Abstract

This study aims to analyze the metamorphic sentences contained in popular folk songs in Indonesia. "Jujung Goar Hi Amang" is a Batak Toba literary song that is popular especially among the Batak community. This tune has been extensively performed each at large-scale live shows, famous film soundtracks, and the range of views that exceed four hundred thousand perspectives at the YouTube channel. The meaning of metamorphic sentences in this track includes Toba Batak's cultural values that are represented in metamorphic sentences which whilst analyzed have a totally deep that means, both in phrases of translation that means, cultural tradition, and moral messages. The lyrics of this tune have been created in accordance with emotional expressions that even constitute the life of Batak mother and father who are liable for their children in popular. Keywords:  Metamorphic Analysis, Batak Toba,  Portray of  Parents, Literary Studies

Abstract

Dominasi laki-laki terhadap wanita telah mempengaruhi sastra. Perbedaan visi penulis laki-laki dan wanita memiliki daya kontra satu sama lain yang akhirnya menimbulkan persoalan gender.  Seberapa jauh kodrat fiksional teks-teks sastra yang dihasilkan pengarang dipengaruhi keadaan budaya mereka. Pada perkembangan saat ini, sebagian masyarakat masih berasumsi feminisme adalah gerakan pemberontakan kaum perempuan terhadap kaum laki laki. Feminisme dianggap sebagai usaha pemberontakan kaum perempuan untuk mengingkari apa yang disebut sebagai kodrat atau fitrah perempuan melawan pranata sosial yang ada atau institusi rumah tangga, seperti perkawinan dan lain sebagainya Kaum feminisme memiliki suatu ideologi yang menerapkan paham feminisme untuk memberdayakan wanita. Wanita sebagai sesama makhluk Tuhan yang mempunyai martabat yang sama dengan laki-laki dan ingin mendapat perlakuan yang adil. Penelitian ini bertujuan ingin mengkaji karya sastra puisi yang mengusung aliran feminisme dengan menggunakan teori analisis feminisme. Analisis yang dilakukan bukan hanya menelaah konteks dalam lirik puisi tapi juga latar belakang budaya pengarangnya, sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan apakah budaya dapat mempengaruhi gaya bahasa dalam karya sastra.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the Chinese language teaching materials for students of business and management majors in a vocational high school. This research method was qualitative. The process of collecting data used observation activities, interviews and questionnaires. This study found that the Chinese teaching materials which have been used in a vocational high school especially in business and management majors were still general and not relevant to the needs of students. The results of this study also indicated that the expected design of Chinese language teaching materials should be specifically integrated to the students’ majors and the competency levels of their expertise. In addition, the teaching materials also should be designed with multimedia to support the learning process and students’ experiences.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan model materi ajar bahasa Mandarin untuk Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bidang Bisnis dan Manajemen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan proses pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Melalui penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa materi ajar bahasa Mandarin yang selama ini digunakan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bidang Bisnis dan Manajemen merupakan materi ajar yang bersifat umum dan belum memenuhi kebutuhan siswa. Hasil dari analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa materi ajar bahasa Mandarin yang diharapkan adalah materi ajar yang terintegrasi dan relevan dengan bidang dan program studi siswa sehingga dapat mendukung keahlian utamanya. Terlebih lagi materi ajar bahasa Mandarin yang diharapkan saat ini adalah materi ajar yang dikemas dengan basis multimedia.

Abstract

metaphoric language affect students in improving their poetry writing skills. By taking randomly 176 samples from a student population of 314, data were collected through 3 types of tests and were analyzed by a regression test. The results show that the ability to think creatively has an effect on improving the students' poetry writing skills by 72.9% while the ability to use metaphoric language has an effect of 7.30% on their poetry writing skills. The implications that these effects provide cognitive and practical benefits are also discussed.

