Abstract

Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk menentukan penggunaan penambahan katalis berbentuk keramik pada saluran pembuangan kendaraan bermotor Satria F 150. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sepeda motor F 150 satria. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah gas CO2, CO, HC. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dinas lingkungan hidup Banjarmasin dengan menggunakan alat analisis gas dan juga dilakukan di bengkel plug and play Banjarmasin menggunakan dinamometer. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah variasi dalam rpm, campuran dan variasi dalam lubang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah peningkatan terbesar dalam emisi CO2 dengan peningkatan maksimum 48,72% dalam komposisi A pada putaran idle. Sementara kandungan senyawa CO mengalami penurunan terbesar maksimum 40,06% ditemukan dalam komposisi C pada 5.000 rpm. Senyawa HC juga mengalami pengurangan maksimum terbesar 85,54% dalam komposisi B pada 5.000 rpm. Menggunakan catalytic converter dengan variasi 15 hole menghasilkan daya 11,42 HP dan torsi maksimum 10,00 Nm dan untuk catalytic converter dengan variasi 19 hole menghasilkan daya 11,44 HP, dan torsi maksimum 10,12 Nm. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of ceramic-shaped catalyst additions to the exhaust channel of the Satria F 150 motorized vehicle. This study used the experimental method. The population in this study was F 150 satria motorbikes. The data in this research were CO2 gas, CO, HC. This research was carried out in the banjarmasin environmental service using a gas analyzer and was also carried out in the Banjarmasin Banjarmasin plug and play workshop using a dynamometer. The technique used in data collection was variations in rpm, mixtures and variations in holes. The results of this study are the greatest increase in CO2 emissions with a maximum increase of 48.72% in composition A at idle rpm. While the content of CO compounds experienced the largest decrease of a maximum of 40.06% found in composition C at 5000 rpm. HC compounds also experienced the largest maximum reduction of 85.54% in composition B at 5000 rpm. Using a catalytic converter with 15 hole variations produces a power of 11.42 HP and a maximum torque of 10.00 Nm and for catalytic converters with 19 hole variations producing power of 11.44 HP, and a maximum torque of 10.12 Nm.

Abstract

Vehicle is the most needed tool as a transportation medium. This is due to the human need for vehicles is very important for the community. This study aims to determine the effect of valve clearance on performance and exhaust emissions on yamaha jupiter Z1 engine. In this study the researchers used variations of valve clearance intake and exhaust 0.06 mm up to 0.15 mm with dynotest experimental methods for performance testing and using experimental methods with gas analyzer parameters for exhaust gas emissions testing. From the results of performance tests that have been done got the best power and torque that supports engine performance. The 0.15 mm intake valve clearance variation obtained the best power yield with 93.11% achievement and the power value of 9,180 Hp at 8852 rpm, while for the best torque found on the 0.12 mm intake valve clearance variation obtained with achievement of 92.98% and the torque value is 9,205 Nm at 6136 rpm engine speed. From the exhaust gas emission test results, the valve gap size is sufficient to affect the results of exhaust emissions in a vehicle. Variations of valve clearance that obtained the results are ideal and safe for the environment that is 0.12 mm estrangement on the variation of exhaust and estrangement 0.15 mm on the variation of intake that has low emission levels. In the 0.12 mm exhaust variation, emission levels are CO 2.54%, CO2 8.81%, HC 74 ppm, O2 7.10% whereas in the intake variation 0.15 mm, emission levels are CO 4.92%, CO2 5,92%, HC 19 ppm, O2 8,88%. Keywords: Valve Clearance, Performance, Gas Emissions

Abstract

Di Bali, kebutuhan listrik berdasarkan data PLN 446.172 MW. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan beban ini, PLN Bali mengandalkan empat pembangkit listrik berbeda di Pesanggaran, Gilimanuk, Pemaron, dan Pontianak. Sebagian besar pembangkit listrik di Bali menggunakan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas. Pada pembangkit gas generasi Bali terjadi kerusakan pada bagian turbin. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kerusakan tersebut, dilakukan penelitian. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa hubungan antara efisiensi dan kinerja suatu turbin gas adalah jika performansi naik maka efisiensi akan meningkat. Temperatur masuk turbin dan temperatur keluar turbin akan mempengaruhi kinerja turbin.In Bali, electricity demand is based on PLN data of 446,172 MW. To meet this load requirement PLN Bali relies on four different power plants in Pesanggaran, Gilimanuk, Pemaron, and Pontianak. Most electricity generation in Bali uses Gas Power Plants. In the gas generation of the Bali generation there is damage in the turbine section. To find out the effect of this damage, a study was conducted. From this study it is known that the relationship between efficiency and the performance of a gas turbine is that if the performance rises, efficiency will increase. Abstract

