Abstract

The purpose of this study is to conduct an in-depth examination of the personality competence of Arabic language teachers based on the principles of Islamic educational philosophy. This research employs a qualitative approach with a literature study method to analyze the personality competence of Arabic language teachers from the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy. Primary and secondary data were collected from classical and modern literature, including the works of al-Ghazali and policy documents. Data collection techniques involved document review and evaluation of sources based on their credibility and relevance. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive-analytical content analysis to interpret meanings and patterns within the texts, resulting in a profound philosophical understanding of the personality competence of Arabic language teachers. The findings indicate that Islamic educational philosophy positions Arabic language teachers as moral exemplars and spiritual guides. Personality competence encompasses tauhid (the oneness of God), moral integrity, emotional balance, professionalism, cultural wisdom, and commitment to spiritual development. By integrating Qur’anic values and language skills, teachers play a strategic role in shaping students’ faith, morality, and competencies, thereby making education holistic, relevant, and beneficial for the welfare of the community. These findings affirm that Arabic language teachers must develop personality competencies including tauhid, moral integrity, emotional balance, professionalism, cultural wisdom, and spiritual commitment. This is essential to realizing Arabic language learning that is holistic, meaningful, and aligned with the values of Islamic educational philosophy for the betterment of society.

Abstract

This study thoroughly examines the representation of female beauty in the Korean drama True Beauty using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic approach. The widespread phenomenon of the Korean Wave (Hallyu) in Indonesia has significantly impacted the construction of beauty standards, often creating social pressure, especially for teenagers and young women. True Beauty, which tells the story of Lim Ju Kyung's struggle to meet appearance expectations, serves as an interesting object for analysis. Utilizing Peirce's triadic framework (representamen, object, and interpretant), this study identifies how visual and verbal signs within the drama construct meaning. The analysis reveals that representamens, such as Ju Kyung's with her bare face, the act of self-makeup, the rejection of her bare face, and social acceptance, collectively refer to the object patriarchal Korean beauty standards demanding fair skin, a high nose bridge, and a slender physique. The resulting interpretants vary on one hand, viewers may perceive beauty as a condition for social acceptance and a source of anxiety, but on the other hand, the drama also presents alternative interpretants highlighting the importance of self- acceptance and resistance to narrow beauty standards. This study concludes that True Beauty not only reproduces dominant beauty norms but also creates space for critique and encourages critical media literacy regarding more inclusive representations of gender and body.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis tingkat kepuasan peserta ujian terhadap layanan seleksi UM-PTKIN dan SPAN-PTKIN tahun 2024. Fokus penelitian adalah mengukur kepuasan peserta serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan dengan melibatkan 50.000 responden yang dipilih secara stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala likert lima poin dan wawancara mendalam untuk memperoleh perspektif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 82% responden merasa puas atau sangat puas dengan layanan seleksi, terutama pada aspek kemudahan penggunaan sistem, kejelasan informasi, kualitas layanan panitia, dan fasilitas pendukung. Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa kejelasan informasi, kemudahan akses sistem, kualitas layanan panitia, dan fasilitas pendukung adalah determinan utama kepuasan. Namun, kelemahan seperti aksesibilitas sistem selama waktu puncak dan kurangnya efektivitas komunikasi melalui media sosial memerlukan perhatian. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya inovasi dan peningkatan kualitas layanan seleksi untuk meningkatkan pengalaman peserta serta memperkuat citra institusi. Rekomendasi strategis meliputi optimalisasi kapasitas sistem, pelatihan panitia, dan peningkatan komunikasi berbasis digital.

rauma resulting from violence often cannot be expressed directly in literary texts but instead emerges symbolically, hidden beneath the narrative. Nevertheless, through literature, Palestinian writers strive to record histories that are often overlooked by official narratives. This study aims to uncover the representation of trauma in Adania Shibli’s novel Tafṣīl Ṡānawī through A.J. Greimas’s narrative semiotics. The novel serves as a literary representation that reveals Zionist violence and its accompanying trauma within the context of Israel’s occupation of Palestine. Employing a qualitative-descriptive method with textual documentation, this research analyzes the actantial structure, spatial and temporal isotopies, and the inner structure through the semiotic square. The findings indicate that trauma in the novel is not only explicitly narrated but also symbolically manifested through spatial and temporal tensions and the interplay of actants within the story. Violence, the erasure of traces of violence, resistance, and the silencing of the narrator are represented within interlocking semiotic relations. This study demonstrates that trauma in the text is structural and transgenerational, functioning as a symbolic field of resistance against power exercised through cultural violence. The findings further suggest that literary works can function as archives of collective memory, open critical spaces for interpreting historical wounds, and underscore the importance of semiotic perspectives in reconstructing trauma that is not explicitly depicted in modern Arabic literature.

