Abstract

Di Indonesia umumnya evaluasi geometri jalan dilakukan dengan cara konvensional seperti menggunakan theodolite atau total station. Kegiatan evaluasi merupakan bagian dari monitoring untuk memantau setiap perubahan kondisi jalan baik profil, kepadatan kendaraan dan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi kondisi eksisting geometri jalan menggunakan UAV serta menganalisis ketelitian fotogrametri. Lokasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini bertempat di Jalan Lingkar Dramaga. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan pengambilan foto udara menggunakan UAV bereferensi Titik Kontrol Bantu BIG pada beberapa Ground Control Point (GCP). Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap alinyemen horizontal dan alinyemen vertikal jalan. Evaluasi ini dilakukan setelah dilakukan proses orthophoto terhadap hasil foto udara. Alinyemen horizontal yang dievaluasi berupa sudut belokan, radius belokan, panjang belokan, dan sisipan antar dua tikungan. Evaluasi alinyemen vertikal berupa panjang lengkung dan kelandaian jalan. Hasil uji akurasi berdasarkan kondisi eksisting jalan sebesar 99.2% untuk orthophoto tanpa koreksi dan 99.6% untuk orthophoto terkoreksi ground control point. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi terhadap kondisi eksisting jalan, alinyemen horizontal jalan telah memenuhi SNI T-14-2004 sedangkan pada alinyemen vertikal terdapat nilai kelandaian yang melebihi pada segmen A1-A2 sehingga dilakukan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa penambahan elevasi sebesar 0.50 m pada STA 0+390 berupa penambahan lapisan perkerasan.

Abstract

This study presents the application of fiber bragg grating (FBG) sensors coated with polyimide for detecting carbon dioxide (CO₂) gas, employing both theoretical and experimental approaches. The basic FBG components were coated with polyimide layers of varying thicknesses. Subsequently, the fabricated FBG sensors were characterized using an optical interrogator system with four channels. Furthermore, the sensor was tested for CO₂ detection at a working temperature of 47 °C. Experimental data showed that the FBG sensor coated with polyimide layers of 10 nm, 15 nm, and 20 nm demonstrated sensitivities of 1.9 ppm, 1.84 ppm, and 1.8 ppm, respectively. In contrast, the uncoated FBG sensor exhibited a higher sensitivity of 3 ppm. Increasing the coating thickness beyond 20 nm leads to a decrease in sensor sensitivity. The findings suggest that an optimal polyimide coating thickness for CO₂ detection using FBG sensors is around 20 nm. Achieving high sensitivity in CO₂ gas sensors is crucial for their effective use across a broad range of applications.

Abstract

Indonesia’s location at the convergence of three active tectonic plates makes it highly susceptible to various natural disasters, with landslides being among the most frequent and destructive, particularly in mountainous and densely populated urban areas. Central Bogor District in West Java represents a vulnerable area where steep topography, high rainfall intensity, and dense population heighten landslide risk. Despite recurrent landslide events, comprehensive vulnerability assessments integrating both physical and socio-environmental factors remain limited. This study aims to produce a spatially explicit landslide vulnerability map for Central Bogor District by utilizing open geospatial data and applying a GIS-based multi-criteria decision-making approach. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was employed to assign weights to four primary physical parameters—rainfall, slope, lithology, and land cover—based on their relative contribution to landslide susceptibility. Supporting data were derived from Sentinel-1A imagery (InSAR), Landsat-8 classification, CHIRPS precipitation records, and official geological maps. These physical layers were then integrated with exposure indicators, including population density, infrastructure distribution, and accessibility data from OpenStreetMap. The results delineated three landslide vulnerability zones: high (49.87 ha), moderate (481.82 ha), and low (236.45 ha). High-risk zones, such as Gudang and Paledang Sub-districts, feature steep slopes, weak geological formations, and dense settlements. Overlay analysis also revealed a significant concentration of critical infrastructure within moderate-to-high vulnerability zones, highlighting exposure and potential service disruption during hazard events. The study underscores the critical value of combining open geospatial data with AHP-based weighting to inform targeted disaster mitigation, infrastructure planning, and resilient urban development. The resulting maps can guide policy and preparedness strategies to reduce landslide impacts in high-risk urban areas.

