Abstract

This study investigates the influence of the five SERVQUAL dimensions—tangible,  empathy, reliability, responsiveness, and assurance—on customer satisfaction in  education and training institutions using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach.  The research aims to synthesize findings from empirical studies published between 2020  and 2024 to provide a comprehensive understanding of how these dimensions impact  customer satisfaction in this context. The review systematically collected and analyzed  relevant literature from reputable databases, including Dimention. A total of 9 studies  were selected based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, ensuring that only  research focusing on SERVQUAL dimensions in education and training institutions and  their impact on customer satisfaction was included.The results reveal that all five  dimensions significantly contribute to customer satisfaction, with reliability and  assurance having the strongest impact. Tangible aspects, such as facilities and  infrastructure, and empathy, which reflects personalized attention, also play crucial roles.  Responsiveness, related to the promptness and willingness of service delivery, was found  to enhance trust and loyalty among customers. This study highlights the critical importance of implementing and improving  SERVQUAL dimensions to enhance service quality and satisfaction in education and  training institutions. The findings provide valuable insights for educators, policymakers,  and administrators to refine service delivery models and meet the growing expectations  of their customers.

Abstract

This article examines students’ perception of using Zoom Meeting for online learning in teaching English speaking skill. Qualitative descriptive method was used to find out students’ perception related to the use of Zoom Meeting during learning speaking. The data collection used was collected by creating a questionnaire that consisted of 15 statements. The questionnaire was distributed via Google Form. The participants of this study were students of English Education Department from Singaperbangsa Karawang University which is selected randomly about 9 students from second semester students. The result showed that the use of Zoom Meeting for online learning in teaching English speaking skills give positive and negative impacts. Zoom Meeting applications make them understand some speaking class learning materials easily. However, in the other case, most of the students were bored with the implementation of online classes and lost of motivation to study during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Digitalisasi pendidikan menjadi langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan administrasi di sekolah. Sebagai bagian dari program pengabdian masyarakat oleh mahasiswa Program Magister Administrasi Pendidikan Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (Unsika), kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan aplikasi berbasis Microsoft Access dalam pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana di MI Al Mujahidin Pasirkamuning. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 16 November dan melibatkan guru serta staf administrasi. Kegiatan diawali dengan penyusunan materi pelatihan, persiapan aplikasi, dan demonstrasi fitur Microsoft Access, seperti pembuatan tabel, form input data, serta query untuk menghasilkan laporan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini mampu menggantikan metode pencatatan manual, meningkatkan efisiensi pencatatan, serta memudahkan akses dan pelaporan data. Dengan sistem digital, guru dapat lebih fokus pada tugas utama mereka tanpa terbebani oleh masalah administratif. Kepala Madrasah dan peserta pelatihan memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap manfaat aplikasi ini dalam mendukung pengelolaan sarana prasarana yang lebih terstruktur. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model digitalisasi bagi institusi pendidikan lainnya, mendorong transformasi yang lebih luas untuk mendukung mutu layanan pendidikan di Indonesia. Implementasi aplikasi Microsoft Access memberikan solusi praktis, efisien, dan dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan untuk mendukung sistem administrasi sekolah.

Abstract

The study aims to explore student involvement in vocabulary learning through the Total Physical Response (TPR) method. The TPR method combines physical movement with language learning processes, which are believed to improve student memory and understanding. This research uses a qualitative approach to the design of case studies. The study collected data through observations, interviews, and pre- and post-test vocabulary tests. The results showed that students showed positive engagement, both behavioral, emotional, and cognitive. Significant improvements in vocabulary skills also increased, as seen from the average student vocabulary test score after the application of the TPR method, from 38.55 on the pretest to 81.11 on the posttest. Observations and interviews revealed that students were more active and involved in the learning process, showing a higher interest and positive response to TPR methods. In addition, physical movements associated with vocabulary learning help students memorize and understand vocabulary better.

