Abstract

Solid waste management at the elementary school level remains a crucial issue due to low student awareness and a lack of adequate educational media. This study aimed to design and implement an eco-project in the form of bamboo waste bins as an educational medium for waste management to enhance students’ environmental awareness. Bamboo was chosen for its eco-friendly properties, easy availability, and familiarity in students’ daily lives. These attributes were expected to bridge the gap between the ideals of environmental education and real-world practices in schools. The study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving teachers and students at every stage (planning, implementation, observation, and reflection). Evaluation instruments included interviews, observations, and documentation to assess student engagement and behavioral change. The project resulted in four functional bamboo waste bins installed at strategic points around the school. Field findings indicated positive support from teachers and students, improved discipline in proper waste disposal, and the emergence of collective awareness to maintain cleanliness. Teacher role modeling proved essential in strengthening social norms, while active student participation in maintaining the facilities fostered a shared sense of ownership. This eco-project was effective as both a contextual learning tool and a means of cultivating a culture of environmental care. The study contributes to environmental education literature by emphasizing the importance of integrating place-based education, experiential learning, and ecological citizenship. ABSTRAKPengelolaan sampah di tingkat sekolah dasar masih menjadi isu krusial karena rendahnya kesadaran siswa dan minimnya media edukatif yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menerapkan ecoproject berupa pembuatan tempat sampah dari bambu sebagai media edukasi pengelolaan sampah guna meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan siswa. Bambu dipilih sebagai bahan karena ramah lingkungan, mudah diperoleh, dan akrab dengan keseharian siswa; dengan demikian diharapkan dapat menjembatani kesenjangan antara idealisme pendidikan lingkungan dan praktik nyata di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan melibatkan guru dan siswa pada setiap tahap (perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi). Instrumen evaluasi berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk menilai tingkat keterlibatan siswa serta perubahan perilaku. Ecoproject ini menghasilkan empat unit tempat sampah bambu fungsional yang ditempatkan di titik strategis sekolah. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan dukungan positif dari guru dan siswa, peningkatan disiplin dalam membuang sampah pada tempatnya, dan tumbuhnya kesadaran kolektif menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Keteladanan guru menjadi faktor penting yang memperkuat norma sosial, sedangkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam merawat fasilitas memupuk rasa memiliki bersama. Ecoproject ini efektif sebagai media pembelajaran kontekstual sekaligus sarana membangun budaya peduli lingkungan. Studi ini berkontribusi pada literatur pendidikan lingkungan dengan menegaskan pentingnya integrasi konsep place-based education, experiential learning, dan ecological citizenship.

