Abstract

Toko Furniture ZADA is a business that heavily relies on the smooth process of purchasing goods from suppliers to maintain stock availability and ensure the operational efficiency of the store. However, the manual purchasing record system has led to several issues, such as the risk of data loss, delayed entries, and errors in report preparation. These issues hinder operational effectiveness and could lead to financial losses. Therefore, this research aims to design a prototype of a purchasing information system that meets the operational needs of Toko Furniture ZADA in a more efficient, accurate, and timely manner. The design of this information system is carried out using a prototyping approach, utilizing Figma as a design tool, which allows for the creation of an interactive system interface that can be directly tested by users. The designed system includes several key features that are essential for the smooth operation of the store. These features include user login for data security, stock management that automatically records incoming and outgoing items, purchasing transaction records that facilitate control and transparency in each purchase transaction, and a reporting system that provides real-time information on stock status and purchase transaction reports with higher accuracy. The results of this study show that the designed information system prototype provides an efficient, accurate, and user-friendly digital solution to replace the existing manual process. The implementation of this system is expected to reduce the risk of data loss, avoid delays in recording, and improve the accuracy of report preparation. Additionally, the system can accelerate the purchasing process and stock management, which in turn will enhance the overall operational effectiveness and efficiency of Toko Furniture ZADA.

Abstract

This research examines changes in Prabowo Subianto's political image and a campaign approach that is more attractive to the younger generation, especially millennials and Gen Z, in the context of the 2024 election in Indonesia. With a focus on the use of social media and innovative communication strategies, this research explores how candidate pair Prabowo and Gibran Rakabuming Raka use 'gemoy' imagery and creative gimmicks to create a unique impression and increase their popularity among young voters. Prabowo and Gibran's communication strategies are explained using PESTEL analysis, AIDA, communication strategy decisions, and the 6C Model. Research findings show that this approach is effective in attracting the attention, increasing popularity, and participation of young voters, who are an important segment in elections. Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a dynamic global network infrastructure with standard configuration capabilities and interoperable communication protocols where physical and virtual "things" have identities, physical attributes and virtual personalities and use smart interfaces, and are integrated into the network. Water is a source of life for humans and nutrients needed by humans. One of the essential daily needs of living things in this world that cannot be separated is water. The problem or obstacle that exists with the use of artesian water is that when the meter calculation (usage standard) is still using human labor, in other words there is a mobile officer at the end of every month, while in the middle of the month the officer returns to provide a payment account receipt. Not yet, if the officer has difficulty checking, they have to be behind the customer's house if the meter (standard of use) is located behind the house, and the place is not strategic. Then sometimes the recording is not accurate because it is not in accordance with the usage of the existing customer being metered. This gives the effect of a longer process, less accurate results, and makes the job more difficult and customers also feel worried that if the staff is not careful about recording water usage, the authors are inspired to design and make a tool to make it easier to record water usage with modern technology. namely the Artetis Water Billing Information System using Water Flow and IoT-based Sim900A in the Purwoyoso village area of Semarang where people can maintain and manage water more effectively and efficiently for human survival.

Abstract

This study analyzes inventory control of raw materials at the Al-Batsit Bakery Home Industry in Bengkulu City using the Min-Max method. The main problem observed was the absence of a systematic inventory control system, leading to both stockout and overstock conditions. This research aims to determine the minimum and maximum inventory levels, analyse the application of the Min-Max Stock method in minimizing storage and ordering costs, and improve the efficiency of raw material inventory control. Primary data were collected through direct observation and interviews with the business owner and production staff. The analysis used the Min-Max method to calculate safety stock, minimum stock, maximum stock, reorder point (ROP), order quantity, ordering frequency, and total inventory cost (TIC). The results show that the Min-Max method produces a total inventory cost of Rp. 6,464,295 per year, compared to Rp. 6,875,550 per year under the current policy, yielding a cost efficiency of (Rp. 411,255 per year). The greatest efficiency was achieved for granulated sugar (12.12%), followed by eggs (5.60%), wheat flour (1.59%), and margarine (0.88%). Implementation of the Min-Max method enables the bakery to establish structured inventory boundaries, prevent stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and optimize ordering frequency without disrupting the production process.

