Internalization of Religious Tolerance Through Cross-Cultural Dialogue in Kendal’s Art Performances Agus Riyadi; Nur Hamid; Saerozi Saerozi

The intolerance symptoms in several regions of Indonesia are increasingly worrying as transnational actions proliferate. However, in some remote villages of Java island, cultural and Islamic spiritual capitals are still found, manifested through various local pearls of wisdom in performing arts, as seen in the Cacaban community, Singorojo, and Kendal Regency. Skills can be used as media for cross-cultural dialogues between Islam and Java to build harmony. This study examines the debate between Islamic values and Javanese cultures to find an accommodative model of acculturation between Islam and Javanese wisdom in cultivating the values of tolerance in moderate religious life. This study implements a qualitative-ethnographic-interpretive approach based on the phenomenological hermeneutic paradigm. It shows that the patterns of cross-cultural dialogue in Cacaban Kendal society are carried out through Jaran Kepang, Karawitan, and Wayang Orang performances. Meanwhile, the reproduction of cultural acculturation is found explicitly in the praxis of life in the form of world views; beliefs or ideology; social attitudes; rites or ceremonies; social principles, norms, and regulations; habits, and behavior in social interactions. The internalization of the tolerance system can be categorized into three main principles, namely: (1) the principle of religious freedom, (2) the principle of respect for the existence of other religions, and (3) the principle of freedom in doing good things and being fair to everyone.

Purpose - The aims of this study to recognize the view of leader of Majelis Ilmu and Dzikir Ar-Raudhah towards ahlussunnah wal jamaah, as well as dakwah movement activities and reinforcement form performed by Majelis Ilmu and Dzikir Ar-Raudhah towards the understanding of ahlussunnah wal jamaah in Surakarta CityMethod - This research is qualitative field research. Data collection was obtained through a free interview, participant observation, and documentation study. It is further analyzed through three stages i.e. reduction, display, and verification.Result - This study suggests that the view of the leader of Majelis Ilmu and Dzikir Ar-Raudhah towards the understanding of ahlussunnah wal jamaah could be divided into several points of view i.e. from the point of view of fiqh, science of hadith, science of sirah and science of aqidah. Dakwah movement and the form of reinforcement of Majelis Ilmu and Dzikir Ar-Raudhah towards the understanding of ahlussunnah wal jamaah in Surakarta City is by using various kinds of media and methods. Social media movement by creating apps, websites, and IT Developer, dakwah movement through printed media by the publishing of the book of aswaja as well as the law foundation completely, direct dakwah movement such as tabligh akbar.Implication – the implication of this research is related to the importance of the dakwah implementation in reinforcing the understanding of ahlussunnah wal jamaahOriginality – this research analyzes the view of leader of Majelis Ilmu and Dzikir Ar-Raudhah towards the understanding of ahlusunnah wal jamaah, and the activities of dakwah movement in reinforcing the understanding of ahlussunnah wal jamaah in Surakarta City. ***Tujuan - penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan pimpinan majelis ilmu dan dzikir Ar-Raudhah terhadap ahlussunnah wal jamaah, serta kegiatan gerakan dakwah dan bentuk penguatan yang dilakukan oleh Majelis Ilmu dan Dzikir Ar-Raudhah terhadap pemahaman ahlussunnah wal jamaah di Kota SurakartaMetode - Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara bebas, observasi partisipan, dan studi dokumentasi. Selanjutnya dianalisis melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi, display, dan verifikasi.Hasil - Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pandangan pimpinan majelis ilmu dan dzikr Ar-Raudhah terhadap pemahaman ahlussunnah wal jamaah dapat dibagi menjadi beberapa sudut pandang yaitu dari sudut pandang fiqh, ilmu hadits, ilmu sirah dan ilmu akidah. Gerakan dakwah dan bentuk penguatan majelis ilmu dan dzikr Ar-Raudhah terhadap pemahaman ahlussunnah wal jamaah di Kota Surakarta adalah dengan menggunakan berbagai media dan metode. Gerakan media sosial dengan membuat aplikasi, website, dan IT Developer, gerakan dakwah melalui media cetak dengan penerbitan kitab aswaja serta yayasan hukum secara lengkap, gerakan dakwah langsung seperti tabligh akbar.Implikasi – implikasi penelitian ini terkait dengan pentingnya implementasi dakwah dalam memperkuat pemahaman ahlussunnah wal jamaah.Orisinalitas – penelitian ini menganalisis pandangan pimpinan majelis ilmu dan dzikr Ar-Raudhah terhadap pemahaman ahlusunnah wal jamaah, dan aktivitas gerakan dakwah dalam memperkuat pemahaman ahlussunnah wal jamaah di Kota Surakarta.

