Abstract

The community service activity entitled "Training on Making Organic Fertilizer with Biocomposters at SMP Negeri 40 Makassar" aims to increase the knowledge, skills, and environmental awareness of teachers and students in managing organic waste. This program applies a participatory approach and project-based learning through three main stages, namely preparation, training, and mentoring. A total of 50 participants consisting of teachers, students, and cleaning staff participated in direct training on the theory and operation of biocomposters. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge by 42.2% and a decrease in the volume of organic waste by up to 57%. The biocomposter produces 65 kg of solid compost and 15 liters of liquid organic fertilizer within 21 days. In addition, the School Biocomposter Management Team (TPBS) was formed as an effort to sustain the program. The implementation of biocomposters not only reduces waste generation, but also creates a greener and cleaner school environment, while strengthening environmental education practices that are in line with the Adiwiyata program and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) points 11 and 13. This program is expected to be a school-based waste management model that can be replicated in other educational institutions.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the leading causes of premature death in Indonesia, with the number of cases continuing to increase annually. Low public knowledge and persistent belief in traditional medicine myths pose challenges in hypertension prevention and control efforts. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of health education through increased herbal concoction production in improving public knowledge, attitudes, and behavior regarding hypertension prevention. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre- and post-test plan without a control group. The study subjects were 40 residents of Banjar Seminari Village, Dayun District, Siak Regency, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The intervention was provided through health education and hands-on practice in making herbal concoctions. Data were collected using questionnaires before and after the intervention, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge (1.2 ± 0.6 to 4.6 ± 0.5; p < 0.001), attitude (2.1 ± 0.5 to 4.3 ± 0.4; p < 0.001), and behavior (1.5 ± 0.6 to 3.8 ± 0.7; p < 0.001). Therefore, interactive education-based health socialization through herbal concoctions has been proven effective in increasing understanding, forming positive attitudes, and encouraging hypertension prevention behavior in the community.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of integrating Google Earth Engine (GEE) into a STEM-based learning framework to enhance the spatial thinking skills of geography undergraduates. A quasi-experimental design involving 60 students was implemented, with one class assigned to the experimental group receiving GEE-integrated STEM instruction and the other to the control group receiving conventional instruction. Spatial thinking outcomes were measured using pretest–posttest cognitive assessments and four performance indicators: spatial representation, spatial relation, spatial analysis, and spatial application. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, normality and homogeneity tests, paired-sample t-tests, independent-sample t-tests, Cohen’s d effect size, and ANCOVA controlling for pretest scores. The results indicate that the experimental group achieved significantly higher posttest scores than the control group (t(58) = 10.24, p < 0.001), with a large effect size (d = 2.64). ANCOVA further confirmed the robustness of the treatment effect after adjusting for initial differences (F(1,57) = 101.99, p < 0.001). Indicator-level analysis also showed consistent improvement across all spatial thinking components. This study is limited by its single-institution context, quasi-experimental design, and potential novelty effects associated with geospatial technology integration. Future research should involve larger and more diverse samples to validate these findings.

Abstract

Program KKN-PMM Universitas Negeri Makassar di Desa Mallongi-Longi, Kabupaten Pinrang, bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital pelaku UMKM melalui pemanfaatan marketplace dan aplikasi Canva. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kompetensi digital serta keterampilan desain visual pelaku usaha desa yang berdampak pada rendahnya daya saing di pasar daring. Dengan metode Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) yang mencakup observasi, penyuluhan, pelatihan, pendampingan, evaluasi, dan perencanaan keberlanjutan, program ini memberikan pelatihan praktis terkait penggunaan Facebook Marketplace, TikTok Shop, desain branding produk dengan Canva, serta pemetaan lokasi usaha melalui plot maps. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman marketplace (+16%), keterampilan platform digital (+8%), penggunaan Canva (+30%), dan penguasaan plot maps (+24%). Aspek Canva menunjukkan peningkatan tertinggi, di mana seluruh peserta (100%) mampu membuat desain promosi secara mandiri. Program ini efektif memperkuat literasi digital, akses pasar, dan branding produk UMKM, serta berpotensi direplikasi di wilayah lain.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas peternak sapi di Desa Congko, Kabupaten Soppeng, Sulawesi Selatan melalui diseminasi mesin pencacah rumput yang efisien. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh peternak adalah pencacahan rumput yang dilakukan secara manual, memerlukan banyak waktu dan tenaga serta berdampak pada kualitas pakan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, pemilihan dan penyediaan mesin pencacah rumput, sosialisasi, serta pelatihan penggunaan dan perakitan mesin. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam efisiensi kerja, kualitas pakan, dan kemandirian peternak dalam merawat serta memperbaiki mesin. Program ini tidak hanya berhasil memberikan solusi teknis, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan peternak dalam mengadopsi teknologi baru. Dengan dampak positif ini, diharapkan program ini dapat diterapkan di daerah lain dengan kondisi serupa untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan peternak secara lebih luas.

