Abstract

Management of honey bees, especially Apis cerana bees, is widely cultivated by farmers in Sulawesi. Lack of cultivation knowledge and management causes productivity to decrease. A. cerana bee cultivation training at the Mekar Farmers Group in Timpuseng Village, Maros Regency, aims to increase farmers' knowledge and skills in bee colony management, honey harvesting techniques and processing of bee products. This training method includes socialization, presentation of material, discussion and evaluation. Based on data, the majority of farmers (70%) harvest honey by pressing it, while 50% of farmers increase their colonies by dividing existing colonies, and the other 50% hunt in the forest. However, only 30% of farmers were able to differentiate between bee products such as honey, beeswax and bee bread, indicating the need for additional education. This training uses a practical approach to support environmentally friendly colony management and diversification of bee products as added economic value. Evaluation results show that this training contributes significantly to improving farmers' technical skills, encouraging the adoption of sustainable methods, and supporting the preservation of local ecosystems. The training participation rate reached 70%, indicating the high interest of farmers in developing bee cultivation. This training provides a strong foundation for the development of independent and sustainable bee-based businesses.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of Article 77 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 23 of 2019 on the Management of National Resources for State Defense from the perspective of Islamic criminal law. The research employs a normative approach with qualitative analysis methods applied to legislation, Islamic legal literature, and relevant doctrines. The findings indicate that the principles of Islamic criminal law, such as justice, public welfare (maslahah), and legal certainty, hold significant relevance in examining the implementation of this article. Additionally, the study identifies the potential for harmonization between national law and Islamic law in enforcing specific criminal penalties related to state defense violations. The integration of Islamic legal values can enhance the legitimacy and effectiveness of national law, particularly in countries with a Muslim-majority population like Indonesia. In this context, incorporating Sharia values not only strengthens public trust in the national legal system but also creates a legal mechanism that is adaptive and responsive to the needs of modern society. The study recommends fostering dialogue among stakeholders and enhancing the capacity of legal practitioners in understanding Islamic legal principles. Thus, the alignment between national law and Islamic law can contribute to establishing an inclusive, equitable, and welfare-oriented legal system.

Abstract

High blood pressure or hypertension is a condition where blood pressure always exceeds normal limits, with systolic blood pressure exceeding 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure exceeding 90 mmHg. The aim of this research is to identify whether there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance in taking medication in elderly people who suffer from hypertension. This research applies a quantitative approach with a sample of 96 respondents, selected using a random sampling technique (random sampling). The data in this study were analyzed univariately and bivariately, by applying the Spearman test to assess the relationship between all the variables studied. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that measured the level of knowledge, namely, with the validity and reliability of Cronbach alpha values of 0.856 for 21 valid questions, and compliance with taking medication, namely, with the validity and reliability of Cronbach alpha values of 0.728 for 8 valid questions. Two questionnaires were used in this study: Compliance Level and MMAS 8. The results of the analysis of respondents' level of knowledge revealed that the majority of respondents had good knowledge, namely 66.7%, followed by sufficient knowledge at 30.2%, and insufficient knowledge at 3.1%. Meanwhile, for the level of compliance with taking medication, the majority of respondents were compliant (71.9%), followed by moderate (25.3%) and low (3.1%) levels of compliance.Reviewing the results of the Spearman Rank (Rho) statistical test, we obtained a value of 0.075 with a p-value = 0.05, which indicates that there is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance in taking medication.
