Abstract

The purpose of this research were to know (1) the best model among TGARCH model and EGARCH model on predicting JCI value in BEI (2) the results forecasting JCI value in BEI using the best model for a few days later. This reseacrh focused on analysis of TGARCH and EGARCH models in forecasting JCI value. Procedure which used in this research were formulate problem, collecting data, analysis data dan conclusion. Data collected with documentation method that is collected secondary data and literature. Software EVIEWS 6 used as a analysis tool of JCI data. This research result in conclusions that is (1) The best model among models TGARCH and EGARCH models on predicting JCI value in BEI is TGARCH model (2) The results forecasting JCI value in BEI use TGARCH model for day 42th is 5112.81 and for day 43th until day 50th obtained 5112.82 (constant).

Abstract

The development of science and technology in the current era of globalization can have a positive and negative impact on human life. Mathematical ability and cultural love need to be possessed by students. The methodology applied the qualitative method and collecting data using a written test and interview. This study used media wayang kulit with RME learning model applied to grade VII students SMP. The ability of mathematical representation in schools is less developed by subject teachers. Conventional learning results in students only being able to have the mathematical representation capabilities provided by the teacher. The process of developing a student's mathematical representation consists of the initial activity with sample observations and finding the concept of matter. Then students look at various examples and discover the concept of matter. When faced with problems, students can go through the stages of identifying problems, developing plans for the use of representation, and the use of representations to solve problems or communicate ideas they have. The cultural love that the students have during the learning process is described as finding the material concept. But when faced with a choice between the use of traditional media and technology, students prefer to use the media technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil model fuzzy-wavelet dalam memprediksi nilai tukar EUR/IDR dan tingkat akurasi model tersebut. Dengan mengambil data time series mingguan nilai tukar EUR/IDR 128 minggu terakhir, Model fuzzy-wavelet merupakan penggabungan dari wavelet dan fuzzy. Pemodelan fuzzy-wavelet diawali dengan transformasi wavelet menggunakan (Maximal Overlap Discrete Wavelet Transform) MODWT mother haar sebagai pre-prosesing dan hasil MODWT digunakan sebagai input dalam sistem inferensi fuzzy. Pemilihan input ditentukan berdasarkan plot (Autocorrelation Function) ACF dan aturan fuzzy ditentukan dengan metode table look-up scheme. Sistem inferensi fuzzy yang digunakan Mamdani dengan fungsi implikasi min dan komposisi antar aturan max. Selanjutnya himpunan fuzzy yang diperoleh dari proses inferensi diolah kembali menggunakan defuzzifikasi centroid untuk dijadikan bilangan tegas sebagai hasil dari prediksi nilai tukar EUR/IDR. Dengan semesta pembicaraan variabel input dan output yang sama, dibentuk 2 Model yaitu Model 1 menggunakan 9 himpunan fuzzy dan Model 2 menggunakan 5 himpunan fuzzy. Nilai MAPE dihitung untuk mengetahui keakuratan pada tiap model dan menentukan model terbaik. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model 1 menghasilkan nilai MAPE sebesar 0,85% dan 9 himpunan fuzzy dengan 12 variabel input. Model 1 merupakan model yang paling tepat untuk prediksi nilai tukar EUR/IDR dengan 128 data skala mingguan. This study aims to determine the results of the fuzzy-wavelet model in predicting the EUR / IDR exchange rate and the accuracy of the model. By taking the last week's EUR / IDR 128 week exchange rate data series, the fuzzy-wavelet model is a combination of wavelets and fuzzy. Fuzzy-wavelet modeling begins with a wavelet transformation using the mother haar (Maximal Overlap Discrete Wavelet Transform) MODWT as a pre-processing and the MODWT results are used as inputs in the fuzzy inference system. The selection of inputs is determined based on the plot (Autocorrelation Function) ACF and fuzzy rules are determined by the table look-up scheme method. The fuzzy inference system used by Mamdani with the min implication function and composition between rules max. Furthermore, the fuzzy set obtained from the inference process is reprocessed using the defuzzification of the centroid to become a firm number as a result of the predicted EUR / IDR exchange rate. With the same universe of input and output variables, 2 models are formed, namely Model 1 uses 9 fuzzy sets and Model 2 uses 5 fuzzy sets. The MAPE value is calculated to determine the accuracy of each model and determine the best model. The results of the study show that Model 1 produces MAPE values ​​of 0.85% and 9 fuzzy sets with 12 input variables. Model 1 is the most appropriate model for the prediction of the EUR / IDR exchange rate with 128 weekly scale data.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membangun model optimasi persediaan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dengan permintaan barang yang cenderung meningkat secara linear, mengetahui jumlah pemesanan bahan baku yang optimal dan mengaplikasikan simulasi model persediaan yang telah di bentuk. Penelitian dilakukan di PT. Hermon Indah, data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data jumlah permintaan bahan baku untuk proses produksi dan data yang diperoleh disimulasikan secara numerik terhadap model yang telah dibentuk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan interval waktu pemesanan yang optimal dapat dilakukan selama 8 hari dengan jumlah pemesanan yang optimal sebanyak dan total biaya persediaan barang Rp. 819.559,- untuk tiap kali pesanan diajukan.

