Abstract

The increased mobility of international students demands a deep understanding of their motivations, learning experiences, and academic challenges. This study explores the factors that influence the selection of Indonesia as a study destination as well as the process of academic, social, cultural, and psychological adaptation of students at State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN), as well as providing insights for the development of international academic policies and practices. A phenomenological qualitative approach was used through in-depth interviews and focused group discussions (FGDs) with international students from various PTKINs, including UIN Malang, UIN Jakarta, and UIN Yogyakarta. The analysis emphasizes students' subjective experiences related to motivation, learning, and academic barriers. The results of the study showed that students' motivation was influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors, including religious interests, cultural interests, family support, scholarships, career prospects, language skills, and the desire to deepen religious knowledge. Learning experiences include social, cultural, academic, and psychological adaptation, influenced by language skills, peer support, organizational involvement, inclusive teaching methods, and institutional services such as the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program and International Office assistance. The variety of services between PTKIN can be seen, for example, UIN Malang excels in personal mentoring, UIN Jakarta in program flexibility and BIPA, and UIN Yogyakarta in academic access and administrative support. The main academic challenges include language barriers, academic literacy, information limitations, study pressure, curriculum adjustments, and lack of multilingual references and psychosocial support. These findings provide important implications for PTKIN in improving academic services, supporting the adaptation of international students, and strengthening campus internationalization.

Abstract

Facing the progress of an increasingly sophisticated era, of course, the right steps are needed to dare to advance in the face of the era of the rise of organizational development, so that taking steps for the future is certainly very concerned, especially making organizational design, the urgency of making organizational design determines taking the right strategy. Through taking the right strategy in the organizational structure, the organization can facilitate the exchange of knowledge and communication between members and uphold the moral standards and performance of employees to be more professional. This research uses a literature study methodology, retrieving this data source through analysis of various literature sources. The results of this discussion provide an understanding that strategies are assembled to organize and implement strategies to achieve various predetermined goals while maintaining and expanding organizational activities. With an organizational structure that is flexible and in line with current developments, organizations can more easily adapt and move quickly to anticipate changes. After going through this research, it can be seen that there is an urgency from the existence of an organizational structure to its strategy in the organization. The organizational structure also determines the arrangement of interaction patterns and leads to the achievement of the performance set by the organization. Therefore, organizations must continue to develop and update their organizational structure to remain relevant and effective in achieving their goals.

Abstract

Technology integration in education management has become a crucial aspect in efforts to improve the quality of education in the digital era. This article examines the opportunities and challenges faced in the application of technology in education management. The main opportunities that arise include increasing administrative efficiency, easier access to information, and developing more interactive and adaptive technology-based learning. On the other hand, the challenges faced include gaps in access to technology, lack of training for educators, and organizational cultural barriers in technology adoption. This study aims to provide insights for education stakeholders in formulating effective strategies to utilize technology, while addressing existing challenges. With the right approach, technology integration can be a catalyst for improving the quality of education that is more inclusive and globally competitive.

