Abstract

Ulap Doyo dan Badong Tencep merupakan kerajinan yang dibuat dari tanaman doyo dan dituangkan dalam bentuk berbagai macam kerajinan khas kota tenggarong. Melalui kerajinan Ulap Doyo dan Badong Tencep, tenaga ajar lokal dapat menggunakan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk memfasilitasi tuntutan dimensi berkebhinekaan global pada kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan aspek budaya Ulap Doyo dan Badong Tencep dan dihubungkan dengan materi geometri transformasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif serta pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik milik miles and huberman seperti pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan melalui pembahasan yang dihubungkan dengan teori-teori pendukung sebagai cara keabsahan data, yaitu triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat konsep geometri transformasi yang dapat dilihat melalui kerajinan Ulap Doyo dan Badong Tencep, seperti konsep translasi yang ditemukan pada motif perahu, tumpar, dan jemak. Abstract

Ensuring reliable measurements is crucial for minimising errors in assessments. The assessmentcommunity commonly employs the evaluation of reliability coefficients to estimate the dependability oftest scores. Despite its significance, limited research has explored the relationship between the estimated reliability coefficient and the number of scale points utilised. This study aims to provide valuable insights to practitioners by investigating the optimal number of scale points required for the most accurate reliability coefficient estimation. Using simulated data, the research scrutinises scales with varying points, ranging from 2 to 11. The results reveal a substantial impact of the number of scale points on reliability estimation. The most accurate estimate of reliability is obtained for scales with 8 points. This study helps us understand the optimal number of scale points for reliable measurements and guides future assessment improvements.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of implementing Creative Problem Solving assisted by Google Classroom on students' mathematical literacy based on Self-efficacy. The research method employed is quasi-experimental. The study population consists of all seventh-grade students at MTsN 3 West Aceh. The research sample includes Class VII B as the experimental group and Class VII F as the control group. Quantitative data were analyzed using statistical tests processed with IBM SPSS Statistics 16. The research findings indicate (1) the average mathematical literacy of students in the experimental group, who received Creative Problem Solving assisted by Google Classroom, was higher than that of students in the control group who received Discovery Learning, with a calculated t-value of 5.75 > critical t-value of 1.99 using a one-tailed test for the difference in means; (2) the increase in mathematical literacy among students in the experimental group, who received Creative Problem Solving assisted by Google Classroom, was greater than that of students in the control group who received Discovery Learning, with a calculated t-value of 2.89 > critical t-value of 1.99 using an improvement test; and (3) Self-efficacy positively influenced the mathematical literacy of students in the experimental group who received Creative Problem Solving assisted by Google Classroom, accounting for 49.4% of the influence using an influence test. Based on the research, Creative Problem Solving assisted by Google Classroom proves effective in enhancing students' mathematical literacy in schools.

Abstract

Learning that involved the daily life accompanied by interesting learning media can be used as an option to help students in learning, particularly in improving students' concepts understanding. It is possible to do by utilization of familiar media that are generally liked by students. One of them is comic. Therefore a research about learning by comic based realistic mathematical approach was carried out in order to find out its effect on improving the skills of students concepts understanding on fraction material. This study is a quasi-experimental research. The population of study are 7th grade students of SMP RK Serdang Murni Lubuk Pakam on Academic Year 2019/2020. The first class that consist of 31 students are categorized as the control class and the second class consist of 32 students are experimental class. The pre-test and post-test questions were provided as an instrument of study. The data were analyzed using the Anova and Welch Brown-Forsythe tests to proof the hypotesis. Moreover, normality test with Liliefors test and the homogeneity test with the Levene’s test. The results of this study stated that learning with comics-based realistics mathematical approach has a significant effect on improving the skills of students concept understanding.

Abstract

Room cleanliness is very important for a hotel. A common issue in hotels is room cleanliness, leading hotels to compete for employees who can clean rooms according to the standards set by the hotel, including time and results. The purpose of this research is to observe and analyze the performance of room attendants in preparing rooms. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection methods in this study include observation and interviews with 6 room attendants, as well as literature review and documentation. This research uses comparative analysis to compare the standard room cleaning time with the time achieved by room attendants in cleaning rooms. The average time spent by a room attendant in cleaning a room is 33.5 or 33 minutes and 5 seconds, while the standard time set by the hotel is 30 minutes. The results of this study indicate that the time achieved by room attendants in cleaning rooms does not meet the time standards set by the hotel. Room attendants must be able to manage their time so that all work can be completed on time and cleanliness standards are maintained.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan diantaranya: (1) mendeskripsikan situasi didaktis materi aljabar pada buku teks matematika SMA kelas X Kurikulum Merdeka; (2) mendeskripsikan situasi didaktis materi aljabar pada buku teks matematika setingkat SMA Kurikulum Cambridge; dan (3) mendeskripsikan perbandingan situasi didaktis antara buku teks matematika SMA kelas X Kurikulum Merdeka dengan buku teks matematika Kurikulum Cambridge (setingkat SMA) pada materi aljabar. Analisis konten menjadi jenis penelitian kualitatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sumber data yang dianalisis yaitu buku teks matematika SMA kelas X Kurikulum Merdeka terbitan Kemdikbudristek dan buku teks matematika setingkat SMA Kurikulum Cambridge terbitan Cambridge University Press. Tidak semua bab yang tersaji pada kedua buku teks dianalisis, melainkan hanya pada bab-bab yang memuat materi aljabar sesuai Capaian Pembelajaran fase E Kurikulum Merdeka. Peneliti dan tiga coder melakukan pembacaan dan pengodean untuk mendapatkan data penelitian. Setelah itu, data penelitian dianalisis melalui enam teknik analisis data yakni unitizing, sampling, recording/coding, reducing, inferring, dan narrating. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa pada buku matematika Kurikulum Merdeka memperoleh persentase situasi didaktis senilai 65,72%, dengan ketersediaan situasi aksi senilai 82,86%, situasi formulasi senilai 70%, situasi validasi senilai 40%, dan situasi institusionalisasi senilai 70%. Buku matematika Kurikulum Cambridge memperoleh persentase situasi didaktis senilai 51,10%, dengan penyajian situasi aksi senilai 73,81%, situasi formulasi senilai 25%, situasi validasi senilai 38,89%, dan situasi institusionalisasi senilai 66,67%. Komparasi hasil analisis situasi didaktis menunjukan bahwa ketersediaan situasi didaktis pada proses pembelajaran materi aljabar yang tersaji di buku matematika Kurikulum Merdeka dan buku matematika Kurikulum Cambridge tergolong baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a scale to measure honesty characters of students on mathematics learning using sucject scaling model. This development research is carried out in several steps namely: preparing initial scales, trials, and interpretation of trials result. The research is conducted on students of SMP N 5 Yogyakarta, SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta, and SMPIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta. The first trial involves 688 students and the second trial involves 696 students. Content validity is obtained through expert judgment. The construct validity is determined by Lisrel's second order CFA. Reliability coefficients include Omega coefficients (ω) and Alpha coefficients from Cronbach. Based on the results of this research, the scale to measure of student's honesty characters consists of 15 items that theoretically and empirically proved to be of good quality. The scale has good content validity supported by V Aiken index of 0.88-0.92. The scale has good construct validity. Reliability of the scale is also good supported by both the Omega coefficient of 0.86.