Abstract

The role of Accounting Information Systems in a company is to provide accurate and appropriate information to support company management in processing decision making to control and supervise the company's operational activities. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing and understanding the purchasing cycle running at PT. Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk, and assessing whether there are weaknesses in the system. After the analysis is carried out, if weaknesses are found, a solution will be made in the form of a manual system design proposal. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that there are problems, problems that exist in the purchasing cycle of PT. Sri Rejeki Isman are the accumulation of debt to suppliers, weak internal controls in the purchasing process. Poor financial management can affect the company resulting in the company being unable to purchase materials ideally, resulting in a negative impact, namely a decrease in operational performance and production disruptions. This study shows that weaknesses in the purchasing cycle contribute to the company's operational instability and worsen conditions leading to bankruptcy. These weaknesses need to be improved by carrying out the effectiveness of the purchasing cycle and internal controls in maintaining the company's sustainability.

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) saat ini berkembang begitu pesat dan menjangkau berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Di Indonesia, pemanfaatan TIK meningkat tajam, namun pada kenyataannya banyak siswa yang belum memanfaatkan penggunaan gawai pintar dan internet secara maksimal. Kebanyakan hanya digunakan siswa untuk bermain game online dan menonton berbagai video melalui youtube dan tiktok. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kreatifitas guru untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan game edukasi dan video/animasi pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan mampu menggantikan game online yang selama ini banyak digunakan oleh siswa. Adapun uraian kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan oleh tim PKM yaitu: (1) Melakukan sosialisasi kegiatan bersama mitra; (2) Melaksanakan penyuluhan terkait bahaya kecanduan game online kepada siswa; (3) melaksanakan pelatihan penggunaan game edukasi dan animasi pembelajaran (4) melaksanakan pendampingan penerapan teknologi berupa game edukasi dan animasi pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan game edukasi dan animasi pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar. Hal ini sejalan dengan pemahaman siswa terhadap bahaya kecanduan game online. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu memberi solusi kepada guru untuk lebih inovatif dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the generation of food waste in the operations of the Food & Beverage Department at Hotel Neo Malioboro, Yogyakarta, and to formulate a conceptual model for its management based on the food waste hierarchy and the 3R strategy. This study employs a qualitative approach using a single-case study design, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation, which were analysed using thematic coding techniques through the stages of open, axial and selective coding. The results of the study indicate that food waste is generated systematically as a result of a lack of synchronisation between operational processes within the Food & Beverage Department, influenced by forecasting errors, overproduction, the buffet system, and weak integration of the waste management system. Furthermore, the implementation of the food waste hierarchy and the 3R strategy was found to remain largely normative and not yet integrated into the hotel’s operational system, resulting in waste management that tends to be reactive. This study has produced a conceptual model explaining that food waste is generated through a systemic process that begins with sustainable hospitality, followed by system misalignment, ultimately resulting in food waste formation, which is reinforced by a multi-level causal structure and hierarchical implementation gaps. The main contribution of this study is the development of a theoretical extension in the form of an integrated operational system model for food waste management in the hospitality industry. These findings have important implications for strengthening data-driven operational management systems to support sustainable practices in the Food & Beverage sector.

Abstract

Facility plays an important role of the real world, the facility is no longer a secondary requirement but becomes a primary need. Provision of facilities from any company requires a competitive location, so that the facilities provided can be useful for others. Dynamic Programming was once used to determine the best opening schedule of Subset as an "optimal" location and relocation strategy for planning. So in this research done determination of location of facility and its relocation with dynamic programming so hopefully can use optimal budget with optimal time.Keywords: Facility Location, Dynamic Programming

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of accounting students’ perceptions on the prevention of violations of the accountant code of ethics and to examine the role of professional ethics education as a moderating variable. A quantitative survey approach was employed. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to accounting students at Teuku Umar University through both online and direct distribution. A total of 126 student responses were included in the analysis. The study variables consisted of accounting students’ perceptions, prevention of accountant code-of-ethics violations, and professional ethics education. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to examine the effect of students’ perceptions and the strengthening role of professional ethics education. The findings indicate that accounting students’ perceptions have a positive and significant effect on the prevention of accountant code-of-ethics violations. Descriptively, 82% of respondents supported preventive measures and rejected ethical violations, while 18% still showed some tolerance associated with ethical dilemmas and external pressure. Professional ethics education strengthened the relationship between students’ perceptions and prevention. These findings indicate that ethical perception formation in higher education should not stop at understanding ethical norms, but should be translated into the ability to recognize risks, evaluate dilemmas, and choose actions consistent with professional integrity. The study implies the need for applied ethics learning through case studies, decision-making simulations, and discussion of professional pressure situations.