Abstract

The availability of fossil-based fuels will gradually decrease while the amount required increases. This has prompted research to find alternative energy sources, including bioethanol. Bioethanol, as an alternative energy source, can be used as a transportation fuel better than fossil-based fuels because ethanol has a high octane number, laminar velocity and heat of vaporisation. Meanwhile, the level of carbon and hydrocarbon emissions is low so it can increase combustion efficiency in vehicles. In addition, the use of bioethanol as fuel is environmentally friendly and renewable. Ethanol can be produced through a fermentation process using ethanol-producing yeast. Pineapple honey is known for its high sugar and other nutrient content, so it is supposed that many types of yeast can grow well in it. This study aims to isolation and screening of bioethanol-producing yeast from Pineapple Honey. This study was carried out by yeast isolation method, primary yeast screening, secondary yeast screening, and characterisation of selected yeast isolates. Data on ethanol production by yeast isolates were analysed by ANOVA with α=0.05 using the R studio program. This primary isolation and screening phase found eight yeast isolates capable of fermenting glucose and producing acid and gas in the test medium. Test ethanol production in DPE medium with 18% glucose content on all isolates showed that all isolates could produce ethanol with a range of 4.20-10.35%. Isolates of IK4 showed the highest ethanol production ability (10.35%) (p<0.5%) in significant contrast to the other seven isolates. Based on macroscopic and microscopic morphological characterisations, IKM 4 isolates show similarities to the genus Saccharomyces Keywords: ethanol, pineapple, yeasts

Abstract

Ijen geopark is one of Indonesia's geoparks, which is located in East Java. A total of 153 bacteria have been isolated from Pelangi Forest, which were then given the isolate code IHP. These bacterial isolates can be utilized in industries, including organic matter decomposer agents, plant biocontrol agents, and probiotics. To ensure these bacteria are safe to use in various fields, they must be non-disease-causing (non-pathogenic). Safety evaluations based on the hemolysis reactions offer simple tests to ease the analysis of potential pathogenic bacteria. The study aimed to evaluate the safety of bacterial isolates from Pelangi Forest for their hemolysis reactions. The hemolysis test was conducted using blood agar media, from which isolates with a negative (λ) reaction. Based on the results of hemolysis tests, 30 out of 153 bacterial isolates (19.60%) were found to be negative reactions. These bacteria are safe to proceed with for potential analysis.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk meningkatkan ketuntasan belajar fisika materi hukum newton dan penerapannya siswa kelas X B UPT SMA Negeri Olahraga melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika pengelolaan pembelajaran oleh guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share menunjukkan peningkatan pada tiap Siklus. Keterampilan kooperatif siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar menunjukkan bahwa seluruh siswa dapat melaksanakan keterampilan kooperatif dengan baik sehingga menumbuhkan kehidupan bersosial dalam kelas. Dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan ketuntasan belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya hasil tes tiap Siklus. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian yang ada secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep besaran dan satuan, dan dapat meningkatkan ketuntasan belajar baik secara kognitif, afektif yaitu ditunjukkan dengan keterampilan kooperatif yang dilakukan oleh siswa, serta menumbuhkan sifat bersosial dan kolaboratif antar sesama siswa dan guru.

Abstract

Agricultural extension endeavors in Bocek Village, Karangploso District persist in bolstering agricultural production despite pandemic restrictions. The study scrutinized the communication strategies employed by agricultural extension personnel in disseminating information to farmer groups during the COVID-19 period. The survey methodology, encompassing cell phone interviews and questionnaires, was administered to 30 farmers and extension workers via purposive sampling. Findings indicated that individual face-to-face and cellular telephone-mediated communications were utilized, as group gatherings were curtailed due to restrictions. Alternatives such as farm and home visits were pursued. Farmers continued to adopt recommended technologies and implement provided recommendations, with the performance of agricultural extension falling within a moderate category. Despite challenges, agricultural extension activities persevered amid the pandemic. The messaging conveyed by BPP Karangploso extension workers not only addresses the needs but also employs language that is comprehensible, enabling farmers to readily grasp and respond effectively to the conveyed message.

Abstract

Study of Productivity and Income of Lowland Rice Farming the Impact of Agricultural machinery Aid, Seeds and Fertilizer is implemented in Malang Regency with sample of location and sample of farmer determined purposively (sampling) in 3 (three) Subdistricts and 6 (six) farmer group who received machinery aid, seeds and fertilizers. The sample of respondents was determined by non-proportioned random sampling method with 15 farmer groups each. Thus, the number of respondents as many as 90 members of the group. This study aims to determine the production, productivity and income of lowland rice farming before and after obtaining agricultural machinery aid, seeds, and fertilizers. Measurement of production is done by weighing the weight of dry grain harvest with tons unit. Productivity is measured by a partial productivity approach that is the production per hectare. Income is analysed using financial analysis. Comparative analysis using Students Test. The results showed that government aid in the form of agricultural machinery, seeds, and fertilizer subsidies can increase production 0.179 tons with an average land area of 0.44 hectares, increase productivity by 0.41 ton / ha or increase 7%, and increase income by Rp2,871,465.00 per hectare or increase 28.96%.