Abstract

Kitab Khazinatul Asrar merupakan kitab karya syaikh Muhammad Haqqi An-nazili. Isimya menjelaskan tentang keutamaan Al-Quran, yang masih jarang bagi para pelajar maupun pengajar yang membahas kitab tersebut disertai mengkaji Syair dari segi Ilmu Arudl dan Qawafi dan masih banyak dari kalangan kita selaku umat muslim yang belum mengetahui tentang keutamaan-keutamaan ayat Al-Quran yang sering kita baca setiap hari terutama surat Al-fatihah. Pada salah satu babnya didalam menjelaskan maksud dan tujuannya, pengarang menggunakan syair, yaitu pada bab Khashaishul Fatihah.Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis Zihaf, Ilat, Qafiyah, dan Amanat yang terdapat pada bab Khashaishul Fatihah dalam kitab Khazinatul Asrar.Didalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik, yaitu dengan cara menelaah dan mengkaji sumber data yang terdapat pada kitab Khazinatul Asrar karya syaikh Muhammad Haqqi An-nazili, sedangkan kajian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah ilmu ‘Arudl, Qawafi dan Amanat. Dari hasil analisis yang digunakan oleh peneliti terhadap kitab Khazinatul Asrar pada bab Khashaishul Fatihah dari segi ilmu ‘Arudl, Qawafi dan Amanat terdapat 4 syair dengan jumlah seluruhnya 46 bayt, peneliti menemukan data diantaranya : (1) Ilmu ‘Arudl : Zihaf Mufrad Ma’shub, Zihaf Mufrad Ma’qul, Zihaf Mufrad Maqbudh, Zihaf Muzdawaj Manqush, dan ‘Illat Naqsh. (2) Ilmu Qawafi : Jenis Qafiyah : Muthlaqoh, Muqoyyadah. Kata Qafiyah (sebagian kalimat). Huruf Qafiyah : Rawi, Ta’sis, Dakhil, Washal. Harakat Qafiyah : Majra, Taujih, Ras, Isyba’. Nama Qafiyah : Al-Mutawatir. (3) jenis amanat pada kitab Khazinatul Asrar Bab Khashaishul Fatihah  tentang Uluhiyyah (ketuhanan).

الملخصايماس فاطمة سيتياوتى: فكرة الحب في رواية اللون الآخر لإحسان عبد القدوس (دراسة التركيب الوراثي لوسيان جولدمان)أحد الموضوعات التى يتم تضمينها في الأعمال الأدبيةً، هي موضوع المحبة ،التى يحفذ ها الفكرات المختلفة ومعان شتى. ويعبر الأدباء منهم إحسان عبد القدوس وهو قد الف العمل الأدب الرواية "اللون الآخر" بشكل جيد وبديع . استخدم إحسان شخصية فتاة مصرية اسمها مرفت وشاب سوداني اسمه حسن، لكشف فكرة الحب بين شخصين مختلفين ، و اللون البشرة المختلفة.وأغراض هذه البحث هى وصف فكرة ونظر العالم المؤلف فى روايته "العيون الآخر". يستخدم هذا البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي المكتبة والتوثيقية مناسبة لنظريةوقررت الباحثة نتائج هذالبحث فيما : ١) فكرة الحب فى الرواية اللون الآخر هو ان الحب الموضوع الرئيسي، وبجناب دلك فيه الموضوعات الثانوية وهي موضوع الأنسية وموضوع العنصرية. ٢) واما نظر العالم المؤلف ان الحب دينية انسية ان فيها التعارف و العدالة  والمساوة وكفائة الشخصية This research discusses the conception of love in Al-Laun Al-Ãkhar novel by Ihsan Abdul Quds. It tells about the story of separation, which is inspired by cultural differences between Egypt and Sudan. The novel's main character is Mirfat - an Egyptian girl - who married Hasan Babakar Faqia - a Sudanese young man studying at Cairo University, Egypt. This study aims to describe the l. Abstract

