Abstract

Character education is part of the education process. The Covid pandemic requires students to study from home resulting in neglecting the cultivation of independent characters so that they experience obstacles during post-pandemic meetings. This study aims to analyse civilizing independent character in Mathematics learning activities at the post-pandemic meeting at elementary school. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The subject of study are the principal, teachers and students. Data collection techniques through documentation, interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques through reduction, display, conclusion and verification. Validity test using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that teacher activities cultivate independent characters in post-pandemic mathematics learning meetings through initial activities during apperception, core activities by 1) Using methods according to the material, 2) Getting students used to being involved in the learning process, 3) Familiarizing students independently in solving problems and closing by providing motivation foster independence.

Abstract

During the learning process students do not participate and do not study well. Teachers need better learning with steps to increase motivation. Visual media can be a solution to increase student motivation. The aim of this study is to analyses the use of visual media in learning thematic in grade VI along with the obstacles and solutions done by the teacher. The subjects of this study were students, teachers and principals of elementary school. This method uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study use the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The validity test of the data used is technique triangulation and source triangulation. The research shows that the use of visual media in thematic learning in class VI consists of planning, implementation and evaluation. The obstacle that faced by teachers during the process of using visual media in thematic learning, namely learning media is incomplete or limited , lack of participation of parents and students which not enough understand theory which be delivered by teacher. The solution to overcome the problem of using visual media in thematic learning is to create interactive and attractive teaching materials and build communication between teachers and students.

Abstract

Ujaran ekspresif merupakan kategori tuturan yang berguna untuk mengutarakan sikap mental pembicara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi tuturan ekspresif dalam webseries “Sore: Istri dari Masa Depan” dan relevansinya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia SMA. Data bersumber dari webseries “Sore: Istri dari Masa Depan” dalam kanal YouTube Tropicana Slim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berwujud simak dan catat. Menyimak dilakukan guna menyusun transkripsi seri, sedangkan catat dengan mencatat tuturan yang diduga sebagai data dalam tabel klasifikasi pada lembar kerja komputer. Teknik analisis data ialah metode agih dengan teknik dasar teknik bagi unsur langsung dan teknik lanjutan ialah baca markah. Setelah dilakukan analisis menggunakan komponen tutur SPEAKING kemudian diurai bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif dengan teknik baca markah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tuturan ekspresif terdiri atas bentuk langsung literal sebanyak 36 data, terbagi dalam fungsi diantaranya 5 memuji, 4 berterima kasih, 10 marah, 8 mengkritik, 6 meminta maaf, 2 mengeluh, dan 1 menyalahkan serta tidak langsung tidak literal berupa 9 data ekspresif marah. Hasil temuan kemudian direlevansikan dengan materi ajar berupa pembuatan skenario pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia SMA kelas XI dalam KD 3.19 menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan film/drama yang dibaca atau ditonton mengenakan pendekatan saintifik dan mengaplikasikan model Problem Based Learning (PBL).

Abstract

Numeracy literacy skills in learning mathematics in elementary schools are still low. This is evident from the AKM value, which is still below average. This low numeracy literacy ability is caused by various things, such as the teacher's lack of ability to make HOTS questions and the lack of habituation for students to work on complex. The main problem that causes students to be still unable to complete learning based on numeracy literacy is the teacher who has not familiarized students with literacy-based questions. Many teachers still cannot compile numeracy literacy questions, especially at the elementary school level. This research is qualitative research with a case study. The results of this research are planning for curricular activities in cultivating numeracy literacy carried out by compiling a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), compiling numeracy literacy-oriented learning materials, compiling numeration literacy-oriented evaluation questions with the criteria of Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS), and designing audio-visual and realistic learning media.

