Abstract

Rice husk ash (RHA) is an agricultural waste rich in silica with potential as a partial cement substitute in mortar to support sustainable construction. This study evaluates the effect of varying RHA content on the compressive strength and porosity of mortar at 28 and 240 days of age. Mortar was prepared with RHA substitutions of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% by cement weight. Compressive strength was tested according to SK SNI 03-2834-2000, while porosity testing followed ASTM C642 standard. The results showed that 20% RHA substitution provided high compressive strength with acceptable porosity. In contrast, 30% RHA significantly increased porosity and sharply reduced compressive strength. These findings suggest that using RHA in the range of 10–20% can improve material efficiency without compromising mechanical performance. The study supports the development of environmentally friendly construction materials through the optimal use of agricultural waste.

Abstract

Strategi penjadwalan perawatan sistem pendukung mesin utama memiliki peran yang sangat penting demi kelangsungan beroperasinya mesin utama dikapal. Sistem penunjang mesin utama terdiri dari sistem bahan bakar, sistem pelumas, dan sistem pendingin. Oleh karena itu apabila terjadi kegagalan pada salah satu sistemnya, kondisi ini tidak hanya berdampak pada mesin utama tetapi hal ini juga mempengaruhi operasional kapal. Dengan begitu pentingnya peran sistem penunjang mesin utama tentunya membutuhkan suatu penjadwalan perawatan yang baik sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya kegagalan sistem. Dalam penelitian ini dianalisa dan di identifikasi kegiatan penjadwalan preventive maintenance berdasarkan efek perawatan dengan metode dinamika system. Efek perawatan didasarkan pada nilai availability dan keandalan komponen sistem pendukung mesin utama kapal. Penjadwalan perawatan berdasarkan efek perawatan dimodelkan dengan dinamika sistem. Analisa menggunakan Powersim Software dimana hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa komponen yang direkomendasikan untuk melakukan perawatan dengan nilai keandalan 0,55 atau 55% dengan peluang sukses komponen sedikit lebih tinggi dibanding peluang gagalnya. Dan dengan metode Birnbaum’s Criticality Measure dan Veselly Fussel didapatkan hasil untuk sistem bahan bakar komponen filter mempunyai tingkat kekritisan paling tinggi. Untuk sistem pelumas, komponen Oil Filter mempunyai tingkat kekritisan paling tinggi dan untuk sistem pendingin Sea chest filter mempunyai tingkat kekritisan paling tinggi. Semua jadwal perawatan ditentukan berdasarkan keandalan sistem untuk mengurangi biaya perawatan dan dalam rangka untuk menghindari terjadinya kegagalan sistem. Optimasi biaya yang didapatkan untuk sistem bahan bakar sebesar 53%, sistem pelumas sebesar 30% dan sistem pendingin sebesar 36%.

Abstract

The rise of moral degradation among students due to uncontrolled exposure to social media has become a critical challenge in the world of education. This study aims to identify the role of educators in instilling character education to students who experience moral degradation due to technological advances followed by the onslaught of social media. This research was conducted qualitatively using a library research approach by identifying the role, relationship, and impact of social media on the character of students. The results explain that the moral degradation that occurs in students due to the onslaught of social media can be overcome by educators by internalizing the concept of character education in Yusuf Qardhawi's thoughts, namely Rabaniyah, Insaniyah, Syumul, Al-Wasathiyah, and Al Jam'u Baina Ats Tsabat wa Al Murunnah. This research is still very relevant in overcoming moral degradation in the era of social media onslaught with the approach of Yusuf Qardhawi's character education concept.

Abstract

Pengelolaan keuangan yang transparan, efektif, dan efisien merupakan salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh banyak Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), termasuk di Es Teh Melatie Jambi. Penggunaan teknologi informasi yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan keuangan UMKM. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan mengenai penggunaan Sistem Informasi Aplikasi Pencatatan Informasi Keuangan (SIAPIK) yang dikembangkan oleh Bank Indonesia. Pelatihan ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengelola keuangan UMKM dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan aplikasi SIAPIK, guna mencatat transaksi keuangan secara lebih sistematis dan terstruktur. Dengan adanya PKM ini, diharapkan pelaku UMKM di Es Teh Melatie Jambi dapat mengelola keuangan secara lebih transparan, serta meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional usaha mereka. Selain itu, aplikasi SIAPIK juga diharapkan dapat memudahkan pemantauan keuangan dan memperbaiki laporan keuangan yang dapat digunakan untuk perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan bisnis yang lebih baik.