Stroke sebagai salah satu dari penyakit kronis yang diderita oleh mayoritas negara yang sedang berkembang. Penderita stroke semakin tahun semakin meningkat cepat dan penderita stroke juga akan mengalami kecacatan yang begitu lama. Selain itu orang yang sudah pernah terkena stroke akan lebih mudah terkena serangan ulang stroke serta dampaknya akan lebih parah dari serangan pertama. Oleh sebab itu penderita stroke perlu adanya pengobatan secara holistik. Rumah sakit Roemani memberikan pelayanan secara holostik yang dengan cara pasien diberi bimbingan rohani agar mendapatkan kesembuhan secara paripurna. Penelitian bertujuan 1). untuk mengetahui kondisi mental psikologis pasien stroke di Rumah sakit Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang. 2). untuk menetahui bimbingan rohani Islam pada pasien stroke di Rumah sakit Roemani Muhammadiyah Semarang. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Sedangkan tehnik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pertama, kondisi psikologis pasien stroke secara umum adalah mengalami shock, kecemasan, stres dan menarik diri dari kehidupan sosial. Kedua, bimbingan rohani Islam terhadap pasien stroke antara lain memberikan motivasi, membantu pasien untuk memahami arti sakit, membantu pasien selalu untuk selalu rajin berobat, serta senantiasa berpegang pada ajaran agama dalam bersikap dan bertingkah laku.

Culture and local tradition, a representation of local knowledge or local wisdom serve as a means of cultural accommodation to maintain the harmonious environment situation, including social relationships of cross-religious life and even across cultures. One of the local wisdom values in community is the ritual Nyadran tradition. This study is intended to reveal how the Nyadran tradition can accommodate cross-religious relationships in the Kayen village, Jemangi- Boyolali. This research uses qualitative approach. The important research findings are that Nyadran tradition can be an expression of social piety through the practice of mutual cooperation, solidarity, and togetherness. Nyadran can be a medium of accommodation and building harmony among people, especially in plural and multicultural community. The tradition in Kayen village with its various procedures has been able to develop the primordial ties of its community in a group that share the same views and beliefs despite their different religions and beliefs.

The psychiatric conditions of patients being treated in hospitals vary so that physical, psychological, medical and spiritual services are needed for all patients. This shows the importance of holistic treatment including medical and non-medical actions which enable them to get motivation, entertainment, support, suggestions, empathy and various matters relating to the psychological aspects. This study is intended to reveal the importance and implementation of Islamic counselling at Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital Semarang. As a qualitative field research, data were collected through free interviews, participant observation, and documentation. All data were analyzed by the phenomenological approach and descriptive analysis using the logic of induction, deduction, and reflection. The findings suggested that Islamic counseling is needed for inpatients because everyone always has four dimensions: biological or physical, psychological, social, and spiritual. These four dimensions are one unit that is interrelated to determine the quality of one’s health. The existing Islamic guidance and counseling has not yet implemented a system of professional counseling services. The form of all services provided to patients is almost just guidance service model such as giving prayer, motivation, worship, and advices so that there has not been implemented counseling services. Moreover, many Islamic counseling service officers at Roemani hospital in Muhammadiyah Semarang have not fully understood the stages that must be performed by a counselor in providing counseling services.

This study aims to describe Islamic counseling guidance in developing the counselee's religious practice at the Waria al-Fatah Islamic boarding school, by using field research in finding sources relevant to the research, and using in-depth interview techniques, participant observation, and documentation to explore data. existing data, and using source triangulation and technical triangulation to validate existing data, and using John W. Creswell's spiral data analysis model to analyze the data obtained in the field. The results showed that; (1) Islamic counseling guidance has a positive influence on the counselee on aspects of religious practice; (2) Islamic counseling guidance cannot be said to be effective, because the service does not have a systematic and well-structured procedure and service management as Islamic counseling guidance is carried out in general; (3) the supporting and hindering factors of service consist of several things, namely; the existence of the counselee's motivation, the counselor's skills in building an atmosphere, the existence of additional religious programs, and the existence of adequate facilities for feelings, while for the inhibiting factors themselves, namely; related to the negative stereotypes and stigma of the majority of the community, lack of service time, and lack of human resources at the Waria al-Fatah Islamic boarding school which focuses on Islamic counseling guidance for transgender people.

