Abstract

This program aimed to enhance STEM education at SDN Bringinan, Jambon, Ponorogo, by integrating PhET Interactive Simulations. The program focused on two main topics: energy transfer and energy transformations. Students from grades 4, 5, and 6 were divided into groups and guided by facilitators to explore these concepts using PhET. The program began with problem identification through discussions with the school's Principal and teachers, followed by careful planning and execution over two sessions in August 2024. The first session introduced students to heat transfer, while the second focused on energy transformations. Post-session evaluations showed that students successfully understood and applied these concepts, identifying energy sources, converters, and users, and explaining the process of energy transformations. The success of the program suggests the effectiveness of interactive technology like PhET in improving students' comprehension of complex scientific concepts, highlighting a valuable approach for future educational initiatives.

Abstract

Mental health is a state of mental well-being that allows people to cope with life's pressures, realize their abilities, learn well and work well. According to UNICEF Indonesia, there are several conditions that affect a person's mental health, including anxiety, depression, panic, and stress. In the context of higher education, students are one of the components that fall into the adolescent age range who are often faced with mental health problems. Therefore, it is important to discuss in more depth the impacts caused by students' mental health. This problem prompted this study to analyze the correlation of students' mental health with their academic results on campus. This study focuses on the analysis of the correlation between mental health and the Student Achievement Index (IPK) of Business Administration students from the Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ). The method used in this study is a combination of XGBoost (eXtreme Gradient Boostin g) and SHAP (Shapley Additive Explanations). The combination of XGBoost and SHAP will create a regression model with several predictor variables which then determine the correlation weight of the predictor variables with the response variable. The purpose of this study is to prove the correlation of these two things with several mental health disorder instruments, namely feelings of anxiety, depression, panic and stress. This study is expected to be a policy reference for PNJ leaders in determining the priorities and focus of policies related to the mental and academic health of their students. This study uses the Superior Basic Research scheme for Higher Education (PDUPT) and has outputs in the form of publication of articles in reputable international journals or articles in accredited sinta journals 1-2 or patents/simple patents or reference books with ISBNs, and reputable indexed international seminar articles.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis laju kinetika degradasi pengolahan air limbah biologi menggunakan model Michaelis-Menten dan regresi linier.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Sampel diambil dengan teknik grab sample dan diambil pada 4 titik dengan jumlah 70 liter yang dibagi sama rata pada tiap titik. Penentuan model dilakukan dengan menggunakan persamaan Michaelis-Menten dan regresi linier. Reaktor terbuat dari fiberglass, berukuran panjang 40 cm, lebar 40 cm, tinggi 50 cm, dan tebal 4 mm. Reaktor memiliki kapasitas 80 L. Inlet dan Outlet air limbah dirancang dengan menggunakan pipa PVC. Percobaan dijalankan selama 30 hari. Total luas permukaan semua media adalah 14.130 cm2. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear dan persamaan michaelis-menten.Hasil: Hasil pemodelan persamaan Michaelis-Menten menunjukkan nilai R2 mendekati sempurna, yang menunjukkan kedekatan dengan kondisi lapangan sebenarnya. Kondisi aerobik berlangsung lebih lama dan memungkinkan terjadinya degradasi BOD, COD, dan TSS. Konstanta Menten untuk menghilangkan BOD, COD, dan TSS masing-masing adalah 17,7, 80,5, dan 135. Nilai R2 yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan model regresi linier mendekati angka sempurna, yaitu untuk parameter BOD (0,995), COD (0, 9934), dan TSS (0,9665). dengan nilai y masing-masing -0,0613, -0,0467, -0,042. Persamaan yang diperoleh dari hasil pemodelan regresi adalah Y = 31,245-0,030X1 + 0,015X2 + 0,044X3 + e.Simpulan: Model yang digunakan mampu memprediksi secara akurat degradasi BOD, COD, dan TSS dalam kondisi aerobik. Studi ini menyarankan pengoptimalan kondisi aerobik dalam praktik pengolahan air limbah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penghilangan BOD, COD, dan TSS, menggunakan model Michaelis-Menten untuk pengurangan polutan yang efektif. Besarnya gelembung udara yang dihasilkan aerator tidak dikontrol sehingga tidak dapat dimaksimalkan laju aliran udara yang masuk pada reaktor yang mungkin akan berpengaruh pada hasil kerja reaktor. Penelitian ini meningkatkan pengetahuan pengolahan air limbah dengan menunjukkan efektivitas model Michaelis-Menten dalam menganalisis laju degradasi dan menekankan penggunaan media plastik, sehingga menawarkan wawasan berharga untuk penelitian masa depan. Title:  Wastewater Degradation Kinetics Using PET Plastic Bottle Capping Media with MBBR Aerobic ReactorBackground: The purpose of this study was to analyze the rate of degradation kinetics of biological wastewater treatment using the Michaelis-Menten model and linear regression.Method: This type of research is experimental. Samples were taken using the grab sample technique and taken at 4 points with a total of 70 liters divided equally at each point. Model determination was carried out using the Michaelis-Menten equation and linear regression. The reactor was made of fiberglass, measuring 40 cm long, 40 cm wide, 50 cm high, and 4 mm thick. The reactor has a capacity of 80 L. The wastewater inlet and outlet were designed using PVC pipes. The experiment was run for 30 days. The total surface area of all media was 14,130 cm2. Data analysis used linear regression tests and the Michaelis-Menten equation.Results: The results of the Michaelis-Menten equation modeling showed an R2 value close to perfect, which indicated closeness to actual field conditions. Aerobic conditions lasted longer and allowed for degradation of BOD, COD, and TSS. Menten's constants for removing BOD, COD, and TSS were 17.7, 80.5, and 135, respectively. The R2 value obtained using the linear regression model approached the perfect number, namely for the parameters BOD (0.995), COD (0.9934), and TSS (0.9665). with y values of -0.0613, -0.0467, -0.042, respectively. The equation obtained from the results of the regression modeling is Y = 31.245-0.030X1 + 0.015X2 + 0.044X3 + e. Conclusion: The model used is able to accurately predict the degradation of BOD, COD, and TSS under aerobic conditions. This study suggests optimizing aerobic conditions in wastewater treatment practices to improve the efficiency of BOD, COD, and TSS removal, using the Michaelis-Menten model for effective pollutant reduction. The size of the air bubbles produced by the aerator is not controlled so that the rate of air flow entering the reactor cannot be maximized, which may affect the results which could minimize the reactor's working time. This study enhances the knowledge of wastewater treatment by demonstrating the effectiveness of the Michaelis-Menten model in analyzing degradation rates and emphasizing the use of plastic media, thus offering valuable insights for future research.

