Abstract

The focus of this research problem is how to manage the competency development of Madrasah Aliyah teachers at the Daar Al Uluum Asahan Modern Islamic Boarding School. While the research objectives consist of: (a) how to plan the competency development of madrasah aliyah teachers at the Daar Al Ulum Asahan Islamic Boarding School, (2) how to implement the competency development program for madrasah aliyah teachers at the Daar Al Ulum Asahan Islamic Boarding School, (3) how to implement the program competency development for madrasah aliyah teachers at the Daar Al Ulum Asahan Islamic boarding school, and (4) How is the implementation of the aliyah madrasa teacher competency development program at the Daar Al Ulum Asahan Islamic boarding school. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method which aims to determine the planning, preparation, program implementation, and evaluation of teacher competency development. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and document study. While the data analysis techniques use procedures; data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion drawing. To strengthen the validity of data analysis and research findings, researchers refer to the use of data validity standards suggested by Lincoln & Guba, which consist of credibility, transferability, dependability and comfirmability. (1, Planning for competency development for Madrasah Aliyah teachers at Daar al Ulum Asahan Islamic Boarding School is carried out with Madrasah Aliyah work meetings as a decision-making process in determining plans to be carried out every year. (2, Implementation of teacher competency development programs through two programs, namely informal development programs where teachers increase their competence by studying various book sources to increase knowledge, and attend various kinds of training to develop their competence (3, Organizing the development of madrasah aliyah teachers at Daar Al Ulum Asahan is the responsibility of the pesantren leadership, even though the madrasa head is the operational executor of teacher competency development (4. Supervision of the madrasah teacher competency development program at the Daar Al Ulum Asahan Islamic boarding school is carried out by submitting oral reports and written reports. In the practice of fostering teacher competency development orally, the head of the activity committee together with the head of the madrasa after completing the activity reports verbally on the implementation of the activity , and after that within two weeks a written report is given.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and analyze the quality culture at (STAI) Syekh H. Abdul Halim Hasan Al-Ishlahiyah Binjai and STAI Jam'iyah Mahmudiah Tanjung Pura City. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with a multi-site approach. The results of this study are: (1) The implementation of an institutional quality culture in educational institutions has a positive impact on improving service quality. This is reflected in a high level of customer satisfaction, where students are satisfied with the services provided; (2) Culture of good resource quality at STAI Syekh H. Abdul Halim Hasan Al-Ishlahiyah Binjai and STAI Jam' iyah Mahmudiah Tanjung Pura Langkat City is an increase in the quality and performance of human resources as well as an increase in productivity, satisfaction of human resources, and the quality of education services. With clear policies, effective training and development programmes, rigorous recruitment processes, regular performance evaluations and proper performance management policies, educational institutions will achieve a significant positive impact on their progress and success; (3) The implementation of a lecturer and staff development program that focuses on the Tri Dharma of higher education at STAI Syekh H. Abdul Halim Hasan Al-Ishlahiyah Binjai and STAI Jam'iyah Mahmudiah Tanjung Pura Langkat City is that the two tertiary institutions can contribute by collaborating with educational institutions and research institutes, as well as meeting national standards, this tertiary institution is able to maintain the quality of higher education, produce quality graduates, and play an active role in the development of science and society; (4) The availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure at STAI Syekh H. Abdul Halim Hasan Al-Ishlahiyah Binjai and STAI Jam'iyah Mahmudiah Tanjung Pura Langkat City is to improve the quality of education in both institutions and provide good support for student success. With comfortable lecture halls, complete libraries, adequate laboratories and studios, as well as adequate sports and fitness facilities, educational institutions create a conducive and effective learning environment; (5) The steps taken by the leadership of STAI Sheikh H. Abdul Halim Hasan Al-Ishlahiyah Binjai and STAI Jam' iyah Mahmudiah Tanjung Pura Langkat City is the creation of an institutional environment that is transparent, trusted and accountable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of curriculum development policies at MAN 2 Model Medan, 1) What are the steps for implementing curriculum development policies at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Medan Model?, 2) What is the process of implementing curriculum development policies at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Medan Model? ?, 3) How is the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of curriculum development policies at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Medan? Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and document studies. Analysis of the research data uses the steps proposed by Miles & Hubermun (1994) which include data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. In strengthening the validity of the data findings and the authenticity of the research, the researcher refers to the use of data validity standards suggested by Lincoln & Guba (1985), which consist of credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of this study found: 1) The steps for implementing curriculum development policies at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Medan are top down. This curriculum development policy makes madrasas apply two types of curriculum, namely the 2013 Curriculum and SKS. The implementation of this curriculum development policy also involves teachers, staff, WKM, and Madrasah Committees. 2) The characteristics of the process of implementing curriculum development policies in the Medan Model 2 Madrasah Aliyah refer to the curriculum blueprint program. This document contains guidelines and matters related to the implementation of the curriculum at MAN 2 Model Medan. Overall, the process of implementing curriculum development policies at MAN 2 Model Medan is quite good, but still needs to overcome existing obstacles, namely related to the implementation of local content; and 3) Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of curriculum development policies at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Medan was carried out 3 times, namely at the planning, implementation, and final stages of the program. This is done to maintain the quality of the madrasah and meet the established quality standards.

