Abstract

This article examines posts on the Instagram story status of artist NM whose sentences allegedly contain elements of defamation. The method used in this research is qualitative, namely describing data to determine elements that could tarnish someone's good name. Determining these elements requires forensic linguistic analysis, namely using linguistic evidence in law enforcement efforts. This evidence can be analyzed using lexical semantic analysis, grammatical semantics, pragmatic and sociopragmatic analysis, language style, as well as critical discourse analysis using Theo van Leeuween's theory which is part of forensic linguistic studies. Based on the analysis carried out, it was concluded that from a lexical semantics point of view, the words used in the uploaded sentences have a negative denotational meaning. Based on grammatical semantic analysis, this sentence means demeaning someone. Pramatically and sociopragmatically, the NM sentence contains 4 types of speech, namely representative, directive, expressive, and declaration based on the crime committed by DM. The language style used by NM uses sarcasm. Based on critical discourse analysis with Theo van Leeuween's theory, it uses inclusion with the discourse strategies of differentiation-indifferentiation, objectivation-abstraction, nomination-identification, and determination-indetermination.

Abstract

Students are very vulnerable to emotional changes especially during this online learning method that caused by pandemic Covid-19. This change of learning method has resulted to students that students have to adapt to a new learning method that had several challanges in its implementation that caused some emotional unstable condition such as anxiety, stress, and depression. This issue becomes contemporary research in this area. Therefore this research paper is conducted to analyse the college students’ emotion on online learning during pandemic Covid-19. This research is a qualitative research with analytical descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of 6 students, the research was conducted in June 2021 on a sampling of 6 students from various state universities in Indonesia. The research instrument used a questionnaire from the google form website. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the majority of emotional problems experienced by students in the online learning process were anxiety. A total of 5 students experienced anxiety and stress, 3 students experienced depression. As a suggestion, several efforts can be made by students, families, and the government in reducing students’ unstable emotional conditions.

Abstract

Dalam konteks praktik pedagogis, keterampilan menulis memegang peranan penting untuk mendukung prestasi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana siswa terlibat dalam menulis teks deskriptif berbantuan Padlet dan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa tentang penggunaan Padlet sebagai media pembelajaran dalam teks deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan studi kasus sebagai desain penelitian. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah tiga siswa kelas XI salah satu SMA di Karawang, Indonesia. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara semi terstruktur. Peneliti menggunakan reduksi, display data, dan verifikasi untuk menganalisis data. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan Padlet dalam pembelajaran dapat digunakan untuk menulis teks deskriptif secara kolaboratif sehingga dapat meningkatkan siswa dapat menghasilkan hasil menulis kolaborasi dan dapat mengembangkan siswa lebih bebas menulis teks deskriptif menulis lebih bebas dalam mengekspresikan ide-ide mereka, serta menggali pengetahuan dan pengalaman siswa dalam menulis teks deskriptif. Namun aspek yang perlu diperhatikan saat menggunakan Padlet adalah koneksi internet yang tidak stabil. Selain itu, Peneliti menemukan bahwa siswa memiliki tanggapan positif tentang penggunaan Padlet dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskriptif. Secara keseluruhan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Padlet dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskriptif berpengaruh positif dalam membuat siswa lebih mudah mengungkapkan pikiran dan membantu selama proses pembelajaran menulis teks deskriptif. Untuk penelitian lain, peneliti menyarankan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi dan persepsi guru dalam menggunakan Padlet sebagai media pembelajaran dalam menulis teks deskriptif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.