Abstract

Students' mathematical critical thinking skills are still low, this is because the learning is still monotonous. Therefore, it is necessary to implement student-based learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the local culture-based Project Based Learning model in improving the critical thinking skills of class VIII students. This study uses a quantitative research approach. This design involved two groups of subjects, the experimental class was given treatment in the form of giving a Project Based Learning model with ethnomathematical nuances based on local wisdom, while the control class was taught using conventional learning. The sample in this study were 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The results of this study are the effectiveness of learning using the PjBL model with an ethnomathematical nuance based on local culture in improving the critical thinking skills of eighth grade students. Value of Sig. in the experimental class, the results of 0.05 it means that H0 is rejected, in other words that the average posttest result of students' critical thinking skills classically has reached the minimum criteria completeness so that it can be said to be effective. The mean of the experimental class showed a result of 82.50, while the control class showed a result of 71.09. This shows that the average critical thinking ability of students in the experimental class is higher than the average critical thinking ability of students in the control class. The conclusion of this research is that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model Based on Local Culture is effective in improving the critical thinking skills of eighth grade students.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor kurang maksimalnya proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi menulis laporan adalah pembelajaran yang masih dilakukan dengan metode eskpositori. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis laporan yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek.  Karakteristik model pembelajaran berbasis proyek menggunakan sintak yang runtut dan terstruktur. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis kefektifan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap motivasi belajar dan kemampuan menulis laporan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Sukorejo Kabupaten Kendal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Experimental Design bentuk two group posttest-only design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV Gugus Pangeran Antasari Kecamatan Sukorejo sedangkan sampel yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Siswa kelas IV B SDN 2 Sukorejo, sedangkan siswa kelas IV A SDN 2 Sukorejo sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket, observasi, dan tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji one sample t-test  dan Independent samples t-test menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Pengujian menggunakan one sample t-test diperoleh   (12,880 2,059) sehingga dapat disimpulkan rata-rata kemampuan menulis laporan siswa kelas IV pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek di atas KKM. Pengujian  menggunakan independent samples t-test untuk variabel motivasi belajar diperoleh   ((2,293 2,059) sehingga dapat disimpulkan motivasi belajar siswa yang diajar dengan PjBL lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa kelas ekspositori. Pengujian menggunakan independent samples t-test variabel kemampuan menulis laporan diperoleh   (2,878 2,059) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis laporan siswa yang diajar dengan PjBL lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa kelas ekspositori. Jadi, model pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif terhadap  motivasi belajar dan kemampuan menulis laporan siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Sukorejo Kabupaten Kendal.This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the project-based learning model on learning motivation and the ability to write Indonesian language learning reports for fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Sukorejo, Kendal Regency. It was an experimental study with a quasi-experimental design, taking a two-group post-test-only design. The population was fourth-grade students of the Prince Antasari Group, Sukorejo Sub-district. They were randomly selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Students in Class IV B were in the experimental group, while those in Class IV A became the control group. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observations, and tests. Compiled data were analyzed using a one-sample t-test and independent samples t-test using SPSS v23.One sample t-test resulted in tcount ttable (12,880 2,059). This means that fourth-grade students' average report writing ability using the project-based learning model is above the Minimum Completeness Criteria (MMC). Meanwhile, the independent samples t-test for learning motivation variable obtained tcount ttable ((2,293 2,059). It can be concluded that students' learning motivation taught using project-based learning is higher than those in the expository class. In addition, the independent sample t-test for report writing ability variable resulted in tcount ttable (2.878 2.059). This means that students' report writing ability using project-based learning is higher than the ability possessed by those in the expository class. Based on the results, the project-based learning model effectively improves learning motivation and report writing abilities of fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Sukorejo, Kendal Regency.