Abstract

Spodoptera frugiperda is a new invasive insect in Indonesia that has become a main pest of corn plants. This pest attacks the whole living stages of corn plants from the vegetative to the generative phase and causes major damage in the vegetative phase. This research aims for the utilisation of a biological control agent, namely the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana, to control armyworm pests (S. frugiperda) on corn plants. Application of B. bassiana was carried out on S. frugiperda with concentrations of 106, 107, 108, 109 and 1010 conidia/ml with the amount of 10 ml/treatment. The results showed that the highest mortality rate for S. frugiperda in treatment 1010 reached approximately 33% and the LC50 probit analysis had a value of 1.17 X 108. Symptoms of death in S. frugiperda caused by B. bassiana can be seen from changes in the color and shape of the insect's body, which is a sign of infection by this fungus.

Abstract

Kemampuan mengakses internet perangkat internet of things (IoT) yang digunakan merupakan elemen penting, untuk beberapa aplikasi. Selain itu, kekuatan sinyal yang diterima (rssi) berdasarkan titik penempatan perangkat IoT yang terletak di dalam ruangan sangat lah menentukan keberhasilan dalam megendalikan dan mengontrolnya. Tingkat kesalahan diamati dengan penentuan posisi berdasarkan informasi rssi dari posisi perangkat saat ini apakah dapat mendeteksi, apakah perangkat yang mentransfer data dari letak atau lokasi yang ditentukan di dalam ruangan menggunakan rssi atau kekutan sinyal yang diterima oleh objek. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat hasi seperti berikut Dari fase on-line rata-rata kesalahan jarak estimasi dan standar deviasi mengunakan algoritma k-NN pada sebesar 8.24 m dengans tandar deviasi 10.07 m lebih besar dibandingan dengan algoritma Naïve bayes dari fase on-line rata-rata kesalahan jarak estimasi 6.10 m dan standar deviasi 8.83 m jarak lokasi target karenya prediksi dari hasil pengujian pada algoritma Naïve bayes lebih baik dibanding mengunakan algoritma k-NN.

