Abstract

Kecelakaan kerja dapat menimbulkan berbagai macam kerugian. Di samping dapat mengakibatkan korban jiwa, juga dapat menyebabkan kerugian waktu kerja (pemberhentian sementara), penurunan produktivitas, pengaruh psikologis yang negative pada pekerja, memburuknya reputasi perusahaan, denda dari pemerintah, serta kemungkinan berkurangnya kesempatan usaha atau kehilangan pelanggan pengguna jasa. Dari data riwayat kecelakaan kerja di PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya pada tahun 2010 terjadi 7 kasus kecelakaan kerja, tahun 2011 terjadi 15 kasus kecelakaan kerja, tahun 2012 terjadi 9 kasus kecelakaan kerja, tahun 2013 terjadi 4 kasus kecelakaan kerja, tahun 2014 terjadi 2 kasuskecelakaan kerja, tahun 2015 terjadi 5 kasus kecelakaan dan tahun 2016 terjadi 3 kasus kecelakaan kerja. Tujuannya mengetahui penerapan OHSAS 18001 di PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero).Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proporsional random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 73 orang tenaga kerja dari bagian produksi. Jenis pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dalam bentuk tabel.Hasil penilaian didapatkan nilai sebesar 93% untuk komponen kebijakan K3, 95% untuk komponen perencanaan K3, 90% untuk komponen penerapan K3, 93% untuk komponen evaluasi K3, dan 97% untuk komponen tindakan perbaikan. Seluruh penilaian yang didapatkan dikategorikan dalam kriteria baik, sehingga jumlah angka kecelakaan kerja di PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero) menurun.Disarankan perusahaan harus melaksanakan komitmen  pengawasan sehingga SMK3 di PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero) dapat berjalan dengan baik dan dapat mengurangi angka kecelakaan kerja. Kata Kunci : OHSAS 18001, Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja

Abstract

Gempolkerep Village Gedeg Subdistrict Mojokerto District is a residential area that has a distance of ± 100m from Bioethanol Industry PT.Energi Agro Nusantara which is a producer of Ethanol and Biogas, thus the production process produces content of pollutant sources in ambient air one of them is hydrogen sulfide gas. The purpose of this study is to analyze the risk of exposure of H2S gas to communities living around the bioethanol plant i.e Gempolkerep Village, Gedeg Subdistrict, Mojokerto District. This research is a descriptive research using the design of Environmental Health Risk Analysis (ARKL) which was used to predict the size of the risks received by people living in Gempolkerep Village RT.8, RT.9, RT.12 and RT.13 with the sample used was a society with a range of age 20-25 years. Steps on ARKL were used to identify exposure patterns, community anthropometry and minimum H2S concentrations of H2S gas concentrations, on average, to the maximum, so as to determine risk characterization. The risk level was said to be safe when RQ ≤ 1, and the risk level was said to be unsafe when RQ 1.The results showed that from 4 point location overall average concentration of H2S gas 1,95 mg / m3, highest concentration 8,8 mg / m3, lowest concentration 0,4 mg / m3. The physical environment of the air obtained average air temperature was 30.6oC, the average air humidity was 55.1%, and the average wind speed was 1.0 m / s and the wind direction when the measurement blew from the West and South. Agents at risk of causing health problems to people in nearby areas close to the industry were H2S gas levels in the ambient air. The dose of H2S gas response was 0.000571 mg / m3. The entire community as respondents at the research location had a value of RQ 1. It can be concluded that all respondents who live around the bioethanol plant are said to be unsafe and at risk of health problems. Abstract

