Abstract

Multikulturalisme Islam dijadikan gambaran prinsip secara universal. Prinsip yang dimaksud adalah ta'aruf, tasamuh, dan 'adl. Islam memfokuskan pada rasa hormat yang diberikan terhadap variasi ajaran Ilahi. Namun, tren sosial memperlihatkan beberapa aspek yang cukup tinggi seperti eksklusivisme, intoleransi, dan polarisasi identitas keagamaan. Disebabkan karena pendidikan multikultural dan media digital yang muncul dalam kehidupan manusia. Dalam mengatasi tantangan, perlu adanya implementasi nilai multikultural bagi setiap masyarakat Muslim. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis sastra menggunakan literature terdahulu. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan adanya pengembangan dalam edukasi multikultural yang difokuskan secara Islam diperlukan sebagai upaya yang cukup strategis. Selanjutnya, diperlukan adanya penafsiran pada teks agama dan peran ulama dalam mengajarkan agama Islam kepada masyarakat. Literasi digital memainkan peran yang penting dalam membentuk komunitas Islam secara inklusif dan dialogis. Sehingga, multikulturalisme mampu membentuk komunitas Islam dengan keberagaman yang berkaitan dengan fenomena sosial dan wujud aktual berdasarkan ajaran profetik. Dalam hal ini, fokus utama adalah pada kondisi adanya tantangan kemanusiaan, kesetaraan dan transendensi pada hidup yang kontemporer.

Abstract

Pembelajaran dengan kegiatan outing class merupakan salah satu cara untuk mendekatkan anak-anak dengan kehidupan nyata, yaitu lingkungan sosial, yang kemudian berdampak positif pada kemajuan mereka secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kegiatan outing class dalam membangun emosi positif anak. Selain itu, penelitian ini berfokus pada emosi kegembiraan yang mengkodekan pembentukan emosi positif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekspresi emosi di lingkungan sekolah berkaitan dengan penyesuaian akademik, dengan emosi positif mendorong penerimaan dan keterlibatan teman sebaya, sementara emosi negatif berkorelasi dengan konflik dan prestasi akademik yang lebih rendah. Selain perkembangan fisik dan kognitif, pengalaman outing class dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan emosional anak (mengalami berbagai emosi positif), mulai dari merasa tenang dan rileks hingga bersemangat dan gembira. Lingkungan outing class adalah lingkungan yang merangsang sensorik, yang mengarah pada rasa ingin tahu dan dapat memberikan rasa hidup kepada anak-anak yang ingin meningkatkan keterampilan mereka. Wilayah outing class merupakan ekspresi sempurna dari kekayaan kognitif, lebih kompleks, jauh melampaui apa yang terbaik di dalam kelas, dapat memfasilitasi emosi positif anak.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Islamic education in shaping multicultural attitudes within Indonesia, a nation characterized by rich cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity. Although Indonesia upholds the national motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity), challenges such as discrimination and intolerance continue to emerge as a result of primordial and exclusivist attitudes. Islamic education holds significant potential to cultivate multicultural values such as justice, tolerance, brotherhood, and respect for social plurality by integrating these principles into both the curriculum and classroom practices. Multicultural-oriented learning in madrasahs, implemented through contextual approaches, cross-cultural studies, and value-based instruction, functions as a moral mediation space and contributes to the development of an inclusive learning culture. This includes linking Qur’anic teachings on justice and compassion to real-life social issues. Teachers of Islamic Education (PAI) play a pivotal role as role models and agents of moderation, fostering tolerance and justice through social engagement and exemplary conduct. Foundational values such as justice (‘adl), brotherhood (ukhuwwah), compassion (rahmah), and respect for human dignity (karāmah insāniyyah), derived from the Qur’an and Hadith, serve as essential pillars for building a harmonious and inclusive society.Through adaptive curriculum design and participatory teaching methods, Islamic education can effectively nurture social competencies grounded in empathy and tolerance. As a result, younger generations are better equipped to live harmoniously within a multicultural society and to strengthen national unity and social justice in Indonesia.

