Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa SMA Kota Bandung dan Kabupaten Bandung Barat.  Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah guru kurang baik dalam merancang model pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan, situasi, dan kondisi peserta didik dan pendidik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu adaptasi dari metode penelitian dan pengembangan Sukmadinata (2016) yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan yaitu (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) pengembangan model, dan (3) pengujian model. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran angket. Uji kelayakan model pembelajaran divalidasi oleh 11 orang ahli, dengan skor rata-rata 96% dengan kategori sangat baik dan layak diujicobakan. Keefektifan pengembangan model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan media sosial instagram reels dinilai efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur. Berdasarkan Hasil perhitungan nilai ratarata N-Gain score kelas eksperimen pada uji luas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan media sosial instagram reels adalah sebesar 84,48% termasuk kategori efektif, sedangkan keterpakaian model pembelajaran diperoleh berdasarkan respons peserta didik melalui angket menunjukkan 96% siswa merasa pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur dengan model pembelajaran ini sangat menarik karena dapat langsung membantu siswa untuk mengetahui cara yang tepat menulis teks prosedur sesuai struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan serta mempublikasikannya. Selanjutnya hasil respons angket guru secara kumulatif seluruh aspek memperoleh skor rata-rata adalah 49 setara dengan 97% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpukan bahwa model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan media sosial instagram reels dalam pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur layak diterapkan.

Abstract

This research delves into the school-parent partnership model at Terang Nusantara Elementary School in Bandung, to support educational success. Grounded in Ki Hadjar Dewantara's concept of the Education Tri-Center, this study highlights the importance of synergy between schools and parents in influencing students' academic achievement and character development. Employing qualitative methods, such as observation, interviews, and document analysis, this research reveals the dynamics of planning, implementation, and the impact of such partnerships. The results indicate that effective collaboration between schools and parents enhances academic performance and student-character development. This partnership is characterized by open communication and active participation from both parties. However, the study also identifies challenges, such as differing expectations, time constraints, and language and cultural barriers that impede the partnership. This research recommends strategies to overcome these obstacles, including improved communication, joint training, and adapting partnership activities to accommodate cultural diversity. The implications are the importance of schools recognizing and involving parents as strategic partners in the educational process.

Abstract

This research aims at developing an Ethnoliteracy-based guided discovery learning model in writing imaginary stories at elementary schools. It used the research and development (R&D) method with 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) model. Teachers and students in 5th-grade elementary schools served as the subjects of this research. The instruments that this research used included observation, interviews, and documentation with the developed steps of guided discovery learning model consisting of stimulus, problem identification, data collection, data processing, publication, and reflection. The data in this research were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The research found that based on expert assessment, the feasibility of this learning model was scored 87.5% by the linguist and 93.3% by the culture expert. Based on the development trial result, the prepared learning planning was classified as highly practical at 86.7% and practical at 13.3%. In practice, students managed to write an imaginary story and scored an average of 80.28. This means that the Ethnoliteracy-based guided discovery learning model in writing imaginary stories was feasible for use in elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an Indonesian e-module based on the ICARE approach, which includes the stages of Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflection, and Extension. The method in this study was research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The stages conducted in this study were (1) needs analysis, (2) design, (3) product development, (4) implementation or trial, and (5) evaluation. The validity of the product was assessed by three experts in the fields of material, language, and media. The calculation of the data in this study was analyzed using a questionnaire with a Likert scale method. The response trial was conducted with junior high school students in grade VIII from 3 schools in Batam City. Based on the test results, it was obtained a score of 4.58 with a validity level of 89%. It provides evidence that the implementation of e-modules based on the ICARE approach in an educational environment can increase the effectiveness of Indonesian learning. Students can learn independently and collaboratively, and develop critical skills such as problem-solving, analysis, and synthesis of information.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk berupa model kelas terbalik berbasis literasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran menulis anekdot yang layak baik dari ahli maupun pengguna. Untuk menghasil produk tersebut, penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang mencakup sepuluh tahapan penelitian. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 orang validator ahli, 5 orang guru, dan 105 siswa SMA di Kabupaten Bandung. Data hasil penelitian diolah secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mendapatkan penilaian sangat baik berdasarkan validator ahli baik ditinjau dari indikator desain model, media pembelajaran, maupun evaluasi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan tanggapan guru sebagai pengguna, model kelas terbalik berbasis literasi digital dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot berada pada kualifikasi sangat layak baik ditinjau dari indikator kemudahan, kemenarikan, kesesuaian, maupun kemanfaatan model pembelajaran.  Tanggapan siswa terhadap model yang dikembangkan juga dinilai sangat layak ditinjau dari indikator kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kebermanfaatan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, model pembelajaran kelas terbalik berbasis literasi digital layak untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks anekdot.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan argumentasi telah menjadi kompetensi esensial dalam pendidikan abad ke-21, meskipun pengembangannya masih menghadapi tantangan signifikan di ruang kelas Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengkaji tren implementasi game-based learning (GBL) berbantuan card dan board game untuk meningkatkan kedua keterampilan tersebut melalui tinjauan literatur sistematik mengikuti model PRISMA. Pencarian dilakukan pada basis data Google Scholar, ERIC, dan Harzing's Publish or Perish menggunakan kata kunci bertarget dalam rentang tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Dua puluh artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi dari 100 studi yang teridentifikasi awal. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 90% studi yang ditinjau membuktikan efektivitas GBL dalam meningkatkan berpikir kritis melalui diskusi kolaboratif, aktivitas pemecahan masalah, dan proses berpikir desain. Model tri-phase dengan durasi semester panjang muncul sebagai pendekatan implementasi optimal. Hambatan utama meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesenjangan kapasitas guru, dan tantangan manajemen waktu. Solusi yang direkomendasikan mencakup program pelatihan guru terstruktur, pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang mudah diakses, dan model instruksional berbasis scaffolding. Bukti mengonfirmasi bahwa GBL berbantuan card dan board game efektif mengembangkan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan argumentasi, dengan rekomendasi spesifik untuk adaptasi pada konteks pendidikan Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of glocalization of international slang within the Indonesian language as used by Generation Alpha. This research employs a qualitative content analysis approach, focusing on the dominance of glocalization forms, the context of usage, and the underlying reasons for language preferences among Generation Alpha. Based on exploration in virtual spaces, 20 variations of international slang were identified, including suss, savage, insecure, anomali, slay, jump in, flex, vibe, glow up, periodt, simp, bop, FOMO, CMIW, cringe, LOL, ghosting, stan, salty, and spill. The findings show that 75% of these terms underwent a semantic shift through processes such as amelioration, pejoration, generalization, specialization, and association, while the remaining 25% retained their original meanings. The results indicate that the glocalization of slang is primarily influenced by globalization, digital technology, social media, and popular culture. The study further reveals that the family environment and education also play a significant role in shaping these slang language preferences. These findings reflect the social and cultural dynamics of Generation Alpha, who are adept at integrating global linguistic elements into local contexts, thereby creating a unique and dynamic linguistic identity.