ABSTRACT PT Petrokimia Gresik is the Complete Fertilizer Manufacturer in Indonesia which produces various kinds of fertilizers and chemicals for agro-industrial solutions. Ammonia (NH3) is one of the results of chemical production at PT Petrokimia Gresik which poses a risk to the health of ammonia factory workers at PT Petrokimia Gresik. The purpose of this study is to analyze the risk of exposure to ammonia (NH3) gas in ammonia I factory workers of PT Petrokimia Gresik.This study is a descriptive survey using Environmental Health Risk Analysis approach. The data analysis method used was risk analysis to determine the risk characterization of PT Petrokimia Gresik ammonia (NH3) I workers. The level of risk is said to be safe if RQ ≤ 1, and the level of risk is said to be unsafe if RQ 1.The results showed that the average concentration of ammonia (NH3) gas was 6.6 mg / m3, the highest concentration was 9.2 mg / m3, the lowest concentration was 4.3 mg / m3. The physical air environment obtained at an average air temperature of 36oC, the average air humidity was 43%, the average wind speed was 0.85 m / s and the wind direction when the measurements blew from the West and East. Agents at risk of causing health problems to workers at ammonia I factory of PT Petrokimia Gresik were ammonia (NH3) gas in the work environment air sourced from the ammonia (NH3) gas production process, and 57% of the ammonia I factory workers of PT Petrokimia Gresik had a history of respiratory disorder. The response dose of ammonia (NH3) gas was 5x10-1 mg / m3. All ammonia I factory workers at PT Petrokimia Gresik obtained a minimum concentration, average concentration and maximum concentration of RQ 1.From the results of the study it can be concluded that the level of risk of exposure to ammonia (NH3) gas in ammonia I factory workers of PT Petrokimia Gresik is safe and not at risk of developing respiratory tract disorders, because the concentration is minimal, average concentration and maximum concentration does not exceed risk (RQ). It is recommended that the ammonia I plant manager of PT Petrokimia Gresik keep monitoring and evaluating the air pollution control and prevention system regularly. Key words: Risk Analysis, Ammonia Gas (NH3), Workers

Abstract

Melati is one type of hotel frequented by a lot of consumers since they are affordable by communitiesespecially the middle class, local or international. In their operational activities hotels that provide facilitiesshould be supervised regularly. Impairments with regard to health standard may support transmission ofdiseasesamong guests and to and from hotel employees.The study took place at the Hotel Melati Singaraja Indah and Griyo Mulyo within the operationall areaof PuskesmasPenelehSurabaya. This descriptive research aimed to describe objectively the sanitary conditionof such an establishment such as the exterior and interior environment in a hotel building; sanitary facilities,and facilities for hotel employees. Researchwas carried out upon the lodging component of the hotel, usingpredetermined criteria in an appraisal scoring system. Data were gathered by means of observation,interviews, measurement of several quality parameter of the physical environment and assessment ofsecondary data records.The results showed that sanitary condition of Hotel Melati Singaraja Indah and Griyo Mulyo Surabayawere satisfactory, having a total score of 1099 ( 86 % ).Reviewing all variables assessment of lodging sanitation there are several health requirements whichhave not been satisfied, such as : hotel surroundings, there was no efforts in preventing infestation of insectsand pests due to open garbage containers located in outer courtyard, resting quarters for employees arecomfortable and but there was no separation between male and female employee,there is a need foradditional shower and toilet facilities for employees. Linens should be stored in closed cabinets andwarehouses should be kept neat and clean.Among the suggestions are the provisions of covers for existing garbage containerslocated outside inthe hotel courtyard to prevent rodents and cockroaches harborage; provision of closed cabinet for storinglinens, improvement of cleanliness and managing the goods warehouses, provision of comfortable and saferesting quarters for employees.Classification: The state of sanitation, sanitary facilities, hotel melati

