Abstract

This study investigates the underexplored intersection of sustainable branding, halal certification, and digital consumer engagement in shaping purchase decisions for halal cosmetic products. Focusing on Kahf Facial Wash sold via Shopee Indonesia, the research addresses a critical gap in understanding how these factors collectively influence e-commerce transactions in the rapidly growing Muslim beauty market. Employing a quantitative approach, data was collected through an online survey of cosmetic consumers and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The findings reveal that green brand perception exerts a significant positive influence on purchase decisions, underscoring the rising consumer preference for environmentally conscious beauty brands. Interestingly, while halal labeling and online reviews did not demonstrate significant individual effects, their synergistic combination with green branding collectively enhanced consumer purchasing behavior. This suggests that modern Muslim consumers prioritize eco-friendly attributes as a primary driver, with halal certification serving as a baseline expectation rather than a differentiator. The study contributes novel insights to halal marketing theory by challenging conventional assumptions about religiosity as the dominant purchase driver. Practically, it offers actionable strategies for cosmetic brands to leverage sustainability narratives while maintaining halal compliance in digital marketplaces. For e-commerce platforms, the results highlight the need to optimize green branding displays alongside user-generated content to boost conversion

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of dynamic innovation capabilities, information technology, and digital leadership on employee performance, by considering digital workplace dynamics as a mediating variable and digital leadership as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach is used with the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that dynamic innovation capabilities, information technology, and digital leadership have a significant effect on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through digital workplace dynamics. Dynamic innovation capabilities and digital leadership are proven to be the most dominant factors in improving performance, while information technology capabilities play an important role in forming an efficient and collaborative work ecosystem. Digital workplace dynamics function as a mediator that connects innovation and technology with improved performance, although its influence is smaller than the direct effect. In addition, the role of digital leadership as a moderating variable strengthens the relationship between innovation and technology on employee performance. This means that leaders who are adaptive to technology and able to facilitate organizational change strategically contribute significantly to driving the achievement of organizational goals in the digital era. This finding emphasizes the importance of synergy between innovation, technology, and leadership in supporting performance in the digital era. The theoretical and practical implications of this study contribute to the development of digital-based human resource management strategies.

Abstract

Dego-dego Beach, a tourist destination in Darubiah Village, Bontobahari District, Bulukumba Regency, boasts diverse marine biological resources, including a coral reef ecosystem. However, the condition of this coral reef ecosystem is unfortunately degrading due to numerous environmentally unfriendly tourist activities and a lack of awareness regarding the ecosystem's importance. Consequently, coral reef ecosystem restoration efforts, specifically through coral transplantation, are a suitable option for achieving coral reef sustainability. This research aims to determine the survival rate and growth rate of transplanted corals, as well as to assess the environmental parameters of the waters in the Acropora sp. coral transplantation area at Dego-dego Beach in 2024. The research methodology involved direct observation at the Acropora sp. coral transplantation site in 2024, utilizing both primary and secondary data. The study's findings indicate that the survival rate of Acropora sp. coral transplants from 2024 to 2025 reached 70%. The average total growth rate of the transplanted corals after 12 months of planting was 2.44 cm, with an average monthly growth rate of 0.20 cm/month. And factor inhibiting coral fragment growth is the overly dense placement of fragments, leading to nutrient competition. Additionally, suboptimal substrate types that are easily fragmented by currents or waves can cause excessive sedimentation transport, which in turn disrupts the photosynthesis of zooxanthellae.

Abstract

The rise of radicalism and intolerance, particularly among young people with limited access to credible religious information in digital media, poses a serious challenge to national harmony. Religious education in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) plays a strategic role in preventing the spread of extremism. This community service activity was conducted at Institut Ummul Quro Al-Islami (IUQI) Bogor through the YouTube platform during the second and third weeks of July 2025 at the IUQI campus podcast studio. The method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving students actively in the design and production of dialogical podcast content. The results show that podcasts are an effective medium for promoting moderate, inclusive, and contextual understandings of Islam. Students were trained to think critically, reject fanaticism, and serve as agents of peace in society. Publishing the content through YouTube effectively reached a wider and younger audience in a modern way. Therefore, this program not only benefited the students but also expanded the dissemination of religious moderation values within the broader community.