Abstract

The current of significant changes in lifestyle has developed through the development of technological flows in social media. Social media has a strong influence in shaping knowledge and character, both from the upper-, middle-, and lower-class groups. Content packaging is represented as natural as possible in instilling its influence so that hegemony practices occur. Contents that emphasize and highlight consumptive culture are used as a mainstay to attract the attention of viewers through the Youtube channel to increase the number of viewers and earn profits. This practice is what makes consumptive hegemony approval. This study describes how the process of hegemony in forming a consumptive ideology uses a qualitative study with a literature approach to strengthen the explanation of Gramsci's hegemony. The object of the analysis of the Youtube Rans Entertainment channel that was taken was the content entitled “Wow!!! Raffi Nagita opens a nightly hangout in front of the house…” and “Nagita Try Online Items for Under 100K!!! The result makes you laugh!!!". Both contents are packaged in a relaxed atmosphere full of joy by fostering a fun effect in emphasizing consumptive ideology. Social media provides closeness between the audience and content owners so that the practice of hegemony is easily approved. In defending the consumptive ideology, the dominant group makes representations that allow for a good response. This hegemony makes the consumptive ideology develop into a lifestyle.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mendiskusikan makna di balik tanda yang ada dalam karya sastra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Objek material berupa cerpen “Malam Masih Panjang, dan Kalian akan Merasa Lapar” karya Masdhar Zainal, sedangkan objek formal berupa teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce, khususnya tentang ikon, indeks, dan simbol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya ikon malam, makanan, dan induk burung, indeks berupa potongan kisah yang dialami tokoh cerita (ayah, ibu, dan empat orang anak), dan simbol warung serta simbol peternak bebek. Rangkaian tanda-tanda berupa ikon, indeks, dan simbol tersebut dapat ditafsirkan sebagai ungkapan keprihatinan pengarang terhadap fenomena kemiskinan dalam masyarakat. Keutuhan cerita berdasarkan tanda semiotis berupa teks dan konteks, dapat dimaknai sebagai pesan yang ingin disampaikan oleh pengarang, yakni masih adanya kemiskinan yang perlu diatasi oleh berbagai pihak terkait, terutama oleh negara.

Abstract

Sastra adalah penggamabaran serangkaian peristiwa yang terinspirasi dari peristiwa alamiah. Seiring dengan transformasi karya sastra, penulis sastra banyak memasukan unsur kebudayaan tradisional ke dalam karya sastra yang ditulisnya. Salah satu kebudayaan tradisional yang dimasukkan ke dalam karya sastra adalah wayang. Cerita wayang adalah cerita yang menggambarkan budaya manusia. Banyak keadaan dan peristiwa di dunia wayang sering dipandang sebagai representasi keadaan di dunia nyata. Oleh karena itu, representamen dalam sebuah sastra wayang menarik untuk dikaji. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data teknik simak. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data. Sementara itu, yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah representamen yang terdapat dalam cerpen “Gatotkaca” karya Bakdi Soemanto. Analisis ini akan menggunakan teori unsur semiotika representamen Peirce untuk membahasa tanda dalam cerpen “Gatotkaca”. Teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce mengemukakan tiga hal, yaitu representamen, interpretan, dan objek. Representamen dalam sebuah wacana memiliki fungsi yang berbeda beda dipengaruhi oleh konteks wacana tersebut. Penggunaan tanda pada cerita pendek sastra wayang ini adalah untuk membangun alur dan latar cerita. Latar cerita dalam cepen ini banyak yang ditunjukkan dengan cara implisit.