Abstract

Desa Sepande Kecamatan Candi Kabupaten Sidoarjo memiliki jumlah industri tahu sebanyak 4 (empat) industri dengan total 25 pekerja. Gas amonia (NH3) dari dekomposisi limbah cair tahu berisiko pada kesehatan pekerja pabrik tahu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis risiko pajanan gas amonia (NH3) pada pekerja pabrik tahu di Desa Sepande Kecamatan Candi Kabupaten Sidoarjo.Penelitian ini adalah survei deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Risiko Kesehatan Lingkungan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis risiko untuk menentukan karakterisasi risiko pekerja pabrik tahu. Tingkat risiko dikatakan aman bila RQ ≤ 1, dan tingkat risiko dikatakan tidak aman bila RQ 1.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata konsentrasi gas amonia (NH3) 44,5 mg/m3, konsentrasi tertinggi 90,4 mg/m3,konsentrasi terendah 11,2 mg/m3. Lingkungan fisik udara didapatkan rata-rata suhu udara 31oC, rata-rata kelembaban udara 59,5%, rata-rata kecepatan angin 1,18 m/s dan arah angin saat pengukuran berhembus dari arah Barat dan Timur. Agen yang berisiko menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan pada pekerja pabrik tahu adalah gas amonia (NH3) di udara ambien yang bersumber dari limbah cair tahu yang terurai oleh mikroorganisme, serta didapatkan sebanyak 56% pekerja pabrik tahu memiliki riwayat gangguan saluran pernafasan. Dosis respon gas amonia (NH3) adalah 5x10-1 mg/m3. Seluruh pekerja pabrik tahu didapatkan nilai RQ 1.Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat risiko pajanan gas amonia (NH3) pada pekerja pabrik tahu adalah tidak aman dan berisiko mengalami gangguan saluran pernafasan. Untuk mengurangi risiko tersebut, disarankan kepada pengelola pabrik tahu menerapkan pembagian jam kerja dan membuat saluran pembuangan air limbah yang tertutup.Kata kunci :  Analisis Risiko, Gas Amonia (NH3), Pekerja

Abstract

Surabaya ranked the first position for the incident of Pulmonary TB in East Java. In Wonokusumo health center, the number of patients with pulmonary TB increased from 2014 to 2015 by 57% and treatment success rate in 2015 reached 96%. This study aims to determine the relationship of behavior with home sanitation to prevent pulmonary tb infection in the house. This is a Case Control study with study population was family member of patients with pulmonary TB. The sample size was 49 cases and 49 controls. The sampling technique used multistage sampling method. Technique of collecting data used questionnaires and home observation sheets. Data was analyzed by SPSS Chis-Square test. This study shows that ρ (0,000) α (0.05), which means there was relationship between behavior with home sanitation condition to prevent pulmonary TB transmission at home. The conclusion of this study is that family members had poor level of knowledge, attitudes, and sanitation condition. 61.2% did not meet the standard and there was relationship of behavior and home sanitation. the society should add information about pulmonary TB condition and home  sanitary as well as conducting routine mass cleaning program. Wonokusumo health center needs to provide counseling and formation of cadres that serves to provide information and motivation to pulmonary TB patients. Abstract

Ekowisata atau Wisata Alam adalah kegiatan pariwisata yang bertanggung jawab atas kawasan / kawasan yang masih alami yang dikelola sesuai kaidah alam, dengan tujuan menikmati keindahan alam yang melibatkan unsur edukasi, pemahaman dan dukungan bagi upaya pelestarian alam serta peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan. Komunitas lokal. Pengembangan ekowisata / desa wisata berkelanjutan berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan upaya memasukkan peran masyarakat dalam kegiatan desa / kelurahan wisata yang dikenal dengan istilah “Community Based Development”. Tujuan dari program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan kesehatan lingkungan dan wawasan dalam bidang kesehatan lingkungan serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat khususnya masyarakat Desa Wonorejo Kecamatan Rungkut Kota Surabaya.Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan dalam Ekowisata Mangrove yaitu pelestarian lingkungan berupa reboisasi / penghijauan dengan penanaman pohon dan mangrove. Penanaman 3000 avicennia marinaa tanaman mangrove di laut, pemberian bibit tanaman dan penanaman 3000 avicennia marinaa tanaman mangrove melibatkan Dinas Perkebunan dan Pertamanan. Pada tanggal 26 dan 27 Oktober 2016 telah ditanam 300 tanaman mangrove avicennia marinaa, dan setelah dilakukan evaluasi hingga 10 November 2016 telah ditanam 3000 tanaman mangrove avicennia marinaa. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan kepada peneliti lain adalah melakukan uji konsentrasi Pb, lahan dan berbagai jenis tumbuhan guna mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi untuk menentukan fitoremediasi menggunakan tumbuhan. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan adalah perlunya evaluasi secara berkala terhadap fungsi mangrove jenis avicennia marinaa yang telah ditanam di Ekowisata Mangrove.