Abstract

Nelayan Desa Kuranji setiap hari berkegiatan menangkap ikan di Selat Lombok. Sampan (perahu kecil) berbahan komposit sandwich yang telah dipakai selama 6 tahun telah rusak pada beberapa bagian dan mengalami penurunan fungsinya. Permasalahan yang dihadapi nelayan diselesaiakan dengan memberdayakan mereka. Perbaikan perahu dilatihkan untuk memecahkan masalah pada mitra agar mitra mempunyai ketrampilan dalam perbaikan perahu dengan lambung berbahan komposit sandwich, sehingga mereka tidak perlu mengeluarkan biaya perbaikan yang lebih. Persiapan yang dilakukan adalah menyiapkan materi kegiatan, menyiapkan alat dan bahan. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan merupakan tahap yang paling menentukan yang terdiri dari perbaikan perahu komposit sandwich oleh mitra. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan terhadap setiap kegiatan, keseriusan dan ketrampilan mitra dalam memperbaiki perahu diamati. Mitra mampu melakukan perbaikan kerusakan perahu berbahan komposit sandwich secara mandiri, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa mitra telah memiliki pengetahuan praktik yang baik setelah dilatih oleh tim pengabdian.

Abstract

Leadership is someone who has the ability to lead such as strong intelligence, creativity in giving direction to his subordinates. Professionalism comes from the word profession, which means a field of work or position requires certain skills. Job performance is a person's level of proficiency in the tasks that include his or her job. The aim of the research is as follows: To find out whether leadership and work professionalism together influence teacher work performance at SMK Negeri 20 Jakarta.The sampling technique used in this research, the author used the Total Sampling technique or by means of a total population of 72 employees and were sampled using the formula Suharsimi Arikunto, 2017 so there were 72 samples in this research. The positive influence of leadership on teacher work performance obtained a partial value of 0.943, meaning there is a very strong influence or influence with a coefficient of determination of 87.8%. This is proven by testing the hypothesis of the Leadership variable on Teacher Work Performance, with a value of to = 10.718 > t0.05 (70) = 1.661, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a very significant effect. Based on the calculation results, there is a positive influence of Work Professionalism on Teacher Work Performance, a partial value of 0.841, meaning there is a very strong influence or an influence with a coefficient of determination of 70.7%. This is proven by testing the hypothesis of the Work Professionalism variable on Teacher Work Performance, with a value of to = 3.857 > t0.05 (70) = 1.661, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning it has a significant effect. Simultaneously the positive influence of the Leadership and Work Professionalism variables on the Teacher Work Performance variable with a simultaneous correlation value or Summary Model produces an R value of 0.943 and while the R Square value is 0.890 or 89.0%, this can be stated that the results of the analysis together The Leadership and Work Professionalism variables on the Teacher Job Performance variable have a very strong influence. Proven through the results of the Ftest (ANOVA) or Fcount, a value of 279.535 was obtained, which is greater than Ftable (71) of 2.740 with a significance level of 0.000 because 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be said that the variables Leadership and Work Professionalism together or Simultaneously, there is a significant influence on teacher work performance.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the effectiveness of differentiated learning strategies through giving structured assignments on class VII students' algebraic operations material in terms of: (1) student learning achievement, (2) student learning motivation, and (3) student learning achievement and student learning motivation simultaneously. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest and posttest non-equivalent group design. This research is quantitative research with experimental methods, This type of research is a quasi-experiment, a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The subjects in this research were 66 students, divided into two classes, namely 33 experimental class students and 33 control class students. The data collection technique for student learning achievement uses a multiple choice test with 20 questions and an essay with 2 questions, while for data on student learning motivation uses a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire with 25 questions. Data analysis used two sample t-test analysis using statistical formulas and the SPSS 27 for Windows program. The results showed that the differentiated learning strategy through structured assignments on the material of the operation of algebraic forms of seventh grade students was 1) ineffective in terms of student learning achievement, 2) effective in terms of student learning motivation, and 3) effective in terms of student learning achievement and student learning motivation simultaneously.