Abstract

Research purposes for describing student ability communication. Research population is purposive grade VIII Anshor Al Sunnah boarding school in academic year 2020/2021. Research sample is student grade VIII A at boarding school Anshor Al Sunnah. Research aminstrument is mathematics communication ability. The data analysis in descriptive. Research findings total is 37.5 percent student able to use terminology, mathematics notation in view of relationship within model and situation even organize a question story. Then, total 62.5 percent student able to express mathematic ideas in oral and written and demonstrating for viewing at visual total 40 percent and 22.5 percent student able to understand, interpretation and good evaluation mathematic idea within oral and written, even though in visual, percentage ability mathematic communication is 40.6 percent with Low category.

Abstract

Students need the ability to solve word problems can connect mathematics with the context of everyday life. However, students experience many difficulties and need assistance in the form of scaffolding can to solve word problems well. Dynamic assessment is an alternative approach to constructing the form of scaffolding that student need to solve mathematical word problems. This study aimed to analyze the students' difficulties in solving word problems and the required form of scaffolding through dynamic assessment. The subjects of this study consisted of 177 students spread across 10 public junior high schools in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. There was a four-word problem tested and analyzed using dynamic assessment. Student solutions were grouped based on the type and form of scaffolding needed: level 5 (no solution), level 4 (without analysis/unrepresentative), level 3 (computational error), level 2 (incomplete procedure), level 1 (lack of thoroughness in the final stage). The form of scaffolding is constructed to help students solve mathematical word problems step by step at each level. The use of scaffolding accompanied by instructions helps students develop word problem-solving skills. Dynamic assessment can be considered to be integrated with the mathematics learning process that supports scaffolding construction to solve students' word problems.

Abstract

Mathematics is a symbol of rationality and the highest intellectual achievements of human civilization. Mathematics has always been seen as abstract and formal knowledge. However, in the last few decades, the idea has emerged that mathematics is a knowledge that develops in human cultural activities. The concept of mathematics in culture is widely known as ethnomathematics. This paper aims to briefly describe the history, criticism, and challenges of ethnomathematics, the thoughts of ethnomathematics experts, and their influence in learning mathematics today. The development of ethnomathematics gave rise to a field of study covering aspects of anthropology and the history of mathematics, non-formal mathematics practice, traditional mathematics, and multicultural learning. Various research results indicate that ethnomathematics contributes to improving school mathematics. Although culture has an important role in learning mathematics, to integrate it requires comprehensive efforts to overcome various obstacles. Teachers need to improve competencies related to understanding local culture to maximize the transformation of ethnomathematics learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Every production process of material for producing something with machinery aid that is operated by human being, will produce the product and residue. Residue from production proces is called waste. Large and medium industrial development have effect to water qualitiy. The purpose of this research is to study the impact of the large and medium manufacturing industry in Kaligarang Hulu Area on water quality of PDAM input of Kota Semarang. The research variable sare ( 1) type of large and medium manufactory,(2) the water quality of Kaligarang, and industry waste. For reaching that aim, we carried out test to water quality of Kaligarang and waste outlet of industry, in terms of pH, BOD, COD,TSS, Zn 2+, and Pb2+. Act of ditermination of the large and medium industry existing of sampling with purpose sampling technique, where as sample with composite sampling methode. The amount of sample is 5, that is (1) Genuk, Ungaran, (2) Karangtengah, Bandarjo, (3) Tinjomoyo, (4) Jembatan Besi Kradenan and (5) PDAM. Analysis by descriptive comparative. Based on laboratorium test, pH concentration is 7,59 - 7,73. TSS between 35,1 - 184,ppm, BOD and COD each of them are 1,9 - 5,3 ppm and 3,27 - 8,99 ppm, where as concentration of Zn 2+ and Pb2+ is ppm. They are under standarization of Governor establishment. There were 4 factors, that are (1) a part of waste gut.ter is turned out. to river in Pedalangan, (2) relative small waste debite, (3) the waste gutter was turbulance, and (4) the research was carried out in raining season. The recomendation are: (I) iffluent and stream standard monitoring in terms of pH, BOD, COD, TSS, Zn, 2Pb2 continously; (2) mapping of household industry a long Kaligarang river.
