Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of student activity during the learning process, the lack of student interest in learning Mathematics and the lack of use of learning models, causing low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model on the Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Elementary School Students. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SDNegeri 23 Palembang. This research is a quantitative research with experimental method with the form of research design that is Posttest-Only Control Design. Sampling using random sampling method, Data collection techniques in this study are tests, observations anddocumentation. The data analysis technique in this research is using the Paired Sample t-test. The results of the calculation of data analysis obtained that the control class posttest average value was 46.6 with the Unfinished category and the experimental class posttest average valuewas 85.7 with the Completed category and hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample t-Test which showed that the sig value 2-tailed= 0.000 < 0.05. This proves that the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. Then the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model can be a solution in improving student learning outcomes in the Mathematics subject matter of spatial construction.

Abstract

Patriarchy means the position of men as the center, the sole entrepreneur. This film was researched to raise the problems experienced by women, according to a study, the problems that most often occur in the private sphere, namely dating violence. This study aims to identifyand describe the critical discourse found in the film Story Of Kale (2020) by Teun Van Dijk. In this study, researchers used Van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis in the dimensions of text which included macro structure, superstructure, and microstructure. The type of research used is the descriptive qualitative method. The source of the data in this research is the film Story Of Kale. The method used to collect data is documentation. The data collection technique uses content analysis techniques, then the data validation technique used is source triangulation. From the results of research in the text dimension which includes macro structure, superstructure, and microstructure, it is found that intertwined relationships are found in highlighting toxic masculinity as a form of negative masculinity in a patriarchal system, the domination relation to an unhealthy relationship is woven by Argo and Kale towards Dinda.

Abstract

Literary psychology is a science that examines literary works that are believed to reflect mental processes and activities. In examining psychological work, what needs to be understood is the extent of the author's psychological involvement and the author's ability to present figures who are involved with psychology. The problem in this research is how to classify the emotions of the characters in the novel Love, Lost, and Found by Titi Sanaria. The purpose of this research is to identify and describe the emotional classification of the characters in the novel Love, Lost and Found by Titi Sanaria. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data source for this research is the novel Love, Lost and Found by Titi Sanaria published by PT Elex Media Komputindo, published in 2019. The data collection techniques in this study were literature study, reading techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data validation technique in this study uses triangulation. The data analysis technique in this study used content analysis. The results of the research show that the novel Love, Lost and Found by Titi Sanaria, tells about a girl who likes to close herself off in this novel, there are 7 emotional classifications of the characters consisting of (1) the concept of guilt, (2) the feeling of guilt that is harbored, (3) self-punishment, (4) shame (5) sadness, (6) hatred, and (7) love.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reception of literature in terms of humanism values in the collection of poems by Binhad Nurrohmat's Throne of Sungkawa. The problems revealed in the research regarding the value of humanism in the five poems with the theme of human life with all aspects of the problem. Sources of informants came from the academic level of PGRI Palembang University students in 2018, 2019, and 2020 who had taken poetry study/appreciation courses. The research method is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis is carried out by presenting data, with analysis in tabular form. The results of the study can be concluded thatstudents who understand the reception of the themes of the five poems are; the journey of human life in the world until it is time to prepare for death. Reception of tones glorifies lower tones with a plot of sadness. Feelings/feelings in the five poems namely; feelings/feelings associated with the soul of the author with a religious background. Reception of the message, namely; do not feel that this world is everything. The five poems created by the author present human values for humans to live their lives in a positive direction.

Abstract

This study was to analyze or describe students' reading comprehension abilities in Indonesian language learning narrative material, describing the obstacles experienced by students in reading comprehension skills. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, data collection in this study is in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data that has been collected can be processed through data validity and data reliability. The subjects in this study were 4A class students at SD Negeri 136 Palembang, totaling 24 students and the object was the students' comprehension ability in reading narrative material. The results of this study can show that students' reading comprehension abilities can be seen from the results of observations based on 5 categories, namely very capable categories, capable categories, quite capable categories, less able categories, incapable categories, and based on interviews students and teachers are already able to read well only, Of course, several students were not fluent in reading comprehension, consisting of 5 out of 24 students who experienceddifficulties in conveying reading comprehension due to factors in the school environment and family environment, then there were 3 students who had reading comprehension skills in the very capable category in reading comprehension. Based on these data, the ability to read comprehension of students' narrative material for grade 4 SD Negeri 136 Palembang is included in the capable category.

Abstract

The background of this research is the growth of self-confidence character is very important and needs special attention because it is one of the preventive efforts to overcome the character crisis that occurred in Indonesia, so it is hoped that the activities that have been carried out must continue to be strengthened and further developed in order to produce the seeds of the nation's generation who have a strong self-confident character. The problem for this researcher is how is the process of instilling a confident character through dance extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 46 Palembang, the background of this research is therefore the purpose of this study to find out and describe the process of instilling a confident character through dance extracurricular activities in junior high schools. Negeri 46 Palembang. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions based on research results instilling a confident character through dance extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 46 Palembang which uses the drill method in itslearning process. The results of this study are included in the good category because they can find out the various characteristics of students when doing dance movements. This can be seen from the observations of students who achieve well and students who are able to learn traditional dance movements very well. This study takes one character in traditional dance extracurriculars, namely the confident character and does not take all characters.

Abstract

The problem in this study was that many students did not attend extracurricular activities, were often lazy, talked a lot to themselves, and did not listen to the trainer's instructions during the training process. This study aims to find out how well the students' motivation at SMP Negeri 1 Talang Kelapa and students at SMP Negeri 2Talang Kelapa participate in extracurricular futsal. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative survey methods, the total population in this study is 30 students with a sample of 15 students at SMPN 1 Talang Kelapa and 15 students at SMPN 2Talang Kelapa, the instrument used is a questionnaire and the sampling technique isProbability Sampling is one of a sampling technique that provides equal opportunitiesfor each element (member) of the population to be selected as a member of the sample. The results of the research on the motivation of students to take part in Futsal Sports Extracurricular at State Junior High Schools in the Talang Kelapa District have a fairly good effect. 7 people at 23.4%, in the less category as much as 1 person at 3.0%.
