Abstract

Reproductive health issues remain a significant concern among adolescents. Data from the Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) in 2012 indicate an increase in premarital sexual behavior among adolescents, which may lead to various negative consequences such as unwanted pregnancy, abortion, sexually transmitted infections, and sexual violence. This condition highlights the importance of health education efforts to improve adolescents’ knowledge of reproductive health. This study aimed to determine the effect of health education counseling on adolescents’ knowledge of reproductive health. This study employed a quasi-experimental design using a one group pre-test and post-test approach. A total of 20 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a reproductive health knowledge questionnaire. Health education counseling was provided after the pre-test, followed by a post-test to assess changes in knowledge levels. Data analysis was conducted using the paired sample t-test. The results showed an increase in adolescents’ knowledge levels after receiving health education counseling. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference between knowledge levels before and after the intervention (p = 0.036). Conclusion Health education counseling has a significant effect on improving adolescents’ knowledge of reproductive health

Abstract

The high demand for organic bok choy vegetables is driven by the increasing prevalence of degenerative diseases, which are often associated with unhealthy consumption patterns. However, farmers in Cepogo District, Boyolali Regency, still face challenges in determining the optimal selling price. This study aims to estimate consumers' willingness to pay (WTP) for organic bok choy vegetables in Cepogo District, Boyolali Regency, and analyze the factors influencing consumers' WTP for purchasing organic bok choy in the same area. The research employs the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) to estimate the WTP value for organic bok choy. Additionally, logistic regression analysis is used to evaluate the factors affecting WTP. The findings indicate that the average WTP for organic bok choy in Cepogo District, Boyolali Regency, is IDR 5,760.00 per 500 grams. Education level, awareness of organic bok choy and belief in organic bok choy are identified as factors positively influencing consumers' WTP.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model prediktif bangkitan perjalanan pada Tempat Istirahat dan Pelayanan (TIP) atau rest area di jalan tol Indonesia. Data primer dikumpulkan dari delapan rest area aktif di koridor tol Trans-Jawa selama enam hari pada tahun 2024, yang mencakup dua periode berbeda, yaitu Lebaran (arus puncak) dan non-Lebaran (arus reguler). Pendekatan regresi multivariat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi variabel signifikan yang memengaruhi volume kendaraan dan durasi lama singgah pengunjung, dengan membedakan variabel deterministik—seperti luas lahan, jumlah nozel pompa SPBU, jumlah fasilitas standar dan tambahan, konektivitas, serta arah perjalanan—dan karakteristik stokastik berupa ketidakpastian waktu kedatangan kendaraan pengunjung. Model prediktif dibangun terpisah untuk kedua periode guna menangkap variasi musiman perilaku pengguna jalan tol. Selain itu, dilakukan analisis fungsi distribusi probabilitas untuk menentukan distribusi statistik paling sesuai dalam memodelkan karakteristik stokastik lalu lintas pengunjung. Model divalidasi menggunakan uji chi-square, AIC, BIC, RSME, MAE, dan MAPE untuk mendapatkan model terbaik masing-masing periode, serta dibandingkan dengan literatur dan standar teknis sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada periode Lebaran, keputusan singgah di rest area lebih dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan SPBU bersubsidi dan kapasitas pompanya, sedangkan pada periode non-Lebaran lebih dipengaruhi oleh kelengkapan fasilitas di rest area. Pola kedatangan kendaraan ke rest area pada periode Lebaran menunjukkan fluktuasi yang jauh lebih tinggi dan mengikuti distribusi log‑normal, sedangkan pada periode non‑Lebaran pola kedatangan relatif stabil dengan sebaran yang lebih seragam (uniform). Model yang dihasilkan lebih akurat untuk kondisi di Indonesia dibandingkan dengan standar dan literatur sebelumnya. Model ini diharapkan menjadi dasar bagi standarisasi bangkitan perjalanan dan menjadi dasar pengambilan keputusan berbasis data untuk desain, pengelolaan, dan mitigasi rest area tol nasional.

