Abstract

The problem behind this research is the imbalance between the capacity offered and the capacity demanded by the community, resulting in uncontrolled rice prices, so it is necessary to predict rice price in the future to monitor the stability of rice prices in the Lubuklinggau City area. In this study, the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) method was used to predict future rice prices. The sample used in this study is data on rice price in Lubuklinggau City from January 2016 to December 2020. The result of the prediction of rice price in the Lubuklinggau City area for the next five years. With the accuracy value in rice price predictions based on MSE training, numely 99,9037% and based on the MSE test that is 99,8784%. While the accuracy values of rice price predictions based on MAPE training and testing are 93,2997% and 88,2782%, respectively. For the accuracy value of rice price prediction result based on the MSE and MAPE values respectively namely 99,8935% and 92,9212%. It can be concluded that the ANFIS method is very effectively used for the process of predicting a price or value in the future

Abstract

Porang tubers are one of the foodstuffs rich in glucomannan content. Glucomannan is widely used in various industrial fields, one of which is pharmaceuticals. To produce pure glucomannan compounds, the method of isolating glucomannan using a two-phase water system (ATPS) solvent has been widely used. One option is isolation with a two-phase water system (ATPS) of inorganic salts ammonium sulfate and ethanol at various concentrations. This study focuses on optimizing the concentration ratio of ammonium sulfate and ethanol for the glucomannan extraction process, carried out with a factorial design and continued analysis with a response surface methodology (RSM) approach. The results of the experimental design at the composition of ammonium sulfate concentration of 17.07% w/w and ethanol of 27.07% w/w showed optimal dry extract acquisition in the two-phase water system (ATPS), with a yield of 81.07%. Characterization of the results of porang flour extract with FTIR produced stretching vibrations of the O-H group at 3427.51 cm-1 and C-O-C (glycosidic bond) at 1020.34 cm-1 and bending vibrations of the -CH functional group at 864.11 cm-1, which are specific values ​​for glucomannan compounds and using visible spectrophotometry, the glucomannan concentration was obtained at 32.67%.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of media exposure from the Instagram account @infocegatansukoharjo on the dissemination of information to its followers. This study was motivated by the growing role of Instagram as a local digital communication medium capable of delivering information quickly, conveniently, and in a way that meets the needs of the Sukoharjo community. This study employs a quantitative approach using an online survey of 114 respondents who are followers of the @infocegatansukoharjo account. Media exposure was measured using the indicators of frequency, duration, and attention, while information delivery was measured using information satisfaction, self-identity, integration, and entertainment. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results show that media exposure has a positive and significant effect on information delivery, with a significance value of 0.000, a t-value of 11.489, and a coefficient of determination of 54.1%. These findings indicate that the @infocegatansukoharjo account plays a crucial role in strengthening the dissemination of local information via Instagram.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of E7018 electrode angle variations at 60°, 75°, and 90° on the tensile strength of SMAW welded joints on JIS G3101 SS400 steel applied as roof frame components of the Koperasi Merah Putih. SS400 steel is one of the most widely used structural materials in building construction due to its adequate mechanical properties and ease of welding. The SMAW process was selected for its flexibility and efficiency in field applications. Welding was performed using an E7018 electrode with a diameter of 3.2 mm at a constant current of 100 A, V-groove 45° joint preparation, 1G flat position, and a material thickness of 6 mm. The research method employed is a quantitative experimental approach with tensile testing conducted in accordance with the ASTM E8 standard. Each electrode angle variation used three specimens, resulting in a total of nine test specimens that were consistently prepared and tested. The test results indicate that the 75° electrode angle produced the highest tensile strength of 429.33 MPa, followed by the 90° angle at 388.00 MPa, and the lowest value recorded at the 60° angle with 370.33 MPa. These differences in tensile strength values are attributed to the influence of electrode angle on the quality of weld penetration and fusion formed during the welding process. The 75° electrode angle proved to produce the most optimal penetration and fusion, and is therefore recommended as the best welding parameter for SS400 steel roof frame components using the SMAW process.

Abstract

Application of Image Processing Technology for Physical Assessment and Progress Monitoring of Cluster Projects in Bsd City. The construction industry often faces challenges in project monitoring due to subjective assessments, inefficiencies, and risks of data manipulation. This study introduces a vision-based inspection system utilizing image processing and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to automate progress evaluation in the Enchante BSD City housing project, specifically on foundation and column works. Field images were collected and processed through augmentation, pre-processing, and feature extraction, then used to train an EfficientNet model. The model achieved outstanding results with 100% accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, validated through both testing datasets and real field experiments. A prototype web-based application was also developed to integrate the AI model into a practical monitoring tool. The findings demonstrate that this approach can provide real-time, objective, and reliable progress evaluation, offering a promising solution to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in construction project management.