Abstract

Language, besides being a means of communication, is also a form of culture and the identity of a group. Language can be used to identify groups with one another. The importance of using language in a group has prompted the government to issue policies that encourage Indonesians to use Indonesian in public spaces. One of them is Presidential Regulation Number 63 of 2019 Article 33 concerning the use of the Indonesian language stipulating that buildings or buildings erected must use the Indonesian language. Yogyakarta as an area that has become a tourist destination has many five-star hotels. However, some naming star hotels in Yogyakarta are not in accordance with Presidential Regulation Article 33 Number 63 of 2019. The purpose of this study is to identify how many star hotels in Yogyakarta have their names according to policy, identify what language is often used in naming star hotels in Yogyakarta, and find the meaning of the name of the hotel. This research method uses a combined method with a sequential explanatory strategy, the first stage of research uses a quantitative descriptive method and continues with a qualitative method. The results of the study, if a word-by-word analysis was carried out, the most hotel names used Indonesian. If analyzed according to language variations, hotel names mostly use variations of Indonesian and foreign names. The meanings contained in many hotel names indicate visual beauty, luxury, and good service.Bahasa selain alat berkomunikasi juga merupakan bentuk kebudayaan dan identitas suatu kelompok. Bahasa dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kelompok satu dengan yang lainnya. Pentingnya penggunaan bahasa dalam suatu kelompok membuat pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan yang mendorong masyarakat Indonesia untuk menggunakan bahasa Indonesia di ruang publik.  Salah satunya adalah Peraturan Presiden Nomor 63 Tahun 2019 Pasal 33 tentang penggunaan bahasa Indonesia menetapkan bahwa gedung atau bangunan yang didirikan harus menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Yogyakarta sebagai daerah yang banyak menjadi tujuan wisata memiliki banyak hotel berbintang.  Namun, beberapa penamaan hotel berbintang di Yogyakarta  tidak sesuai dengan  Peraturan Presiden Pasal 33 Nomor 63 Tahun 2019.  Tujuan  penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi seberapa banyak hotel berbintang di Yogyakarta yang penamaannya telah sesuai kebijakan, mengidentifikasi bahasa apa yang sering digunakan dalam penamaan hotel berbintang di Yogyakarta, dan menemukan makna nama hotel tersebut. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode gabungan  dengan strategi  eksplanatoris sekuensial, penelitian tahap pertama menggunakan metode deskripstif kuantitatif dan dilanjutkan dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian jika dilakukan analisis kata per kata, nama hotel paling banyak menggunakan bahasa Indonesia. Jika dianalisis sesuai variasi bahasa, nama hotel paling banyak menggunakan variasi nama bahasa Indonesia dengan asing. Makna  yang terdapat pada nama hotel banyak yang menunjukkan keindahan visual, kemewahan, dan pelayanan yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to improve reading skills and how to improve students' reading skills using the cooperative script method at SDN 3 Krobokan semester 1 of the 2021/2022 academic year. This research method uses classroom action research (CAR) in which this research is carried out in stages and multicycles in order to obtain valid data. The steps for implementing CAR are research planning, research implementation, observation of results, and reflection. This research was conducted in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 3 Krobokan, Juwangi District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Krobokan, in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 14 students, of which 6 of the 14 students were male, and 8 other students were female. The results of this study are to improve the reading skills of fourth graders, it is necessary to apply a cooperative script learning model. Because this model requires students to play an active role in the group learning process. This learning model requires students to pair up and also exchange information from the texts they have read, so that their reading skills can unconsciously develop. Judging from the results of the cycle test the implementation of the cooperative script model experienced a significant increase, namely, the average value before the implementation of the cooperative script model was 46.42. After the researchers conducted research in cycle 1, the average value of the fourth graders rose to 77.85. After the first cycle research was successful, the researcher continued the second cycle research, namely, to cycle 2 students' reading skills also increased, namely, the average value became 86.42.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the form of lingual markers and da'wah messages that exist in the dialogue of the film "Ustad Millenial". The study used a qualitative descriptive method. The data source of this research is the dialogue of the film "Ustad Millenial". The research data are oral data containing lingual markers which include da'wah messages in the dialogue of the film "Ustad Millenial". The data collection technique used in this study is the note-taking technique. Data was collected and recorded then recorded and then identified. The next step is the data is grouped based on their respective categories according to the existing theory. The results of this study indicate the lingual markers of da'wah messages that exist in the dialogue of the film "Ustad Millenial". Lingual markers are one of the branches of pragmatic studies. Where in this study learn about the structure of language related to how a language is used in communication. The conclusions of the lingual markers of da'wah messages in the film "Ustad Millenial" are divided into 6 categories, namely assertive, directive, commissive, declarative, rogative, expressive speech acts.

Abstract

Javanese is the regional language with the most speakers in Indonesia and needs to be preserved, because it is the main element in a culture. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the form of preservation of the Javanese language in elementary schools. The method in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and tests. The results of the research show that the form of preservation of the Javanese language is carried out by schools in two ways. First, through learning Javanese and Javanese Voice Arts, as well as through Javanese language habituation this is carried out every Thursday. The students' Javanese language skills were divided into two, out of a total of 10 students there were 60% who mastered Javanese according to their level when communicating, while 40% of students had not mastered Javanese according to their level when communicating. The large percentage of students who master the Javanese language according to the rules illustrates that learning and habituating Javanese at school can be used as a means of preserving Javanese and developing Javanese language skills in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan variasi tugas dan aktivitas pembelajaran dalam masa pandemi korona. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menghasilkan data deskripsi berupa deskripsi variasi tugas dan aktivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMKN 9 Surakarta dalam masa pandemi korona, dampak, dan kendala dari variasi tugas dan aktivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMKN 9 Surakarta dalam masa pandemi korona bagi siswa dan guru. Pemeroleh data dengan metode wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data dalam studi ini menggunakan model interaktif. Analisis data dengan model interaktif dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yang meliputi: reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Variasi tugas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMKN 9 Surakarta dalam masa pandemi korona bervariatif. Variasi tugas tersebut antara lain mencari sebuah puisi yang berkaitan dengan pademi corana di internet, pembacaan sebuah puisi, mecari drama di internet maupun menonton drama di YouTube, dan memrankan tokoh drama sesuai dengan karakernnya. (2) Aktivitas  pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMKN 9 Surakarta dalam masa pandemi korona sangat beragam. Aktivitas yang dilakukan siswa dengan guru yaitu dengan memanfaatkan media internet, YouTube,  WhatsApp dan google classroom.

Abstract

Gerakan literasi saat ini menjadi salah satu tujuan yang dianggap penting dalam pencapaian pendidikan di Indonesia. Literasi sering dikaitkan dengan kemampuan membaca dan menulis, meskipun begitu literasi juga diartikan sebagai kemampuan seseorang dalam memahami apa isi bacaan yang dibaca. Kemampuan membaca dan menulis menjadi kemampuan dasar yang harus dikuasi oleh siswa Sekolah Dasar. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis siswa diperlukan bimbingan atau latihan secara rutin sehingga kemampuan tersebut akan terasah dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah literasi membaca dan menulis siswa SD Negeri Patihan 1 melalui kegiatan Lakusi (Latihan Khusus Literasi). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi serta dokumentasi dengan subjek siswa SD Negeri Patihan 1. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa SD Negeri Patihan 1 serta meningkatnya jumlah rata-rata literasi siswa pada test AKM.
