Abstract

The rapid development of the Islamic economic system in Indonesia has raised significant legal concerns, particularly regarding consumer protection disputes within Islamic financial institutions. The jurisdictional competence of Religious Courts in adjudicating such disputes has been a subject of legal debate, given the apparent contradiction between the Consumer Protection Act (Law No. 8 of 1999), which designates General Courts as the competent forum, and the Religious Courts Act (Law No. 3 of 2006), which establishes the exclusive jurisdiction of Religious Courts over Islamic economic matters. This study employs a normative juridical approach, analysing relevant legislation and judicial decisions to clarify the legal position of Religious Courts in resolving consumer protection disputes in Islamic finance. The findings indicate that the Constitutional Court’s ruling affirms the exclusive jurisdiction of Religious Courts over Islamic economic disputes, rendering the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act regarding General Court jurisdiction inapplicable in such cases. However, discrepancies in judicial interpretations and procedural inconsistencies highlight the need for legislative harmonisation and judicial capacity-building. This study concludes that comprehensive legal reform is required to reinforce the authority of Religious Courts in consumer protection matters within the Islamic economic framework

Abstract

The results of the needs analysis of class IV at SDN 3 Tugu Tulungagung showed that there were students who had difficulty in understanding the teacher's explanation in interpreting sentences in Indonesian reading texts and the minimal use of learning media caused students to tend to be passive. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively and qualitative data were analyzed using a Likert scale. The results obtained from the development of Roulette Bingo Media in Indonesian language learning for class IV related to the material on main ideas and supporting ideas based on the assessment determined by the material expert obtained a percentage of 87.5%, and media expert validation of 92.5% with the category "Very Appropriate". Meanwhile, the response from the teacher to the Roulette Bingo media received a percentage of 100% and the response from students was 94.4% with the category "Very Good". The results of this study indicate that the development of the Roulette Bingo media can be used as a tool to support learning materials that are fun and make students more active and motivated to follow the learning, but still has a drawback, namely the arrow on the Roulette is a little difficult to rotate, it is hoped that the Roulette can be rotated easily and practically in its use and adjusted to the needs of students.

Abstract

On the other hand, Islam emphasizes on equality, justice, takāful, freedom and honor, and has theocentrism humanistic concept as a core value of all its teachings. Therefore, it is always interesting to explore the  development of Islamic civilization. At the same time, in translating the concept of the sky to the earth, Islam has dynamic character, elastic and accommodating the local culture, as long as not contrary to the principles of Islam itself. The problem only lies in the procedures and technical implementation. In the context of Indonesian Islamic propaganda, its spread is never separated from the role of Wali Songo. This wali, although many people believed that their mission is much influenced by Sufism thought, but that does not mean they do not consider other aspects, such as geo-strategy, geo-politics, socio-cultural and others. The relationship between Islam and local issues is a never ended thrill. The intimate connection between the two is triggered by excitement followers of Islam who believe in religion with the slogan: shālih li kull zamān wa makān. In this regard, it is reasonable attempt to reconcile between religion and culture. Demak Mosque is a concrete example of the attempt of reconciliation or the accommodation. Islamic way of greeting the local culture is to change the substance of particular locality towards universal-religious as can be seen in the process of Islamization puppet by giving nuances of symbolic-religious character of Islamization than Arabization. Abstract

Universality in Islam is close to the belief that the earth is round. This is especially true for nowadays, when the idea is often expressed for merely part of an apologia or for more serious discussion. Culture is an inseparable part in Islamic thought, as an integral part of human diversity, which has dynamic pattern. Ironically, in the middle of dynamics in the community, there are several sub-cultures that seem not quite compatible with the values taught and offered by Islam, such as the culture of queuing-laziness, the culture of anticorruption, the culture of intolerance and so forth. This culture is precisely exhibited in many Muslim populated countries, including Indonesia. Theology discusses the basic tenets of a religion, while culture is the totality of the object (intellectual culture) that is supported by the subject (individual, group, class, sectors of society). Conventionally, the words madinah is defined as a city. But linguistically, the word implies civilization. In the Arabic, civilization is expressed in words or tamaddun madaniyah, other than in words hadlārah. There are two basic values embodied in the Charter of Medina as a base in establishing the state of Medina. First, al-Musāwah wa al- ‘adālah, the principle of equality and fairness, second, inclusiveness (openness). In the context of Indonesia, two largest non-government organization of NU and Muhammadiyah are examples of how the efforts to develop the basic values of civil society. Abstract

The people of Tengger are known as a strong society in upholding the essential values of the sublime as the inheritance of the ancestors. The development of the tourism industry (especially Mount Bromo Peak), does not affect the Tengger community in implementing the socio-cultural values that exist. This persistency is seemly caused by the process of institutionalization of the values in this unique community. The institutionalization process of socio-cultural values in Tengger society is inseparable from the role of socialization of the socio-cultural values itself, both from government leaders, adat leaders, and family leaders. The process of institutionalizing values to society passes through several stages including the "known, understood, obeyed and valued" stage. The process of knowledge of socio-cultural values of citizens is done through learning from parents since they leave juveniles. Routine activities undertaken by parents indirectly will tend to be known and then very likely to be learned by the child. Keywords: Tengger society, values, institutionalization, socio-cultural