Abstract

This research is to find outThe influence of organizational climate, communication competence and work motivation on the performance of North Sumatra Sharia Bank employees in North Sumatra. This research uses quantitative methods, with a form of descriptive research that processes data using the results of distributing questionnaires to population samples, so as to obtain a significant relationship and a mutual tendency towards the probability of error regarding the hypothesis being built. This type of research approaches path analysis (path analysis). The results of this research are: 1. Organizational climate has a direct positive effect on work motivation at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 8%. 2. Communication competency has a direct effect on work motivation at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 11.2%. 3. Organizational climate has a direct effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 11.9%. 4. Communication competency has a direct effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 12.6%. 5. Work motivation has a direct effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 11%. 6. Organizational climate has an indirect effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra through work motivation of 1.5%. 7. Communication competency has an indirect effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra through work motivation of 0.8%. Work motivation has a direct effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 11%. 6. Organizational climate has an indirect effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra through work motivation of 1.5%. 7. Abstract

This research is to find out; 1) direct influence of organizational culture on lecturer performance, 2) direct influence of lecturer cognitive abilities on lecturer performance, 3) direct influence of lecturer work teams on lecturer performance, 4) influence of organizational culture on work teams, 5) direct influence of cognitive abilities on work teams , 6) the indirect influence of organizational culture on performance through work teams, 7) the indirect influence of cognitive abilities on lecturer performance through work teams. This research uses quantitative methods, with a form of descriptive research that processes data using the results of distributing questionnaires to population samples, so as to obtain a significant relationship and a mutual tendency towards the probability of error regarding the hypothesis being built. This type of research approaches path analysis (path analysis). This research examines or analyzes the relationship between research variables, as well as measuring the influence of one variable on other variables. In this research, there are four variables that will be studied, namely (1) organizational culture, (2) cognitive abilities, (3) work team, and (4) lecturer performance. The population in this study were all permanent lecturers at private universities consisting of forty-three (43) universities and high schools in Kopertais Region IX, North Sumatra. The sample used in this research was proportional random sampling guided by the Krejcle and Morgan tables. The research sample included 311 lecturers from eight (8) universities and high schools in Kopertais Region IX, North Sumatra who were still active until 2021/2022. The results of the research, the R-Square value of Lecturer Performance (Y) is 0.760, which means that Organizational Culture (X1), Cognitive Ability (X2), and Work Team (X3) are able to explain Lecturer Performance (Y) by 76%, the remaining 24% explained by other factors, the R-Square value of the Work Team (X3) is 0.500, which means that Organizational Culture (X1) and Cognitive Ability (X2) are able to explain the Work Team (X3) by 50%, the remaining 50% is explained by other factors, Organizational Culture (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Lecturer Performance (Y), with a coefficient value (Original Sample column) = 0.383, and P-Values = 0.000 < 0.05 (Hypothesis Accepted),

Abstract

The aim of this research is to discuss curriculum innovation management in Man, Central Tapanuli Regency (Multi-Site Study in MAN in Central Tapanuli Regency). This research uses a multi-site qualitative method where data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and document study techniques. Meanwhile, to strengthen the validity of the data found and the authenticity of the research, the researcher refers to the use of data validity standards suggested by Lincoln & Guba, which consist of credibility, transferability. , dependability, and comfirmability. The results of this research are: Curriculum innovation planning at MAN Central Tapanuli Regency has several aspects, including: a) always improving the quality of education both from an academic and non-academic perspective; b) being a superior madrasah with unique skills. c) Having new ideas or ideas related to the emergence of curriculum innovation local load (MULOK); d) Having a goal so that students are able to live and have life skills, an entrepreneurial, national, and religious spirit; and e) Having graduates and opportunities that are accepted by the community based on the foundation of ahlussunnah wal jama'ah; 2). The implementation of Curriculum Innovation at MAN in Central Tapanuli Regency has several similarities, namely: a) Both use the same curriculum base, namely referring to BSNP, b) Carry out curriculum development in religious subjects, c) Collaborate with other institutions to improve the quality of students in in the field of skills, d) Conducting stady comparisons with Madrasahs or other institutions as a consideration for improving education, e) Organizing structured worship practices for students to improve quality in the religious field, f) Encouraging students to remain disciplined in their behavior and administration, and g ) Hold direct practice in activities related to skills and sports; 3). The evaluation of curriculum innovation in MAN Central Tapanuli Regency is carried out gradually, either every semester or every month. B). The evaluation agenda is carried out by the Madrasah leadership with the theme of Madrasah self-evaluation (EDM) in the educational staff area. Curriculum waka evaluation is carried out incidentally with the theme of curriculum activity materials (review) in each department. Teacher evaluation is carried out in stages for educational curriculum innovation in madrasas.