Abstract

Social media has evolved into an important platform for influencers to promote various products, including those from luxury brands. Influencers such as Tasya Farasya, who has a large following on Instagram, play a big role in influencing consumer behavior, including purchase intention towards luxury products. This study aims to analyze the effect of Tasya Farasya's content exposure on the purchase intention of luxury brands on her Instagram followers in the period October to December 2023. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through online questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The variables studied include content exposure (frequency, duration, and attention) as the independent variable, and purchase intention as the dependent variable. The data obtained were then analyzed using linear regression. The results showed that Tasya Farasya's content exposure did not have a significant influence on the purchase intention of luxury brands, with a contribution of only 6.3%. The more dominant factors in influencing purchase intention are external factors such as price, product quality, and personal motivation, which together contribute 93.7%. The conclusion of this study is that although exposure to influencer content has a slight contribution to purchase intention, external factors are more decisive in the purchase decision of luxury products. The findings provide insights for marketers on the importance of considering other factors beyond influencer content in designing luxury product marketing strategies

Abstract

Abstract The rapid growth of social media, particularly video-based platforms like TikTok, has transformed the way consumers, especially younger generations, obtain information and make purchasing decisions. These platforms are utilized by various brands, including Whitelab, to deliver engaging and informative promotional content aimed at shaping perceptions and boosting consumer purchase interest. The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of Whitelab’s TikTok content on purchase interest in skincare products among students in the Faculty of Communication and Informatics (FKI) at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The research method employed in this study is a quantitative approach. The study population consists of 2024 FKI students at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta who actively use the TikTok app. The research sample consisted of 150 FKI UMS students from the class of 2024 who follow the Whitelab TikTok account. Data collection was conducted via an online questionnaire consisting of two sections: one to measure the level of exposure to Whitelab’s TikTok content and the other to measure interest in purchasing skincare products. The research instrument utilized a Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software with simple linear regression and t-tests. The results of this study indicate that Whitelab’s TikTok content has a positive and significant impact on the purchase intent of skincare products among 2024 FKI UMS students. Engaging, informative, and relevant content has been proven to shape positive perceptions, build trust, and drive the desire to purchase, particularly among students as active social media users. This demonstrates that social media, particularly TikTok, plays a crucial role as a digital marketing tool in influencing the behavior of the younger generation. Thus, effective TikTok content can serve as a marketing communication strategy capable of increasing consumer purchase intent, especially among students as active social media users. Keywords: Content; purchasing interest; TikTok; whitelab.   Abstrak Perkembangan pesat media sosial, khususnya platform berbasis video seperti TikTok, telah mengubah cara konsumen, terutama generasi muda, dalam memperoleh informasi dan mengambil keputusan pembelian. Platform ini dimanfaatkan oleh berbagai merek, termasuk Whitelab, untuk menyampaikan konten promosi yang menarik dan informatif guna membangun persepsi serta meningkatkan minat beli konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis pengaruh konten TikTok Whitelab terhadap minat beli produk skincare di kalangan mahasiswa Fakultas Komunikasi dan Informatika (FKI) Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian mencakup mahasiswa FKI Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta angkatan 2024 yang aktif menggunakan aplikasi TikTok. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 150 mahasiswa FKI UMS angkatan 2024 yang mengikuti akun TikTok Whitelab. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner online yang terdiri atas dua bagian, yaitu untuk mengukur tingkat paparan terhadap konten TikTok Whitelab dan minat beli produk skincare. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan program SPSS dengan metode regresi linier sederhana dan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini ialah konten TikTok Whitelab memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan pada minat beli produk skincare pada mahasiswa FKI UMS Angkatan 2024. Konten yang menarik, informatif, dan relevan terbukti mampu membentuk persepsi positif, menumbuhkan kepercayaan, serta mendorong keinginan untuk membeli, terutama pada mahasiswa sebagai pengguna aktif media sosial. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial, khususnya TikTok, memiliki peran penting sebagai sarana pemasaran digital dalam memengaruhi perilaku konsumen generasi muda. Dengan demikian, konten TikTok yang efektif dapat menjadi strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang mampu meningkatkan minat beli konsumen, terutama di kalangan mahasiswa sebagai pengguna aktif media sosial. Abstract

Livestock health, particularly of cattle, is a crucial factor in the livestock industry as it directly affects productivity and animal welfare. However, health monitoring in the field is still largely conducted manually, leading to delays in early disease detection and increasing the risk of economic loss for farmers. This study aims to develop and evaluate a cattle health prediction model using a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) approach based on physiological sensor data such as body temperature, heart rate, and physical activity. The data were collected in real time using Internet of Things (IoT) technology at a farm located in Tanah Periuk Village, Musi Rawas Regency. The results show that the developed RNN model achieved an accuracy of 98.88%, precision of 0.99, and recall of 0.99, indicating high performance in detecting potential cattle health issues. These findings are expected to provide a practical solution for farmers to support timely and accurate decision-making and improve overall livestock welfare.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the Industry 4.0 era has driven significant changes in how organizations utilize data to support strategic decision-making. Data utilization is no longer limited to transaction recording but has shifted toward data processing as a source of predictive information that plays an important role in competitive business management. The urgency of this research is reinforced by the relatively low level of adoption of data-driven analytical systems among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, including the outdoor equipment rental sector. In the modern business environment, decision-making can no longer rely solely on intuition but must be supported by data and predictive analysis to improve efficiency and competitiveness. Therefore, the development of a Smart Inventory Management system based on Business Intelligence, implementing the Apriori and FP-Growth algorithms at SAVANA Outdoor Store, is expected to provide automatic recommendations for inventory requirements based on real and representative historical transaction patterns. Based on the results of processing outdoor equipment rental data using the Apriori algorithm with a confidence value of 68%, several association rules were obtained, indicating a tendency of dissimilar borrowing patterns (mutually exclusive relationships) among certain types of equipment. Meanwhile, the processing results using the FP-Growth algorithm demonstrated better performance. This algorithm successfully generated a total of 21 association rules, with the top ten rules having confidence values ranging from 70% to 72%.
