Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of teenagers in business management. The activity was made in the form of training and mentoring which was carried out for 2 days and was carried out in the hall of the Sanrobone village office, Sanrobone district, Takalar district and was attended by 22 teenagers. This entrepreneurship training was carried out by STIEM Bongaya Makassar and the Sanrobone village government. The methods used in this service activity include the lecture method at the socialization stage on the understanding and knowledge of business management or management, the discussion method for the business management understanding stage. Based on the results of community service activities, results were obtained in the form of the need for support and space for teenagers to develop their entrepreneurial spirit. Training and mentoring to improve management skills or business management are activities that must be done to help teenagers in running their businesses. The role of campuses in helping youth entrepreneurs must be sustainable.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve understanding and financial management skills among the managers of the Baitul Qurro Islamic Boarding School, South Tangerang. This socialization activity was carried out during October 2021. The objects of this activity were Islamic boarding school managers, including the Islamic boarding school head, treasurer and administrative staff. The activity methods used include training, workshops and focus group discussions. The training includes material on financial planning, budget management, bookkeeping and financial reporting. Interactive workshops provide opportunities for participants to apply the theory they have learned through case studies and practical simulations. Focus group discussions are used to identify specific problems faced in financial management in Islamic boarding schools and find joint solutions. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in financial management understanding and skills among participants. They are able to make better financial plans, manage budgets more efficiently, and carry out more transparent and accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting. The implication of this activity is the creation of a better financial management system at the Baitul Qurro Islamic Boarding School, which in turn will support operational sustainability and development of the Islamic boarding school. Apart from that, improving financial management skills is also expected to increase stakeholder accountability and trust in the management of Islamic boarding school funds.

Abstract

Technological developments in the financial system have of course brought changes to aspects of human life, especially in payment methods which are now changing and are commonly known as digital payments or E-Tilang. This research is a quantitative study which aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness of using the E-Ticket system on people's financial behavior, where the sample in this study is 100 people in the Pangkalan Balai area, Banyuasin Regency according to data on total cases based on vehicles affected by E-Tickets. and members of the Banyuasin Police Traffic Unit. The data used is primary data and secondary data. Determination of the sample using non-probability sampling. The analysis tool used is SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) 4.0 by testing the outer model and inner model.

Abstract

The financial sector is one area that is greatly influenced by the development of information technology. Both in administrative processes in financial institutions such as the Bhakti Karya savings and loan cooperative and non-formal training in the form of training outside financial institutions. Almost all financial institutions, companies, government agencies, financial institutions and others have switched to using electronic-based applications. The aim is to be able to process data easily and quickly. The Microsoft Excel training given to Ksp Karya Bhakti members/employees by the Community Service Team went smoothly. The institution welcomed this training activity because members/employees often feel overwhelmed when it is the end of the month to prepare the institution's financial reports. Especially members/employees in the reporting section who are still relatively new to using Microsoft Excel software in making institutional financial reports, so far making calculation reports has been done manually by writing in books and using a calculator.

Abstract

The development of information technology has made it easier for people to access various digital services, including online gambling or cyber gambling, which has now become a global phenomenon and has given rise to various legal problems. In Indonesia, online gambling crimes are increasingly widespread and disturbing, considering the negative impact on society, especially in the economic, social and mental aspects of society. Criminal law policy in Indonesia, especially in handling online gambling crimes, still faces a number of challenges, both in terms of statutory regulations and the implementation of effective law enforcement. This research aims to examine criminal law policies in Indonesia in dealing with online gambling crimes, analysis of the challenges faced in law enforcement, and recommendations needed to strengthen efforts to eradicate this crime. Using a normative juridical approach, the research results show that although there are provisions in the Criminal Code and related laws that regulate gambling, existing regulations are still unable to fully address the complexity and dynamics of online gambling crimes. Therefore, more comprehensive legal policy steps are needed, including updating regulations and increasing the capacity of law enforcement in eradicating online gambling in Indonesia.

Abstract

Home industries such as Noga Sari, daily produce processed nuts with original and chocolate flavors. With previous research that obtained information about the composition of many units of each variant in production, as well as determining the maximum profit obtained optimally, to determine this, as a consequence of the analysis, the maximum profit of UMKM Noga Sari must be calculated. To this end, a linear program is used to calculate the maximum profit using the simplex approach through a solver. The quantitative method is applied in this research. Information gathered from talks with the UMKM Noga Sari's owner.

Abstract

The problem so far is that there is no determination of how much beef business income, especially in the lower market of Takengon, so to find out the amount of beef business income in the Lower market of Takengon, an analysis of income measured in economic terms is made. The data collection method used is a field study technique, which is research conducted directly on the object by interviewing beef sellers, especially in the lower market area of Takengon which will be analyzed by quantitative methods by comparing field data based on ratio calculations using the income formula. The results showed that the total costs incurred for the beef business within one year reached Rp. 274,700,000 with an average of Rp. 22,891,700 while the amount of production in the beef business within one year reached Rp. 447,600,000 in one year with an average receipt of Rp. 37,300,000 and the net profit received within one year was Rp. 65,300,000 with an average profit per month of Rp. 5,441,000.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the profit of donut production at UMM Donat Kyus through the application of the simplex method. By using a linear programming approach, this study analyzes the most effective combination of donut production to maximize profits. Research data were obtained through interviews and direct observation of the donut production process, including the amount of raw materials, production time, production costs, production capacity, and profit per day. The results showed that the optimal production combination was 46 pcs of potato donuts and 29 pcs of regular donuts per day, which has the potential to generate profits between IDR 100,000 to IDR 140,000 per day. This study highlights the importance of effective resource management in achieving maximum profits at UMKM Donat Kyus. These findings provide significant implications for production decision making in similar UMKM, so that it can increase business efficiency and profitability

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a dynamic global network infrastructure with standard configuration capabilities and interoperable communication protocols where physical and virtual "things" have identities, physical attributes and virtual personalities and use smart interfaces, and are integrated into the network. Water is a source of life for humans and nutrients needed by humans. One of the essential daily needs of living things in this world that cannot be separated is water. The problem or obstacle that exists with the use of artesian water is that when the meter calculation (usage standard) is still using human labor, in other words there is a mobile officer at the end of every month, while in the middle of the month the officer returns to provide a payment account receipt. Not yet, if the officer has difficulty checking, they have to be behind the customer's house if the meter (standard of use) is located behind the house, and the place is not strategic. Then sometimes the recording is not accurate because it is not in accordance with the usage of the existing customer being metered. This gives the effect of a longer process, less accurate results, and makes the job more difficult and customers also feel worried that if the staff is not careful about recording water usage, the authors are inspired to design and make a tool to make it easier to record water usage with modern technology. namely the Artetis Water Billing Information System using Water Flow and IoT-based Sim900A in the Purwoyoso village area of Semarang where people can maintain and manage water more effectively and efficiently for human survival.

Abstract

Pandean is one of the villages in Gondang District, Nganjuk Regency. This village is one of the largest shallot producers in Nganjuk. In addition, Pandean also has community’s small bussiness and also tourism attraction that can support it to become a tourist’s attraction in Pandean Village. The natural potentials in Pandean Village can be used as the main attraction of Pandean, agrotourism. With good management and routine training, Pandean Village can be used as a tourist village that competes with other tourist villages, especially in the East Java.
