Abstract

Abstract This community engagement program aims to empower Sulam Angkinan artisans in Kampung Sunan, Sungai Lais, Palembang, through branding enhancement and digital journalism strategies on social media. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, the activities consisted of participatory workshops and direct mentoring in content production for Instagram and TikTok. The program resulted in improved visual branding awareness, digital storytelling skills, and stronger online exposure, allowing artisans to present cultural identity and promote products more effectively. This empowerment model demonstrates that integrating local heritage with digital culture can increase visibility and create economic sustainability for small-scale artisans. Abstract

Developments in the economic sector will increase the production and consumption power of society. If consumers suffer losses, economic agents are obliged to be able to provide compensation for the products sold to consumers. The UUPK provides for alternative dispute resolution outside the judicial system, namely through the Non-Governmental Consumer Protection Agency (LPKSM). Settlement of consumer disputes in LPKSM with a voluntary self-regulation mechanism or self-regulation as an effort to regulate, control, evaluate, select and determine a performance that will certainly minimise or reduce the number of disputes that go to the Consumer Disputes Board (BPSK) or the District Court. The research method uses normative legal research by tracing literature studies using a normative legal approach in order to obtain new perceptions of the situation by providing a new form of concept in resolving consumer disputes at LPKSM. The concept of the LPKSM's Voluntary Self-Regulation Mechanism is designed to help various parties, especially business actors and consumers, quickly and inexpensively to resolve disputes at the lowest level before they reach the BPSK or the courts. As a form of voluntary self-regulation, mediation is the right method to implement the principle of equality before the law. The LPKSM acts as a third party, an outsider who is declared to be neutral (impartial) and who helps the parties to come to an agreement. The benefits of resolving consumer disputes are quick, inexpensive and confidential, and can even be described as a win-win solution, set out in a joint peace deed.

Abstract

The convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and green marketing has become a pivotal topic in shaping sustainable consumer behavior amid global digital transformation and environmental challenges. However, previous studies remain fragmented, focusing separately on technological efficiency or environmental ethics without providing an integrated understanding of their intersection. This study aims to map and analyze global research trends on the integration of AI and green marketing strategies in influencing sustainable consumer behavior. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by the PRISMA protocol, this research systematically identified, screened, and synthesized peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2025 across leading academic databases such as Scopus and Google Scholar. The analysis reveals an evolutionary trajectory of research from conceptual frameworks and ethical foundations toward data-driven personalization, transparency, and algorithmic accountability. Findings show that AI is increasingly recognized not only as a technological enabler but also as a strategic and ethical catalyst capable of enhancing consumer awareness, credibility, and engagement in sustainability-oriented marketing ecosystems. This synthesis highlights a paradigm shift where intelligent systems contribute to behavioral transformation by aligning digital innovation with ecological responsibility. The study concludes that integrating AI and green marketing provides a new framework for ethical, data-informed, and sustainability-driven marketing practices that support both environmental goals and consumer well-being.

Abstract

Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) Number 1 of 2019 regulates the mechanism of electronic administration and trials, including provisions regarding electronic summons as stated in Article 18. However, the phrases “valid” and “appropriate,” which are requirements for the validity of electronic summonses, do not yet have clear conceptual boundaries, giving rise to potential differences in interpretation and legal uncertainty in judicial practice. This study aims to analyze the meaning and normative limitations of the terms “valid” and “appropriate” in the context of electronic summons by reviewing the construction of regulations, doctrines, judicial principles, and their application in court. Using a normative juridical method through a regulatory, conceptual, and case-based approach, this study finds that the validity of electronic summons must be understood as the fulfillment of formal procedures and authentication of the identity of the summoned party, while appropriateness relates to the accuracy of the electronic address, the deadline for delivery, and the accessibility of information by the party concerned. From the perspective of the principle of legal certainty, a clear interpretation of these two terms is an important prerequisite for ensuring the protection of the rights of the parties and preventing procedural disputes in the electronic trial process. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate more detailed guidelines so that the implementation of electronic summons meets the standards of legal certainty, effectiveness, and fairness.

