Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain how students' varied cognitive styles and the outcomes of their mathematical creative thinking interact. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. To find, examine, assess, and interpret all of the research that is currently available on the topic of interest, the SLR technique is employed. All publications pertaining to mathematical creative thinking and cognitive style in student learning achievement are compiled and reviewed in order to gather data. The international journals used were 5 which only focused on Scopus. The results showed that creative thinking can be strengthened in the science curriculum, but empirical evidence supporting the relationship between the two is still limited, but examining the predictive value of creative thinking (divergent and convergent thinking) for scientific reasoning, while considering task specificity and academic achievement, various aspects of divergent thinking (i.e. fluency, flexibility, and originality) benefit from different types of support. Students' fluency scores increased under the full support condition, but decreased in the other two conditions, the FI group had lower and more efficient cognitive load than the FD group. The effect of information load on cognitive load follows a piecewise linear correlation with two prominent nodes, field dependence-independence (FDI) can affect academic performance, selective attention, and working memory. However, the underlying mechanisms of how FDI modulates selective attention and working memory remain unclear, field independence (FDI) may affect academic performance, selective attention, and working memory. However, the underlying mechanism of how FDI modulates selective attention and working memory remains unclear and field-independent students produced better learning achievement but field-dependent students showed higher frustration tolerance, low-ability students experienced more significant improvement than high-ability students. Low ability students also showed higher frustration tolerance.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an innovative solution in the management of Islamic education, emphasizing a balance between technological advancement and the unique values and principles inherent to Islamic educational institutions. AI significantly enhances administrative efficiency by automating routine tasks such as student data management, scheduling, and resource allocation, thereby reducing human error and workload while enabling administrators to focus on strategic educational improvements. In the pedagogical context, AI supports adaptive and personalized learning tailored to students’ individual needs, promoting not only academic achievement but also critical thinking and spiritual growth aligned with Islamic holistic education. The application of AI also facilitates broader access to educational resources through varied digital formats, addressing geographical and infrastructural challenges. Nevertheless, the adoption of AI raises complex ethical, cultural, and religious issues, including privacy protection, algorithmic bias, and the risk of reducing human involvement in education. The study underlines the necessity of a collaborative and careful approach involving scholars, educators, and technologists to develop AI frameworks compliant with Islamic ethics and sharia principles. Successful implementation depends heavily on educators’ readiness and continuous professional development to harness AI effectively and ethically. This research synthesizes recent literature (2015–2025) to provide a comprehensive framework guiding policymakers and educational leaders in leveraging AI to create dynamic, ethical, and spiritually grounded Islamic education management systems. Ultimately, AI integration can transform Islamic education by enhancing efficiency and quality without compromising its foundational moral and spiritual values.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the spatial abilities of students in light of Florence Littauer's personality types and understanding of how students personality traits can influence their mathematical spatial abilities. This research is a qualitative research with an exploratory method. Data were collected from eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Tasikmalaya, . The subjects of the research are eight eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 13 Tasikmalaya from each representing each of the four personality types. The research instruments included a personality type questionnaire, spatial ability tests, and unstructured interviews. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate variations in spatial ability achievement according to personality type. Students with a melancholic type demonstrated comprehensive mastery of all spatial indicators, while sanguine and phlegmatic students showed strengths in spatial perception as well as some aspects of visualization and rotation, though they still needed reinforcement in using geometric terminology and image representation. Meanwhile, choleric students exhibited strong mental rotation skills but experienced difficulties in visualizing objects from multiple perspectives and assembling shapes after manipulation. These findings contribute to mathematics education theory by highlighting the role of personality types in developing students’ spatial thinking skills

Abstract

Hypertension, commonly known as the “silent killer” can induce anxiety in sufferers due to the need for long-term treatment. High levels of anxiety will impact the decline in sleep quality, which disrupts blood pressure stability and increases the risk of hypertension recurrence. This study examines the correlation between anxiety and sleep quality in elderly hypertensive patients at Purwosari Health Center, Surakarta. This research employs a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional correlational design, using the Geriatric Anxiety Scale (GAS) questionnaire to assess anxiety and the Sleep Quality Scale (SQS) to measure sleep quality. The study involved 159 respondents within the service area. A significant correlation exists between anxiety and sleep quality among hypertensive patients in the working area Purwosari Health Center, Surakarta City. The correlation test between anxiety and sleep quality yielded a significant value of p = 0.000 (P < 0.01). The Chi-Square analysis reveals a significant link between anxiety and sleep quality (p = 0.001, H₀ rejected, H₁ accepted). Of the 80 respondents with mild anxiety, 54 (67.5%) had good sleep quality; whereas of the 79 respondents with moderate anxiety, 52 (65.8%) experienced poor sleep quality. Conclusion: The heavier the anxiety level, the worse the sleep quality, thus requiring appropriate interventions to reduce anxiety in elderly hypertension patients.

Abstract

The rapid development of the halal economy in recent decades demands support from a robust and sustainable Islamic financial system. Among the financing instruments that play a crucial role in supporting the sustainability of this ecosystem are the ijarah and Ijarah Muntahiyah Bittamlik (IMBT) contracts. Both contracts offer asset-based financing solutions free from usury, thus aligning with Islamic economic values. Through a gradual leasing and ownership scheme, ijarah and IMBT facilitate access for businesses, particularly halal MSMEs, to productive assets without requiring large upfront capital. This approach not only encourages real sector growth and business efficiency but also expands the reach of Islamic financial services in the community. This article aims to examine the contribution of ijarah and IMBT to halal economic growth, evaluate the challenges of their implementation, and propose sustainable optimization strategies.