Abstract

Developing students' ability to write effective digital advertisement texts is crucial in today's media-rich environment. This study explores the impact of the Book Creator application on enhancing junior high school students’ digital advertisement writing skills. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group was employed. The participants included 60 eighth-grade students who were randomly assigned to either the experimental group, which received instruction using the Book Creator app, or the control group, which followed traditional teaching methods. A validated writing skills test was used to measure students’ performance before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using tests of normality, homogeneity, paired t-tests, and independent t-tests. Findings revealed a significant improvement in the post-test scores of the experimental group (M = 87.70) compared to the control group (M = 75.27), with a mean difference of 12.43 (t = 7.268, p 0.001). The experimental group demonstrated enhanced ability in constructing persuasive, well-structured, and visually supported digital advertisements. The results suggest that integrating Book Creator into writing instruction supports the development of digital writing competencies, including creativity, structure, and multimedia integration. The study highlights the potential of digital tools to foster digital literacy and engagement among junior high school learners.

Abstract

This paper discusses the use of technological media and the students’ writing drama text skills between Class XI IPA 1 and XI IPS at SMA N 1 Bandar Sei Kijang. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The research instrument is an interview questionnaire guideline that will be administered to Indonesian teachers. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 Bandar Sei Kijang with 23 students of class XI IPA 1 and 21 students of class XI IPS 1. The data collection technique in the study was to use interview guidelines, which contain questions about students’ learning conditions, students’ learning achievements, and students’ learning outcomes by applying different media and methods. The results indicate that technology media with the question and answer method was more effective to use than print media with the lecture method. It was proven based on the interviews. The students who used technology media with the question and answer method obtained results that tended to be high with a value of 83.52. The use of technology in learning can ease students and teachers to carry out learning.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze sociolects found in the film Uang Panai’ 2 Maha(L)R and to examine their relevance to Indonesian language learning based on local wisdom. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with film dialogues serving as the primary data source, collected through viewing and note-taking techniques. Data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal four factors influencing the use of sociolects in the film: speakers’ age, employment status, educational level, and socioeconomic class. Age differences emerge as the most dominant factor, reflected in forms of address and diction that indicate hierarchical relations and politeness in intergenerational interactions. Employment status is characterized by technical vocabulary and professional communication styles, while educational level is marked by the use of formal and academic language. Socioeconomic class is manifested through code-mixing and lexical choices that signal social status. The study concludes that film dialogues can function as contextual learning resources for teaching language variation, linguistic politeness, and local cultural values in Indonesian language education.