Abstract

Prophetic thinking from the perspectives of Kuntowijoyo and Musa Asy’arie needs to be re-examined to ensure its relevance in strengthening multicultural awareness through Islamic education strategies in the contemporary era. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach using descriptive-analytical analysis by examining various scholarly sources related to prophetic thinking and its application in Islamic education. The findings indicate that prophetic thinking which grounded in three core dimensions, namely humanization, liberation, and transcendence, as well as three fundamental principles : integrative, reflective, and transformational can serve as a moral and spiritual paradigm for developing inclusive and multicultural Islamic education. Educational strategies based on prophetic values can be internalized through curriculum design, teacher role modeling, and learning processes oriented toward the common good (maslahah) of the community. The formulation of an integrated framework between prophetic thinking and Islamic education thus represents an applicative strategy for fostering tolerant, just, and civilized multicultural awareness within a global society.

Abstract

The acculturation process is a crucial part of the life of new female santri who enter the pesantren environment. They must adjust to various cultures, norms, and values that are different from those they bring from home. Acculturation stress often arises due to these differences, which can affect their ability to adapt to the new environment. This study aims to analyze the effect of acculturation stress on the self-adjustment process of new female santri in Islamic religious education. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a survey, which involves a number of new female santri from several pesantren as samples. The results showed that the level of acculturation stress experienced by santri was quite high and had a significant influence on their self-adjustment process. A good adjustment process is proven to improve the mental well-being and academic success of santri. Therefore, it is important to provide appropriate support to manage acculturation stress, so that students can adapt better. This study recommends the need for assistance programs that can help santri in overcoming acculturation stress and facilitate their adaptation process in pesantren. Thus, the mental well-being and academic achievement of santri will be better ensured.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of parental neglect on children's learning motivation at TPQ Barokah, Gonilan Village, Kartasura District. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The research subjects included children studying at the TPQ Barokah, their parents, and teachers. The findings indicate that a lack of parental attention, such as minimal involvement in learning activities, absence of guidance during tasks, and poor communication between parents and children, contributes to a decline in children's learning motivation. Children who receive less attention tend to exhibit low levels of participation in learning, lack discipline, and have lower self-confidence in the learning process. Conversely, consistent parental attention significantly enhances children's enthusiasm and interest in learning, both at home and in the TPQ Barokah environment. This study highlights the crucial role of parental involvement as a key factor in supporting children's educational success. The findings recommend increasing parental awareness of their role in supporting children's education and fostering closer collaboration between educational institutions and families to create a more supportive learning environment.