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Crowd Control Policy in the jurisdiction of the North Morowali Police has not been running optimally, this is due to the failure to achieve the Communication Aspect between implementers has not run well. Coordination between leaders and members in the field still often experiences obstacles, especially in conveying information quickly and accurately when urgent situations occur. and communication in handling crowd control demonstrations has not run well because the masses who hold demonstrations are always in unexpected circumstances without prior notification. The Resource Aspect, both personnel and infrastructure owned by the North Morowali Police Samapta Unit is still relatively limited. The number of personnel on duty is not proportional to the area and intensity of community activities. The Disposition Aspect that the commitment and integrity of implementers in the field is quite good, where Samapta members try to carry out crowd control tasks by upholding the principles of professionalism and proportionality. The Bureaucratic Structure Aspect, in the implementation of the crowd control policy at the North Morowali Police has been clearly structured and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and has a clear division of tasks, starting from planning, implementation, to evaluation

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan pada Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu. Menekankan pada Penerapan Rasio Keuangan Dalam Meningkatkan Laba. Sehubungan dengan judul penelitian, maka masalah yang dapat dikemukakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: “Apakah Penggunaan Modal Kerja Pada Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Sudah Dilaksanakan Secara Efektif Dan Efisein?” Dan Tujuan Dari Penelitian Ini Adalah Untuk Mengetahui Analisis Penggunaan Rasio Keuangan Pada Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu. Akuntansi adalah seni (keterampilan) dan ilmu mengolah transaksi atau kejadian yang setidak-tidaknya dapat diukur dengan uang menjadi laporan keuangan yang dibutuhkan oleh para pihak yang berkepentingan atas perusahaan yang nantinya akan digunakan di dalam proses pengambilan keputusan bisnis. Dalam penelitian ini metode analisa yang digunakan adalah analisa rasio likuiditas dengan melakukan tahapan perhitunan Current Ratio, Acit Tes Ratio, dan Cas Ratio. Dari pembahasan tersebut diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Tahun 2019 berada pada posisi liquid karena pada tahun 2019 current ratio 392,85% atau berada pada posisi di atas 100% artinya Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu mampu menutupi semua kewajiban pendeknya dalam 2 tahun terakhir (2019-2020). Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu dapat mengembalikan kewajiban jangka pendeknya yang jumlahnya lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan jumlah ativa lancar yang tertanam dalam perusahaan, artinya perusahaan tidak akan mengalami kesulitan dalam membayar kewajiban-kewajibannya yang telah jatuh tempo. Pada Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu penggunaan modal kerja sangat efisien karena pada tahun 2019 liquiditasnya 190% sangat baik dan tahun 2020 liquiditasnya 392,85% Gross Profit Margin Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Tahun 2019 sebesar 8.78% dan pada tahun 2020 sebesar 5.74% berarti dari tahun 2019 dan 2020 Gross Profit Margin pada Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu mengalami penurunan sebesar: 3.04%. Operating Profit Margin pada Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Tahun 2019 sebesar: 8.78% dan tahun 2020 sebesar: 5.74%. Net Profit Margin pada Rumah Makan Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Tahun 2019 sebesar: 8.78% dan tahun 2020: 5.74%. Dengan melihat hasil rasio, penulis menyarankan agar sebaiknya lebih meningkatkan rasio keuangan atau peningatan liquiditas yang ada, dalam meningkatkan usahanya.Kata Kunci: Rasio Keuangan, Laba AbstractThis research was conducted at the Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Restaurant. In connection with the title of the study, the problem that can be raised in this study is: "Has the Use of Working Capital in the Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Restaurant Been Implemented Effectively and Ephisein?" And the purpose of this study is to find out the analysis of the use of financial ratios in sri rezeki kotamobagu restaurant. Accounting is the art (skill) and science of processing transactions or events that can at least be measured by money into financial statements needed by interested parties to the company which will later be used in the business decision-making process. In this study, the analysis method used was liquidity ratio analysis by carrying out the stages of current ratio, acit test ratio, and cas ratio. From the discussion above, it can be concluded that the Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Restaurant in 2019 is in a liquid position because in 2019 the current ratio of 392.85% or is in a position above 100%, meaning that the Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Restaurant is able to cover all its short obligations in the last 2 years (2019-2020). Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Restaurant can return its short-term obligations, which are smaller in amount compared to the amount of current ativa embedded in the company, meaning that the company will have no difficulty in paying its obligations that have matured. At the Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Restaurant, the use of working capital is very efficient because in 2019 the liquidity was 190% very good and in 2020 the liquidity was 392.85% Gross Profit Margin of Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Restaurant in 2019 was 8.78% and in 2020 it was 5.74% meaningful from 2019 and 2020 Gross Profit Margin at Sri Rezeki Kotamobagu Restaurant decreased by: 3.04%. Abstract

