factors included curiosity and external influences such as teachers and alumni, which were generally rated high to very high. In contrast, inhibiting factors such as attention, motivation, needs, enthusiasm, emotions, family upbringing, economic conditions, and peer influence were predominantly rated low to very low. These results are expected to provide valuable input for schools, parents, and universities to develop strategies that can foster students’ interest in continuing their education, particularly in the Economics Education Study Program at FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura.