Abstract

In the factuality, there are many fictional works that raise myth elements and use as reference in writing. Literary works inevitably exist in communities that have cultures and this is well acknowledged by writers who eventually receive them actively-productively. The present study is aimed at identifying these matters in modern Indonesian literature including myth sources, author’s attitudes that are hypogrammed, and myth functions. The study is conducted on five novels produced in the 2000s. Various myth stories contain life values that can be used as inspirations and culturel references in the writing of modern Indonesian novels and, simultaneously, as allegories and metaphors of life in the present time. The novels are partly set as they are in the myth stories, while partly are transformed into the life background of the present time. Even though the novels are set in the time background of the myth stories, the personalities and life philosophy of the characters reflect the life situations of the present time. The writers’ attitudes towards myths are partly continuing and augmenting the myth conventions although through the transformations of plots and characters (myth of concern), and, on the contrary, partly freeing, deviating, and rebelling (myth of freedom). In the case of rebellion to the myth conventions (Roro Jonggrang), it seems that it is due to the influences of the feminist ideas that emphasize the importance of life equalities between men and women. Women need not be always defeated or dominated by men.

Abstract

Urgensi dari penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah keragaman kelas dan keharusan guru untuk menyajikan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru dan siswa se-Kabupaten Belitung Timur terhadap pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Data diperoleh melalui angket yang disebar kepada guru dan siswa. Melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif, olah data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dan siswa se-Kabupaten Belitung Timur memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Namun, masih perlu optimalisasi guna memastikan peserta didik memperoleh pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhannya, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to identify and analyze the planning, implementation, obstacles, and strategies in budget management at primary schools to support quality education improvement. Methodology: Descriptive qualitative method; research subjects: principals, teachers, treasurers, and committee members; data collected via digital five-point Likert scale questionnaire; data analyzed through descriptive narrative based on respondent feedback. Main Findings: Budget planning is participatory and aligned with school vision. Key challenges during implementation include transparency and regulation compliance. Main obstacles: limited budget, low HR capacity, lack of infrastructure. Schools respond with training, IT use, monitoring, and stakeholder involvement to improve accountability and effectiveness. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study highlights integrated strategies combining technology, stakeholder synergy, and capacity development to overcome budget management issues, offering a holistic framework for sustainable education budgeting in primary schools.

Abstract

Transformasi era Society 5.0 menuntut sistem pendidikan yang adaptif, terbuka, dan berkelanjutan dalam menghadapi kompleksitas kebutuhan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model konseptual perencanaan dan pembiayaan pendidikan berkelanjutan yang relevan dengan tantangan era Society 5.0. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka kualitatif dengan pendekatan sintesis teori dan analisis kontekstual kebijakan pendidikan di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi tiga pendekatan teoritik—Open System Theory, Education Economics Theory, dan Sustainability Theory—dapat menghasilkan model perencanaan yang responsif, efisien, dan berorientasi jangka panjang. Model ini berfokus pada empat pilar utama: kebijakan berbasis data dan AI, pembiayaan berbasis human capital, penganggaran berkelanjutan, dan tata kelola adaptif. Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa sistem pendidikan Indonesia masih bergantung pada pendanaan pusat, belum optimal dalam penggunaan teknologi, dan kurang partisipatif dalam perencanaan lokal. Model yang dikembangkan diharapkan menjadi rujukan bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam merancang sistem pendidikan yang tanggap terhadap tantangan digital, sosial, dan keberlanjutan lintas generasi

Abstract

The quality of education is closely linked to the effectiveness of financial planning and management. In this regard, the involvement of various stakeholders plays a critical role in ensuring that educational budgets are allocated and utilized transparently, accountably, and in alignment with actual needs. School committees, parents, and local communities serve as key actors whose participation can enhance the relevance and quality of education. However, in practice, stakeholder engagement often remains superficial or merely administrative, lacking meaningful involvement in planning processes. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review to explore the extent to which stakeholder involvement in education financing planning contributes to improving education quality. Findings reveal a gap between the potential and actual roles of stakeholders, largely due to limited capacity, the absence of standard operating procedures, and the lack of open communication forums. Meaningful participation is essential to strengthen social control, increase program effectiveness, and align education with local contexts and needs. Therefore, a collaborative approach is needed—one that includes stakeholders from the initial stages of budgeting to the final evaluation. This paper recommends strengthening stakeholder capacity and developing participatory models to ensure effective and sustainable governance in educational financing. Such efforts are crucial for building an inclusive and accountable education system that truly supports quality improvement in the long term.
