Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) in Indonesia emphasizes flexibility, contextualization, and competency-based learning. However, many elementary school teachers, particularly in Madiun Regency, still rely on generic and non-digital materials that fail to represent local socio-ecological realities. This study aims to develop and validate digital teaching materials for Integrated Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) based on Madiun’s ethnoecology to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile. Using the Research and Development (R&D) approach adapted from Gall, Gall, and Borg (2007), the research involved students from grades I and IV in selected elementary schools through purposive sampling. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The results show that the developed materials are valid, practical, and effective in improving learning outcomes and fostering critical thinking, environmental awareness, and cooperative values. Students demonstrated increased engagement and conceptual understanding when interacting with digital modules that featured local wisdom such as farming traditions, forest management, and water conservation. Theoretically, this study contributes to the framework of culturally responsive and technology-integrated science education. Its novelty lies in combining IPAS, ethnoecology, digital learning, and Pancasila-based pedagogy, a synthesis that has rarely been explored, especially in elementary education. The findings suggest that integrating local ecological knowledge with digital pedagogy can enhance contextual, meaningful, and character-oriented learning experiences aligned with the goals of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the skills of people with disabilities in the Batik Ciprat Langitan community in utilizing digital technology through the e-IM3 edu application. Situational analysis shows that the group of people with disabilities who are members of the Sheltered Workshop Peduli Sambung Roso already have good batik skills but are hampered in production management, recording work results, and online product marketing. The activity methods include socialization, application usage training, practical assistance, and evaluation of digital skill improvement. After receiving e-IM3 edu training, which includes the concept of color mixing and the decision-making system regarding which colors to use for batik production, the activity results show an 80% increase in participants' digital skills and an increase in the quality of production and marketing of ciprat batik products. People with disabilities who initially only mixed basic colors in inconsistent measurements or by estimation, became more careful and consistent so that the resulting color in one production run can be consistent. This training has a positive impact on the economic independence of people with disabilities and strengthens the model of inclusive technology-based social enterprises.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of the RANCAKA (National Learning Space for Love of Javanese Script) application based on digital literacy as a learning medium for Javanese script and sandhangan for fourth-grade elementary school students. The background of the study is based on the problem that Javanese language learning is still dominated by conventional methods, the media used are not varied, and students’ understanding and interest in Javanese script and sandhangan are low. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The trial subjects were fourth-grade students of SDN 02 Madiun Lor. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and validation questionnaires, and analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results show that the RANCAKA application meets the feasibility criteria with material expert validation percentage of 92% (Very Feasible), language expert 81.82% (Very Feasible), and media experts 78% (worthy), with an overall average of 83.94% (very worthy). Student responses to the use of the application were also very positive, namely 93.3% in individual tests, 90% in small group tests, and 88% in field trials. Based on these results, it is concluded that the RANCAKA application based on digital literacy is feasible, practical, and effective to use as a learning medium for Javanese script and sandhangan, and can support the development of digital literacy skills for elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of project-based digital media through the use of flipbooks in Indonesian language learning, particularly speech texts, and to analyze its impact on improving students' reading skills. The study was conducted using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach in two cycles in fifth-grade students at SDN Balerejo 02, Madiun Regency. In Cycles I and II, learning was conducted using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model with the aid of flipbooks as digital media. Through project-based activities, students read and comprehend speech texts, then work on predetermined projects in groups. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, documentation, and assessment tests. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative data were analyzed through observation and interviews, while quantitative data were analyzed by comparing student test results between cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results showed that in cycle 1, 53% of students achieved completion, while in cycle 2 it increased to 80%, with 100% completion in group assessment. This study shows that the implementation of project-based digital media through the use of flipbooks is effective in improving students' reading skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using picture card media with a cooperative approach in improving science and social studies (IPAS) learning outcomes on landform materials for third-grade students of SDN 3 Sawoo. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis McTaggart model conducted in two cycles, involving 29 third-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes after the application of picture card media with a cooperative approach, with the average score increasing from 56.55 in the pre-cycle to 71.03 in cycle I and 83.79 in cycle II, with learning mastery increasing from 31.00% to 72.41% and 86.21%. The use of picture card media helps students visualize types of landforms, while the cooperative approach encourages active student participation, collaboration, and communication. The Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type was found to be more effective than Think-Pair-Share (TPS) in this context. Therefore, picture card media with a cooperative approach is recommended as an innovative learning strategy to improve the quality of IPAS learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstract: One of the efforts to improve the language skills of fourth grade students is through the introduction of literature in the form of poetry. However, in practice, many students still have difficulty writing poetry, so that the learning outcomes on the material have not reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). This study aims to describe the application of the Quantum Teaching method with pictorial and audiovisual media and to describe the improvement in the poetry writing skills of fourth grade students of SDN 2 Blembem, Jambon District, Ponorogo Regency. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles on 11 students from March to June 2026. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages, with the application of the TANDUR syntax (Grow, Experience, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, Celebrate). Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests, then analyzed on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The results of the study showed a significant increase: the average cognitive score increased from 56 in cycle I to 86 in cycle II, affective from 60 to 89, and psychomotor from 65 to 93, with classical learning completion increasing from 55% to 100%. It was concluded that the application of the Quantum Teaching method with pictorial and audiovisual media effectively improved the poetry writing ability of fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Blembem.
