Abstract

This paper discusses the influence of visionary leadership and persuasive communication on teacher performance at the Global Islamic Boarding School, South Kalimantan. Teacher performance is an essential component and needs special attention, considering that teacher performance significantly impacts student learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach, and the sample was taken using a non-probability sampling technique with 40 respondents. The research results show that The t-count value for the visionary leadership variable of 2,764 is greater than the t-table of 2.02439 with a significance level of 0.009 < 0.05. This shows that visionary leadership has a positive effect on teacher performance. (2) The results of data analysis show that the t-count value is 1.203 < t-table 2.02439, with a significant value of 0.237 > 0.05. This states that Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted, meaning that the persuasive communication variable does not positively and significantly affect the teacher performance variable. (3) Based on the results of the F-test, it shows that the F-value is 4,590 > from F table 0.25, and the significant value is 0.018 < 0 .05; this shows that visionary leadership and persuasive communication have a simultaneous effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

Sebaliknya, nilai Flow, Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), dan Void in Mixture (VIM) mengalami penurunan. Berdasarkan hasil uji Marshall dari variasi yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan limbah plastik sebesar 2,5% dan 5% dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pada campuran AC-BC.

Abstract

Companies are required to compete fiercely to create and maintain consumer desires, because consumers continue to look for new things in the products and services they consume. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of online customer reviews and brand equity on purchasing decisions mediated by purchase intention. This study uses quantitative data analysis methods using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. Primary data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 160 consumers of the Erigo brand. Online customer reviews were found to have a positive impact on consumer purchase intentions, but did not directly influence purchase decisions. Instead, brand equity emerged as an important factor, which positively influenced purchase intentions and decisions. Furthermore, this study underscores the mediating role of purchase intention in bridging the effects of online customer reviews and brand equity on actual purchase decision behavior.

Abstract

This research was motivated by an observation at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pasaman Barat, where it was found that Akidah Akhlak teachers faced various problems in implementing learning in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. The problems that emerged included low motivation and active participation of students in participating in learning, lack of interest in learning. One part of the implementation of the independent curriculum is to use various methods in learning to make learning more enjoyable, but in fact the Akidah Akhlak teachers at this madrasah have not used various methods, namely only using the lecture method like the previous curriculum which does not require students to be active in learning. The purpose of this study was to find out 1) How the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in the Learning Program Plan for the Akidah Akhlak subject at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pasaman Barat 2) How the implementation of the independent curriculum in the implementation of learning in the Akidah Akhlak subject at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pasaman Barat 3) How is the evaluation of learning regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum in the Akidah Akhlak subject at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pasaman Barat. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using data collection methods through observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities. The use of this method is expected to obtain concrete data according to the research needs. From the results of the study, the author found that the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 West Pasaman has been running effectively, so that to some extent the objectives of the Independent Learning Curriculum implementation have begun to experience progress in learning. However, teachers still experience obstacles in implementing learning, so teachers are required to innovate and the learning process is not entirely carried out in the classroom, making learning more varied and less boring.

Abstract

Background: The increasing incidence of infections caused by antimicrobial-resistant bacteria has become a serious public health problem in Indonesia; however, data on resistance patterns in Kalimantan Timur, particularly Samarinda, remain limited. Objective: This study aimed to describe the antimicrobial resistance patterns of clinical bacterial isolates examined at the East Kalimantan Provincial Health Laboratory in 2024. Methods: This study employed a descriptive observational design using secondary data from culture and antibiotic susceptibility testing results of 201 clinical bacterial isolates collected from January to December 2024. Data were analyzed descriptively through tabulation and percentage distribution. Results: Among all positive isolates (n = 201), 54.4% were Gram-negative and 45.6% were Gram positive bacteria. The most frequently identified bacteria were Escherichia coli (24.4%), followed by Staphylococcus haemolyticus (7.0%) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (7.0%). Susceptibility testing revealed that E. coli showed high sensitivity to meropenem (98%) and amikacin (100%), whereas Staphylococcus aureus exhibited 30.8% resistance to oxacillin, indicating the presence of methicillin resistant S. aureus (MRSA). The predominant resistance mechanisms detected included β-lactamase production (21.7%), extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL, 40.6%), and MRSA (37.7%). Conclusion: Antimicrobial resistance based on bacterial isolates examined at the East Kalimantan Provincial Health Laboratory demonstrated a wide variation in antibiotic susceptibility patterns. These findings provide an initial overview of resistance conditions in Samarinda and can serve as a foundation for the implementation of continuous antimicrobial resistance surveillance.