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, terdapat berbagai macam e-walletnyangnpopuler di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap keputusan penggunaan GoPay dan persepsi kemudahan terhadap keputusan penggunaan GoPay pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif secara kuantitatif dan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket. Teknik pengambilan sampel memakai teknik purposive sampling, dengan sampel sebanyak 96 responden. Teknik uji validitas dan reliabilitas yang digunakan yaitu pearson product moment dan Alpha Cronbach.  Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Uji Prasyarat Analisis: Analisis Statistik Deskriptif, Uji Normalitas, Uji Linearitas, Uji Multikolinearitas, Uji Heterokedastisitas. Uji Hipotesis: Analisis Regresi Berganda, Uji t, Koefisien Determinasi. Semua data diolah menggunakan software SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara literasi keuangan terhadap keputusan penggunaan GoPay pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara persepsi kemudahan terhadap keputusan penggunaan GoPay pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran Library has various types of historical manuscripts, covering history from ancient to modern periods. The existence of these collections is certainly very useful for writing history, especially the history of Java. Unfortunately, there are still many historical researchers in Indonesia who use colonial archival sources such as Besluit, Algemeen Verslag, Memorie van Overgave and documents such as Staatsblad, Rijksblad and Regeering Almanac instead of using existing historical manuscripts. This is due to the difficulties experienced by historical researchers in reading manuscripts which in terms of material are written by hand and use Javanese language and letters. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to catalog the manuscripts. The catalog of historical manuscripts in addition to containing the manuscript code number also contains a synopsis of the contents of the manuscript. This, in addition to making it easier for researchers to find manuscripts, also helps in understanding the contents of historical manuscripts from the Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran collection. The purpose of this service is to catalog the historical manuscripts of the Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran collection. ABSTRAK: Perpustakaan Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran mempunyai berbagai jenis manuskrip sejarah, meliputi sejarah dari periode kuno hingga modern. Keberadaan koleksi-koleksi ini tentu sangat bermanfaat bagi penulisan sejarah terutama sejarah Jawa. Sayangnya, masih banyak peneliti sejarah di Indonesia yang lebih banyak menggunakan sumber arsip kolonial seperti Besluit, Algemeen Verslag, Memorie van Overgave maupun dokumen seperti Staatsblad, Rijksblad dan Regeering Almanak dibandingkan memanfaatkan manuskrip sejarah yang ada. Hal ini dikarenakan kesulitan yang dialami peneliti sejarah dalam membaca manuskrip yang dari segi material ditulis dengan tangan serta menggunakan bahasa dan huruf Jawa. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini diperlukan upaya katalogisasi manuskrip. Katalogisasi manuskrip sejarah selain berisi nomor kode manuskrip juga berisi sinopsis dari isi manuskrip. Hal ini selain mempermudah peneliti dalam menemukan manuskrip juga sekaligus membantu dalam memahami isi manuskrip sejarah koleksi Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran. Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian ini adalah untuk membuat katalog manuskrip sejarah koleksi Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegaran.

Abstract

Wastewater treatment using traditional systems is considered expensive because it requires considerable energy and installation. The current study assessed the existence of a combination process that can reduce costs and is easy to operate. This study evaluates the performance of an anaerobic-aerobic biofilter system to treat industrial wastewater from cracker production. The combination of anaerobic and aerobic biofilters can significantly reduce Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), which are important parameters for wastewater quality. Sampling was carried out on the influent channel of the fish cracker industry. Sampling uses the SNI 6989.59:2008 regulation in the form of a wastewater test sampling method. The results showed that the biofilter achieved BOD removal of up to 84.90% and COD reduction of more than 89.02% when operated with an extended Hydraulic Retention Time (HRT) of up to 24 h. The results also showed that in wastewater treatment, HRT optimization should be considered for maximum pollutant removal, as shorter retention times proved less effective in reducing COD and BOD organic loads. These findings suggest that anaerobic-aerobic biofilter systems are viable and scalable solutions for industries seeking efficient and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment options.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of (1) Taxation Understanding on the Compliance of Personal MSME Taxpayers, (2) Taxpayers Perception Regarding Application of Amendment to PP No.46 of 2013 become PP No.23 of 2018 on the Compliance of Personal MSME Taxpayers, (3) Taxation Understanding on Tax Sanctions, (4) Taxpayers Perception about the Implementation of Amendment to PP No.46 of 2013 become PP No.23 of 2018 on Tax Sanctions, and (5) Tax Sanctions on Compliance of Personal MSME Taxpayers in Pekanbaru. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of this study indicate taxation understanding and taxpayer perceptions about the application of the amendment to PP No. 46 of 2013 become PP No. 23 of 2018 does not significantly affect Personal MSME Taxpayers. Taxation understanding and taxpayer perceptions about the application of the amendment to PP No. 46 of 2013 become PP No. 23 of 2018 has a significant effect on tax sanctions. Taxation sanctions significantly influence individual Personal MSME Taxpayers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operating Expenses to Operating Income Ratio (BOPO), Loan to Deposits Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), and Non-Performing Loan Ratio (NPL) variables on ROA and Stock Return of Banks That Listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this research is all banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. At the same time, the samples are 30 companies. The sampling uses the purposive sampling method. Secondary data was obtained in the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Yahoo! Finance. The independent variables used are CAR, BOPO, LDR, NIM, and NPL. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis by SmartPLS software. This research indicates that the LDR, NIM, and NPL variables have a significant effect on ROA. The CAR, BOPO, and NPL variables have a significant effect on Stock Return. The predictive ability of the independent variables (CAR, BOPO, LDR, NIM, and NPL) on ROA is 59.5%, as indicated by the value of Adjusted R Square is 59.5%, while the remaining is 40.5% influenced by other variables not included in this research. The independent variables (CAR, BOPO, NIM, and NPL) on Stock Returns have 13.3% of Adjusted R Square while the remaining is 86.7% influenced by other variables.