Abstract

This research examined the main female character in the movie "Arrival" by Eric Heisserer. The focus of this research was to know the form of personality, desire, the fulfillment of desires, and to find out psychic conflict that is experienced by her by using the theory of Freud and Lacan. The research applied qualitative method by doing steps of using data collection, data analysis, and data presentation. The results show that Dr. Louise Bank has a different woman personality from other women in general, where Id dominates some of the behaviors shown her. Her desire is always followed by an effort in fulfilling; it is shown by Dr. Louise Bank who can use her intuitive, logical mind well to find some ways and solutions in the process of solving it. The most prevalent psychic conflicts in her are the fear and anxiety of new experiences and glance of visions that always keep her in an unpleasant state or condition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam mengenai pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam tuturan diskusi kelas Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan metode analisis isi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik rekam dan catat. Kemudian menemukan pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam tuturan diskusi kelas bahasa Indonesia dan dianalisis sesuai teori yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) pelanggaran maksim kuantitas sebanyak 7 tuturan (16%), (2) pelanggaran maksim kualitas sebanyak 5 tuturan (12%), (3) pelanggaran maksim relasi sebanyak 17 tuturan (39%), dan (4) pelanggaran maksim cara sebanyak 14 tuturan (33%). Tuturan-tuturan dalam diskusi kelas bahasa Indonesia yang melanggar prinsip kerja sama ini menjadikan tidak terjalinnya komunikasi yang baik sehingga diskusi yang terjadi kurang efektif. Hal ini dipicu karena beberapa hal seperti adanya rasa kurang percaya diri dari penutur atau lawan tutur, ingin menunjukan kelucuan yang membuat suasana diskusi menjadi tidak monoton, kurang paham dan tidak tuntasnya di dalam memberikan tanggapan saat berdiskusi.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian adalah mengumpulkan informasi berkenaan dengan evaluasi kualitas pembelajaran bahasa di SMA. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei deskriptif dan evaluative denganmodel evaluasi countenance stake (antecedents, transactions, dan outcomes) dengan jumlah responden 80. Data diperoleh menggunakan angket dan pengolahan data menggunakan analisis statistik. Hasil penelitian yaita^4ntecendents atau persiapan pembelajaran bahasa. Frekuensi responden yang memilih kata Selalu 36,5 % atau 175 Frekuensi, kata sering 20,4 % atau 98 Frekuensi, kata kadang-kiadang 27,7% atau 133 Frekuensi, jarang 45 frekuensi atau 9,4% dan tidak pernah 29 Frekuensi atau 6.0 % dengan total frekuensi 480. Transaction atau proses berlangsung pembelajaran bahasa .Frekuensi responden yang memilih kata Selalu 42,7 % atau 546 Frekuensi, kata Sering 19.9 % atau 255 Frekuensi, kata Kadang-kcadang 179% atau 229 Frekuensi, Jarang 10,5 % atau 134 frekuensi dan Tidak pernah 9.1% atau 116 Frekuensi dengan total frekuensi 1280. Outcomes/guru bahasa menutup pembelajaran. Frekuensi responden yang memilih kata Selalu 48.0 % atau 307 Frekuensi, kata Sering 24,4 % atau 156 Frekuensi, kata KadangTiadang 18.1% atau 24,4 Frekuensi', kata Jarang 5,9 % atau 38 frekuensi dan Tidak pernah 3,6.% atau 23 Frekuensi dengan total frekuensi 640' hasil analisis evaluasi countenance stake disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi kualitas pembelajaran bahasa mulai dari persiapan pembelajaran, keberlangsungan kegiatan inti dan menutup pembelajaran yaitu diperoleh data statistic rata-rata 430 frekuensi atau 30,5% dari total 1410 frekuensi dari responden yang menyatakan/memilih selalu mengerjakan tiga fase dalam pembelajaran bahasa (Indonesia, Inggris dan Asing) artinya guru bahasa masih perlu meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan mengajar melalui pelatihan pembelajaran, kebiasaan pnlaku positif, integritas, komitmen dalam menjalan kewajiban sebagai guru bahasa yang professional yang berdampak pada kualitas pencapaian hasil belajar bahasa. Kata Kunci: antecedents, transactions, dan outcomes Abstract The research objective obtained information with regard to the evaluation of the quality of language learning in high school that focused on three indicators of language learning were the preparation before the core of learning, the learning process of learning takes place and when it closed. The approach used in this research was descriptive and evaluative survey. The method used was program evaluation. Model evaluation model used countenance stake (antecedents, transactions, and outcomes) by the number of respondents 80. The data were obtained using a questionnaire and data processing using statistical analysis. The research results concluded that, Antecedents or preparation of language learning. Frequency of respondents who has chosen the word was always 36.5% or 175 frequency, often said 20.4% or 98 frequency, said sometimes 27.7% or 135 frequency, a frequency rarely 45 or 9.4% and never 29 Frequeny or 6.0% with a totalfrequency 480. Transaction or the process of language learning The frequeny of