Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study examined through literary ecocriticism which aims to: Explain the form of environmental phenomena in the novel Dalam Peluhan Rahim Tanah, Wanita Bermata Gurita by Jemmy Piran; Explain the value of environmental education in reducing environmental damage. The data of this research are words, phrases, clauses, sentences, both narrative and conversational based on the form of environmental phenomena and the value of environmental education. The data source is the novel Dalam Peluhan Rahim Tanah by Jemmy Piran. The data collection techniques used are reading techniques, note-taking techniques, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the study show that: The representation of the form of environmental phenomena in the novel Dalam Peluhan Rahim Tanah by Jemmy Piran contains pollution, wilderness, disasters, housing/residence, animals and the earth. The representation of environmental education values includes respect for nature, responsibility, compassion and care, cosmic solidarity, not harming nature, simple and harmonious living, justice, democracy, and moral integration.

Abstract

This study explores the representation of female resistance to arranged marriage in contemporary Madurese song lyrics. The analysis focuses on three songs: Benni Peleyan Bula (2014) by Yuli Asiska, Mateh Rassa (2022), and Mile Reng Towah (2024) by Ahmed Habsy. Using a qualitative approach with ethnofeminism and literary futurology as analytical frameworks, the findings reveal that resistance does not always appear as direct defiance but is expressed through forms such as active resignation, emotional disappointment, and reflective awareness. These expressions signify a shift in cultural values and the emergence of new social imaginaries within Madurese society. Song lyrics serve not only as entertainment but also as symbolic spaces where women negotiate identity, express dissent, and envision a more gender-equitable future. Through emotional narratives, these songs project alternative cultural futures where women possess greater autonomy in choosing their life partners and defining their own happiness.

Abstract

Flipped learning is a teaching strategy that reverses traditional teaching methods by delivering teaching content, often online, outside the classroom. Flipped learning uses technology as a learning strategy. In the increasingly developing digital era, the world of technology has been shaken by the emergence of artificial intelligence or AI (Artificial Intelligence). Chat GPT uses AI technology to interact with users through text-based conversations. This study aims to conduct a systematic review of Chat GPT integrated flipped learning in the digital era. The search for reference materials in this literature review uses articles published by the SINTA (Science and Technology Index) journal and Google Scholar which are guaranteed to be valid. The results of the study show that the use of the Chat GPT integrated flipped learning model has a very positive impact on students because based on the existing literature review, all of them state that students are encouraged to learn more independently and effectively so that learning outcomes increase and students are more prepared and enthusiastic during learning. However, Chat GPT is a tool, not a substitute for teachers, integration with other learning resources, and the implementation of academic policies that ensure its use is responsible. Therefore, Chat GPT integrated flipped learning in the world of education can be an innovative solution in facing learning challenges in the digital era, while supporting the development of 21st century skills.

Abstract

Desain RPM (Rekon, Puisi, Musikalisasi) merupakan inovasi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang mengintegrasikan metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL) dan media gambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis Teks Rekon (cerita ulang). Teks rekon, yang berfungsi menceritakan kembali peristiwa masa lalu secara kronologis, seringkali sulit disusun secara sistematis oleh murid. Desain RPM bertujuan merevitalisasi pembelajaran yang didominasi metode ceramah dan pasif dengan menyediakan konteks autentik dan ruang eksplorasi. PjBL fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan murid melalui proyek nyata, di mana mereka tidak hanya belajar konsep teoritis tetapi juga menerapkannya. Kombinasi dengan media gambar berfungsi sebagai stimulus visual yang efektif untuk memvisualisasikan ide, membantu murid menata alur tulisan, dan mengekspresikan emosi. Tiga gagasan proyek utama dalam desain RPM adalah: (1) Rekon Berbasis Fotografi (Proyek 1): Murid memilih dan menyusun 5 hingga 7 foto pengalaman pribadi secara kronologis, kemudian menulis deskripsi naratif terpadu untuk setiap gambar, yang secara kolektif membentuk teks rekon lengkap. (2) Puisi atau Lagu dari Parafrase Gambar (Proyek 2): Murid memparafrasekan teks rekon menjadi larik puisi atau lirik lagu, berfokus pada interpretasi makna dan konstruksi irama/diksi. (3) Musikalisasi Puisi atau Lagu (Proyek 3): Murid menafsirkan naskah puisi/lagu, mengaransemennya, dan menampilkannya (langsung atau video) dengan gambar sebagai latar visual, mengembangkan kepekaan terhadap harmoni bahasa dan bunyi. Secara keseluruhan, desain RPM ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kualitas teks rekon, menumbuhkan kreativitas, kolaborasi, literasi visual dan verbal, serta mengubah pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan relevan.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the ability and interest of tenth-grade students at SMAN 13 Surabaya in performing tembang macapat within the context of Javanese language learning through the integration of the E-Srambahan application. The research employed the Kemmis and McTaggart classroom action research model. Data were collected through performance tests, observation, questionnaires, and interviews, involving 36 students from class X-2 with diverse cultural backgrounds. Quantitative analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25, including Levene’s Test and paired sample t-test, complemented by descriptive analysis. The findings revealed significant improvement in vocal performance, covering pleng (pitch accuracy), ngeng (rhythmic consistency), and greng (vocal strength). The students’ mean score increased from 64.7 (pre-cycle) to 74.3 (cycle I) and 83.2 (cycle II), while the mastery level rose from 25% to 91.7%. The paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000, confirming meaningful differences across cycles. The effectiveness of E-Srambahan was attributed to students’ improved interest and ability to imitate pitch, maintain rhythm, and enhance vocal projection. Challenges related to low self-confidence and limited vocal technique were successfully addressed through structured practice with the application. These results highlight the importance of integrating digital media grounded in local wisdom to enrich Javanese language education.