Abstract

Pendidikan seni rupa di sekolah dasar memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan karakter dan kreativitas siswa. Efektivitas pembelajarannya sering kali terhambat oleh berbagai tantangan, terutama di sekolah-sekolah yang berada di daerah pedesaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru mengenai tantangan yang mereka hadapi serta strategi yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar pedesaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi, dengan partisipan 12 guru sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Enrekang yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur untuk menggali pengalaman guru terkait bentuk-bentuk tantangan dalam pembelajaran serta strategi adaptif yang mereka terapkan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan alat dan bahan, rendahnya kompetensi guru dalam bidang seni rupa, minimnya pelatihan, rendahnya minat siswa pada aspek teori, kondisi ekonomi keluarga, serta ketidaksesuaian kurikulum dengan konteks pedesaan. Adapun strategi yang diterapkan guru meliputi pemanfaatan bahan alam sekitar, penggunaan metode dan pendekatan kontekstual, serta pembelajaran berbasis praktik yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi sekolah. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya dukungan fasilitas, pelatihan guru, serta pengembangan pembelajaran seni rupa yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of good corporate governance components—specifically the board of commissioners, sharia supervisory board, audit committee, and institutional ownership—on the performance of Islamic banks. The research focuses on Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia over the 2014–2018 period. The data were obtained from the annual reports of selected banks using a purposive sampling method. A multiple linear regression approach was employed, supported by classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing through regression analysis. The findings indicate that the combined implementation of good corporate governance components has a significant effect on the performance of Islamic banks. Among the individual variables, the audit committee shows a strong association with improved bank performance, highlighting the importance of oversight functions in supporting operational efficiency and accountability. In contrast, the board of commissioners, sharia supervisory board, and institutional ownership did not individually show a meaningful impact on performance during the observed period. The implications of this study suggest that while governance mechanisms are crucial, their effectiveness may vary depending on the role and function of each component. Strengthening the role of audit committees in Islamic banking could enhance financial discipline and transparency. Furthermore, regulatory bodies and stakeholders may need to reassess the effectiveness of other governance elements to better align them with the unique principles of sharia banking. These insights contribute to a deeper understanding of governance dynamics in Islamic financial institutions and support efforts to improve corporate governance practices in the sector.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dan layanan cloud seperti AWS Cloud menghadirkan peluang untuk pemantauan lingkungan secara real time pada destinasi wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan system monitoring iklim dan cuaca berbasis IoT dengan integrasi AWS Cloud di area wisata Lau Kawar, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara. Sistem terdiri dari sensor suhu, kelembapan, tekanan udara, dan curah hujan yang terhubung ke modul mikrokontroler (misalnyaESP32) dan mengirim data melalui koneksi Wi-Fi ke AWS IoT Core. Data disimpan di layanan database dan divisualisasikan melalui dashboard web/mobile. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memonitor parameter lingkungan dengan latensi rendah (< 2 menit) dan akurasi cukup baik untuk mendukung keputusan pengelola wisata terkait kenyamanan pengunjung dan mitigasi kondisi cuaca ekstrim. Dengan demikian, penerapan IoT + Cloud dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk pengelolaan destinasi wisata berbasis data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya menjaga lingkungan dan memiliki sikap kepedulian terhadap lingkungan alam yang rusak serta makhluk hidup lain yang terancam kehidupannya akibat dari aktivitas manusia. Perilaku kepedulian peserta didik terhadap lingkungan di kelas IX-B tergolong dalam kategori rendah, hal tersebut dilihat dari permasalahan yang ditemukan yaitu banyaknya sampah disekitar kelas baik itu di dalam ruangan maupun di luar kelas. Oleh karena itu peserta didik perlu meningkatkan kecerdasan ekologis terutama pada aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan partisipasi peserta didik terhadap lingkungan. Pembuatan konten kreatif mengenai kearifan ekologis masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa merupakan salah satu upaya untuk membangun kecerdasan ekologis peserta didik. Kajian utama penelitian ini adalah identifikasi nilai-nilai kearifan ekologis masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa, hasil identifikasi dibuatkan konten berupa video yang di upload ke media sosial youtube sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran kelas IX-B. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa memiliki kearifan ekologis yang dapat dijadikan konten kreatif youtube sebagai media belajar IPS meliputi nilai pelestarian hutan, nilai pelestarian sungai, mitigasi bencana, dan pola konsumsi ramah lingkungan. Implementasi penggunaan konten kreatif youtube tentang kearifan ekologis masyarakat kampung adat Ciptarasa dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran menunjukkan hasil yang bagus. Peserta didik memiliki rasa peduli terhadap lingkungan dan alam dan berempati terhadap mahluk hidup dan alam. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan supaya dijadikan rujukan bagi pengembangan pembelajaran IPS yang menggunakan konten kreatif youtube berbasis budaya diberbagai sekolah.