Abstract

This research explores the importance of transparency and accountability in school financial management, especially in fund management. In the educational context, effective financial management not only ensures the continuity of school operations, but also influences the quality of education provided to students. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study methods in several schools that have implemented transparent and accountable financial management. The research results show that disclosure of financial information to all stakeholders, including parents and the community, is very important in building trust and active participation. In addition, accountability in managing school funds is achieved through clear reporting mechanisms, internal and external audits, and the involvement of the school finance committee in decision making. These findings confirm that transparency and accountability are not just administrative requirements, but are also the foundation for effective and efficient financial management. With transparency, schools can avoid misuse of funds and improve the quality of educational services. The conclusion of this article recommends implementing policies that support transparency and accountability in school financial management to achieve better educational goals.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong pemanfaatan berbagai media pembelajaran digital dalam proses pendidikan. Namun, tidak semua media pembelajaran dirancang berdasarkan prinsip kognitif yang mampu mendukung pemahaman peserta didik secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik media pembelajaran digital berdasarkan perspektif prinsip multimedia Mayer dan Cognitive Load Theory. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur melalui analisis berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan mengenai media pembelajaran digital, prinsip multimedia, dan teori beban kognitif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran digital yang efektif memiliki beberapa karakteristik utama, yaitu integrasi teks dan visual yang saling mendukung, penyajian informasi secara sistematis dan terstruktur, serta pengurangan elemen yang tidak relevan untuk meminimalkan beban kognitif peserta didik. Selain itu, penerapan prinsip pengelolaan beban kognitif dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memproses, menyimpan, dan memahami informasi secara lebih efisien. Dengan demikian, penerapan prinsip multimedia Mayer dan Cognitive Load Theory menjadi landasan penting dalam perancangan media pembelajaran digital yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of information technology in the digital era has driven changes in the learning process, particularly through the use of online learning platforms. One platform widely used in learning activities is Google Classroom because it can facilitate the delivery of materials, assignment collection, and communication between teachers and students. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of using Google Classroom as a digital learning medium using the SECTIONS framework focused on three aspects: ease of use, interaction, and security. A mixed methods approach was used in this study by taking data directly from the field. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents consisting of students, university students, and teachers or lecturers who have used Google Classroom. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis by calculating the average value of each indicator on a four-level Likert scale. In general, in the ever-transforming educational landscape, numerous studies have revealed a crucial truth: Google Classroom is not just a tool, but a truly digital learning medium for crafting more dynamic learning experiences. From classrooms to the corners of homes, this platform has proven its ability to bridge distances, simplify complexity, and open the door to limitless collaboration, carving a positive imprint on every step of the learning process. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi informasi pada era digital telah mendorong perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran, khususnya melalui pemanfaatan platform pembelajaran daring. Salah satu platform yang banyak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran adalah Google Classroom karena mampu memepermudah pemberian materi, pengumpulan tugas, serta komunikasi antara pengajar dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan penggunaan Google Classroom sebagai media pembelajaran digital dengan menggunakan kerangka SECTIONS yang difokuskan pada tiga aspek, yaitu ease of use, interaction, dan security. Pendekatan mixed method digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan mengambil data langsung dari lapangan. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 50 responden yang terdiri dari siswa, mahasiswa, serta guru atau dosen yang pernah menggunakan Google Classroom. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata dari setiap indikator pada skala likert empat tingkat. Secara umum, dalam lanskap pendidikan yang terus bertransformasi, berbagai penelitian telah menyingkap sebuah kebenaran penting: Google Classroom bukan sekadar alat bantu, melainkan sebuah media pembelajaran digital yang sungguh layak untuk merangkai pengalaman belajar yang lebih dinamis. Dari ruang-ruang kelas hingga sudut-sudut rumah, platform ini telah membuktikan kemampuannya dalam menjembatani jarak, menyederhanakan kompleksitas, dan membuka gerbang kolaborasi yang tak terbatas, mengukir jejak positif dalam setiap langkah proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Organizations are a very important element in modern society both in the public sector (State) and in the private sector. Each organization has certain boundaries, so that someone who interacts with other parties is not of their own free will, they are limited by certain rules. Therefore, each organization has a different structure that can affect the attitudes and behavior of its members. To achieve these goals, higher education institutions need a good organizational structure, namely a healthy and efficient organizational structure. organizational structure is the result of the management process, in this case as the output of the organizing process. In the process of forming an organizational structure, the Team must pay attention to and apply various organizational principles, namely the formulation of clear objectives, departmentalization, division of labor, delegation of authority, span of control, organizational levels, and unity of command. The application of these principles in the organizing process can result in a healthy and efficient organizational structure.

Abstract

Transformasi teknologi menuntut adanya inovasi dalam media pembelajaran yang bersifat fleksibel dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektif penggunaan video interaktif, microlearning, dan podcast sebagai pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Metode yang dipakai adalah studi kepustakaan (literature review) dengan menganalisa sumber data sekunder yang terpercaya. Hasil penelitian mengungkapan bahwa video interaktif paling berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik melalui fitur kuis. Microlearning berdampak positif pada efisiensi pemahaman materi dengan cepat terutama bagi peserta didik yang memiliki rentang perhatian terbatas. Sementara itu, podcast memiliki keunggulan dalam memberikan kemudahan belajar yang santai dan tidak terbatasi oleh tempat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa efektivitas yang maksimal dapat dicapai dengan mengintegrasikan ketiga media tersebut secara strategis sesuai dengan konteks materi dan karakteristik peserta didik.

Abstract

SWOT analysis is widely used as a tool for analyzing a company's internal and external environment. This analysis is based on the idea that effective strategies minimize weaknesses and threats if used correctly, this simple idea has a significant impact on how the strategy is created. Developing an appropriate conceptual model to determine company strategy and identifying optimal areas using SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Threats, Opportunities) and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) techniques will help further company strategy and build a conceptual model to find the optimal area. Conversely, a SWOT analysis also determines which components will help the company achieve its goals, which groups face challenges, and what will dominate or be minimized to achieve the desired results. With rapid changes, the challenges of the 40th Industrial Era can provide entrepreneurs with both opportunities and threats. Therefore, a company must have an appropriate competitive strategy to achieve the goal of increasing profit or profit by one way, namely increasing marketing. One way to understand the right strategy for a company is to carry out a SWOT analysis.

Management are widely recognized in Indonesia, particularly in the fields of education, social work, and government. Management is a crucial discipline that plays a vital role in enhancing the performance of an organization. Kinerja, or work performance, is a combination of skills, effort, and effort that can be measured. It is a vital aspect of a school's functioning and is closely related to organizational needs, management, and employees. Kinerja management is a comprehensive approach to improving a school's educational system. It involves strategic planning, enhancing instructional practices, and improving student performance. This approach is based on three critical pillars: the teacher, school, and the educational system. The teacher's role in managing kinerja involves collaboration and identifying effective teaching strategies. The school's role in managing kinerja involves promoting teacher development, ensuring student performance, and conducting evaluations. Management are essential components of a school's success. They help create a conducive environment for learning and development, ultimately leading to better student performance.