Abstract

This study examines the legal status of the shareholders agreement, which regulates the quorum of the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) differently from the provisions of the Limited Liability Company Law (UUPT) and the Company's Articles of Association (AD), with a case study of a share ownership dispute and the implementation of the GMS at PT Indo Mineralita Prima. The dispute began with the sale and purchase of shares based on a share pledge agreement, which then resulted in a secret transfer of ownership and the implementation of the GMS without notification to one of the shareholders. The shareholders had previously agreed to a shareholders agreement that required that changes to the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners must be approved by 100% of the shareholders. However, in practice, some shareholders made changes to the company's structure, share transfers, and capital increases without following these provisions. This gave rise to a lawsuit for breach of contract by PT Investasi Internasional Indonesia, as the 28% shareholder, who felt aggrieved due to share dilution and decision-making without a valid quorum. The Panel of Judges in its decision stated that the defendants had committed a breach of contract and annulled several GMS deeds as a result of the violation of the shareholders agreement. However, the author's analysis shows that the shareholder agreement cannot override the Company Law and the Articles of Association, so that the 100% quorum requirement, which is not regulated in the Articles of Association, is not binding on the company. Therefore, the shareholder agreement is only legally binding on the parties as long as it does not conflict with statutory regulations and the Articles of Association. This research emphasizes the importance of harmonizing private shareholder agreements and corporate law to create legal certainty in corporate governance.

Abstract

This study examines legal uncertainty in the resolution of employment termination disputes resulting from the absence of regulation on the extraordinary legal remedy of judicial review (Peninjauan Kembali) under Law Number 2 of 2004 on the Settlement of Industrial Relations Disputes. The research gap lies in the lack of normative analysis explaining the legal rationale and implications of excluding judicial review, despite its recognition in general civil procedural law and judicial practice. This study offers novelty by conceptualizing the exclusion of judicial review as a deliberate legislative policy to ensure finality and expedited dispute resolution in industrial relations. Employing a normative legal research method with statutory and conceptual approaches, the study finds that positioning cassation as the final and binding legal remedy is intended to provide legal certainty and prevent prolonged disputes. Legal protection for workers is achieved when cassation decisions consistently deliver clear legal reasoning and definitive rulings on the fulfillment of workers’ normative rights. Accordingly, consistent treatment of cassation as the ultimate legal remedy is essential to ensuring legal certainty and effective legal protection in employment termination disputes.

Abstract

Indoor air quality issues are increasing due to high exposure to pollutants such as carbon monoxide (CO) and PM2.5 particulates, especially in buildings located near highways. Most air control devices are still operated manually or continuously without considering actual conditions, making them inefficient and unresponsive to changes in air quality. This study designed an Arduino-based air quality control system capable of real-time monitoring and automatic control using MQ-7, PMS5003, and PIR sensors. The method employed was a prototype approach that included hardware design, microcontroller programming, and system function testing using black-box testing. The testing scenarios included conditions where CO and PM2.5 levels exceeded thresholds, human presence detection, and a combination of all parameters in two test rooms. The test results showed that the system was able to respond well to all scenarios, with the exhaust fan activating according to the predetermined control logic. Based on the analysis of the test results, the system achieved a 100% success rate in all scenarios tested and was able to display real-time air quality information via LCD. This study proves that the Arduino-based control system can work effectively in automatically maintaining indoor air quality and is an easy-to-implement solution.

Abstract

Corporate bankruptcy is a legal condition that directly affects the continuity of employment relationships between employers and workers/laborers. In practice, workers often find themselves in a weak position when a company is declared bankrupt, particularly regarding the fulfillment of normative rights such as wages, severance pay, and employment social security. Although statutory regulations grant workers a special status as preferred creditors, the implementation of these rights frequently encounters various legal and administrative obstacles. This situation creates legal uncertainty and potential injustice for workers/laborers. This study aims to analyze the legal protection of workers’ rights in companies declared bankrupt, as well as the legal standing of workers in bankruptcy proceedings under the applicable laws and regulations. The research method used is normative juridical research with statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. The findings show that although workers are positioned as preferred creditors, in practice workers’ rights are often not optimally fulfilled due to conflicts of interest with other creditors and the limited value of the bankruptcy estate. Therefore, stronger regulations and consistent law enforcement are needed to ensure fair protection of workers’ rights.