Abstract

E-Warong Berkah Harapan is one of the places where the SEMBAKO program aid packages are distributed, which serves nearly 400 aid recipients every month. The crowd that occurred was not impossible to cause a new transmission clutser for Covid19. Therefore, the service team from UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim conducted counseling on "Education on Healthy Lifestyle and the application of Adaptation to New Life Habits Post-Covid19 Pandemic". Before the counseling was carried out, the SEMBAKO package distribution activities neglected to maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter, did not use a mask and did not yet provide adequate hand washing facilities. The pre-test results about the management's knowledge also showed that the average test score was quite low, amounting to 49.77. After counseling, the post-test results showed a fairly high increase with an average score of 91.14. This increase shows that the management's knowledge has increased from the previous one. The service activity was also accompanied by the handing over of personal protective equipment for administrators in the form of face shields, masks, hand sanitizers, hand washing soap, plastic gloves and hand washing vats. It is hoped that the covid19 transmission chain can be broken and e-Warong administrators can do their job well and smoothly.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of students’ cerkak (Javanese short story) writing skills and digital literacy through the use of blogs in madrasah enviroment. The research is motivated by low interest in Javanese literature and creative obstacles found in conventional methods. Initial data from 18 students at MTsN Kota Madiun showed sub-optimal results, with only 2 students achieving the "excellent" category, while the majority fell into the "good" (10 students) and "fair" (6 students) categories. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining interviews with writing performance tests on blogs. The results showed a significant transformation; after guidance, 10 students reached the "excellent" category, 7 students were "good," and only 1 student remained "fair." This study concludes that blog media effectively stimulates creativity and substantially improves students' cerkak writing skills compared to conventional methods.

Abstract

Speaking skills are an essential component of language competence that should be developed in students from an early stage. This study aims to improve students’ speaking skills through the use of poetry materials as a learning medium. The research employed a mixed-methods approach with an experimental design. The research subjects were seventh-grade students of SMP Darul Ulum Surabaya, selected using purposive sampling, with a total of 30 students. The students were divided into several small groups to facilitate discussion and poetry presentation activities. Data collection techniques included speaking skill tests, observations, and documentation. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The results indicate that the use of poetry materials as a learning medium effectively improves students’ speaking skills, particularly in terms of pronunciation, intonation, fluency, and confidence in expressing ideas. Therefore, poetry-based learning can be considered an effective alternative instructional strategy to enhance students’ speaking skills at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut efisiensi dan daya cipta dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran, termasuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Artikel ini mengonseptualisasikan model integrasi manajemen pembelajaran dan administrasi kelas berbasis platform digital untuk mengatasi fragmentasi sistem. Permasalahan utama meliputi beban administratif guru, rendahnya sinkronisasi data siswa, dan minimnya platform terintegrasi. Konsep yang diajukan menghubungkan modul pembelajaran digital dengan instrumen administrasi dalam satu platform. Landasan teori meliputi TPACK, teori supervisi pembelajaran, dan prinsip LMS. Integrasi ini berpotensi menghemat waktu guru dibidang administrasi, memfasilitasi sinkronisasi data seketika, dan memungkinkan guru fokus pada perancangan pembelajaran berkualitas sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka. Studi ini menyumbangkan perspektif baru konvergensi teknologi pendidikan dengan manajemen pembelajaran dan menyajikan panduan pengembangan platform terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia serta efektivitas pengelolaan kelas di era digital.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the contributions and obstacles faced during the use of cyber literature in learning literature for the native generation. This research uses the literature review method with secondary data as its research object. Secondary data is obtained from literature considered relevant to the topic through searches on several platforms such as google scholar, sinta, scopus, and researcg gate. In addition, this research also limits the data source within a five-year period from 2019 to 2024. The steps used in data analysis include identification, categorisation, thematic analysis, synthesis, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the literary cyber platformis a platformthat can accommodate learning, especially in the field of literature. Literary cyber platforms are effective in increasing students' learning motivation. In addition, the literary cyber platformalso provides a place for students not only to learn to read and write, but can also be used as a medium for analysing literary texts. The analysis of literary texts is realised through the comment section provided on each platformwhere writers and readers can engage in meaningful communication. This communication is a form of analysis of the literary text presented.