Power plan has an important role in the electricity supply bussiness, one of them is PLTU Asam Asam which is Unit Pelaksana Pembangkitan Asam Asam. By using fuel coal fired type, this work continously to generate maximum power in generating electricity. In terms working to have maximum power continuously in boiler, Boiler have equipment Primary Air Heater (PAH) to repairing the efficiency. To get best performance Primary Air Fan (PAH) is doing routine maintenance.The Effect is routine maintenance for repairing, abrasive and corrosive material Primary Air Fan (PAH) to be air leakage. This final project aims to know performance before and after repairing compare commissioning perform. In this final project compiling, the using methods are literature study, observation, data processing, data analyzing, and conclusion. Literature study is searching of source for reference, then the observation is done by collecting data based on the parameters required. These data are analyzed to derive conclusions from the object being observed.The result of final project research shows that different escalation occurred after repairing. This can proven by calculation and analysis of data which obtained before repairing the efficiency 68,5% and work 68,6%, and Air leakage reduce 83,18%% and work 70,55%. Keywords: Efficiency, Performance, Boiler, Heat Loss Method

Abstract

Pemanas udara adalah salah satu peralatan tambahan yang sangat penting dalam penggunaan perpindahan panas dalam boiler, di mana peralatan ini berfungsi untuk memanaskan udara untuk pembakaran dengan menggunakan panas dari sisa gas panas dari pembakaran sebelum dikirim ke cerobong asap. Untuk menjaga kinerja pemanas udara, maka analisis efektivitas perpindahan panas pada pemanas udara dilakukan dengan uji kinerja menggunakan metode ASME PTC 4.0 dan ASME PTC 4.3. Pada data commissioning, SAH unit 1 memiliki efisiensi sebesar 58,69%. Namun, dari hasil analisis penelitian perpindahan panas di Secondary Air Heater unit 1 pada 2 Maret 2018, efisiensi dihitung sebesar 38,96%, terjadi penurunan sebesar 19,73%, hal ini disebabkan oleh slagging on permukaan elemen dalam SAH dan kebocoran pada pipa SAH. selanjutnya, perbaikan dilakukan dengan melakukan jelaga dan melakukan pengelasan pada pipa bocor menggunakan teknik pengelasan TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas). Setelah itu analisis dilakukan dengan tes kinerja yang diadakan pada 21 Maret 2018 dan mendapat peningkatan 11,34% menjadi 50,3%. Air heaters are one of the auxiliary equipment that are very important in the use of heat transfer in a boiler, where this equipment serves to heat the air for the combustion by using heat from the residual hot gas from the combustion before sending it to the chimney. To maintain the performance of air heater, then the analysis of the effectiveness of heat transfer on air heater is carried out with a performance test using the ASME PTC 4.0 and ASME PTC 4.3 methods. On commissioning data, SAH unit 1 has an efficiency in amount of 58.69%. However, from the result of a research analysis of heat transfer in Secondary Air Heater unit 1 on March 2 2018, the efficiency was counted in amount of 38.96%, there has been a decrease of 19,73%, this was caused by slagging on the surface of the element in SAH and leakage on SAH pipes. subsequently, repairs are carried out by doing soot blowing and perform welding on the leaking pipe using the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding technique. Afterwards the analysis is carried out with a performance test was held on March 21, 2018 and got an increase of 11.34% to 50.3%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di kantor lingkungan Banjarmasin dengan menggunakan alat analisa gas dan juga dilakukan di bengkel plug and play Banjarmasin dengan menggunakan dinamometer. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah variasi dalam rpm, campuran dan dimensi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: catalytic converter dengan variasi dimensi 2 cm dan 3 cm, tingkat pengurangan emisi CO2 maksimum adalah 21,91% dalam komposisi C rpm 5000, tingkat pengurangan emisi CO adalah 61,71 % dalam komposisi C rpm 5000, dan tingkat pengurangan emisi HC adalah 83,14% dalam komposisi C rpm 5000. Dengan menggunakan catalytic converter dengan variasi dimensi 2 cm menghasilkan tenaga 11,44 hp dan torsi 10,12 Nm dan untuk konverter katalitik dengan Dimensi 3 cm menghasilkan daya 11,30 hp dan torsi 10,01 Nm. The purposeTof this study was to determine the use of ceramic-shaped catalyst additions to the exhaust channel of the Satria F 150 motorized vehicle.