Peran laki-laki dalam mengatur perempuan bukan hanya terjadi di dunia nyata namun hal tersebut terjadi pula di dalam karya sastra khususnya pada masyarakat Mesir dalam Novel Wa Nasitu Anni Imraah karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui unsur struktural berupa alur, tokoh dan penokohan serta latar dan untuk mengetahui ideologi patriarki yang melliputi subordinasi, stereotipe dan kekerasan gender. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data berupa novel yang berjudul Wa Nasitu Anni Imraah karya Ihsan Abdul Quddus. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan adanya unsur struktural berupa alur, tokoh dan penokohan serta latar dan juga menemukan ideologi patriarki berupa subordinasi, stereotipe dan kesetaraan gender. Ideologi patriarki yang muncul dalam masyarakat tersebut dapat membatasi gerak perempuan, baik dalam ranah domestik maupun dalam ranah publik.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Qur’an-Hadith teachers in improving students’ Qur’anic reading abilities at MI Al-Mustariyah Panongan, an Islamic elementary school. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data through semi-structured interviews with selected teachers to understand their instructional strategies, challenges, and contributions to Qur’anic literacy. Findings reveal that teachers use student-centered methods such as iqra’ and talaqqi, combined with spiritual mentorship and motivational support, to help students overcome difficulties in recognizing Arabic letters, applying tajweed rules, and developing fluency and comprehension. The study also highlights the importance of a supportive learning environment fostered by positive teacher-student interactions, collaboration with parents and school leaders, and the use of interactive media. Continuous professional development is identified as essential for enhancing teaching effectiveness. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of integrated teaching practices that promote Qur’anic literacy in primary Islamic education, offering valuable insights for educators and institutions aiming to improve Qur’anic reading skills among young learners.

Abstract

The study of language, commonly referred to as linguistics, encompasses various subfields, one of which is pragmatics. Within pragmatics, there are further areas of study, including deixis. Deixis is an essential aspect often used in both oral and written communication, such as in hikayat (classical Malay literary works). Hikayat is a type of written literary work widely read for its moral lessons, including in the Hikayat Hadis Ketiga from the book al-Mawa'izh al-Ushfuriyah. This study aims to identify the forms and contextual meanings of personal deixis in the Hikayat Hadis Ketiga of the book al-Mawa'izh al-Ushfuriyah. The research method employed is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The data consists of personal deixis found in the Hikayat Hadis Ketiga. Data collection was carried out using the listening and note-taking techniques. The data analysis process involved reading, identifying, categorizing, analyzing, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the Hikayat Hadits Ketiga from al-Mawa'izh al-Ushfuriyah predominantly uses third-person deixis compared to first and second-person deixis. The most frequently used third-person deixis includes dlomir bariz muttashil (ه) and dlomir moustatir jawaz (هو), which mostly refer to Ali Ra. and the Prophet Muhammad Saw.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penokohan dan pesan moral dalam Jaros Andzar karya Khalid Fahad dengan menggunakan pendekatan strukturalisme. Pendekatan ini berfokus pada unsur intrinsik karya sastra, khususnya penokohan dan pesan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan langsung terhadap dialog dan adegan dalam film. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan teori struktural, yaitu dengan mengelompokkan tokoh berdasarkan peran, sifat, dan fungsinya dalam alur cerita, serta mengidentifikasi pesan moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, diri sendiri, dan orang lain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film ini memiliki berbagai jenis tokoh, meliputi tokoh protagonis, antagonis, tokoh bulat, tokoh statis, tokoh sederhana, dan tokoh tipikal. Pesan moral yang teridentifikasi meliputi tiga kategori utama: (1) hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, yang menekankan pentingnya berdoa dan beriman di tengah situasi sulit; (2) hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri, yang menonjolkan introspeksi dan tanggung jawab; dan (3) hubungan manusia dengan sesama, yang menonjolkan nilai persahabatan dan kepedulian sosial. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Jaros Andzar merupakan film yang tidak hanya menyajikan kisah emosional dan konflik remaja, tetapi juga mengandung pesan moral yang relevan dengan kondisi sosial saat ini.