Research methods in qualitative research Where data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and study documents, To strengthen the validity of the result data findings and authenticity research, researchers refer to using the standard validity of the data suggested by Lincoln & Guba, consisting of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Research result This in the form of: 1) Planning development internal teacher quality enhancement quality graduates at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Langkat, carried out with the choice of a development program competence appropriate teacher professionalism with needs; yes, replace existing programs accomplished or add another program. the program, including training, workshops, MGMP, KKG, and writing scientific work. 2) Implementation of improvement programs for quality teacher professionalism at MAN 3 Langkat is done after the planning and organizing process has been completed. The head of MAN 3 Langkat, along with the deputy head of the madrasa and the teachers, have realized the work program that has been implemented previously with full commitment and responsibility. This matter This can be seen from the training carried out, including: the 2013 curriculum, which was implemented each semester; MGMP activities carried out by each eye teacher; motivation for teachers who will continue study; 3) Supervision to enhance quality teacher professionalism at MAN 3 Langkat is carried out by the head of the madrasah. Various supervision is done in accordance with the task principal and function of each. Monitoring direct teacher performance, neither in class nor with CCTV equipment, and evaluating results, especially teacher performance achievement, of the work program in enhancement quality teacher professionalism.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to discuss training needs management (case study at the Human Resources Development Agency of North Sumatra Province). This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use interview techniques, observation, and document study, while to strengthen validity, use credibility, transferability, dependability, and comfirmability. The results of this research are: (1) Training needs management is carried out using various methods and processes; the initial steps taken are planning, analyzing, and identifying these needs, which are also integrated with the North Sumatra province strategic plan to support the achievement of the North Sumatra vision and mission. The North Sumatra provincial HR development agency also develops training programs based on identified needs, such as developing training methods, selecting programs, collaborating with external parties, and evaluating programs that have been implemented previously. and there is also ineffective or inefficient communication regarding training needs, which can also lead to delays in information gathering or inappropriate coordination. (3) The model implemented by the North Sumatra provincial HR development agency regarding training needs management begins with identifying training needs, determining quality, training planning, training implementation, training evaluation, monitoring and improvement, reporting and transparency, career development, training needs data management, and stakeholder involvement. The above model of course management of training needs will be implemented more effectively if all the systems and models that have been designed work well.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka policy at the Islamic faculty of Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra and Islamic University of North Sumatra, focusing on four things, namely implementers, targets, and management. Multicity-based qualitative research method. Data collection through observation interviews and documentation studies. The results of this study found that the implementer of MBKM in the faculty of Islam UMSU by a special MBKM unit consisting of the chairman, secretary, and members, while in the faculty of Islam UISU the implementer is the faculty and study program respectively. The targets of MBKM policy implementation in the faculties of Islam UMSU and UISU are undergraduate students in the form of the right to study three semesters outside the study program to improve hard skills and soft skills for entering the world of work. MBKM implementation management on both sites includes planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling.  The focus of planning on both sites becomes two namely tools and strategies. The organization of MBKM in the faculty of Islamic religion UMSU is under the coordinator of the vice chancellor III, while in the faculty of Islamic religion UISU is under the coordinator of the Chancellor. The implementation of MBKM on both sites is directed by the leadership through coaching, motivation, supervision, and evaluation. The form of policy control on both sites is the same, namely monitoring and evaluation and internal quality audits. The achievement of success in both sites has been achieved even though it is still an additional performance indicator.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) analyze the exemplary leadership of the principals of Al Muslimin Pandan Private Middle School and Pandan 1 Public Middle School, Tapanuli Tenga Regency, 2) analyze the performance of teachers of Al Muslimin Pandan Private Middle School and Pandan 1 Public Middle School, Central Tapanuli Regency, 3) analyze the results of exemplary the principal's leadership in improving the performance of teachers at Al Muslimin Pandan Private Middle School and Pandan 1 Public Middle School, Central Tapanuli Regency. This research uses qualitative methods and multiple approaches situs. Data was obtained through interviews, observation, documentation studies and Focus Group Discussions. Using two data analyzes namely: first, individual site data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, data verification. Second, cross- site data analysis is carried out as a process of comparing and integrating the results obtained from each site. The results of this research are: 1) Exemplary leadership of the principal of Al Muslimin Pandan Private Middle School and Pandan 1 Public Middle School, Central Tapanuli Regency, carrying out tasks on time and even arriving early and leaving later than the applicable hours. 2) The performance of teachers at Al Muslimin Pandan Private Middle School and Pandan 1 Public Middle School, Central Tapanuli Regency in terms of implementing rules and regulations, teachers have obeyed school rules and carried out tasks on time. 3) The results of the principal's exemplary leadership in improving the performance of teachers at Al Muslimin Pandan Private Middle School and Pandan 1 Public Middle School, Central Tapanuli Regency, namely increased teacher performance at Al Muslimin Pandan Private Middle School and Pandan 1 Public Middle School, Central Tapanuli Regency by seeking various forms of time discipline. Obey school rules, imitate subordinates by being humorous, and work professionally.