Abstract

Zakat, infaq and alms are a form of worship that is not only vertical or a form of obedience to Allah SWT, but also a form of worship that is horizontal or social humanitarian relations. The realization of the collection of zakat, infaq and sadaqah funds is still far away when compared to the potential of zakat, infaq and sadaqah funds in West Java. This study aims to determine the influence between public interest, transparency and digital platforms on the obligation of zakat, infaq and sadaqah in West Java Province. This study uses a verification descriptive method using public interest, transparency and digital platforms as research variables. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach with 125 respondents obtained by non-probability sampling technique in the form of accidental sampling. Data analysis was carried out by multiple linear regression analysis using supporting applications, namely SPSS for Windows version 26.0. The results of the study obtained the conclusion that partially there is a positive and significant influence between Public Interest on the Obligation of Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah with the value of t count> t table (9.404> 1.979) with a significance value of 0.000 smaller than 0.05. Transparency of Management of Amil Zakat Institutions on the Obligation of Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah with the value of tcount> t table (9,253> 1,979) with a significance value of 0.000 smaller than 0.05. Digital Platform on the Obligation of Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah with a tcount> ttable value (11.312> 1.979) with a significance value of 0.000 smaller than 0.05. While simultaneously public interest, transparency and digital platforms have a significant influence on the obligation to pay Zakat, Infaq and alms. This is evidenced by Fcount> Ftabel, namely 70.071> 2.68, meaning that there is a significant influence between Public Interest, Transparency of Management of Amil Zakat Institutions and Digital Platforms on the Obligation to Pay Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah. Furthermore, the R square value or the Coefficient of Determination has a value of 0.626, which means that there is a relationship between the relationship between Public Interest, Transparency and the Use of Digital Platforms on the Obligation to Pay Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah as the dependent variable of 62.6% while 37.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The interplay of gender, ethnicity, and religious identifications plays an important role in the daily lives of Indonesians (Bertrand, 2004; Hoon, 2013; Ikasari, 2009; 2020; Suryadinata, et al., 2003).This study looks at Indonesian young girls' ways of being ethnic and religious, in relation to their schooling experiences to determine the manner in which these schoolgirls construct their ethnic and religious identities in the school environment. It is expected to add on to previous and current studies of women/girls in the Indonesian context. Located in a public secondary co-educational school in Yogyakarta, the study involved three schoolgirls from the Chinese ethnicity and Christian religion. Drawing on cultural studies and feminism of identity and difference as the theoretical and methodological framework, the study attempted to explore Indonesian schoolgirls' experiences and constructions of ethnicity and religion. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using case study as its method. The research data were collected from free-format, short autobiography essays written by the participants, individual and group interviews, and observation as well as online communications. Data analyses were initially carried out through data coding as determined by the research questions. The findings show that, first, the three ethnic-religious groups in this study namely the Chinese-Kristiani girls set up binaries of their essentialised understandings of being ethnic and religious members. Second, there are different ways of learning shaped by their ethnicity and religion. These two identities, in turn, shape their learning outcomes within and beyond their schooling site.

Abstract

In the digital era, the utilization of today’s rapidly developing technology is certainly very important for the field of education in improving student learning collaboration. One example is the use of the Padlet application. As a digital platform, Padlet provides various interactive features that facilitate students to exchange ideas, interact, and opinions simultaneously in the form of text, images, videos, and links. Padlet is also used as a student collaboration tool in education. This study aims to describe how to media supports student learning collaboration through Padlet. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes how Padlet can be used as a tool so support student learning collaboration. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more innovative and effective learning models Pada era digital, pemanfaatan teknologi yang berkembang pesat saat ini tentunya sangat penting untuk bidang Pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kolaborasi belajar siswa. Salah satu contohnya adalah pemanfaatan aplikasi Padlet. Sebagai sebuah platform digital, Padlet menyediakan berbagai fitur interaktif yang memfasilitasi siswa untuk bertukar ide, berinteraksi, dan pendapat secara bersamaan dalam bentuk teks, gambar, video, maupun tautan. Padlet juga digunakan sebagai alat kolaborasi siswa dalam Pendidikan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan cara media pendukung kolaborasi belajar siswa melalui Padlet. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, studi ini menganalisis bagaimana Padlet dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk mendukung kolaborasi belajar siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji optimalisasi potensi game edukasi dalam revolusi pembelajaran digital. Berdasarkan teori konstruktivisme sosial, pembelajaran experiential, dan teori flow, studi ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed-method dengan desain sequential explanatory. Melibatkan 500 siswa dan 50 guru dari 10 sekolah menengah selama satu tahun akademik, penelitian ini menggabungkan survei, observasi, wawancara, dan analisis log aktivitas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa integrasi game edukasi melalui pendekatan blended learning meningkatkan hasil belajar sebesar 32%. Personalisasi pembelajaran melalui jalur adaptif meningkatkan efisiensi belajar sebesar 43%. Pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 juga meningkat, dengan pemikiran kritis naik 27% dan kreativitas 24%. Kesimpulannya, game edukasi memiliki potensi transformatif dalam pendidikan modern, namun efektivitasnya bergantung pada integrasi yang cermat dan personalisasi pengalaman belajar.