BUMDES is a village business institution managed by the community and village government to strengthen the village economy and build community social cohesion based on the needs and potential of the village. The Jatisura village government has established the Surakarya BUMDES as an institution for the welfare of the community's economy. It follows the role of the Surakarya BUMDES in empowering the community in Jatisura village. Surakarya BUMDES is a business entity whose entire or most of the capital is owned by the village through direct participation in village wealth, assets, services, and for the greatest prosperity of the village people. The problems in this study are 1) how is the role of the Surakarya BUMDES in empowering the community through processed mango fruit crafts in Jatisura village, Cikedung sub-district, Indramayu District. 2) How is the community empowerment model through Surakarya BUMDES in Jatisura village, Cikedung sub-district, Indramayu District. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of Surakarya BUMDES in community empowerment is 1) Development and development of the economic potential and capacity of the community, 2) active efforts to improve the quality of human and community life, 3) supporting the community in realizing and developing the economy of rural communities, 4) and Helping the community to increase their income. The empowerment model carried out by the Surakarya BUMDES in Jatisura village uses a community development and participatory model. The community development model exists in the Bumdes of Jatisura village by developing the potential of natural resources to be processed into processed mangoes. Participatory empowerment model in Surakarya BUMDES with mango processing training from Surakarya BUMDES. The empowerment model approach used is top-down; the government budget determines the success of this empowerment.

Wedi Village is one of the areas in Bojonegoro Regency, East Java, where the community can take advantage of its natural potential. The development of Salak Wedi Agrotourism is one of the community empowerment programs to develop the potential of a village to improve the welfare of the community. Therefore, the author formulates the problem as follows: (1) How is the process of community empowerment through the development of Salak Wedi Agrotourism by the Wedi Village Tourism Awareness Group. (2) How is the community empowerment model through the development of Salak Wedi Agrotourism by the Wedi Village Tourism Awareness Group. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study, researchers were directly involved in extracting data. Analysis of the data used using the theory of Milles and Haberman, which includes data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion. This study indicates that: (1) the community empowerment process through the development of Salak Wedi Agrotourism goes through several stages, namely the problem posing stage, problem analysis stage, goal setting stage (aims) and targets (objectives), action plans stage, the implementation stage of activities, and the evaluation stage. (2) the community empowerment model through the development of Salak Wedi Agrotourism conducted in Wedi Village is a bottom-up model. The model uses the concept of community participation in all empowerment processes because with participation in the community, the community is placed as a subject. In addition, the community development empowerment model is also used, which is an empowerment model that is carried out through the development of the potential of natural resources and human resources assisted by facilitators.

West Ungaran Subdistrict, especially Nyatyono, is a village that has local potential in the form of cultural assets with distinctive Islamic characteristics, namely the tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi. This study is intended to answer the following problems: 1). How is the development of an Islamic community based on local potential at the Tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi. 2). Is the development of an Islamic community based on local potential at the Tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi able to develop the condition of the community in Nyatyono village. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. As for how to collect data through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show: 1 The stages of developing an Islamic community based on local potential at the Tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi are carried out through the following stages: a) Preparation and identification, b) Determining the priority scale, c) Determining the direction and objectives in the implementation of activities, d) Identifying resources owned by the manager, e) Formulation and implementation of the list of activities and budgeting. 2 The results of the development of an Islamic community based on local potential at the tomb of Sheikh Hasan Munadi are: a) it can improve the economy of the Nyatyono village community, b) increase the religious spiritual understanding of the Nyatyono village community, c) increase the education sector of the Nyatyono village community, 4) increase in the social field, culture and health as well as the standard of living and economy of the Nyatyono village community

Penelitian ini membahas persepsi mad'u terhadap aktivitas dakwah yang dilakukan oleh KH. Subhan Ma'mun di Kabupaten Brebes. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi karakteristik mad'u KH. Subhan Ma'mun dan persepsi mereka terhadap dakwahnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan yang bersifat kualitatif. Pendekatan perbandingan dan psikologi digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi persepsi, pendapat, dan tanggapan mad'u terhadap dakwah KH. Subhan Ma'mun. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mad'u KH. Subhan Ma'mun memiliki karakteristik yang beragam. Pertama, mereka berasal dari berbagai desa dan Kabupaten. Kedua, rentang usia mad'u adalah 15 hingga 73 tahun. Ketiga, tingkat pendidikan mad'u bervariasi dari SD hingga perguruan tinggi. Keempat, mad'u memiliki berbagai profesi seperti wiraswasta, petani, pedagang, dan pengajar. Persepsi mad'u terhadap dakwah KH. Subhan Ma'mun menunjukkan kecenderungan untuk mengikuti kajian dakwah secara langsung (tatap muka). Dalam hal ini, mad'u mampu menerima dan memahami tausiyah, mengakui pengetahuan luas KH. Subhan Ma'mun, dan menghargai metode dakwah seperti bil-hikmah, mauidzah hasanah, mujadalah, serta kunjungan ke rumah mad'u. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan dakwah, seorang da'i harus memperhatikan karakteristik mad'u dalam memilih materi, metode, dan media berdakwah. Hal ini penting mengingat keragaman karakteristik mad'u yang ada.Â Â