Abstract

West Kalimantan Province has five Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), one of which is the Randayan MPA. It is located in Bengkayang Regency abd was officially established in 2019 through Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat No. 1. One of the mandated activities was public education on conservation, which mostly targeted adults whose livelihoods depended on the extraction of natural resources. Concerning the conservation awareness gap for teenagers and children, our Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) initiated the application of the concepts of Social Capital and Bandura’s Social Learning Theory to facilitate this the community. It was found that the involvement of multi stakeholders supports the well-rounded learning experience for the children and teenagers in enchancing their awareness about the conservation of marine ecosystem and the life of under water. Online guest lecture from Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries as well as guided learning process by undergraduate students through their community service program are some of the influential initiatives.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Lubuk Linggau District Court, South Sumatra. This study aims to examine and analyze the legal rules on criminal acts without the right to carry sharp weapons in the Musi Rawas Lubuk Linggau area. The method used in this study is a normative legal research method that is descriptive analysis, namely research conducted by examining library materials (secondary data) or library legal research. The types and sources of data used in this study are Types of data, Data sources and, data collection techniques used in this study using library research.  Based on the research results, in terms of ownership of sharp weapons, anyone without exception can be punished in this case, and when is a person declared as a perpetrator of the crime of ownership of sharp weapons as written in the rules as regulated and threatened with criminal penalties in Article 2 paragraph (1) of Law/drt/No.12 of 1951. Like the case study discussed in this case, the case of "Without the Right to Carry Sharp Weapons" is proven written in article two, it is explained that anyone who without the right brings into Indonesia, makes, receives, tries to obtain it, hands over or tries to hand over, controls, carries, has a stock of it or has in his possession, stores, transports, hides, uses or removes from Indonesia a weapon for striking, stabbing, or stabbing weapon (slag, steek of stoot wapen), is punished with a maximum prison sentence of ten years. The conclusion in this case is that anyone who does not have a permit to own sharp weapons and has no relationship with his work is declared to have committed the crime of possessing sharp weapons without a permit.  .That in the case of possession of sharp weapons without a permit, it basically must be further investigated in order to fulfill the elements of justice from various parties, namely the judge's consideration must look at two sides, which in this case the consideration should no longer look at what kind of unrest is a threat to residents so that the defendant is reported, and see what caused the defendant to carry a sharp weapon on the grounds of being on guard. Abstract

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam which contains the divine dimension (dimensi illahiyah) as well as the human dimension (dimensi insaniyah). The divine dimension refers to the vertical relationship between the servant and God where zakat is an order from Allah that must be fulfilled by every servant. Meanwhile, the human dimension emanates from the horizontal relationship between human beings within which zakat has wide social implications to bridge inequality, injustice and poverty. This study aims to further comprehend the philosophical basis of zakat in part of sharia economic law. This study is a library research that uses a theoretical approach by utilizing relevant literature sources. Thus, this study aims to show that philosophy is the basic foundation for determining the orientation and direction of an economic system based on Islamic sharia principles. This study also concludes that the philosophical aspects of zakat are manifested in the functionalization of zakat which, in addition to being a means of purifying the soul and property from kufr and miserliness, can also be a means to foster a sense of sympathy and social sensitivity among human beings. Keywords: Zakat, Philosophical Foundation, Sharia Economic Law

Abstract

This research examines the increase in the population in Balikpapan City due to the relocation of the National Capital (IKN) and the low participation of the community in the Family Planning (KB) program. The main objective of the study is to compare the effectiveness of two numerical methods, namely the Bisection method and Newton-Raphson method, in predicting the population numbers. Both methods are applied to determine the convergent value of the developed population growth model. The research results show that the Newton-Raphson method has an advantage in terms of convergence speed, requiring only 5 iterations, compared to the Bisection method which requires 26 iterations. This indicates that Newton-Raphson is more efficient in the calculation process. These findings make an important contribution to the development of a more accurate predictive model to support public policy planning, particularly in anticipating population spikes and increasing basic service needs in the buffer areas of IKN.

Abstract

That study's objective is to develop and develop a web-based information system for renting suits and kebaya in Palembang City. This system is expected to facilitate the process of renting traditional clothing, especially suits and kebayas, for various events and occasions. The system will provide an online platform for customers to browse and select available Suits and Kebayas, make online reservations, and track their rental status. The system will also allow rental service providers to manage inventory, update availability, and accept online payments. The proposed system is expected to boost productivity and effectiveness of the renting procedure, increase customer satisfaction, and increase the competitiveness of rental service providers in Palembang City. The system will be developed using a web-based approach, and its functionality will be evaluated through usability testing and user acceptance testing. Because the information presented basically comes from input data (input), then before entering data you must check the data correctness of data so that the resulting information is appropriate. Prepare hardware and software support whose specifications can support this system well. Perform periodic data back-ups to anticipate undesirable events. This system cannot only be used for one place. It is hoped that this system can be used in all places or areas where the system is not yet computerized to save time and energy.

Abstract

Penerapan sistem informasi e-document dalam proses akreditasi program studi di Unit Lembaga Penjamin Mutu (LPM) IKesT Muhammadiyah Palembang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan dokumen akreditasi yang selama ini dilakukan secara manual. Penelitian bertujuan untuk merancang Sistem Informasi E-Document berbasis web yang mengoptimalkan akreditasi dalam 9 standar dengan menerapkan 2 metode yaitu pengambilan record  melalui  database  sistem  yang  terintegrasi  dengan  unit  lain,  dan  input  upload dokumen prodi. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dan wawancara. Kemudian rancangan metode menggunakan Metode RAD. Kesimpulan Penelitian adalah penerapan sistem e-document dengan metode RAD di LPM IKesT Muhammadiyah Palembang memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perbaikan manajemen dokumen akreditasi program studi. Selain itu, diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi institusi pendidikan lain dalam penerapan sistem serupa untuk mendukung proses akreditasi yang lebih efisien dan efektif.