Abstract

Formal education in Indonesia. In the context of Islamic education, Tahfidz is a mandatory subject in several Islamic-based schools and Islamic boarding schools. This research aims to find out the extent to which the use of the Educaplay website influences increasing the learning motivation of student students at the ITS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Student Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren Mahasiswa). Educaplay is a web-based learning platform that offers various types of interactive media to support the learning process, such as quizzes, puzzles and other educational games. This research uses quantitative methods with a pre-experimental design and uses descriptive statistical analysis, involving a sample of Pesantren Mahasiswa ITS PKU Muhammdiyah Surakarta students. Data was collected through a questionnaire that measured the level of learning motivation after using Educaplay. The results of the research show that there is an increasing effect on students' learning motivation after using Educaplay, especially in terms of involvement and desire to learn more actively. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of Educaplay has a positive impact on student motivation to study at Pesantren Mahasiswa ITS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta, so that it can be a more interesting and effective alternative learning method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami proses pembentukan identitas santri tingkat akhir di Pondok Pesantren Modern Islam Assalaam melalui internalisasi nilai Islam, dinamika kehidupan berasrama, serta pendampingan pembina. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap santri kelas XII serta para pembina. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa santri tingkat akhir berada pada fase pencarian identitas yang kompleks, ditandai oleh pergulatan antara tuntutan akademik, tanggung jawab sosial, dan orientasi masa depan. Lingkungan pesantren berkontribusi signifikan melalui rutinitas ibadah, disiplin, hubungan sosial, serta peran-peran kepemimpinan yang diberikan kepada santri senior. Selain itu, pembina berperan penting dalam memberikan arahan, dukungan emosional, dan penguatan spiritual sehingga membantu santri menata kembali arah hidup dan nilai diri mereka. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pesantren modern merupakan ekosistem pendidikan yang efektif dalam membentuk identitas religius, moral, dan psikososial santri secara komprehensif.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) on social interactions and academic performance among students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gatak Program Khusus. The rapid growth of social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp has led to increased anxiety among students who fear missing out on social trends and activities, which in turn affects their social behavior and academic engagement. This qualitative study, using interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, reveals that FOMO significantly disrupts face-to-face interactions and decreases focus on academic tasks. However, FOMO also has a positive aspect when students apply it to competitive extracurricular activities. The study emphasizes the need for schools to implement educational programs that promote healthy social media use, improve offline social interactions, and create policies to help students balance online engagement with academic focus. The findings underline the importance of managing FOMO for both social well-being and academic success. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) terhadap interaksi sosial dan prestasi akademik siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gatak Program Khusus. Pertumbuhan pesat platform media sosial seperti Instagram, TikTok, dan WhatsApp telah menyebabkan kecemasan di kalangan siswa yang takut ketinggalan tren dan aktivitas sosial, yang pada gilirannya memengaruhi perilaku sosial dan keterlibatan akademik mereka. Penelitian kualitatif ini, yang menggunakan wawancara, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumentasi, mengungkapkan bahwa FOMO secara signifikan mengganggu interaksi tatap muka dan mengurangi fokus pada tugas akademik. Namun, FOMO juga memiliki sisi positif ketika siswa mengarahkannya pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kompetitif. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya sekolah untuk mengimplementasikan program pendidikan yang mempromosikan penggunaan media sosial yang sehat, meningkatkan interaksi sosial offline, dan menciptakan kebijakan yang membantu siswa menyeimbangkan keterlibatan online dengan fokus akademik. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mengelola FOMO untuk kesejahteraan sosial dan kesuksesan akademik.

Abstract

The aging population in Indonesia has triggered an urgent need for community-based elderly services that focus not only on physical health but also on psychological well-being. This study aims to explore the program strategies of the Elderly School of ‘Aisyiyah (ESA) Surakarta in meeting the socioemotional needs of the elderly and to analyze implementation challenges through the lens of Socioemotional Selectivity Theory (SST). This research employed a qualitative method with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with program managers and intensive observation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results indicate that ESA applies a flexible curriculum strategy integrated into four main pillars: Religion, Psychology, Health, and Arts and Sports. This strategy effectively facilitates the transition of elderly motivation from knowledge-related goals to emotion-related goals. This success is empirically validated through the phenomenon of color psychology, where a shift in participants' artwork preferences occurred from the spectrum of excitement (red-yellow) to the spectrum of tranquility (green-blue). However, program implementation faces internal challenges such as physical degradation, situational depression, and post-power syndrome resistance. This study concludes that a personalized approach adaptive to the elderly's perceived remaining time is the key to achieving inner peace and husnul khotimah. ABSTRAK Penuaan populasi di Indonesia memicu urgensi layanan lansia berbasis komunitas yang tidak hanya berfokus pada fisik, tetapi juga kesejahteraan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi program Elderly School of ‘Aisyiyah (ESA) Surakarta dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sosioemosional lansia serta membedah tantangan implementasinya melalui lensa Socioemotional Selectivity Theory (SST). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap pengelola program dan diobservasi secara intensif, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ESA menerapkan strategi kurikulum fleksibel yang terintegrasi dalam empat pilar utama: Agama, Psikologi, Kesehatan, serta Seni dan Olahraga. Strategi ini terbukti efektif memfasilitasi transisi motivasi lansia dari tujuan berbasis pengetahuan (knowledge-related goals) menuju tujuan berbasis emosi (emotion-related goals). Keberhasilan ini tervalidasi secara empiris melalui fenomena psikologi warna, di mana terjadi pergeseran preferensi karya seni peserta dari spektrum gairah (merah-kuning) menuju spektrum ketenangan (hijau-biru). Meskipun demikian, implementasi program menghadapi tantangan internal berupa degradasi fisik, depresi situasional, dan resistensi post-power syndrome. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan personalisasi yang adaptif terhadap sisa waktu hidup lansia adalah kunci utama dalam mewujudkan ketenangan batin dan husnul khotimah.