Abstract

Ozone gas can be produced by a generator with mengkontakkan molecular oxygen and atomic oxygen on wave ultra violet rays. In particular the rate of ozone gas can serve as a disinfectant microorganisms in the water. The purpose of this study was to produce ozone generators as sterilisator microorganisms in the water. The study was helpful in developing techniques to process drinking water sterilisator ozonisasi through appropriate technology options for more effective and efficient . This study is  Jurnal Penelitian Kesehatan 48  a research experiment by type, where researchers are planning an ozone generator and make the treatment of the sample group, namely an input air and oxygen with different capacities for gas ozone as a disinfectant microorganisms in the water. Ozone generators are designed in the material stenless steel with a 3 inch diameter, length 2 x 100 cm with a source of electrical energy and use 40 watts of ultraviolet light 2,242 nm wavelength, the ultraviolet source inputs independent air containing oxygen and pure oxygen in order to produce ozone gas that can be used as drinking water sterilisator. In this research produced ozone levels of 0.5 ppm of ozone generator with pure oxygen mengkontakkan within 1.18 minutes (71 seconds). Ozone gas at the rate of 0.5 ppm can be sterilisator debit drinking water with large 1.2 liter/minute  Keywords: ozone generator, ozone gas, oxygen, sterilizer.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is still a public health problem that is becoming a global challenge. Indddonesia is the first country among the countries with a high TB burden in the Southeast Asia region which managed tohit the target for Global TB on 2006. The strategy of the Direct Observed Treatment Shotcourse (DOTS) have managed to achieve two goals that helped were declared the World Health Assembly (WHA) on 1991, that the detection of new cases of BTA positive 70 %, and the healing of 85 % of the cases in 2000. An important aspect in Pulmonary TB is a countermeasure to support monitoring and evaluation that are appropriate and correct. This study aims to evaluate the achievement of program control with TB DOTS strategy in direct region of East Java Province on 2009 – 2013.This research is deskriptip to describe and evaluate the program for tackling pulmonary tuberculosis with DOTS strategy in East Java Province. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire to the program manager (Wasor) and data from reports of TB program execution for five years (2009 – 2013) which are then processed in diskriptif.The process of implementation of the programme of TB in East Java Propince all kabupaten/kota have been referred to the National TB guidelines, but figures close to indicators for each district region haven’t all reached in accordance with the targets that have been set. Among other networkong suspek 86,8 % number of district region have yet to reach the target, the discovery of a case of 63,2 % district region heve yet to reach the target.In order to improve TB Program indicator close to the recommended extension for empowereng community perpetrated, TB program manager commitment required corresponding mapping TB cases at least up yo the village level, the strengthening of the system and the participation of allmprofessionals/health service by means of : private sector obligations (doctor, hospital, clinic) to examine, diagnose and treat patients with TB standars procedure DOTS. Abstract

Vector control is part of efforts to control vector-borne diseases directly or indirectly which aims to reduce the presence of vectors by implementing preventive measures so that disease transmission does not occur. The vector-borne and zoonotic disease control programs carried out include reduction, elimination, and eradication. The number of vectors at the Royal Surabaya Hospital in 2018 contained 52.5% mosquito vectors, 27.5% cockroach vectors, 57.5% ants, and 30% rats. Density increased in 2019, namely mosquito vectors as much as 87.9%, cockroach vectors 30.3%, ants 57.6%, and mice 60.6%. However, it did not experience a significant decrease in 2020 with the number of mosquito vectors as much as 84.6%, cockroach vectors 15.4%, ants 46.2%, and rats 38.5%. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the vector control program using the CIPP method (Context, Input, Process and Product).This research is a descriptive study with an exploratory approach. The sample in this study were 32 heads of the room. Data collection was obtained by conducting interviews using questionnaires and observations at the Royal Surabaya Hospital. The data that has been collected is analyzed descriptively.The result of this research is that the CIPP method can be used to evaluate vector and pest control programs. Context, input, and process evaluations got good categories, while in product evaluation there were still cockroaches, flies, mice, and cats.From this research, it is recommended to close all access to vectors and nuisance animals, to maintain cleanliness, especially in waste management and sewerage, to coordinate with the head of the room, partners and all employees to participate in reducing the presence of vectors.