Abstract

Transportasi laut hingga saat ini masih memegang peranan yang sangat penting sebagai alat angkut dalam jumlah besar yang belum dapat dilakukan oleh angkutan lainnya. Oleh sebab itu tingkat keselamatan menjadi prioritas untuk menunjang keselamatan awak kapal. Untuk meningkatkan keselamatan telah diatur dalam regulasi SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) Consolidated 2020 Chapter III tentang Life Saving Appliances and Arrangements. Keadaan darurat di atas kapal bisa terjadi kapan saja dan mempunyai resiko bagi awak kapal.  untuk menunjang keselamatan awak kapal maka alat keselamatan di atas kapal harus selalu dalam keadaan siap digunakan.  Evaluasi terhadap alat keselamatan di MV. Tanto Senang perlu dilakukan berdasarkan Regulasi SOLAS Consolidated 2020. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh langsung melalui wawancara dan observasi selama melaksanakan penelitian di MV. Tanto Senang. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk mengetahui secara menyeluruh mengenai sebab akibat dari penerapan Life Saving Appliances di MV. Tanto Senang penelitian ini menggunakan metode fishbone dalam menganalisis sebuah masalah. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah, spesifikasi, perawatan alat keselamatan, dan realisasi pelaksanaan drill MV. Tanto Senang serta mencari tahu sebab dan akibat penerapan alat keselamatan tidak sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan oleh SOLAS Consolidated 2020 Chapter III tentang Life Saving Appliances and Arrangements, LSA Code 2017 Edition, maupun SMK (Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan) Perusahaan. Dari hasil analisis menggunakan metode fishbone, peneliti menemukan bahwa penerapan alat keselamatan belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan SOLAS Consolidated 2020, LSA Code 2017 Edition, maupun SMK Perusahaan baik secara jumlah, spesifikasi, perawatan dan realisasi pelaksanaan drill. Ketidaksesuaian alat keselamatan di MV. Tanto Senang diakibatkan kurangnya perawatan dan juga belum sepenuhnya melakukan plan maintenance system selain itu jarang dilakukan inspeksi secara langsung di atas kapal. Sebaiknya plan maintenance system agar dijalankan untuk menunjang kelayakan alat keselamatan di atas kapal.

Abstract

ABSTRAKIndustri kertas merupakan salah satu industri penting di Indonesia yang cukup besar kontribusinya terhadap pendapatan negara. Industri kertas menghasilkan limbah yang disebut sebagai sludge. Sludge dapat dikategorikan sebagai limbah organik karena berasal dari kayu dan bubur kertas (pulp) yang diolah untuk menjadi kertas. Akan tetapi limbah tersebut terindikasi mengandung logam berat yang diperlukan sebagai bahan baku dan katalis. Pencemaran logam berat pada lahan pertanian dapat berlanjut pada tercemarnya organ tanaman seperti akar, daun, batang dan gabah yang dihasilkan. Hal ini berbahaya bagi kesehatan lingkungan dan manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji unsur cuaca selama pertanaman padi dan kandungan logam berat (Hg, Cd dan Pb) pada tanaman padi (akar, batang, daun dan bulir) di kawasan industri limbah kertas di Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan mengkaji data cuaca dari BMKG Karangploso dan menguji organ tanaman padi di lahan pertanian di sekitar industri tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan Februari-Maret 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa temperatur rata-rata tertinggi dan temperatur maksimum tertinggi serta lama penyinaran terpanjang dan radiasi matahari tertinggi terjadi pada Oktober 2023 berturut-turut adalah 25.6°C; 32.3°C; 92% dan 445 gr Kal/cm2, sedangkan temperatur minimum tertinggi 21.1°C pada November 2023. Curah hujan tertinggi sebesar 496 mm pada September 2022. Uji laboratorium menunjukkan bahwa logam berat Hg, Cd, dan Pb yang ditemukan pada organ tanaman padi (akar, batang, daun dan bulir) pada lahan pertanian lokasi atas, tengah dan bawah di sekitar industri kertas semuanya berada di atas ambang batas yang diijinkan.  ABSTRACTPaper industry is one of the key industries in Indonesia, significantly contributing to state income. This industry produces waste known as sludge, which can be categorized as organic waste because it comes from wood and pulp processed to make paper. However, this sludge is indicated to contain heavy metals which are needed as raw materials and catalysts. Heavy metal pollution on agricultural land can lead to contamination of plant organs such as roots, leaves, stems and grain produced. This is dangerous for the environment and human health. The aim of this research is to examine weather elements during rice planting and heavy metal content (Hg, Cd and Pb) in rice plants (roots, stems, leaves and grains) in the waste paper industrial area in Malang Regency. The research was carried out by reviewing weather data from BMKG Karangploso and testing rice plant organs on agricultural land around the industry. The research took place in February-March 2024. The results showed that the highest average temperature, highest maximum temperature, longest exposure time, and the highest solar radiation occurred in October 2023, with values of 25.6°C; 32.3°C; 92% and 445 gr Cal/cm2, respectively. Meanwhile, the highest minimum temperature was 21.1°C in November 2023. The highest rainfall was 496 mm in September 2022. Laboratory tests showed that the heavy metals Hg, Cd, and Pb were found in the rice plant organs (roots, stems, leaves and grain) on agricultural land in the upper, middle and lower locations around the paper industry, all exceeding the permitted threshold.