Abstract

Community health problems in Indonesia are increasingly complex, including the rising burden of non-communicable diseases, communicable diseases, nutritional issues, and psychosocial problems, particularly among vulnerable populations such as the elderly. This community service aimed to implement an integrated community health promotion program through education, screening, and preventive interventions in Rejomulyo Village, Kediri. This study used a community-based participatory approach with a descriptive evaluative design. The program involved approximately 65 participants and included health education sessions, health screenings (vital signs, anthropometry, biochemical tests, and physical function assessment), and preventive interventions such as local food-based supplementary feeding and smoke-free household promotion. Data were collected through observation, screening records, and participant responses, and analyzed descriptively.The results showed that a significant proportion of participants were at risk of non-communicable diseases, including hypertension, elevated blood glucose, and abnormal nutritional status. Health education activities improved participants’ knowledge and awareness of disease prevention, clean and healthy living behaviors, and environmental health risks. Preventive interventions were well accepted, with increased community commitment to adopting healthier lifestyles, including routine health monitoring and smoke-free home practices.In conclusion, the integrated approach combining education, screening, and preventive interventions proved effective in improving community awareness, enabling early detection of health risks, and promoting sustainable health behaviors. This model has the potential to be replicated in other communities to enhance public health outcomes.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the economy of MSMEs, and implementing economic recovery strategies is essential in mitigating its effects. Economic recovery efforts should focus on improving welfare measures for people and nations, leading to international economic recovery. Starting at the micro level and moving up to the macro level is crucial in ensuring that the recovery efforts benefit all levels of the economy. The Bulak Fish Market Center is a vital hub for MSMEs dealing with fish and other natural resources, sourced from the sea. The pandemic has led to reduced jobs, production, and income for MSMEs, underscoring the need for effective government policies to support their growth and development. This study seeks to examine the impact of government policies aimed at empowering MSMEs and fostering business development strategies, particularly in the digitalization era, at the Bulak Market Center in Surabaya City. Business development aspects such as digital marketing, product and service quality assurance, and customer relationship marketing were analyzed using qualitative research methods such as observations, interviews, documentation, and analysis of previous studies. The results indicate that government policies intended to support economic recovery through MSMEs are not fully implemented at the Bulak Fish Market Center. The research findings can provide valuable insights to the government to evaluate the effectiveness of their policies and educate readers who are pursuing similar businesses. However, it should be noted that the research only focused on one object, and further research is necessary to generalize the findings to a wider population

Abstract

This research is motivated by some students who have not been able to concentrate in learning, so that efforts are needed to improve student learning concentration by using the right techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of efforts to improve student learning concentration using Self-management techniques through group guidance in class XI IPA 1 SMA Tamansiswa Teluk Betung in the 2022/2023 academic year". This research uses the Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) method which is carried out in two cycles. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the problem of learning concentration in students before obtaining group guidance services with Self-management techniques obtained 50.25% after getting group guidance services with Self-management techniques in cycle I reached 56.25% in the low to medium category. Thus it can be concluded that the Self-management technique is effective in increasing learning concentration, this is indicated by the acquisition of cycle II results implemented by researchers.

Abstract

Sale pisang merupakan makanan olahan dari buah pisang yang dikeringkan, proses pembuatannya menjadikan sale pisang memiliki rasa dan aroma yang khas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji biaya, penerimaan, keuntungan, efisiensi usaha, dan risiko usaha industri sale pisang skala rumah tangga di Kecamatan Karangpucung. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan didukung teknik survei. Penentuan daerah penelitian dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 41 produsen yang diambil dengan teknik sensus. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya rata-rata yang dikeluarkan oleh usaha industri sale pisang goreng sebesar Rp2.178.148,52 per bulan, penerimaan rata-rata sebesar Rp2.818.842,11 per bulan, keuntungan rata-rata sebesar Rp640.693,58 per bulan. Sementara pada industri sale pisang mentah di Kecamatan Karangpucung, biaya rata-rata sebesar Rp1.603.405,09 per bulan, penerimaan rata-rata sebesar Rp2.850.545,45 per bulan, keuntungan rata-rata sebesar Rp1.222.353,64 per bulan. Usaha industri sale pisang goreng dan sale pisang memiliki nilai efisiensi secara berturut-turut 1,29 dan 1,75. Usaha industri sale pisang goreng memiliki nilai koefisien variasi keuntungan sebesar 1,07 dan nilai batas bawah keuntungan -729.606,85. Sedangkan usaha sale pisang yang menjual sale pisang mentah, memiliki nilai koefisien variasi keuntungan sebesar 0,21 dan nilai batas bawah keuntungan Rp700.591,80. Kedua jenis usaha sale pisang menguntungkan dan sudah efisien untuk diusahakan. Usaha sale pisang goreng memiliki tingkat risiko yang tinggi sehingga tidak layak untuk diusahakan, sedangkan usaha sale pisang mentah terhindar dari risiko dan layak untuk diusahakan.  Kata kunci: biaya; efisiensi; keuntungan; penerimaan; risiko

Abstract

The increase in public interest in consuming ready-made foods such as street food culinary and the number of street vendors in the food or beverage sector is quite high in Surakarta City making more diversity of consumer tastes in choosing snacks, one of the street foods is Uma Yum Cha dim sum. It is necessary to know about consumer preferences so that business owners are able to meet consumer expectations to provide satisfaction to consumers. This study aims to determine consumer preferences and what attributes are considered by consumers in purchasing Uma Yum Cha dim sum in Surakarta City.  Sampling using purposive sampling method with 100 respondents. The analysis methods used are chi-square analysis and fishbein multiattribute analysis. The results showed that the categories of each attribute of Uma Yum Cha dim sum that became consumer preferences included dim sum with a slightly spicy savory taste, a quantity of 4 pcs, a soft texture, medium dim sum size, and promotion through internet media and the most considered attribute by consumers in purchasing Uma Yum Cha dim sum consecutively are taste, texture, quantity, size, and promotion
