Abstract

The decline in red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.) production in Indonesia has prompted the need to explore effective and environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional fertilizers. This study examines the potential of cow biourine as a liquid organic fertilizer to increase the yield and nutritional quality of red spinach. The field experiment used a Randomized Block Design with five levels of biourine concentration (0, 200, 400, 600, 800 ml). The variables measured included growth components (fresh weight and productivity) and quality (protein and calcium content). The analysis results showed that the application of cow biourine significantly increased fresh weight, productivity, and calcium content. A dose of 400 ml proved to be the optimal treatment with a wet weight of 120.16 g, a productivity of 4.71 tons/ha, and a calcium content of 469.83 ppm.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, work enthusiasm, and motivation on employee performance at PT. Sumber Djaja Perkasa. The research subjects included all 56 company employees, who were also used as research samples using a non-probability sampling technique. Data processing and analysis were performed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics software version 25. Based on the analysis, it was found that individually (partially), the variables of work discipline, work enthusiasm, and motivation significantly influence employee performance. Simultaneously, these three variables also showed a significant influence on employee performance at PT. Sumber Djaja Perkasa.

Abstract

Flood was a problem that often occurs in the big cities of Indonesia. High rainfall, increasing population and unappropriate urban drainage system were the factors that cause the flood problems. The purpose of the research were to identify the condition of the existing drainage channels and to analyze the amount of runoff and comparing the run off to drainage channels in Pemuda Street. The analysis was carried out with simulations using EPA SWMM 5.1. Based on field observations, the drainage system in Pemuda Street was quite good with a rectangular cross section and were constructed using concrete. Based on the simulation results, the peak discharge runoff were around 0.017 - 2.119 m3/s, and water flow in channels C5, C40, and C49 almost meet the channel capacity with a discharge of 1.49 m3/s, 0.46 m3/s, and 0.23 m3/s respectively and would be potential to become flood. To reduce the flooding potential at Pemuda Street, dimension changes were needed on C5 and C49 channels with the final dimensions of 1.02 m x 0.77 m and 0.5 m x 0.59 m. But, because of the C5 dimension was changed, so waterflow in C40 were appropriate with channel capacity and would not need dimension change.Key words: drainage, EPA SWMM 5.1, rainfall, runoff

Abstract

Signaled intersection of Pahlawan steet and Raden Saleh Sarif Bustaman street is one of the main streets in Bogor. This intersection has 3-arm approaches namely Pahlawan Street at East, Raden Saleh Sarif Bustaman Street at North, and Empang Street at West. Highest traffic on weekend is 11653 units/hour or 5087 SMP/hour which occur between 5.20-7.20 pm. Pahlawan - Raden Saleh Sarif Bustaman street obtained inconsistent time cycle of APILL and size of approach dimension which resulted in intersection with high saturated degree. The saturation degree of the intersection of the eastern approaches was 0.75 which meant that this value was same with the standard value in MKJI 1997 which is 0.75. This meant that the performance of intersection capacity was already saturated. The high saturation degree of the intersection resulted in a low level of service level and was classified as, service level E with the intersection delay 45 seconds/SMP. Scenario II is the best alternative scenario for intersections, with the addition of road or lane widening, so the intersection capacity of the eastern, northern and western approaches were 3931, 5066 and 4562 SMP/hour respectively. The average intersection delay became to 9 seconds / SMP, and classified as service level B.Key words: capacity, intersection, intersection delay, service level

Abstract

Bogor is a city with a high rainfall. Bogor has the average monthly rainfall of 267.3 mm with an average of 16 days of rain per month. This research purpose are to identify the condition of the existing drainage channels and to analyze the magnitude of runoff discharge compliance with existing drainage channels capacity. This research was conducted from May to August 2017 in Dramaga Cantik 2, Bogor, West Java, were analyzed using EPA SWMM 5.1. Based on the rainfall data processing of Dramaga area, Bogor, this research used distribution method of Log Pearson III. The result showed that maximum rainfall was 129.722 mm. The result of EPA SWMM 5.1. simulation showed that drainage channel capacity could accommodate the runoff, but channel C24 was overflow. It was suggested to improved channel width to 0.42 m with cost of Rp 2,368,393.00.Keyword: drainage channel capacity, EPA SWMM 5.1, rainfall, runoff

Abstract

There are various road construction projects in Indonesia, but most of these projects still use conventional methods in evaluating road geometry. This study aims to evaluate the geometry of the road using UAV and analyze the accuracy and accuracy of photogrammetry in the evaluation of road geometry. This research took place at Dramaga's IPB Campus on Meranti street and was conducted from April to July 2019. From a series of processes that have been carried out it can produce accuracy of measuring 97,243% and 98,296% across the road for orthophoto results without and with coordinate correction and using GCP. For accuracy in this study obtained a value of 0.858 m so that it can be concluded that the data processing map is included in the class 3 horizontal accuracy. The horizontal alignment parameters analyzed in this study are bend angles, turn radius, and turn length, there are two curves analyzed. For the value of each parameter each turn successively for data without coordinate correction and elevation is 149 °; 90 °; 40.61 m; 53.75 m; 23.39 m; 90.71 m. The results of horizontal alignment analysis for data with coordinate correction are 150 °; 88 °; 30.81 m; 49.34 m; 21.39 m; 89.3 m. The vertical alignment analyzed in this study has two parameters, namely vertical curvature and slope. The value of the analysis results for the two parameters of the two points for results with correction and without correction of coordinates are 16.08%, 17.22%, 53 m, 51 m and 6.88%, 3.77%, 53 m, and 51 m .

