Abstract

Laren Village in Laren District, Lamongan Regency, is traversed by the Bengawan Solo River, which is crucial for agriculture, fisheries, industry, and domestic needs. However, excessive use poses risks of pollution and flooding. Floods can cause material losses, infrastructure damage, environmental contamination, disease outbreaks, traffic disruption, and water scarcity. Effective mitigation measures are vital to reduce these risks. Internet of Things (IoT)-based technology offers an effective solution for flood risk mitigation. IoT enables real-time monitoring and decision-making using rule-based algorithms that analyze data patterns, set conditions, and automatically respond to potential threats. On August 6, 2024, observation data showed Bengawan Solo's water level ranged between 119 cm and 170 cm, mostly categorized as "Safe." However, the last two measurements, at 117 cm and 119 cm, shifted the status to "Caution," signaling a need for vigilance. The average water level of 151.7 cm indicated an overall "Safe" condition, yet the sudden drop underscores the importance of continuous monitoring. IoT systems with rule-based algorithms can detect real-time changes, enabling swift risk mitigation. Abstract

Network management and monitoring are crucial, especially in educational environments such as SMK Wachid Hasjim Maduran, which has a network with various devices and connected clients. The high number of users accessing the network often leads to bandwidth issues. This research aims to implement The Dude, a MikroTik-based network monitoring application, to detect and address bandwidth problems and monitor the status of client devices (up/down). The system is equipped with a notification feature that sends real-time information to network administrators via Telegram regarding the network's condition. Monitoring is conducted using The Dude, which can map all devices in the network and monitor their performance and status. When a bandwidth issue occurs or a client device goes down, the system automatically sends a notification to Telegram. This allows administrators to take the necessary actions promptly without always being in front of the computer. The results of this implementation show that utilizing The Dude in combination with Telegram notifications is effective in real-time network monitoring, reducing downtime, and improving response to network issues. This system is expected to be an efficient solution for network management in educational environments and can be adopted by other institutions facing similar challenges.   Keywords - MikroTik, Monitoring, Telegram Notification, The Dude.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of principals’ instructional leadership and school culture on teacher performance, with teacher self-efficacy as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from senior high school teachers in Brebes District via validated questionnaires and analyzed through path analysis. Results show that instructional leadership (β = 0.542) and self-efficacy (β = 0.383) significantly affect teacher performance, while school culture has a weaker direct effect (β = 0.027). Both instructional leadership (β = 0.332) and school culture (β = 0.543) significantly influence self-efficacy. The Sobel test confirms that self-efficacy mediates the effects of instructional leadership (Sobel = 4.614; p = 0.003) and school culture (Sobel = 5.629; p = 0.001) on performance. The study highlights the importance of strong instructional leadership and a positive school culture in enhancing teacher self-efficacy and performance. It recommends principals to reinforce leadership practices and promote supportive school environments. Future studies should explore broader contexts and include variables such as motivation or job satisfaction.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan merupakan salah satu fokus utama dalam pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) ke-4, yaitu Quality Education. Dalam konteks tersebut, guru memiliki peran strategis sebagai agen utama perubahan pendidikan, di mana komitmen profesional menjadi faktor penentu kinerja yang berdampak langsung pada mutu pembelajaran. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara komitmen guru dan kinerja guru serta implikasinya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan nasional. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kajian literatur (literature review) dengan menelaah berbagai hasil penelitian empiris, buku ilmiah, dan artikel akademik yang relevan dengan bidang manajemen pendidikan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen guru yang meliputi dimensi afektif, normatif, dan berkelanjutan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru dalam aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Guru dengan komitmen tinggi cenderung lebih inovatif, adaptif terhadap perubahan, dan memiliki tanggung jawab profesional yang kuat. Implikasi dari temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan komitmen guru melalui dukungan kelembagaan, pelatihan berkelanjutan, dan kebijakan yang menumbuhkan kesejahteraan profesi merupakan strategi penting untuk mewujudkan pendidikan nasional yang bermutu dan berdaya saing global. Secara ilmiah, hasil kajian ini memperkaya pemahaman tentang peran komitmen dalam peningkatan kinerja guru, sedangkan secara praktis memberikan arah kebijakan bagi lembaga pendidikan dalam pengembangan profesionalisme guru.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of technopreneurship in increasing the competitive advantage of student MSMEs in Semarang City through digital marketing capability. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique in this research is a quota random sampling technique. This technique is used because the grouping of MSMEs is united into one group, namely the student MSME group in Semarang City which is technology oriented. The number of samples in this research was 120 student MSME actors in Semarang City. The analytical method used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with the help of the SmartPLS program. The research results show that digital marketing capability and innovation capability directly have a positive and significant influence on the competitive advantage of student MSMEs in Semarang City. Technopreneurship has a significant effect on competitive advantage. Indirectly, technopreneurship has a significant effect on competitive advantage through digital marketing capability. However, indirectly, innovation capability has no significant effect on competitive advantage through digital marketing capability. The implication of this research is that student MSMEs that are run by students tend to be more adaptive to technological developments, so that a technopreneurship approach will be very helpful in increasing the competitive advantage of student MSMEs.