Communication is a fundamental human need, yet individuals with hearing impairments continue to face barriers due to limited access to sign language translation technologies. In Indonesia, the adoption of such technologies remains low, particularly in regions such as Sorong, Southwest Papua, creating a communication gap between the Deaf community and the general public. This study develops a web-based detection system for 36 classes of the Indonesian Sign System (SIBI) using the YOLOv5 algorithm. The dataset consists of 5,682 images of SIBI hand poses with variations in lighting and background, divided into 4,970 training images (87%), 376 validation images (7%), and 335 test images (6%). All data were processed through labeling, preprocessing, augmentation, balancing, and model training. The training was conducted for 150 epochs, and the evaluation results show that YOLOv5 is capable of detecting SIBI signs with significant accuracy. Performance evaluation using a confusion matrix achieved a detection accuracy of 95%, supported by stable precision and recall values and real-time inference performance on common web browsers. Usability testing with 20 respondents indicated satisfaction levels above 72.8%, demonstrating that the system is practical and easy to use. This research presents a validated real-time, web-based SIBI detection system that supports inclusive computer vision applications and enhances accessibility in public services such as education, healthcare, and administrative environments.

Abstract

Battu Winangun Village is one of the villages with abundant agricultural resource potential, especially papaya plants. However, the utilization of papaya fruit has so far been very limited to fresh consumption and does not yet have optimal economic value-added for the community. This community service activity aims to empower the people of Batuwinangun Village through innovation in managing papaya into processed products in the form of dried candied fruit which has a long shelf life and high selling value. The methods used include field observation, socialization of local food potential, technical processing training, production assistance, and activity evaluation. The results of the service show a significant increase in public knowledge and skills in processing papaya into innovative food products. This dried papaya candy innovation is expected to become a regional superior product capable of supporting food independence while strengthening the sustainable development of village MSMEs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Supply Chain Management and constraints of existing ERP systems in PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk is a company engaged in the household production industry by offering food products, beverages, kitchen needs, to toiletries. In an effort to develop its business operations, it is known that PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk implements its management strategy through ERP and Supply Chain Management systems. The ERP system at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk functions as an information integration tool for all company stakeholders, while Supply Chain Management functions as a tool for monitoring the flow of goods to consumers and the amount of inventory. Thus, the two strategies are related to the certainty of the performance of Unilever employees. This paper aims to analyze the performance and the relationship between supply chain management, and the effect of the ERP system implemented by Unilever companies on operational performance through interaction and communication of information in order to be efficient in implementing supply chain management strategies and ERP systems. The research method uses a document study approach, as well as primary and secondary data collection techniques. The results of the study reveals that the Supply Chain Management strategy of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk has four components, namely supply chain uncertainty, management of economies of scale, selection of transportation modes, and product inventory control; as well as the ERP and Supply Chain Management systems of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk have a positive and significant impact on the company's performance so as to obtain profits and achieve company goals.