Abstract

Sungai Cisadane berpotensi menimbulkan banjir di Tangerang, khususnya Bendungan Pasar Baru hingga Jembatan Kedaung. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penyempitan aliran dan pendangkalan sungai di hilir, serta perubahan penggunaan lahan di sepanjang bantaran Sungai Cisadane. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi lokasi, kedalaman, dan sebaran genangan air menggunakan model aliran permanen keluaran HEC-RAS (1D) pada tanggal 26 Februari 2020 dan untuk debit dengan periode ulang 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, dan 100 tahun. Pemodelan terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu pre-processing, running model HEC-RAS, dan post-processing. Hasilnya menunjukkan banjir pada 26 Februari 2020 melanda hingga 11 kelurahan. Kedalaman dan luasan wilayah terdampak terbesar terjadi di Desa Kedaung Barat dengan luas genangan 3,41 ha (0,01% dari luas desa). Kedalaman dan luas banjir masing-masing meningkat 0,1-0,2 m dan 20-50 ha seiring dengan bertambahnya periode ulang debit. Keakuratan keluaran model hanya 32%. Ketidakakuratan hasil model disebabkan penggunaan data DEM resolusi rendah sebagai input model.

Abstract

Kota Depok telah menjadi kota metropolitan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat modern sehingga perkembangan permukiman terus meningkat. Oleh karena itu diperlukan perencanaan tata guna lahan yang baik dari pemerintah sendiri. Industrialisasi dan urbanisasi menyebabkan kota berkembang dan membuat permintaan akan lahan semakin besar. Tanah datar menjadi banyak peminatnya yang membuat harganya menjadi sangat mahal. Hal ini menyebabkan masyarakat kurang mampu hanya mampu membeli tanah miring karena harganya yang murah. Pembangunan pemukiman di tanah miring atau landai tentunya sangat berbahaya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukannya SIG dalam menganalisis kemiringan suatu daerah dalam klasifikasinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama bulan Februari-Juni 2021. Lokasi objek penelitian berada di Kota Depok. Penelitian diawali dengan studi literatur. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menentukan lokasi penelitian. Setelah lokasi penelitian ditentukan, dilanjutkan dengan pengumpulan data sekunder. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan berupa analisis penggunaan lahan, uji ketelitian, analisis sebaran permukiman, analisis kelerengan, dan evaluasi sebaran permukiman pada lereng lereng. Luas sebaran permukiman pada kelas kemiringan 25%-45% dan diatas 45% masing-masing adalah 37,81 hektar dan 4,68 hektar. Lerengnya tidak bagus untuk pembangunan rumah. Upaya mitigasi yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengembalikan fungsi hutan di lereng bukit. Pengendalian pembangunan berupa harta benda juga harus dikendalikan sesuai dengan daya dukung lingkungan.

Abstract

Di Indonesia umumnya evaluasi geometri jalan dilakukan dengan cara konvensional seperti menggunakan theodolite atau total station. Kegiatan evaluasi merupakan bagian dari monitoring untuk memantau setiap perubahan kondisi jalan baik profil, kepadatan kendaraan dan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi kondisi eksisting geometri jalan menggunakan UAV serta menganalisis ketelitian fotogrametri. Lokasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini bertempat di Jalan Lingkar Dramaga. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan pengambilan foto udara menggunakan UAV bereferensi Titik Kontrol Bantu BIG pada beberapa Ground Control Point (GCP). Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap alinyemen horizontal dan alinyemen vertikal jalan. Evaluasi ini dilakukan setelah dilakukan proses orthophoto terhadap hasil foto udara. Alinyemen horizontal yang dievaluasi berupa sudut belokan, radius belokan, panjang belokan, dan sisipan antar dua tikungan. Evaluasi alinyemen vertikal berupa panjang lengkung dan kelandaian jalan. Hasil uji akurasi berdasarkan kondisi eksisting jalan sebesar 99.2% untuk orthophoto tanpa koreksi dan 99.6% untuk orthophoto terkoreksi ground control point. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi terhadap kondisi eksisting jalan, alinyemen horizontal jalan telah memenuhi SNI T-14-2004 sedangkan pada alinyemen vertikal terdapat nilai kelandaian yang melebihi pada segmen A1-A2 sehingga dilakukan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa penambahan elevasi sebesar 0.50 m pada STA 0+390 berupa penambahan lapisan perkerasan.

Abstract

This study presents the application of fiber bragg grating (FBG) sensors coated with polyimide for detecting carbon dioxide (CO₂) gas, employing both theoretical and experimental approaches. The basic FBG components were coated with polyimide layers of varying thicknesses. Subsequently, the fabricated FBG sensors were characterized using an optical interrogator system with four channels. Furthermore, the sensor was tested for CO₂ detection at a working temperature of 47 °C. Experimental data showed that the FBG sensor coated with polyimide layers of 10 nm, 15 nm, and 20 nm demonstrated sensitivities of 1.9 ppm, 1.84 ppm, and 1.8 ppm, respectively. In contrast, the uncoated FBG sensor exhibited a higher sensitivity of 3 ppm. Increasing the coating thickness beyond 20 nm leads to a decrease in sensor sensitivity. The findings suggest that an optimal polyimide coating thickness for CO₂ detection using FBG sensors is around 20 nm. Achieving high sensitivity in CO₂ gas sensors is crucial for their effective use across a broad range of applications.