Abstract

Education is the main foundation in building quality and competitive human resources (HR) in the global era. The quality of education is an important indicator in determining a nation's ability to face technological developments, global competition, and the demands of 21st century competencies. This study aims to describe the policy of developing the quality of education in Indonesia through several main aspects, namely strengthening infrastructure, revitalizing the curriculum, improving the quality of teachers, utilizing educational technology, character education, and learning from international practices. The study was carried out through a literature study of policy documents, government reports, and previous research. The results of the study show that education policies in Indonesia have moved towards a more adaptive direction, including the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, the Teacher Driving program, school digitalization, and strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile. However, challenges such as infrastructure inequality, teacher competency gaps, low digital literacy, and uneven implementation of P5 are still obstacles. This article contributes theoretically and practically to education policy studies in Indonesia by providing an integrative analytical framework for evaluating policy directions in education quality improvement and offering strategic insights to support evidence-based and sustainable policy formulation. It is necessary to strengthen governance, equitable distribution of facilities, increase teacher capacity, and cross-sector collaboration to support the sustainable development of education quality.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to design a social and cultural literacy instrument for materials on social and cultural diversity for MTs students. The method of this research is Research and Development (R&D) using a model called ADDIE. This study involved seventh-grade students of MTs Negeri 2 Kota Cirebon as subjects. The validation results from subject matter experts obtained a score of 92,8% and language expert obtained a score of 88%, confirming that this instrumen is “very feasible”. Empiricaly validity shows that 25 of the 30 questions are valid with a very high level of reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0,917). The characteristics of the questions were dominated by a “medium” level of difficulty and “good” discriminating power. The instrument was also proven to be effective in improving students’ socio-cultural literacy, as shown by an increase in the average score from 60.5 to 87 and an n-gain score of 0.7003 in the “high” category. The significant difference between the pretest and posttest results was confirmed by the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The students’ responses fell into the “very effective” category, confirming that the instrument was easy to understand, interesting, and relevant, making it suitable and effective for use by MTs students.

kodingworks merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang menggunakan sistem software as a service (saas), yang artinya perusahaan lebih fokus membuat pelayanan dari aplikasi dan bukan menjual aplikasinya. salah satu fokus kodingworks sebagai penyedia perangkat lunak adalah bagaimana perangkat lunak tersebut dapat berkomunikasi dengan pelanggan melalui antarmuka yang mudah digunakan dan nyaman dilihat, hal ini merupakan proses dari pengembangan antarmuka yang ditanggungjawabi oleh seorang atau tim pengembang. salah satu metode untuk membuat antarmuka adalah menggunakan metode membuat prototipe. hasil dari protipe merupakan sebuah aplikasi yang sudah berfungsi dan dapat disebarkan di website,yang nantinya akan di tes oleh tim pengetes. dalam pembuatannya terdapat alur yang sudah direncakan oleh perusahaan untuk mencegah terjadinya kesalahan dan memastikan keluaran produk yang dikeluarkan sesuai dengan standar yang berlaku di pasaran.kata-kunci : pelayanan, pengembangan antarmuka, prototipe, website, perangkat lunak.

Abstract

Science learning in facilitating scientific literacy has not been optimally implemented in several junior high schools in Toba Regency. An evaluation of the science learning program is required to obtain an overview of the quality of program implementation as well as the scientific literacy profile of students. This study aims to analyze the quality of the implementation of the science learning program in facilitating scientific literacy and to identify students’ scientific literacy profiles. The study employed a mixed-methods approach, collecting qualitative and quantitative data through the application of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Lumban Julu and SMP Negeri 2 Lumban Julu. Data were collected using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and scientific literacy tests. Test data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques with the assistance of Microsoft Excel and Winstep software through Rasch modeling. Non-test data were analyzed using the Miles and Hubeman model. The results indicate that in both schools, the context and input components were categorized as complete, while the process component was categorized as good. In the product component, students’ scientific literacy achievement was in the moderate to high category across all indicators. Based on these findings, the implementation of the science learning program still needs to be improved, particularly in aspects that have not been optimally implemented, in order to enhance students’ scientific literacy.