Abstract

Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Provinsi Sumatera Utara memiliki peran strategis dalam menjaga stabilitas politik dan sosial di daerah, termasuk memastikan alokasi anggaran program secara tepat sasaran. Tantangan yang dihadapi adalah kompleksitas program yang harus didanai dengan sumber daya terbatas, sehingga proses penentuan prioritas anggaran rentan terhadap subjektivitas dan ketidakefisienan. Maka dari itu, Penelitian ini menawarkan solusi melalui pengembangan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis metode Preference Selection Index (PSI) dan Rank Order Centroid (ROC). Metode PSI digunakan untuk melakukan perengkingan alternatif berdasarkan nilai preferensi tiap kriteria, sedangkan metode ROC digunakan untuk menghitung bobot kriteria secara objektif dari urutan kepentingannya. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode PSI dan ROC dapat meningkatkan keakuratan, efisiensi, dan transparansi proses penentuan prioritas alokasi anggaran.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of student learning motivation in Fiqh subjects, characterized by minimal active participation and suboptimal learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the strategies of Fiqh teachers in implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze its impact on student learning motivation at MTsN 1 Mesuji. This study employs a qualitative approach with a field research design, selecting informants through purposive sampling, including Fiqh teachers, the vice-principal for curriculum, and students. Data collection techniques included structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and the data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results show that Fiqh teachers' strategies for implementing CTL are carried out systematically through planning, implementation, and evaluation, integrating the principles of constructivism, inquiry, learning community, modeling, and authentic assessment. The implementation of CTL proved effective in enhancing student learning motivation, evidenced by increased activeness in discussions, willingness to ask questions, and enthusiasm in learning practices, alongside a significant increase in average test scores exceeding the minimum mastery criteria. The main supporting factors include madrasah policies and student enthusiasm, while inhibiting factors include time constraints and large class sizes. In conclusion, the CTL model serves as an effective strategic driver for increasing student engagement and learning motivation in Fiqh education.

Abstract

Soil permeability value for every construction is different. Such differences affect the strength of acivil construction to be built. Therefore it is necessary to attempt to manipulate the soilpermeability value by adding the additive to a soil permeability values obtained in order to meetthe standard of civil construction to be built. Among the many additives are used as soilstabilization materials, one of them is rice husk ash. Some recent researches in the field of CivilEngineering showed that rice husk ash mixture useful as a particularly clay soil stabilization.Because rice husk ash can fill the cavities that exist between the grains of ground.Soil samples tested in this study is clay derived from Perumahan Bhayangkara, KelurahanBeringin Jaya, Kecamatan Kemiling, Bandar Lampung. Rice husk ash used were obtained fromDusun Dantar, Kecamatan Padang Cermin, Kabupaten Pesawaran. This study was conducted todetermine the effect of rice husk ash to the soil permeability values.The results of analysis and calculations performed in the laboratory obtained averagepermeability value (k) for soil with 5% rice husk ash added, 10% rice husk ash added, and 15%rice husk ash added. The permeability value used to be compared with native soil (clay).Key words: clay, rice husk ash, permeability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the legal consequences of passing off in industrial design disputes with a case study of Court Decision Number 78/Pdt.Sus HKI/Desain Industri/2022/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst regarding suitcase generator products. Passing off is understood as the act of imitating or copying an industrial design legally owned by another party with the intention of obtaining unlawful profits through consumer confusion. The research method used is normative juridical, analysing relevant legislation, legal doctrine, and court decisions. The results of the study show that passing off has significant legal implications in the civil, administrative, and economic spheres. From a civil perspective, the defendant is required to stop the distribution of counterfeit products and may be liable for damages. From an administrative perspective, court decisions reinforce the exclusive rights of industrial design owners as a form of state protection. Meanwhile, from an economic and reputational perspective, design owners obtain compensation for material and immaterial losses caused by counterfeit products. These decisions also have a preventive effect on other businesses to respect the intellectual property rights of others. This study emphasises the importance of legal protection for industrial designs as an effort to maintain a healthy business climate, encourage creativity, and provide legal certainty for rights holders. However, the effectiveness of legal protection still faces challenges, particularly in relation to rampant violations even though the designs have been registered. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen law enforcement and increase business actors' legal awareness so that the protection of industrial designs in Indonesia can be optimised.

Abstract

The development of science and technology, especially in the field of neuroscience, has brought significant changes to the world of education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Neuroscience, as the study of the nervous system and brain, provides valuable insights into the learning process, which can be utilized to improve the effectiveness of PAI learning. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the neuroscience approach in PAI learning in class V of SDN 01 Gading Jaya. The research method used is a qualitative case study with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that neuroscience approaches, such as the use of instrumental music, brain gym, chunking strategies, and brain breaks, can increase students' motivation, understanding, and involvement in PAI learning. However, challenges such as limited time, supporting facilities, and differences in student learning styles are still obstacles. Proposed recommendations include teacher professional development, resource allocation, formation of a community of practitioners, classroom action research, and collaboration with parents. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of PAI learning models that are more effective and characteristic in the digital era