respondents who has chosen the word was always 42.7% or 546frequeny, said Often 19.9% or 255frequeny, said sometimes 179% or 229 Frequeny, Sparse 10.5% or 134 frequeny and Never 9.1% or 116 frequeny with total frequeny 1280. Outcomes / teacher language learning closes. Frequeny of respondents who has chosen the word was always 48.0% or 307frequency, said Often 24.4% or 156 frequency, said Sometimes 18.1% or 24.4 Frequency ', said Rarely 5.9% or 38 frequencies and Never 3.6% or 23 frequencies with a totalfrequeny of 640. So based on the analysis results of stake countenance evaluation concluded that the evaluation of the quality of language learningfrom the lesson preparation, the continuity of core activities and close the learning that was obtained statistical data on average 430frequeny or 30.5% of the total in 1410 the frequeny of respondents who expressed three steps in learning language (Indonesian, English and foreign) language teachers means they need to improve teaching skills through training and learning, positive behavior habits, integrity, commitment to running the obligation as a professional language teachers who have an impact on the quality of language learning achievement. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh penggambaran mendalam mengenai aktualisasi diri pada tokoh utama dalam novel Pasung Jiwa karya Okky Madasari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi dengan pendekatan struktural dan psikoanalisis sastra. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka, observasi tentang aktualisasi diri dalam novel, dan dianalisis dengan memanfaatkan ulasan novel serta wawancara. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tujuh langkah, yaitu: (1) Membaca novel Pasung Jiwa. (2) Mencari fenomena menarik dalam isi cerita. (3) Menetapkan aktualisasi diri pada tokoh utama sebagai fokus penelitian. (4) Menetapkan novel Pasung Jiwa karya Okky Madasari sebagai sumber data penelitian. (5) Menetapkan analisis isi sebagai metode penelitian. (6) Menetapkan pendekatan struktural dan pendekatan psikoanalisis sastra sebagai pendekatan penelitian. (7) Melakukan studi pustaka, dan pengamatan aktualisasi diri pada tokoh utama. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Sasana (Sasa) dan Jaka Wani (Cak Jek) sebagai tokoh utama mengalami pergulatan batin dan perjuangan mencari kebebasan. Ketidakseimbangan struktur kepribadian id, ego, dan superego tokoh utama mengarahkan pada kebutuhan aktualisasi diri. Terpenuhinya aktualisasi diri pada tokoh utama karena adanya keinginan dan potensi menjadi pribadi kreatif dan bebas. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan keenam kebutuhan yang memotivasi tokoh utama, yaitu kebutuhan fisiologis, kebutuhan akan keamanan, kebutuhan akan rasa cinta dan memiliki-dimiliki, kebutuhan akan penghargaan, kebutuhan aktualisasi diri, dan kebutuhan transendental diri. Di samping kebutuhan aktualisasi diri, ditemukan dua jenis hambatan, yaitu dari diri sendiri dan dari lingkungan. Selain itu, ditemukan pula lima belas karakteristik aktualisasi diri. Temuan penelitian direkomendasikan kepada pengajar sastra, pembaca dan pembelajar sastra, peneliti sastra, dan orang tua.Kata kunci: Novel, Tokoh Utama, Aktualisasi diri, dan Psikoanalisis. AbstractThis research aimed to obtain a deep depiction of self-actualization on the maincharacter in the novel Pasung Jiwa by Okky Madasari. This research is a qualitativeresearch with content analysis method with structural literary approach andpsychoanalytic literary approach. The data were collected through literature studies,data observations about self-actualization in the novel, and were checked with novelreviews as well as interviews. Data collection procedure is done with seven steps,namely: (1) Reading novel Pasung Jiwa. (2) Looking for interesting phenomena instory content. (3) Establish self-actualization on the main figure as the focus ofresearch. (4) Establish the novel Pasung Jiwa by Okky Madasari as a source ofresearch data. (5) Establish content analysis as a research method. (6) Establishing astructural approach and a literary psychoanalytic approach as a research approach.(7) conducting literature study, and self-actualization observation on the maincharacter. The results of this research indicates that Sasana (Sasa) and Jaka Wani(Cak Jek) as the main character who experienced inner struggle and struggle forfreedom. Imbalance of personality structure id, ego, and superego main characterleads to the needs of self-actualization. Fulfillment of self-actualization of the maincharacter because of the desire and potential to be creative and free person. In thisresearch found six needs that motivate the main character, the physiological needs, theneed for security, the need for a sense of love and have-owned, the need forappreciation, needs self-actualization, and transcendence needs. In addition to theneeds of self-actualization, found two types of barriers, namely from self and from theenvironment. In addition, there were also fifteen characteristics of self-actualization.Research findings are recommended to literature teachers, literary readers andlearners, literary researchers, and parents.Keywords: novel, main figure, the needs of self-actualization, and psychoanalysis

