Abstract

The rapid transition to online learning, accelerated by the global pandemic, has significantly influenced students' satisfaction with their educational experiences, particularly among English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. This literature review aims to synthesize key themes related to EFL students' satisfaction in online learning environments. Employing a systematic literature review methodology, nine empirical studies were investigated based on rigorous inclusion criteria, ensuring a comprehensive analysis of the topic. Thematic analysis was utilized to identify and interpret emerging themes from the selected studies. The findings indicate that EFL students' satisfaction is shaped by six critical factors, namely facilities, flexibility, interaction, instructor quality, learning outcomes, and the overall learning environment. Each of these factors plays a pivotal role in enhancing or detracting from the online learning experience. The discussion highlights the interconnectedness of these elements, suggesting that a holistic approach is necessary for improving student satisfaction in the online learning context. Educational institutions and instructors must prioritize these factors to optimize online learning experiences. The results highlights the importance of adapting teaching methodologies to meet the evolving needs of EFL students in a digital landscape. Future research should explore the long-term implications of these findings, particularly in developing innovative strategies that foster engagement and satisfaction in online learning contexts. By addressing these areas, stakeholders can significantly enhance the quality of online education, ensuring it remains effective and responsive to student needs in the post-pandemic era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development, effectiveness, challenges, and research gaps in the implementation of anti-corruption education globally during the 2015–2025 period. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework, the study systematically identified, evaluated, and synthesized 37 peer-reviewed articles indexed in the Scopus database. The findings indicate a significant increase in both academic publications and the implementation of anti-corruption education programs worldwide. These programs adopt diverse approaches, including curriculum integration, the use of digital media, and participatory learning strategies. Evidence of program effectiveness is reflected in behavioral changes and long-term social impacts reported in several studies. However, the review also reveals persistent challenges: cultural (social norms tolerant of corruption), structural (absence of national standards or policy frameworks), and technical (limited access to technological infrastructure). Furthermore, the research landscape shows notable gaps, such as the lack of longitudinal studies, minimal focus on vulnerable groups (e.g., children with disabilities), and underutilization of emerging tools like artificial intelligence (AI) and big data analytics. Future research is recommended to adopt interdisciplinary perspectives, develop context-based learning modules, and leverage advanced technologies to enhance engagement and scalability. Overall, the findings highlight the urgency of implementing holistic and adaptive strategies to strengthen the role of education in combating corruption at various levels of society.

Abstract

This study addresses the limited comprehensive understanding of emotional intelligence (EI) in educational settings. It aims to systematically review literature on the relationship between EI, academic achievement, and student well-being. A systematic literature review was conducted using predefined criteria, incorporating 2020–2025 studies indexed in Google Scholar and analyzed using Harzing's Publish or Perish and VOSviewer. Meta-analysis results reveal a significant positive correlation between EI and both academic performance and psychological well-being. Students with high EI demonstrate greater emotional regulation, self-esteem, and resilience. Moreover, positive teacher-student relationships and supportive learning environments amplify these effects. Despite the findings, limitations such as reliance on self-report data and underexplored cultural factors persist. Future research should implement longitudinal and diverse methodological approaches to deepen the understanding of EI's impact on holistic student development.