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aimed to gain a deep understanding of comparative characterizations, household status, occupation or profession, and socio-cultural background of the third figure women widowed in a collection of short stories (short story), a literary review cross reference. This research seeks to understand the phenomenon of characterizations of women widowed in three short stories that are then compared between the three. Approach this research in the form of a qualitative approach and methods used are content analysis methods. The process of data analysis in this research is not based on an effort to test the hypothesis, but rather attempted to develop a theory or framework of thinking based on the theory of literary sociology, so researchers retain a major role as a tool research. Data sources the study consists of three short stories namely (1) “Namanya, Massa”, by Ratna Indraswari Ibrahim, a short story from Indonesia, (2) “Tarian Hamil dan Penyair Bulan” by Johari Tarif, short stories from Malaysia, (3) and "Norhayati" by Amil Jaya, a short story from Brunei Darussalam. The topic of this research inspired the character equality is in the short story from the collection of short stories in the book Menjenguk Dunia Batin Cerpen Serumpun (MDBCM). The findings of this research in the form of naming differences, education, household status, employment, and socio-cultural background. Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis tugas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman pada siswa kelas X MIPA 1 semester satu tahun ajaran 2019/2020 di SMA Negeri 1 Baros. Subjek dipilih peneliti secara purposif disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil peningkatan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman. Model tindakan yang digunakan adalah model dari Kemmis & Mc Taggart yang menjelaskan satu siklus pembelajaran terdiri dari:1) perencanaan 2). Tindakan 3). Observasi dan 4) refleksi. Metode pengumpulan data berupa lembar pengamatan, dan unjuk kerja keterampilan berbicara. Pada analisis data kualitatif, penulis melakukan pencatatan, mengumpulkan, memilah, mengklasifikasikan, mensintesis dan membuat kesimpulan. Analisis data dengan statistika deskriptif disajikan dalam bentuk tabel atau grafik untuk mengetahui signifikasi perbedaan antara nilai keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman sebelum dan sesudah tindakan dilakukan,. Hasil penelitian pada tahap pra-tindakan menggambarkan capaian belajar siswa 72% tidak tuntas, dan hanya 28% memperoleh skor tuntas. Tahap siklus 1 mendeskripsikan adanya peningkatan yakni 47% siswa tidak tuntas, dan 53% tuntas. Pada siklus 2 terjadi peningkatan yang jauh lebih baik yakni 86% tuntas, dan 14% tidak tuntas. Nilai ketuntasan siswa yang mencapai 86% menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran berbasis tugas dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam berbicara bahasa Jerman.
